Your Manners Define Your Faith
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum. Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾ …
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Strive to Reach the Eternal Hajj of Your Soul
Alhamdulillah, in this holy month of Dhul Qi’dah and our one year of moving and pilgrimage to the Divinely Presence, opening with Dhul Hajj. The first ten days of the next lunar month is the month of immense blessings that Allah (AJ) grant those whom are on a pilgrimage and eternal reality.
That’s why in Muharram, we make intention for hajj (pilgrimage) and the real hajj. One is the hajj where we go and the hajj in which our soul understands its reality and trying to reach towards an eternal hajj and to be from the eternal hujjaj (pilgrims) and those circumambulating the Divinely Presence in the presence of the great king of creation, Sayyidina Muhammad al Mustafa ﷺ.
Allah (AJ) Makes Creation Praise Upon You When You Seek Heavenly Knowledges
That Allah (AJ) grant us from that reality, bless us from that reality. That becomes a source of our eternal grace and that rahmah (mercy). For every knowledge that we know, it has an eternal dress upon us. The one whom seeks Divinely knowledges, they say that the angels, the beings – not a fish in the sea and not a creature on Earth – doesn’t pray for a servant whom is seeking Divinely knowledges. That it’s such a high path and high reality that Allah (AJ) made everything in creation to praise upon the servant whom seeks knowledges of their Lord.
So, there’s no greater honour than to seek Divinely knowledges and to sit in the association of Divinely knowledges. This is the sustenance of our soul. This is the sustenance of our eternity. What we achieve of these realities, we take with us eternally into whatever Allah (AJ) wants to open for the servant in His infinite eternal realities where no journey ever ends. Our life is a series of circles that our journey begins when we’re born. When we pass from this life, there is no death. There’s just a new existence. There is nothing that ends with Allah (AJ). Nothing ends with Allah (AJ).
Every Divine Reality Exists Within the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
It means the one whom seeks their Divinely grace and Divinely kingdom, there is no ending. It’s just a new beginning and a new reality, eternal reality. One whom strives for Divinely knowledges and Divinely grace, these are majestic lights and majestic beauties for our eternal journey. Only the greatness of Allah (AJ) understands and knows what’s in store for the servant whom seeks those rewards and what Allah (AJ) will eternally open for servants.
So, there can be no greater cause in life than to seek Divinely knowledges. The highest of Divinely knowledges are the Muhammadan truths and the Muhammadan truths that explain all of the prophets, all of the holy books, and all realities. Every Divinely reality exists within that treasure box – the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Holy Qur’an is Revealed Through Prophet’s ﷺ Divinely Heart
The same and the very box or qalb (heart) or vehicle in which Allah (AJ) will be known means how Allah (AJ) made the qalb and the heart of Prophet ﷺ in the world of light to be so blessed that Allah (AJ) reveals His Holy Qur’an through that Divinely heart.
So, the immensity of that secret, the immensity of its purity, the immensity of its lights can’t be understood because we don’t understand the greatness of Allah (AJ). But when we get a slight and small taste of that reality, we realize that what treasures lie in store for the servant who seeks these Divinely treasures and knows the location of those Divinely treasures – has been revealed by awliyaullah (saints) as the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Our Good Character Defines Our Proximity to Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Grace
So, everything in our life is to achieve those treasures, our good deeds, our good actions, and most of all, our good characteristics. Our good character enables us the proximity to Allah’s (AJ) Divinely grace. Where we fall short of any action or any understanding, the good character is the blessing that dresses everything. In a system which doesn’t rely upon having to know everything, awliya (saints) come into our lives and teach that it’s just your good character that will excuse you into everything.
Look at Your Character Flaws, Not Your Pronounciation
If you didn’t know a particular thing, you didn’t recite something correctly, your pronunciation was wrong, you missed this, you missed that; all of those dunya (material world) type of people that want everything to be meticulously correct, but the most correct has to be the character.
For Allah (AJ) is not in need of the count, the recitation, the words, nothing. What Allah (AJ) is giving, Divinely grace is giving, is based on character. That they don’t say it right, the numbers were not correct, whatever the faults are, but Allah (AJ) looks to the character, say the kholoq (character). Say, ‘This servant’s kholoq is beatific. Fill where their gaps were. Correct where their incorrections were’.
Your Good Character Can Place You in Unimaginable Realities
This becomes the way of turuqs (spiritual paths). That’s why the tariqahs, the paths, the ones who lay down the path to the heart and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, they’re all paved by teaching manners. Because they didn’t need people to be able to achieve everything precisely, exactly, pronounce everything correctly. All they needed was to pave the path based on good manners and good character.
As a result of good manners and good character, Allah (AJ) can lift His servant and take them from A to Z within a blink of an eye. They end up in a place, in a station, in a reality that they could have never imagined.
Our Good Character Outweighs Our Cleverness and and Worshipness
They know that it’s not from their cleverness. They know it’s not because they were astoundingly fasting immense, they prayed immensely, they did all this ‘ibadah and worshipness as a immense servant, but that they had good character.
Awliya (saints) described like an angel will come to lift them from one shore to the Divinely shores of Divinely grace and rahmah (mercy). We pray that Allah (AJ) grant us this understanding of the good manners and good character, and trying to cleanse oneself of ourself and to bring this light and this compassion within our heart and soul, and to achieve Allah’s (AJ) satisfaction, His rida, His grace, His majesty and support so that we can reach to these realities, inshaAllah.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
