Key to Real Faith: Love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ More Than You Love Yourself
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashraful Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Reality of Faith is the Believer’s Protection in End Days
“Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum.”
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)
“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that I’m still in existence. Alhamdulillah, as a reminder always for myself of days of difficulty that the dajjal system (system of deceit) and in last days people begin to lose their iman (faith). In this understanding, it’s important because they don’t lose and what is the reality of iman? Because the reality of iman is what protects us and saves us from all the difficulties that are coming.
Faith Becomes Real With Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
That real iman is what Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ described, ‘Ya Umar (as)! You have to love me more than you love yourself, your father and your brothers.’ It means anything that is dear to you – your culture, your understanding of what you love – the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ has to be greatest and that is the reality of faith. Islamic faith, according to Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah (People of Prophetic Tradition and of the Majority), this is in our aqidah (belief).
‘An Anas ibn Malik (ra) qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ “La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan nasi ajma’yeen.” [Sahih Muslim, Hadith 44, wa Al Bukhari, Kitabul Iman, Hadith 15]
Narrated by Anas son of Malik (ra) that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children, and all mankind.” [Authentic by Muslim, Hadith 44 & by Al Bukhari, Book of Faith, Hadith 15]
Dajjal Separates Everyone From Allah’s (AJ) Refuge
Faith is not the loving of only Allah (AJ) and that is where the dajjal (man of deceit) begins to separate everyone. Because when you become separated from hawla (support) and quwwah (power) – any type of help and power – you become separated from the a’uzu and the safety and refuge of what Allah (AJ) has sent to us. We find ourselves then to be exposed. Tariqahs (spiritual paths) and shuyukh they come to give like the secret in the formula; where 99% of all people may pass that as something, you know, ‘What does it matter?’ That they come to teach us that, that’s the secret within this formula! That, the belief in Allah (AJ) is great but it’s not belief, it’s merely you’ve accepted your Lord.
Accepting Islam is Not the Same as Having Iman
When the Arabi, from Qur’an (49:14), came – the Bedouins that were in the desert and they’re very harsh in their belief and understanding – and they came to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Said, ‘We believe’ and they use the word iman. Allah (AJ) clarified for them that, ‘No! Tell them that they don’t have iman but they merely accepted Islam.’
49:14 – “Qaalatil-A ‘raabu aamannaa qul lam tu’minoo wa laakin qoolooo aslamnaa wa lamma yadkhulil eemaanu fee quloobikum wa in tutee’ul laaha wa Rasoolahoo laa yalitkum min a’maalikum shai’aa; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem” (Surat Al-Hujurat)
The desert Arabs say, “We believe.” Say, “Ye have no faith; but ye (only) say, ‘We have submitted our wills to Allah,’ For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (The Rooms, 49:14)
Mere Acceptance of Islam Won’t Save You From What’s Coming in Last Days
So it means that the acceptance of Islam is one step but it’s not the safety of what’s coming in the last days. What comes in the last days of immense hardships, immense trials and tribulations which we see all over the world. All of these deaths from pandemic, from sickness, from flus, from fear, from poverty, from being closed, their work being closed. Every person being stressed, they don’t know how to make their rizq (sustenance), they don’t know what shot they’re supposed to take, they don’t know what type of sickness is overcoming them. From every direction testing is coming now. So merely just accepting Islam is not going to be the key that saves the believer.
Dajjal and His System Attempt to Take Away the Key to Protection
So dajjal and the dajjal system – the satanic system, shaitan (satan), evilness, whatever we want to call the opponent that Allah (AJ) has put upon this Earth – that slowly picks away where the protection in the formula is. If he can take away the key of that protection, the key of that barakah (blessing), that key in the formula that makes every faiz (downpouring blessings) and every satisfaction from Allah (AJ) to flow to the believer, it’s like one number off on a code. Anybody who has dealt with pin numbers now, try to go to your bank app, try to go to any type of app, that you have and just be one number off on your code, you can’t get in!
Maqam of Iman: Love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ More Than Yourself!
What Allah (AJ) then wants as an example of that just say, ‘Don’t think it’s so simple that you merely accepted Islam.’ Some people all their life they are at the maqam (station) of only Islam. They think they reached iman (faith). They say, ‘Oh yeah I pray; I believe in Ramadan I do my fasting of Ramadan,’ and they mention all these things. But awliya (saints) come into our lives and say, ‘No, that Prophet ﷺ taught the maqam of Iman, its reality is that you have to love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ more than you love yourself.’ That becomes the key of everything you do!
Dajjal’s Purpose is to Break the Key to Your Faith
If we miss that pin, in this pin code that we’re trying to enter, nothing seems to work. That’s what dajjal’s purpose is – to begin to pick at people’s belief and they think something to may be insignificant but it may be the whole reality that opens up into the Divinely Presence. That’s what we’re dealing with when people are communicating now and say, ‘Why do I need this and why do we have to have Prophet ﷺ mentioned? Why we don’t just go directly to Allah (AJ)? Why do we, why, why, why, why?’ Before you know it, dajjal has picked away at your faith.
