Path of The Sincere: From Repentance to The Reality of Kawthar (Fountain of Abundance)
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi

I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.

Sayyidul Istighfar Contains Immense Lights
Alhamdulillah these are the nights of and the night of immense forgiveness in which Allah (AJ) forgive the servant whom is asking. By means of fasting immense lights to be dressed upon a servant in which they can’t achieve through their ‘amal (actions). But only Allah (AJ) can grant through the secret of siyam (fasting) in which the reward comes directly from Allah (AJ). The way that awliyaullah (saints) have given for us du’as (supplications) in which to understand the way in which to approach. The du’as on the app [Muhammadan Way App] from their teachings, from their understandings. That when we make the du’as Sayyidul Istighfar then has an immense secret, immense blessing, immense lights upon it. That all our intentions are from the intentions, ‘Ya Rabbi that they don’t know and I’m asking from the intention of my Shaykhs and their understanding, their intention. I’m merely copying that way and the way of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ’ as to not limit that secret that coming to us and dressing us, inshaAllah. We pray that Allah (AJ) grant trust to us. You have the Sayyidul Istighfar Shahzad [Shaykh asks audience]? “Tawbatan ‘abdin zalimin…”
Reciter: Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. “Tawbatan ‘abdin zalimin li nafsihi, la yamliku li nafsihi mawtan wa la hayatan wa la nushura. Allahumma anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta khalaqtani. The repentance of a slave who has oppressed himself, who neither has power over his death, nor his life, nor his resurrection.O God! You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You have created me. I am Your slave and I hold fast to Your covenant and Your promise (as much as I am able). I take refuge in You from the evil I have done, and testify that Your Grace is upon me, and profess my sin. Forgive me, for there is no one who forgives sins except You, O Allah!
Our Lord, make not our hearts to swerve, after You have guided us; and give us Your Mercy; You are the Bestower. (Family of Imran, 3:8)
O Bestower! O Bestower! O Bestower!O Originator of causes! O Opener of doors! O Tuner (Changer) of hearts and eyes! O Guide of the perplexed! O Succour for those who seek Your aid! O Living! O Self-Subsisting One! O (You who are) possessed of Majesty and Bounty! I entrust my affair unto Allah. Truly, Allah is aware of His servants.
Secret of Istighfar (Repentance) from The Holy Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
“Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Alif-laam-meem. Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum wa atubu alayk. Inna huwa tawwabur Raheem.” So means alhamdulillah that Allah (AJ) give from the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ a means in which these ‘ashiqeen (lovers) to praise and pray and make their istighfar with all of its immense realities. “Alif-laam-meem. Allahu la ilaha illa Hu.”
3:1-2 – “Alif-laam-meem. Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum”. (Surat Ali ‘Imran)
“Alif, laam, meem. Allah, there is no God but He, the Ever Living, Self Subsisting.” (Family of Imran, 3:1-2)
“Alif-Laam-Meem”: That the immensity of just this ayatul kareem (generous verse of Holy Qur’an) and what it opens from the realities of Holy Qur’an. That, that dress when they’re asking for istighfar they’re asking by this ‘izzah and this might of Holy Qur’an that can be understood in “Alif-laam-meem. Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum.” It means that from the secret of “Alif-laam-meem” that ‘Izzatullah (Allah’s (AJ) Might and Magnificence) wanted to be known and through a Divine tongue that was created came Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ (Muhammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Allah (AJ)). That Lisanul Haq (tongue of truth) from ‘Izzatullah to Lisanul Haq to the Muhammadan haqqaiq (realities). That this secret was going to be known.
“Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum”: That “Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum” that as soon as they’re reciting “Al Hayyul Qayyum” (The Ever-Living and Self-Sustaining), this is a code for the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Allah (AJ) is neither Hayyul Qayyum these are attributes of creation. Anything with hay (the ever-living) has mayyit (death) – anything with life has death. Allah (AJ) is outside of anything from us understanding life and death. That Hayyul Qayyum is a code in which to reach to the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and then asking for the intercession of Prophet ﷺ.
