Summary points of the lecture :

– Qur’an is guiding creation from the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Surah Kahf guides the holy month of Safar.

– In Surat al Kahf is the oceans of reality, of leaving badness and entering into goodness and understanding testing.

– The immense example of Qitmir from Ashab ul Kahf (Companions of the Cave). This example teaches about character and loyalty. Why the example of a dog? To show that everyone has access to this reality.

– Rocks will be thrown at you in the form of tests as shown in the example of Ashab ul Kahf when they thew rocks at Qitmir. If the character isn’t good through the testing then it is as if you have built your house of deeds on a shaky foundation.

– Understanding Jamali (beatific) and Jalali (majestic) tajalli (manifestation).
– Jamali is beatific and brings people to cry, however it cannot help you against devils.
– Jalali is like Divine fire, is the rocks being thrown, it’s an energy which comes and makes everything and everyone to be agitated. Those who are able to contain that energy emit a powerful light which burns away negativity.

– Understanding the spiritual path – Allah (AJ) wants to send that light that will agitate everything around you. Remember that you are the source of the agitation, not everything is agitating you. If you react and become angry you loose that dress. It’s not about correcting anyone, but keeping your character and practices. Be patient and keep your path like the example of Qitmir to be dressed with immense haybah (majestic power).
