أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ٱلْرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ. Madad ya Sayyidi ya Rasulul Kareem, Ya Habibul ‘Azeem, unzur halana wa ishfa’lana, ‘abidona bi madadikum wa nazarekum.

Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum. Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.

أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾‏ …

4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)

“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

Shaitan is Aggressively Coming After Insan (Mankind)

If we understood truly how fragile our life is! How much shaitan (satan) wants to destroy us, how much shaitan is coming after the family, coming after the children, coming after everyone. If we knew that we were hunted, we would have an immense love for Allah (AJ). But shaitan make us to be heedless. That, ‘No, everything is okay Shaykh. Don’t worry.’ So no it is not okay. That mankind are being hunted now.

Turn on the news; two thousand children go missing in a city. They say, ‘We don’t know what happened to them.’ Oh, you don’t know what happened to them? Another place of fire, three thousand children go missing. So means shaitan is aggressively coming after insan and he comes after even more those whom have faith in their heart. Those who are already servants of his, he already has them as his students. What he wants is the faith of the believer and the light within their heart to diminish it.

Praise Allah (AJ) for His Protection

It means if we understood the immensity of the danger that we face, we would have an immense love for Allah (AJ). That all day long praising Allah (AJ), asking Allah (AJ) for forgiveness. That, ‘Ya Rabbi shukr, alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah that You’re saving me and that I’m being protected. InshaAllah my family being protected, my children and my grandchildren to be protected.’

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَالشُّكْرُ لِلَّهِ

“Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah”

“All praise is (due) to Allah (AJ) and all thanks be to Allah (AJ)”

Shaykhs are Not Heedless But People are in an Ignorance

Then the shaykhs pray that their communities to be protected and everything because they’re not heedless. That Allah (AJ) opened their heart through their spiritual practices and training. As a result of not being heedless, they inherit what Prophet ﷺ taught, ‘If you knew what I knew, you would cry more than laughing. If you knew what I knew you would cry more than laugh.’

Because mankind is in an ignorance because of the phone they have. The social media they have everything looks beatific. One by one somebody is being taken. The collective whole doesn’t know what happened to the one on the right and one on the left. But Allah (AJ) sends servants whom they’re not heedless and they know that insan has a target upon his head. Allah (AJ) dispatches them into dunya (material world) that, ‘Go and teach them and train them how to be under My protection,’ right!

Understand the Reality of “A’uzu” (Protection) – Believers Seek Refuge Only in Allah (AJ)

Many people speak from “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” and all the knowledges. But in reality none of those knowledges have a weight and a value if we don’t understand the “A’uzu Billah.” Now more than ever they want to offer you something for safety – they want to give you this, they want to give you that. Every shaitan makes a cave that, ‘Come to my cave and you’ll be safe.’

But what Allah (AJ) asked from us is you’re not going to fight these devils. Believers don’t fight the devil. He seeks refuge in Allah (AJ) from the devil. “A’uzu Billahi Minash shaitanir Rajeem” and our whole life is to understand what is this “A’uzu Billahi Minash shaitanir Rajeem?” Where am I going to go that shaitan is not going to be there, not going to be attacking, not going to be destroying? Where do I go that’s safe for me?

What is The Safety Allah (AJ) has Provided?

Awliyaullah (saints) come into our lives and say, ‘It is very simple. The only safety that Allah (AJ) has provided is hadrat an Nabi ﷺ (presence of Prophet ﷺ),’ right? The presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is, Allah (AJ) is with Prophet ﷺ. That if we want to seek refuge and we want to escape the grip of shaitan, who shaitan doesn’t have a hold with and whom shaitan is fearing? It is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

Don’t Run Away from the Allah’s (AJ) Safety – Presence of Prophet ﷺ

The nation seems to want to run away from that reality. They run away from the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and then they think they have an access to Allah (AJ). But the kalimah (testimony) says, “La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ”.

لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌا رَسُولْ الله

“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah”

“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

You don’t reach without “La ilaha illAllah” going through the door of “Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.” That is the secret. Awliya (saints) come and teach – this is the key of a’uzu. It is, in your life make sure that you’re in the presence and company of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Because Allah (AJ) said, ‘I’m with Nabiyeen (Prophets (as))’ – most important. Siddiqeen (Truthful), shuhada (witnesses) wa saliheen (righteous), they’re all following Nabiyeen.