“Wa atubu alayk. Innahu tawwabur Raheem”: That Prophet ﷺ take our case and intercede for us to take away the badness, the bad character. That only the intercession of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ can diminish everything. This is a gift that Allah (AJ) has already given. So the way in which they approach, the words in which they use is the eloquence of their ‘ishq and their love.
Following the Guides and Receiving from Their Dress by Copying Them
So means by following guidance and guides we see what they recite. We read what they recite and in our lives we copy exactly that. If you clever enough to copy that then alhamdulillah your heart one day will be inspired from what they’re reaching and what they’ve been dressed. Ones whom copy them will be dressed and will receive from their intention. This is all from that Hadith Prophet ﷺ… We said each Hadith of Prophet ﷺ is immense ocean. ‘You will be with whom you love,’ in every deed and every action.
“عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: … فَقَالَ (رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ): ” أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ.
[اَلْمَصْدَرْ: مُسْلِمْ:٧٥٢٠]
‘An Anasin (ra): … Faqala (Rasulullahi) ﷺ: “Anta ma’a man ahbabta.”
Narrated Anas ibn Malik (ra) that …the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “You will be with whom you love.” [Source: Muslim 7520]
That we are here under the love of Prophet ﷺ, love of Allah (AJ) that guided us to the turuqs (spiritual paths). To the path of ‘ishq (love) that made the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. This love of Prophet ﷺ guided us to his ‘ashiqeen (loves) that, ‘You love me. I want you to be with my real and true lovers,’ and these are the turuqs; the path of ‘ishq and muhabbat (love). They’re the ‘ashiqeen, the lovers and they are surrounded by ahbab – those whom they have an immense love for Prophet ﷺ. As a result that Hadith is you’ll be with them in every action and every deed. If you recite from what they recite, you will be with them. Your intention will be under them and this then becomes an immense, immense cycle of power.
Keeping the Company of the Truthful Ones and Living by Their Presence
That instead of an individual trying to find their Islam or their way or their spiritual path by themself. Hoping one day it will be right, next day it is wrong, next day it is right. Allah (AJ) guide them, ‘Why have to reinvent everything? I’m going to send you to those whom are sincere and whom I found satisfaction in them. Copy them!’ “Wa kono ma’as sadiqeen” – have a taqwa; have consciousness.
9:119 – “Ya ayyuhal ladheena amanoo ittaqollaha wa kono ma’as sadiqeen.” (Surat At-Tawba)
“O you who have believed, have consciousness of Allah and be with those who are truthful/Pious/sincere (in words and deed).” (The Repentance, 9:119)
Conscious means you have a sense of awareness, ‘I can’t do this on my own Ya Rabbi. It is going to take me many lifetimes.’ Then Allah (AJ), “Wa kono ma’as sadiqeen.” Keep in your life; your physical and spiritual life keep always in their company. Because Allah (AJ) doesn’t care for the physical. Allah’s (AJ) concern is for that which is eternal – the soul. So then ayatul kareem is in reference always to malakut (heavenly realm) first. Why Allah (AJ) cares about your body? It is temporary and it is finishing.
Inside Controls Outside
But if you understood through your soul that I must always keep their company. It means I must always keep the visual of them, the nazar (gaze) of them, the hudur – the presence of them always with my soul. I must always be in their company. They must always be with me. This is what Allah (AJ) cares about. For the inside controls the outside not the outside control the inside.
Inside power if achieved will control all the faculties of your outside. The outside can do nothing onto the inside because it is a completely different realm, it is an untouchable realm. So means then the inside connection of, ‘Ya Rabbi I make my tafakkur – my contemplation and I keep my presence always with my Shaykhs, their eternal light. That I always want to keep that company,’ then we’re achieving ayatul kareem, “Wa kono ma’as sadiqeen (Holy Qur’an, 9:119).” That have your consciousness, keep their company.
The Company of Your Shaykh is a Shield Against Satan
Every time you ponder, reflect and contemplate that company is a light of truth so that you don’t deceive yourself and that shaitan doesn’t deceive you. For anyone by themself, who is there with them? It is shaitan, making everything to seem fair and good to them. But when we learn to keep that company that we’re always in that company that becomes also a protection for us. Because that company, that light begins to tell us, ‘Watch out! That’s not right. What you’re about to do is not correct. How you’re about to say is not right.’ That light of truth is what’s important for us and dresses us and blesses us, inshaAllah.