Accepting No Wasilah (a Means) to Allah (AJ) is Satanic Belief
The aqidah and the belief of shaitan was that he accepted no one, no one and no wasilah, no means to Allah (AJ) but to directly deal with Allah (AJ). When Allah (AJ) asked shaitan, ‘Bow down. Show a respect for the knowledge that I have bestowed upon Sayyidina Adam (as).’ Allah (AJ) is giving the order that, ‘Bow down’ and shaitan said, ‘No, I won’t do it.’
2:34 – “Wa idh qulna lilmalayikati osjudo li Adama fasajado illa ibleesa aba wastakbara wa kana minal kafireen.” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“And [mention] when We said to the angels, ‘Bow Down/make prostration to Adam’; so they prostrated, except for Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers/who reject faith.” (The Cow, 2:34)
So that belief of arrogance, that belief that I’ll deal directly only with Allah (AJ) is how shaitan picks away barakah and the blessings of someone’s faith in which their faith becomes an ocean of hypocrisy.
Be Humble and Seek Guidance and Support From Awliya
We have spoken many times anybody can go to the ‘Nurmuhammad’ [www.nurmuhammad.com] and anybody who has questions that are not being answered online, maybe they feel shy to have it online or whatever it is. If you have a question, no problem, you send it to [email protected], and we try our best to put some guidance onto that subject. If it’s something that we can bring out in public onto the live broadcast we can use it at that time. You go to ‘Nurmuhammad’ and there’s a search box and you type in ‘madad’ (support) and there’s all these talks that have been over the years on the subject of madad and the subject of tawassul (conveyance). That we took a path in which to be humble in which, ‘I need, Ya Rabbi. I’m a servant in continuous need.’
Story of Sayyidina Zakariya (as) Teaches the Importance of Tawassul
We talked even on the subject that Sayyidina Zakariya (as) – for 99 years a Prophet (as) of Allah (AJ) who was head of the temple of Jerusalem – and making du’a (supplication) for 99 years and Allah (AJ) never accepted his du’a (supplication) on a particular subject of he wanted a child for his inheritance. To inherit his way and to take from what he has been bestowed upon by Allah (AJ) to give to his awlaad and to his child.
19:2,3,5 – “Zikru rahmati Rabbika ‘abda hu Zakariyah. (2) Iz naadaa Rabba hu nidaa an khafiya. (3) Wa innee khiftul mawa liya min waraa’ee wa kaanatim ra atee ‘aaqiran fahab lee mil ladunka waliyya. (5)” (Surat Maryam)
“(This is) a mention, Remembrance of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zakariya (Zachariah). (2) When he called to his Lord a private (secret) supplication. (3) And indeed, I fear (what) my relatives (will do) after me, and my wife has been barren, so give me from Yourself an heir. (5)” (Mary, 19:2, 3, 5)
Allah (AJ) shows humility that for 99 years asking and du’a not being accepted until one day he walked into the niche, into the prayer maqam of Sayyidina Maryam (as). He realized that the emanation within this maqam and the fruits and sustenance being bestowed upon her presence is not something normal; his heart tells him that this is something spiritual. This is something from the Divinely Presence. At that moment it occurred to him to make the du’a that he has been asking. At that very moment Sayyidina Jibreel (as) appeared to him, ‘Your du’a is accepted.’
3:37-39 – “Fataqabbalaha rabbuha biqabolin hasanin wa anbataha nabatan hasanan wa kaffalaha Zakariyya, kullama dakhala ‘alayha Zakariyya almihraba wajada ‘indaha rizqan, qala ya Maryamu anna laki hadha? qalat huwa min ‘indi Allahi innAllaha yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisab. (37)” Hunalika da’a zakariyya Rabbahu, qala rabbi hab lee min ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibatan, innaka samee’ud du’a. (38) Fanadat hu almalaikatu wa huwa qaaimun yusallee fil mihrabi annAllaha yubashshiruka bi Yahya musaddiqan bikalimatin minAllahi wa sayyidan wa hasooran wa Nabiyyan minas saliheen. (39) (Surat Ali-Imran)
“So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, “O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?” She said, “It is from Allah. Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account. (37) At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, “My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication. (38) While he was standing in prayer in the chamber, the angels called unto him: “Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of Yahya (John), witnessing the truth of a Word from Allah, and (be besides) noble, chaste, and a prophet – of the (goodly) company of the righteous. (39)” (Family of Imran, 3:37-39)
We Constantly Seek a Means for Help in Our Daily Life
So it means what? It means Allah (AJ) wants humble servants. That you don’t say I’m going to deal only with Allah (AJ), directly with Allah (AJ) as if you’re going to have a telephone call, pick up and Allah (AJ), astaghfirullah, on the other side is answering for your calls. Our whole life is to seek a means.
