I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Trust Was Given to Imam Ali (as) to Call His Grandson, Sayyidina Mahdi (as)

Their hand, all in the hand of Imam Ali (as), Asadullahi Ghalib (The Victorious Lion of Allah), the grandfather of Imam Mahdi (as). And that to prepare for the arrival of Sayyidina Mahdi (as), there is no one that can hold the trust. And that trust from Sultanul Awliya (King of Saints), not the minor trust of other tariqahs (spiritual paths), but the trust in which the Sultanul Awliya is holding was given to Imam Ali (as) to call for the arrival to give to his grandson, Sayyidina Mahdi (as).

It’s the essential part of the deen (religion) to have that love and that respect. That if you want to be with Sayyidina Mahdi (as), then you best develop a love for Imam Ali (as). That his nazar (gaze) be upon us, his swords to be protecting us, and that his faith and iman to be dressing within the heart of the believer. A drop of that faith is enough to move mountains.

Laylatul Bara’ah – Allah (AJ) Writes Destinies Upon the Souls for the Spiritual New Year

InshaAllah, Allah (AJ) dress us in this holy month of Sha’ban that’s opening. Sha’ban, the blessed month of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and the 15^th, Laylatul Bara’ah, Shabe Barat, is the spiritual new year. The night in which Allah (AJ) writes the destinies upon the souls for the coming year.

We pray that Allah (AJ) gives us a life in which to see that night and good character and good actions in which to receive that night. And that Allah (AJ) dress us from Ahbab Nabi ﷺ, the lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (Holy family of Prophet ﷺ), the lovers of Ashab Nabi ﷺ (Holy Companions of Prophet ﷺ), lovers of awliyaullah (saints) fi samawati wa fil ard (within the heavens and earth). And that to count us among those ‘ashiqeen (lovers), ya Rabbi, increase that love. If You are going to write with Your Divinely Hand, just write a little bit more that we are going to be even more ‘ashiqeen, more lost in that love; for only that love will save us from these difficulties. That love is what connects us. You never know that when you talk, what people are understanding. That’s why Prophet ﷺ taught to keep repeating, keep repeating.

The Reality of Rajab is the Essence of Atiullah

We said last night that the Mi’raj (ascension) is very simple, just to enter into the heart of Prophet ﷺ. And that from the essence is “Atiullah” which is the reality of Rajab. Rajab – Subhana man huwal Khaliq anNur is a light that Allah (AJ) wanted to manifest this light, ‘I was a hidden treasure wanting to be known.’

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ الْخَالِقَ النُّورْ

“Subhana man huwal Khaliq anNur.”

“Glory to Him who is the Creator, the Light.”

and

كُنْت كَنْزاً مخفيا فَأَحْبَبْت أَنْ أُعْرَفَ؛ فَخَلَقْت خَلْقاً فَعَرَّفْتهمْ بِي فَعَرَفُونِي

“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” (Hadith Qudsi)

“Allah (AJ) said, ‘I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.’”

Atiur Rasul and ‘Ulil Amre Minkum are the Realities of Sha’ban and Ramadan

“Atiur Rasul” is to obey and to follow the Messenger of Allah (AJ). And that’s all the messengers, doesn’t matter what religion someone’s following; Allah’s (AJ) order was follow your prophet (as). That they are the guides and the example of that reality. And so “Atiur Rasul” is the reality of Sha’ban and “’Ulil amre minkum” is Ramadan, that everything is going to manifest.

﴾ياأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ…﴿٥٩

4:59 – “Ya ayyu hal latheena amanoo Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)

“O You who have believed, Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

Enter Through the Correct Door to Approach the Divinely Essence Within the Room

This means this secret of light of Rajab, Allah (AJ) gave it and deposited into the reality of the soul of Prophet ﷺ. For a soul to manifest, that all creation will be coming from your soul, that it cannot come from Allah (AJ). There is no partnership with God. So, it’s called Universal Soul. There is a soul in which all lights, all creation manifesting from that reality and that we are its manifestation.