That light of truth is the Kawthar (fountain of abundance) that comes to that question: that why the Kawthar? Why the month of pilgrimage is the Kawthar? That Surat Al-Kawthar is surah (chapter) 108. This reality of 9 and the sultanate (kingdom) of 9 [12×9=108]. That your hand is burned with a 1 and a 8. That Allah (AJ) burned it on us, ‘You are a 9, you serve the 9, you serve the king. You serve the sultan.’
Angelic Reality of Numbers
So in the way of awliyaullah and spiritual realities the 9 is the sultan (King) of all numbers, most powerful number. Anything that multiplied and added by 9 is rendered back into 9. Many other mathematical secrets. Because the numbers and the reality of numbers are an angelic knowledge. Kalaam (words) is of a dunya (material world) knowledge. The kalaam and the words can have many points of errors. You spell something wrong it becomes something different, a completely different word. But can you spell 8 wrong? 8 is 8. 9 is 9. 1 is 1. Awwal is one but I spell awwal maybe I put the wrong letters in it and it spells something else. So in coding and programming everyone knows that the letters could be very fallible and many, many errors.
So when Allah (AJ) want to give a knowledge of an angelic understanding then it has to do with the numbers from 1 – huwal awwal and 9 huwal akhir. Then from 1 to 9 most powerful numbers, everything else double digit renders itself to one of these single digit numbers, right. 13; 1, 3 = 4, comes to 4. 25; 2, 5 = 7 comes down to 7. So the only numbers we’re interested now is 1 through 9. So then this gives us an immense understanding of realities for those whom are interested in numbers and begin to meditate and study on that reality.
Shamsul ‘Arifeen (Sun of Knowers) and the Journey of 12 Months
So this way of awliyaullah is the way of understanding the sultanate of the heavens, the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That, that 9 becomes their multiplier. So then they traverse and the guidance of Qur’an that comes to them is from the veil of 9. So Muharram the 9th surah is their guidance because they already traversed Fatiha from 1 through 9. Now in their way of ma’rifah (Gnosticism) the 12 veils that open to them are from level 9.
1st Gate – Surah Tawbah: So Surah Tawbah is in Muharram guiding them. Tawbah (repentance) means they enter the gate of tawbah to make a true repentance and Surah Tawbah has no “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” It means that they’re coming to sacrifice their bad character. Not, ‘Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Ya Rabbi forgive me, let me continue with my badness.’ ‘Bismillah Allahu Akbar (Allah (AJ) is the Greatest) that I’m asking to be zabiha (sacrifice). That my bad character to be taken. I’m asking to enter into this baab and to this gate to reach Your realities.’
12th Gate – Surah Kawthar: They traverse these hijabs (veils) to the 12th month. 12th month is 12×9 and they land on Surat Al-Kawthar (108). So means you have to enter tawbah go through these pardeh (veils) all the way to Surat Al-Kawthar. Surah Kawthar is the fountain of abundance in which Allah (AJ) when He want to grant the soul what He wants to grant. It has to be from the dress, the drink and the submerging into the reality of the Kawthar.
Sarah Al-Kawthar:
Flowing Fountain of Kawthar from Holy Heart of Prophet ﷺ
This is Prophet’s ﷺ fountain. That we have given, “‘Atayna kal kawthar. Fasali li rabbika wanhar.”
108:1-3 – Inna ‘atayna kal kawthar. (1) Fasali li rabbika wanhar.(2) Inna shani-aka huwal abtar. (3) (Surat al Kawthar)
“To thee (O Muhammad) we have granted the Fount (of Abundance). (1)
So pray to your Lord and Sacrifice.(2) Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.” (Holy Quran, The Abundance)
“Inna ‘Atayna Kal Kawthar” (108:1): ‘We have given you the fountain of overwhelming abundance.’ There is nothing left out of it. There is nothing anywhere else. Everything, every reality, everything is within that Kawthar of Allah (AJ) has given that fountain to Prophet ﷺ. “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” is feeding that reality, its dress are oceans that enter into the pond of Kawthar. So as a result “Fasali li rabbika wanhar.” It means that these servants who reach to this Kawthar because they’re reaching to the heart and the reality of Prophet ﷺ and that Kawthar is flowing from the qalb (heart) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, right?