(٦٩) وَمَن يُطِعِ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاء وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا

4:69 – “Wa man yuti’ Allaha war Rasola faolayeka ma’al ladheena an’ama Allahu ‘alayhim minan Nabiyeena, was Siddiqeena, wash Shuhadayi, was Saliheena wa hasuna olayeka rafeeqan.” (Surat An-Nisa)

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger (pbuh) are in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His Favours/Blessings – of the Prophets, the sincere Truthful, the Martyrs/Witnesses to the truth (who testify), and the Righteous, and excellent are those as companions.” (The Women, 4:69)

Keep the Hudur (Presence) of Prophet ﷺ by Love – You’ll Be with Whom You Love

So it means the first and most important door is the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So they come into our life and say: well then how are you going to achieve that? How are you going to keep the hudur and the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ? By love. Hadith of Nabi Prophet ﷺ, ‘You’ll be with whom you love.’

عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: … فَقَالَ (رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ): ” أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ.”
[اَلْمَصْدَرْ: مُسْلِمْ:. ٧٥٢٠ ]

‘An Anasin (ra): … Faqala (Rasulullahi) ﷺ:* “Anta ma’a man ahbabta.”*

Narrated Anas ibn Malik (ra) that …the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “You will be with whom you love.” [Source: Muslim 7520]

Prophet ﷺ Made the Key of Safety Very Simple

Very simple key. He ﷺ didn’t make it complicated. You don’t have to jump through any hoops. Prophet ﷺ came and said, ‘You’ll be with whom you love.’ If you love criminals, you’ll be with criminals. You love gangsters, you’ll be with gangsters. If you love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, you’ll be with Allah (AJ). That’s the key for us.

Dajjal (Man of Deceit) Wants to Take the Key Away

In the last days dajjal is coming and taking that key away. He knows the key. He wants to bring everybody to La ilaha illAllah and forget this Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. He knows this is the key of power, this is a key of protection. Awliyaullah come onto this earth and dispense all around the earth ‘ishq e Muhammad ﷺ (love of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ).

That, keep the love of Prophet ﷺ. How? Make salawat (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and Durood Sharif (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). When you don’t feel good, make salawat. When your rizq (sustenance) is short make salawat on Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. When you’re feeling sick or you have difficulty at home make your salawat. Play the salawat into the house so that you and your children will have the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

One Salawat Brings Back Ten Salawats from Prophet ﷺ

What happens then? Prophet ﷺ came and promised that, ‘Every time you make one salawat upon me, Allah (AJ) allows my soul to come and make ten salawat upon you.’ So meaning what? That you can keep hadrat an Nabi ﷺ.

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَال رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ:” مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً وَاحِدَةً، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ، وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ، وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ “

Qala Rasulullah (saws): “Man Salla `alaiya Salatan wahidatan, Sallallahu `alayhi `ashra Salawatin, wa Huttat `anhu `ashru khaTeatin, wa ruf`at lahu `ashru darajatin.”

Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Whoever sends blessings [Praises] upon me, God will shower His blessings upon him ten times, and will erase ten of his sins, and elevate [raise] his [spiritual] station ten times.” [Hadith recorded by Nasa’i]

Keep Yourself Busy with Durood Sharif

Keep yourself busy with Durood Sharif and Prophet’s ﷺ nur (light) is busy accompanying you; step by step. So it means if you’re making salawat sharif and Prophet’s ﷺ light is continuously praising back upon you, you’re keeping the companionship of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. As a result, what Allah (AJ) gave in Holy Qur’an? ‘How can I punish them when they’re asking for forgiveness and that you are present with them?’ Right?

(٣٣) وَمَا كَانَ اللَّـهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّـهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

8:33 – “Wa maa kaanal laahu liyu’az zibahum wa anta feehim; wa maa kaanal laahu mu’az zibahum wa hum yastaghfiroon” (Surat Al-Anfal)

“And Allah would not punish them and (while) you (Muhammad ﷺ ) are amongst them, and Allah (AJ) would not punish them (while) they seek forgiveness.” (The Spoils of War, 8:33)

The Presence of Prophet ﷺ is a Protection from God’s Anger and Punishment

Because if Allah (AJ) is angry with us and He allows these shaitans to eat us and come after us, is from Allah’s (AJ) anger. What Allah (AJ) gave to the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ? ‘How I’m going to punish them when they’re asking istighfar (seeking forgiveness) and that you are with them?’ (Holy Qur’an, 8:33). How is Prophet ﷺ with us? With our Durood Sharif and good character.

