أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ. Madad ya Sayyidi ya Rasulul Kareem, Ya Habibul ‘Azeem, unzur halana wa ishfa’lana, ‘abidona bi madadikum wa nazarekum.

Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum. Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.

أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾‏ …

4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)

“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

Saintly People Don’t Seek Vengeance, But Turn Their Affairs to God

If you take retribution in your hand, there’s no credit with God because you took the action. It means three levels of debt. That if somebody wrongs you with a severe wrong, you have the right eye for eye; go and wrong them which is lowest. You have the second right, in English jurisprudence, compensation. Say, ‘You wronged me. You killed somebody and now I want the money for it’ which is a little bit better than taking the person’s eye out, but at the same time you still want something. But Allah (AJ) Divine teaches that the highest level is to turn your affair over to God. You’ve been wronged and you don’t want anything.

It means then the court of Divine Justice, you will be owed something because Allah (AJ) has to balance everything. This is the law of creation. So, then in the appearance of Divine Justice, there was a great wrong done so the scale is now huge wrong. So, the Divine comes and asks, ‘You want eye for eye?’ If you’re saintly, really saintly people, how could you say yes? What would be the purpose of your sainthood? The Prophet ﷺ came as a mercy to all creation.

﴾وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ﴿١٠٧

21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatal lil’alameen.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)

“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad (pbuh)], except as a mercy to the worlds/creation.” (The Prophets, 21:107)

72 is the Heavenly Reflection of the Worldly 27

Then, ‘You want like money for all your family, for all your descendants to always be rich?’ What they wanted, they asked, ‘If you’re asking us that we’re owed something, we’re asking to intercede for them and intercede for all nations that come. Grant us power of intercession. Because we are owed something by you and now we’re taking it to intercede’ because the action is high on the scale in Divinely Presence. So, that intercession that they have – 72 plus 1 of Imam Hussain (as) – they say those are the keys for our understanding of paradise. Because the 72, its mirror in world is 27. All our holy days are on 27. Isra wal Mi’raj (Night Journey and Ascension) is 27. Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) is the 27^th.

It means sab’ah wa ‘ishrun (27 in Arabic), that there’s a secret of the 2 and the 7. The 2 and the 7 in Surat al Qur’an is Surat An-Naml which is the secret of Sayyidina Sulaiman (as). Sulaiman’s (as) kingdom because Prophet ﷺ didn’t want to show himself. He showed the kingdom through the Prophet Sulaiman (as) and the kingdom of Sulaiman (as) had everything under his control, even the shayateen (devils), the malaika (angels), the jinn (unseen beings). Everything is under the mulk (earthly realm) and the kingdom of Sayyidina Sulaiman (as). He’s teaching, Prophet ﷺ teaching if that’s Sayyidina Sulaiman (as), imagine the kingdom of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. But has to do with the secret of 27.

The Ummah Will Break in 72 Groups (Holy Hadith)

It means since this reality on Earth is a mirror and a reflection of the heavens. Then the heavens, the reality is at 72. So, then Sayyidina Hussain (as) took 72 martyrs with him. He knew these are 72 locks. When you have a key, you have like little locks that go in and unlock. These 72 were precisely numbered. These were 72 intercessions and 1 which is the shaft, which is the base of all of them – Imam Hussain (as). Prophet ﷺ, to correlate with Hadith of Prophet ﷺ, Prophet ﷺ has a Hadith that, ‘On the last day, my nation breaks into 72 groups and only 1 is on the right’.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ  ﷺ قَالَ ‏:”‏ تَفَرَّقَتِ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِينَ أَوِ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً وَالنَّصَارَى. مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَتَفْتَرِقُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى ثَلاَثٍ وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً .‏ كُلَّهُمْ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةَ”، قَالُوا: مِنْ هِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ:” مَا أَنَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَصْحَابَي” جامع الترمذي ٢٦٤٠]

‘An Abi Hurairah (ra), anna RasulAllahi (s) qala: “tafarraqatil Yahudu ‘ala ehda wa wasab’yina awe ethnatayni wa sab’yina ferqatan wan Nasara. Methla zalika wa taftarequ ummati ‘ala thalathin wa sab’yina ferqatan. Kullahum fin nari illa wahidah.”
Qalo: man hiya ya RasulAllahi?
Qala: “Ma ana ‘alayhi wa ashabi.”

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) ‏that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “The Jewish split into seventy-one or seventy-two group/party, and the Christians. Similarly my Ummah will split into seventy-three groups/party. All of them are in fire, except one group.”
They said: “And which is it O Messenger of Allah?”
He said: “What I am upon and my companions.” [Jami’ at Tirmidhi 2640]

1 is the family means the shaft. They are the ones who uphold and keep the way of Prophet ﷺ and the 72. The 27 are interceding for all the nations that go astray; all the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ that went astray and deviated and innovated and made all of their different things.

Real Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah Keep the Way of Ulul Amr

But these are not what they understand of the family of Prophet ﷺ. It has nothing to do with the different labels that they’re using now in the world. They say that they are from the family of Prophet ﷺ. They follow the family of Prophet ﷺ, the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah (People of Prophetic Tradition and of the Majority), the real Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah. Alhamdulillah, there are people who say they’re Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah, but they don’t love the family of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The real Ahlus Sunnah (people of prophetic tradition) means they keep the real sunnah (traditions) of Prophet ﷺ. They keep the way of the Ulul Amr (saints), “Atiullah, atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum”.

﴾أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ… ﴿٥٩…

4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)

“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

That they are waiting for Sayyidina Mahdi (as). It means that reality and those realities, they are upholding the way of Prophet ﷺ and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That is what Imam Hussain (as) came and gave everyone the key of that paradise, by laying himself down and this is now the entryway into that reality. They are interceding for all, inshaAllah.

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