By Ramadan, that reality is manifesting. And the easiest way to enter into that reality, so then they describe it as the essence of Allah (AJ). The presence, there’s a room for us to understand, in that room is a presence and that room has a door where Allah (AJ) says, ‘Enter in the home through the correct door.’ Whose home? Your home? Why Allah (AJ) cares if people come from your front door or from your back window?

﴾وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَن تَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـٰكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴿١٨٩…

2:189 – “…Wa laysal birru bi-an tatol buyoota min zuhooriha wa lakinnal birra manit taqa, wa’ tol buyoota min abwabiha, wat taqollaha la’allakum tuflihoon.” (Surat Al-Baqarah)

“…And it is not righteousness to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is [in] one who fears Allah. And enter houses from their doors. And be Conscious of Allah that you may succeed.” (The Cow, 2:189)

Ulul Amr are the Doors to the Heart of Prophet ﷺ

But Allah’s (AJ) home, which is what? “Qalb al mu’min baitullah.”

قَلْبَ الْمُؤْمِنْ بَيْتُ الرَّبْ

“Qalb al mu’min baytur rabb.”

“The heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.” (Hadith Qudsi)

So, Allah (AJ) directing, ‘From My home, come to the correct door because in My home is the Divinely presence.’ So, the “Qalb al mu’min baitullah,” so then the house is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, is the heart, is Prophet ﷺ. The essence and reality inside the heart is Allah’s (AJ) lights, Divinely Presence, Divinely blessings. The door are the “Wa ‘Ulil amre minkum,” those whom are of the muhabbat and love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. They are the doors to the heart of Prophet ﷺ.

‘Ashiqeen are the Face Who Present Your Soul into the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

It means if we come to the door of the heart of Prophet ﷺ, as soon as you come to them with love, you come to them with character, good character, their face will bring you in. They don’t need your ‘amal (deeds). They don’t need anything from you. Because it is very logical, it’s not something complicated.

When Allah (AJ) builds one of them, makes them to be extreme ‘ashiqeen, so much in love with Prophet ﷺ, that their entire being is filled with the love, and everything they do is then related to Hub e Rasul ﷺ, the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The propagation of the love of Prophet ﷺ; every word is about the love of Prophet ﷺ because everything within them is from that reality. As a result, their face goes out to the world that if you look at their face, their face will grab your light and grab your soul and you will be present with whom you love.

Fire heart with name of Muhammad,Heart of fire,Love of Muhammad قَالَ رَسُول اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم: الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَب

Qala Rasulullah (saws): “Almar o, ma’a man ahab.”

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “One is with those whom he loves.”

Ahbab an Nabi ﷺ Cleanse Your Character to Be Brought in Prophet’s ﷺ Presence

So because they are ‘ashiqeen, they are present with Prophet ﷺ at all times. Their arwah (soul) is filled with the love. That Prophet ﷺ gave them the title, ‘These are my ahbab. These are my lovers. When you look at them, their light from their face will grab your soul and bring into their presence.’ We said before, we were talking in the room, they say, ‘Is it complicated, Shaykh? Does somebody lift somebody and take them and put them somewhere?’ Say, no this is complete autopilot because the soul is locked with whom it loves. It merely looks at you, pulls the light from you, puts it upon them and their soul is already with whom they love, in an instant, in an instant. It’s not something difficult.

And you think that when they are taking your light into that presence that you are not being cleaned? That could they take something dirty into the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ? It’s impossible! They clean, they wash, they purify all the character and they present.

And in that room, in that reality, Prophet ﷺ takes their light, bless their light and takes to the presence of Allah (AJ) and dresses them and blesses them from that reality. So, it means these nights and these realities and all that their teachings is of good character.