‘Amal (Action) Without Good Character is Worthless

Others want to say, ‘Oh it is your ‘amal.’ Your ‘amal is worth garbage if you have bad character. Allah (AJ) doesn’t need your salah (daily prayer), Allah (AJ) definitely doesn’t need your zakah (charity). Allah (AJ) doesn’t need your Jum’ah (Friday prayer) and your Hajj (pilgrimage) and anything else you’re doing if the khuluq and the character is not good.

Companionship Changes the Character – Salawat Makes the Heart Sweet

But one whom walks with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, what is his character now? You walk alone, shaitan is with you. Yell at that person, call this person a kafir, do like this. Because this is shaitan – is with you. If you’re in companionship with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, all awliyaullah would say that what? When you make Durood Sharif, your tongue becomes sweet. How can it not be? That the salawat upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is making your heart to be sweet! Your khuluq and character becomes sweet. Hadrat an Nabi ﷺ is with you.

The Realities of the Light of Prophet ﷺ – “Shahidan, Mubashshiran wa Nazeeran”

What Allah (AJ) says? “Shahidan, Mubashshiran wa Nazeeran” that presence.

(٤٥) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

33:45 – “Ya ayyuhan Nabiyu inna arsalnaka Shahidan wa Mubashshiran wa Nazeera.” (Surat Al-Ahzab)

“O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a Witness and a Bearer of Glad Tidings and a Warner.” (The Combined Forces, 33:45)

- “Shahidan” – that he ﷺ is with you, he ﷺ is witnesses you. You’re making salawat, he ﷺ is looking upon your character. Say, ‘Why are you yelling? Why are you screaming? Why are you trying to hurt somebody?’ Their character changes out of their shyness and embarrassment not to lose the presence of Prophet ﷺ.
- “Mubashshiran”– if that light is with you. You still don’t know even the realities of the light of Prophet ﷺ. What happens? What type of lights are thrown upon your soul when Prophet ﷺ is giving salawat upon you. Praising upon you, thanking Allah (AJ) for such a beatific nation.
- The last was what? “Nazeeran” – Because this light and this blessing coming it takes you from bad to good.

Follow Prophet ﷺ and Allah (AJ) will Love You

So, then imagine then the majlis (association) that is only for the purpose of that love. That three days a week we have majlis of salli alan Nabi ﷺ. Why? To build the love for people that you have to have the love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. You have to do your Durood Sharif, you have to improve your characteristics. Then what you gain – you gain the love of Allah (AJ). “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’uni.”

(٣١) …قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللَّـهَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِيْ يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّـهُ

3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’uni, yuhbibkumullahu…” (Surat Ali-Imran)

“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you …” (Family of Imran, 3:31)

Believer Sees with Allah’s (AJ) Light and Shaitan is Scared of That Light

When you passed “fattabi’uni” correct with good manners, good character, “yuhbibkumullah.” One whom Allah (AJ) loves, shaitan is scared of him. Why? Because Prophet ﷺ described, ‘Be careful for the eyes of the believer because he looks with the light of Allah (AJ).’ You think the eyes and the light that come from their eyes shaitan can handle that?

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِي رَضِّيَّ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ :” اتَّقُوا فِرَاسَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَنْظُرُ بِنُورِ اللَّهِ. ” [اَلتِّرْمِذِي، كتاب ٤٧، حديث ٣٤١٩]

‘An Abi Sa’yidel Khudriyi (ra) qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ:“Ittaqoo Firasatal Mu’min, Fa Innahu yanzoro Bi Nurillah…” [At Tirmidhi, Kitab 47, Hadith 3419]

Narrated by Sa’yidel Khudri (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Beware/be conscious of the spiritual vision of the true believer, for indeed he sees with Allah’s divinely Light.” [At Tirmidhi, Book 47, Hadith #3419]

Importance of Voluntary Majlis and Halaqas (Circles) of Love

Hadith al Qudsi (Holy Hadith) Allah (AJ) describes these servants who they fulfilled their wajib (mandatory) but they do voluntary acts. Most people are very happy they went for Jum’ah. Say, ‘What’s your Islam?’ ‘Jum’ah.’ That’s it! That’s it? You did only what was wajib? No, but when you have voluntary majlis and you have halaqas for love and you do charitable deeds for love. What Allah (AJ) grants from Hadith al Qudsi: ‘I’m going to be the seeing in which you see.’ Hadith al Qudsi. ‘I’m going to be the hearing in which you hear.’ So now tell me then if Allah (AJ) is saying, ‘I’m going to be your seeing,’ can you tell me I can’t see into the heavens or Allah’s (AJ) power is limited?