Because Manzil ul Qur’an (where the Holy Qur’an emanates), where is Qur’an coming? It is not just flowing in the air somewhere. The one whom eternally is revealing Holy Qur’an. Because don’t think in physicality that what we understand of qalb is nothing that can be understood. But if the whole of light is a creation, there is a center-most point of power and that power Qur’an is flowing from it. That is the heart and the qalb of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ in that world of light. Because it cannot be Allah (AJ), “La ilaha illAllah” (There is no deity but Allah (AJ)). Allah (AJ) clarifies for us no, no, no. Allah (AJ), there is nothing but Allah (AJ). This is a creation. Allah (AJ) is not within creation. Allah (AJ) is the power of creation.
“Fasali Li Rabbika Wanhar” (108:2): So means then that flowing reality Allah (AJ) gave to him ﷺ that, ‘I’m going to be… I made for you, I made your reality to reveal My secret. As a result this fountain of Kawthar is flowing from your heart.’ When they reach to the Kawthar Allah (AJ) begin to describe their khuluq and character. “Fasali li rabbika” – they pray unto their Rab (Lord) because they understood, ‘Who knows himself will know his Rab.’
“قال رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ:” مَنْ عَرَفَ نَفْسَهْ فَقَدْ عَرَفَ رَبَّهُ
Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ: “Man ‘arafa nafsahu faqad ‘arafa Rabbahu”
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Who knows himself, knows his Lord.”
They pray unto their Rab and that they live a life of sacrifice because this is the Hajj (pilgrimage). They sacrifice money, they sacrifice time, they sacrifice everything because that was the whole of ‘Arafah. All the movement of Hajj was to get you to submit, to get you to the Jabal ar Rahma (Mount of Mercy) and to make the sacrifice.
Who are the Kawthari People (People Dressed from the Fountain of Abundance)?
That don’t think anything in your life is off the table with Allah (AJ). Don’t think you gave and now you achieved something. As soon as you gave Allah (AJ) is asking now, ‘Give more. I’m coming after you for more of what you have.’ So means Allah (AJ) is not saying it is ever over. Give, give, give, do, do, do until your last breath. So they live a life of self-sacrifice, these are the Kawthari individuals. Their time is for Allah (AJ), their life is for Allah (AJ) to the best of their ability that they have. Everyone has an ability and they can do or they cannot do. But this was the goal that, ‘Ya Rabbi that my life, my death for You, my service to You.’ These Kawthari are an example of that. Their time for Allah (AJ), their knowledges, whatever Allah (AJ) has given to them for Allah (AJ) and for Ummat e Muhammad ﷺ (nation of Prophet ﷺ). “Fasali li rabbika wanhar” and they lived the life of service and sacrifice.
All the companions and Ahlul Bayt (holy family of Prophet ﷺ) are an example of that. Who is the big sacrifice? Imam Hussain (as). They didn’t give money, they gave their lives. They gave their lives. 72 and 1 into a field in which they gave themselves entirely for Allah (AJ) and they lead by example. They lead that when you think your life is hard or you’ve done too much, look to the family of Prophet ﷺ. Look to the holy companions. Then we haven’t even touched the ground compared to what they’ve done.
Kawthari People Motivate Us to Struggle More in Allah’s (AJ) Way
That they motivate us, ‘You can do more, you can keep going. If you’re tired, you can struggle through it.’ They’re not kings like in dunya where they live such a posh an opulent life that they can’t relate to anything. How can you follow that example? But the immensity of their humility is that they’re the immense kings of paradise and eternity. When they came to this earth they sacrificed their entire being in which their body, their blood, their sweat all upon a field for the sake of Allah (AJ). Then we can motivate ourselves. That, ‘Ya Rabbi I want to be from Kawthari people. I want to drink from the Kawthar, I want to bathe from the Kawthar, I want my soul entirely within that ocean.’ “Wanhar” then Allah (AJ) remind for us, ‘Then live a life and sacrifice.’ If you live a life of sacrificing and that’s your time, your service, your ability then you’re drawing near on to that.