You Don’t Reach This Reality By Your ‘Amal

If you think, ‘Okay, how many zikrs (Divine remembrance) I got to do? When I got to pray exactly? How many rakahs (cycles of prayer) I got to pray? When I’m going to do like this? I got to do like this.’ They can see your sickness. They see that you think your ‘amal will raise you. You can pray 10,000 years and you’ll get nowhere in this reality. This is not a reality you achieve by your salah (prayer). This is not something you achieve by your zakah (charity). This is not something that you achieve by going for Hajj (pilgrimage). This is a ni’mat (blessing) and a gift from Allah (AJ). Whom Allah (AJ) guided and granted a light Allah (AJ) granted, and no one can take it away and no one can deny it. Allah (AJ) gives what He wants to give.

﴾وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّـهُ لَهُ نُورًا فَمَا لَهُ مِن نُّورٍ ۗ ﴿٤٠…

24:40 – “… wa mal lam yaj’a lillahu lahu noora famaa lahu min noor” (Surat An-Nur)

“…And he to whom Allah has not granted light – for him there is no light.” (The Light, 24:40)

Nazar of Awliya Can Pull You into Divinely Presence

This gift of hidayat and guidance is what Allah (AJ) wanted for the nation. That when you accompany them, they will uplift you into the presence of whom they love. And whom they love is whom Allah (AJ) loves and with one instance of a nazar (gaze), they can pull into that presence. So, when they hear that you think that your ‘amal will raise, that your prayers will raise you, that your zikr will raise you, no, no. You do that because Allah (AJ) ordered you to do it.

But if you are a beginner, you don’t understand. You think it’s all your actions are going to get you somewhere. Someone advanced shouldn’t be thinking like that. That they think that their salah are going to do something, that their zakah are going to do something, that their prayers are going to do something, especially in their presence.

Keep the Company of Those Loved By Prophet ﷺ and Allah (AJ)

What do you think you are going to get with that? That you’re going to uplift yourself, that you’re going to pray in such an amazing way that God going is to amazed, ‘Oh my God, give this person a Mi’raj right now.’ [Laughter]. We live in this world. This is all based on love. Keep the company of those whom Allah (AJ) loves and that Prophet ﷺ loves because they love them and they love them, “Minni wa minhum.” That that light from them and My light from them means you won’t be able to differentiate that love. They are the reflection of the one whom you love and Prophet’s ﷺ reflection upon them. That’s why you love them. That’s why people are attracted to them. That’s why people want to accompany them. They are the reflection of that reality.

Pray That Your Sincere Love Saves You

So, when we took a path of negation, we negated at every moment, ‘I’m nothing, ya Rabbi, my prayers are nothing. My zikr is nothing. My awrads (daily practices) are nothing. I’m just doing them for the sake of imitating, imitating. But what I’m really doing is I am sitting here with love, ya Rabbi. I know that my love will save everything. My love will bring me. These guys pray a lot, I can’t pray like that. They do the zikrs in ten of thousands, I can’t do like that. They give in tens of thousands, I can’t give like that.’

They negated themselves, ‘How am I going to do anything that would impress you, ya Rabbi? I’ll sit here and just imitate. “Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah” [Shaykh imitates chanting]. But let my love save me.’ If Allah (AJ) finds sincerity that that servant really believes they’re not going to be able to make it with their actions. And they’re sitting there with their bags packed just out of love. In an instant, inayatullah comes like a flash of light upon their soul, immediately hit and lift them up. It’s faster than the speed of thought. This is not something you climb and achieve and get into.

Strive to Negate Yourself to Impress Allah (AJ), Not Others

All that is needed is Allah (AJ) finds sincerity in the servant. That they have sincerely negated themselves. They never show themselves in front of people. They don’t pray excessively to impress people. You should be impressing Allah (AJ), not people. We are not those people to want to be known that we are praying, ‘Oh my God, look how long he prays.’