Or they can see straight into your heart and think what you’re thinking. You think that you’re sealed or you’re hidden from something? Allah (AJ) saying, ‘I become the servant’s seeing.’ What will he see from Allah’s (AJ) powers! Then Allah (AJ) describes in Hadith, ‘I become the servants hearing.’ What will he hear with his hearing? Can he hear the whispers within the hearts of people? It is something hard? Can he hear Prophet ﷺ into the seven paradises? Allah’s (AJ) hearing – there is no limitation on that reality. ‘I become the hands in which that servant moves,’ means what? The hand has yadullah (Hand of Allah (AJ)). Allah’s (AJ) Power and Authority in their hand.

عَنْ أَبِيِ هُرَيْرَةِ رَضِّيَّ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَىٰ قَالَ:” …وَمَا تَقَرُّبِ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِيِ بِشَيْءٍ أَحُبَّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا اِفْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ. وَلَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَقَرَّبُ إلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ، فَإِذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتَ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ، وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ، وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطِشُ بِهَا، وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي بِهَا. وَلَئِنْ سَأَلَنِي لَأُعْطِيَنَّهُ، … “ [حَدِيثْ اَلْقُدْسِي – اَلمَصْدَرْ: صَحِيحْ الْبُخَارِي – رقم:٦٥٠٢]

‘An Abi Hurairah (ra) qala, Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ : InnAllaha ta’ala qala: “ Wa maa taqarrubi ilayya ‘abdi be shayin ahubba ilayya memma iftaradhtu ‘alayhi. Wa la yazaalu ‘abdi yataqarrabu ilayya binnawafile hatta uhebbahu, fa iza ahbabtuhu kunta Sam’ahul lazi yasma’u behi, wa Basarahul lazi yubsiru behi, wa Yadahul lati yabteshu beha, wa Rejlahul lati yamshi beha. Wa la in sa alani la a’teyannahu, …” [Hadith al Qudsi, Sahih al Bukhari, Raqam: 6502)

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) that: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that: Allah the Almighty said: “… My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts of worship so that I shall love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask (something) of Me, I would surely give it to him, …” [Holy Hadith, Authentic by al-Bukhari, # 6502]

Shaitan Doesn’t Want Rijalullah (Men of God)

That’s why shaitan is scared of them. He doesn’t want these rijal (people of maturity). He doesn’t want the men to become rijalullah . He doesn’t want them to become awliyaullah. He want to put a dress on them, easier to slaughter that way. But not Prophet ﷺ. He comes to teach us that simple tasbih (prayer beads) of yours, that Durood that you make, the salawat that you make. Imagine all that can be opened of immensity where Allah (AJ) become your hearing. A hearing that in your grave it never ends. Doesn’t become your eyes, ‘I become your hearing for all of eternity. I become your seeing for all of eternity. I’ll become the tongue in which you speak for all of eternity. I become the hands in which you touch.’

Allah’s (AJ) power and qudra upon the hand. The hand of Prophet ﷺ upon that hand. ‘I become your qadam and the feet in which you move. So much so you become Rabbaniyoon (lordly soul) and what? “Kun faya koon” – you have power of kun faya koon.’

(٨٢) إِنَّمَا أَمْرُ‌هُ إِذَا أَرَ‌ادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ

36:82 – “Innama AmruHu idha Arada shay an, an yaqola lahu kun faya koon.” (Surat YaSeen)

“His Command is when He Wills/Intends a thing, He says to it, “Be,” and it is!” (YaSeen, 36:82)

Muhammadan Nation is the Most Powerful Nation

So you don’t think shaitan is worried about that Hadith? You think it is random that he is doing this to people? Trying to destroy people, trying to destroy the population, trying to destroy Islam. He is scared of this Hadith. He knows the Muhammadan nation is the most powerful nation. If they wake up, they can flip the earth upside down.

We pray that Allah (AJ) grant us from this year the immense light and love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. In every heart and in every home and in every location Mawlidun Nabi ﷺ (celebration of the birthday of Prophet ﷺ) all the time. Let your children to hear it and see it all the time. It is a protection for them. It is a protection for the family and communities.

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