“Inna Shani-Aka Huwal Abtar” (108:3): “Inna shani-aka huwal abtar.” As a result of this Kawthar dressing you, Allah (AJ) will cut your enemies from being near you. It means this understanding of this verse was, it was to honor Prophet ﷺ and the enemies of Islam make a very bad interpretation. But what Allah (AJ) is saying that this Kawthar when it dresses you, those whom are coming after you will be completely cut. Because Allah (AJ) is supporting you. it means you may have many enemies but if you are Kawthari Allah (AJ) will fight you, Allah (AJ) will fight for you. That’s why Allah (AJ) says, ‘Don’t ever fight against My awliya, I will declare war against you.’
‘An Abi Hurairah (ra) Qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ: InAllaha Ta’ala qala: “Man ‘ada li waliyan faqda adhantahu bil harbi,…” (Hadith Qudsi, Sahih al Bukhari, Raqam: 6502)
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) that: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that: Allah the Almighty said: “I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a Wali (saint) of Mine…” [Holy Hadith – Authentic by al Bukhari 6502]
You cannot pray, you cannot fast, you can do any kind of bad you want, Allah (AJ) never says in Qur’an, ‘I’m going to declare war against you.’ But if you come against these Kawthari people, Allah (AJ) immediately steps forward says, ‘I will declare war against you.’ What’s the war of Allah (AJ) like? Something unimaginable. There is not a moment in your safety if Allah (AJ) has declared war against you. There is not a drop of protection, there is not a moment of safety or tranquility. You can do many wrongs and Allah (AJ) never use that expression. That’s the extent in which Allah (AJ) “Huwal Abtar” that, ‘For My Kawthari and those who I’m dressing from this reality, everything is cut from reaching to them. I will avenge them, I will defend them.’ That’s the ‘Azimat (Magnificence) of Allah (AJ) that completely supporting that reality.
Sacrifice Opens the Door to Kawthar
So this is the immensity of this month. That as we’re coming into this month ending and entering into the Eid, this is the month of Kawthar. This is the month in which Kawthar is dressing the souls of these whom “Wanhar.” That they gave their qurban, they came with ‘ishq and love and Allah’s (AJ) promise, ‘I’m cutting your enemies, I’m cutting these things that making difficulty to you. I’m cutting shaitan from reaching to you.’ That its gift is the Kawthar to dress the soul, to bless the soul. So then that Kawthar is at 108, right.
The Eternal Light of Kawthar and the Reality of Haqq (Truth)
Fa ilm e huroof (knowledge of letters) ha from hayat (ever-living) is 8. Qaf is hundred. So means that it carries the secret of Haqq. It has a dress from the ocean and the reality of Haqq because these are Allah’s (AJ) Haqq. When Allah (AJ) says, ‘The truth has come and falsehood is perishing and falsehood is zahooqan – is crumbling, it has nothing.’
17:81 – “Wa qul jaa alhaqqu wa zahaqal baatil, innal batila kana zahoqa.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed falsehood, [by its nature], is ever perishing/bound to perish.” (The Night Journey, 17:81)
Why? Because this Kawthar dress, this light of Haqq that dresses the servant because the haqqaiq is coming from all directions. Why 108? Because Allah (AJ) made in the kalaam a secret. That, that ha is an 8 and has an immense reality of eternity. The qaf of Qur’an is coming and dressing that and making Haqq. So Haqq’s elements are ha and qaf; Hayy and Qayyum. This has to do with the reality of light, the reality of the soul. All the immense dressings and blessings and with qaf and Qur’anil Majeed.
50:1 – “Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed.” (Surat Qaf)
“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an.” (The Letter Qaf, 50:
That this Qayyum and this eternal power, this eternal reality and the truth of Allah (AJ) is in the dress of 108 and Haqq and Kawthar. We’ll end here.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