Even people come to accompany the shaykh to see that, ‘I wonder what the shaykh…does he like pray all night long?’ Then they watch and say, ‘No, he doesn’t.’ Say, ‘I wonder what the Shaykh is eating; does he like super spiritual foods?’ They say ‘No, he ordered kebab.’ ‘Does he have like super energy drinks?’ They say ‘No, he’s only got a soda.’ It’s not that. It’s nothing from the physical. This is just Allah’s (AJ) grant.

That’s why we are reciting all these na’ats (Prophetic praisings). This is Allah’s (AJ) love. Their love was accepted. Their negation was accepted. They negated themselves with sincerity that, ‘Wallahi, ya Rabbi, I’m nothing. Ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl. And if not by Your grace, I would have been in jahannum (hellfire).’ I know that at every moment in my life, it’s Allah’s (AJ) rahmah (mercy) and grace that’s saving me.

Prophet ﷺ Blesses, Purifies, and Teaches Us

And Allah (AJ) says, ‘If that’s truly what you believe, in a moment, I send a light upon you and lift you in a second with that light. And you’ll be with whom you love.’ When the inayat comes and the light comes and they take you to the presence of who you love, can you ever be taken away from that?

Who you love is so great and so powerful and so blessed and so amazing. But how could you ever be lost from that love of Prophet ﷺ? Nothing! If Allah (AJ) grants, that light is taken and move immediately into the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Prophet ﷺ then takes and cleans and purifies that light, blesses that light. And that’s why Allah (AJ) describes that Prophet ﷺ, ‘Hudan, he is a guide. He cleans you, bless you, wash you, purify you, teach you that which you knew not.’

﴾كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًا مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿١٥١

2:151 – “Kama arsalna feekum Rasulan minkum yatlo ‘Alaykum ayatina wa yuzakkeekum wa yu’Allimukumul kitaba walhikmata wa yu’Allimukum ma lam takono ta’Alamon.” (Surat Al-Baqarah)

“Just as We have sent among (within) you a messenger of your own, reciting to you Our Signs, and purifying you, and teaching you the Book/Scripture (Quran) and Wisdom, and teaching you New Knowledge, that which you did not know.” (The Cow, 2:151)

Sit With Those Who are on Mi’raj at Every Moment

This means the entire light of Prophet’s ﷺ entire nazar become upon your light and make your light to be Muhammadiyun and wherever you go, you are the reflection of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ upon this Earth. If you sit with them, at every moment they are on a Mi’raj.

At every moment, they are in a new tajalli (manifestation) moving as, as Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is in continuous Mi’raj to Allah (AJ); not the one only far away but he could be right in front of your nose. You never know whom Allah (AJ) gave that reality to, but 124,000 must be on this Earth at all times and they reflect that light.

Accompany the People of Qadir to Be Dressed From Their Mi’raj

To sit with them, you’ll be dressed from a Mi’raj. To eat with them, you’ll be dressed from the Mi’raj. To pray with them – that when you negate who you are and that your importance of your salah (prayer), you’ll be dressed from their salah and from their reality. And these are the people of Qadir (The Powerful).

They’re in a continuous Mi’raj and we described before that what Prophet ﷺ achieved because, “Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum.”

﴾ياأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ…﴿٥٩

4:59 – “Ya ayyu hal latheena amanoo Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)

“O You who have believed, Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

Hidden Treasure of Rajab Will Be Known in Sha’ban

What Prophet ﷺ achieved of the Mi’raj when he went back to his Creator was Rajab. It means that 27, its secret; Sha’ban is 72 – 9 x 8, because when he went into the kingdom, Sha’ban is the kingdom of Allah (AJ), is the kingdom of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So, Rajab is the essence of the light, the Mi’raj is when Prophet ﷺ moves into that reality, dressed from the heavenly kingdom. Then the blessings of Sha’ban is now that is the kingdom of Allah (AJ). The kingdom of Allah (AJ) is Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ light.

Immense Blessings Manifest in Ramadan by Fasting for Allah (AJ)

Those lights and those blessings, Allah (AJ) wants to give to everybody and then determines ‘Fast in Ramadan.’ We said before why are you fasting? Is there a scholar that can answer why is it fasting? ‘Allah (AJ) wants to make you read your Qur’an.’ Really? That’s it? It could have been ordered at any time. The reality and haqqaiq of the sawm and the fast was Allah (AJ) wants to dress the nation from these realities. And they’re not going to achieve that reality with their action.

But the only action that has the greatest reward is actually fasting for God. When you fast, Allah (AJ) dress you with what an angel or prophet doesn’t know. It means Allah (AJ) is not limited by any rule. So, He wants to give the dress of the Mi’raj. He wants to give the dress to Ummat e Muhammad ﷺ (Nation of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). ‘Then make your nation to fast in Ramadan so all of the manifestations of the Mi’raj and the kingdom of Allah (AJ) to be dressed upon their soul, blessed upon their soul.’

Laylatul Qadr is the Continuous Dress of the Mi’raj of Prophet ﷺ

This huge ni’mat (blessing) and Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) is then the dress of the Mi’raj. When the nation sits for Laylatul Qadr and observe the nights of power, they’re taking from the dress of the Isra wal Mi’raj (Night Journey and Ascension). That is an eternal dress, not one time; continuous Mi’raj into Divinely presence. And as soon as they sit for Laylatul Qadr, they’re in a continuous dress of that Mi’raj of Prophet ﷺ.

So, then the real Qadiris are these awliyaullah (saints) that they were dressed from Laylatul Qadr 25 years ago, 30 years ago. Then Allah (AJ) “Salamun, hiya hatta matla’il Fajr.”

﴾سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ﴿٥

97:5 – “Salamun, hiya hatta matla’il Fajr.” (Surat Al-Qadr)

“Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.” (The Power, 97:5)

That in every day, they receive the salaams of a thousand months in their one day. It means 30,000 blessings come upon their soul every day. And then people say, ‘Why you say “alayhi salaam” when Allah (AJ) said “Salamun, hiya hatta matla’il Fajr”?’ Allah (AJ) giving them salaams. Who? All the Qadiris. All the people of qadr (power), Allah (AJ) gave them salaams.

Qadiri People are Blessed 30,000 Times More Than Others

Why would He not give Salaams to Ahlul Bayt (as) and Ashab un Nabi ﷺ? So, it means those who achieved Allah’s (AJ) Qadr, alayhi salaam, Allah’s (AJ) Salaam. Allah’s (AJ) peace and light and realities are dressing them all the way to their Fajr, at every Fajr of every day of their existence on this Earth. Every ni’mat (blessing) upon them is dressed 30,000 times more anyone else.

Then you see that when you sit, what Allah (AJ) going to dress. But when you see them, you don’t even have to sit in their personal space. When you see them from a distance, what Allah (AJ) dresses upon the soul, what Allah (AJ) blesses upon the soul, what difficulty Allah (AJ) takes away by means of that reality and what blessings come to people based on that reality.

Let Us to Be With the Holy Ones

We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us with the welcoming of Sha’ban Muazzam, that immense blessings, immense lights. That give us a life to see Laylatul Bara’ah and the coming of the Sha’ban, the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th, the birthday of Imam Al-Hussain (as), Imam Zainul Abideen (as) and Imam wa Sayyidina Abbas (as). On the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th of Sha’ban we’ll be celebrating Thursday, Friday, Saturday night. It would be a little bit past that because the 3^rd should be coming in on Tuesday.

But to observe that weekend is a great and a grand weekend of Ahlul Bayt (as) and the birthday of immense Ahlul Bayt (as). That by means of showing our love, ya Rabbi, let us to be with them; not by our ‘amal (actions), but by our cake. Yeah, I’m not coming with my salah (prayer) to offer you, ya Rabbi, but I brought a nice cake. Please, as a sign of my love, I brought some water. I brought some food. I brought myself. I’m trying to come through this door of love. Let me to be with them. That nothing in the way of love is ever lost. We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us.

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