If you get stuck on the freeway and you’re a person who believes, ‘I’m only going to deal with Allah (AJ),’ do you really think that you have that level of faith that you just stopped, wait, and Allah (AJ) will send help? If you’re that one and you have that connection with your heart and with your yaqeen (certainty), then alhamdulillah.
99.9% of the rest of the people, they have to pick up a phone and they have to call for a tow truck or police – that is a tawassul. You’re using the phone that Allah (AJ) gave to you, the fingers that Allah (AJ) gave to you, the ability to call for help and call the police – it’s a means of seeking Allah’s (AJ) help. Because if they answer and they come, Allah (AJ) inspired them, ‘Go.’ Because if you call and there’s nobody who comes and say, ‘We’re all closed,’ Allah (AJ) inspired them not to help you. But either way as a human you’re in need of the phone to reach out for help and support.
All Prophets (as) Sought a Means to Approach Allah (AJ)
If that’s for a tow truck are we thinking that we’re going to call Allah (AJ) directly and we have that level of purity? We have that level of sincerity that we have that relationship? Even the prophets (as) of Allah (AJ) didn’t feel like that! Even Allah (AJ) wanted to show His prophets (as) for our sake because their qissah and their stories in Holy Qur’an for us to understand, ‘If My Prophets (as) were in need of a tawassul, how dare you think that you don’t need a means in which to approach Me?’ Allah (AJ) said in Holy Qur’an, ‘Seek a means in which to approach.’ Use a tawassul in which to approach towards this reality.
(Surat Al-Mayidah)
“O you who believe! Have consciousness and seek the means of approach unto Him, and strive in his cause: that you may prosper/succeed.” (The Table Spread, 5:35)
Even Sayyidina Musa (as) Had to Seek Tawassul for Divinely Knowledge
Even He gave the example of the prophet (as) who talks to Him – Sayyidina Musa (as) Kalimullah (the one who speaks to Allah (AJ)) – of the big six Prophets (as) of Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Presence. One who already has a line of communication, means he didn’t need to call the tow truck, he talks directly to Allah (AJ). But when he wanted a certain level of knowledge why Allah (AJ) didn’t bestow on him and start talking about that knowledge and He said, ‘No, you must go to one of My servants and seek out that reality and that knowledge.’
18:65 – “Fawajada ‘abdan min ‘ibadinaa ataynahu rahmatan min ‘indina wa ‘allamnahu mil ladunna ‘ilma.” (Surat Al-Kahf)
“So they found one of Our servant from among Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught [unseen/heavenly] knowledge from Our own Presence…” (The Cave, 18:65)
Allah (AJ) Wants the Servant to Live a Life of Humility
Again, it’s a life of humility! No matter what Allah (AJ) bestows upon us we’re trying to be humble creation in which I’m “abdukal ‘ajeez.“ I’m a servant, I’m poor, I’m in need, I’m dirty, I know that I’m an oppressor to myself, I’m debasing or effacing myself to bring myself. ‘No I don’t need You to knock me in the head to bring me down, Ya Rabbi. I will try my best to do that myself.’ As I bring myself low I’m in need of Your support, Ya Rabbi. I’m in need of whatever help that You can give to me. Although I walk through the valley of death I fear not, Ya Rabbi but I know that you’re with me. Surround me with those whom You love and whom You have a love for. That’s what Allah (AJ) wants from His servant, ‘To be humble.’
25:63 – “Wa ‘ibaadur Rahmaanil lazeena yamshoona ‘alal ardi hawnanw wa izaa khaata bahumul jaahiloona qaaloo salaamaa.” (Surat Al-Furqan)
“And the true servants of Rahman (The Most Gracious Allah) are those who walk on the earth with humility.” (The Criterion, 25:63)
Belief in Those Who Love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ Builds Our Faith
This humility is then the love of all the prophets (as), love of all saliheen (righteous), all the Sahabi (Holy Companions of Prophet ﷺ), all Ahlul Bayt (Holy Family of Prophet ﷺ), all the awliyaullah (saints) who are inheriting from them fis samayi wa fil ard (in the heavens and on earth). So that, ‘Ya Rabbi, we’re in need. What You gave and bestowed to them, of whatever blessings and barakah You gave to them, Ya Rabbi, send to us for we are in need of that.’ That belief is the belief that builds that secret code for the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and that love is what saves us!
If You Truly Love Allah (AJ), Follow Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
So then the key and the secret for all of this reality is the waw and wadood, which is love. The love for Allah (AJ), it’s reality. So the waw, the wadood (love) of Allah (AJ) equals and it should be the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So it’s like a formula we write. That, ‘If you truly love Me,’ and Allah’s (AJ) asking us, “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allah.“ ‘Ask them if they really love Me, “fattabi’oni.” They should be following you.’
3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’uni, yuhbibkumullahu…” (Surat Ali-Imran)
“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you …” (Family of Imran, 3:31)
Then that become the whole talk, ‘If they’re following you they have to love you more than they love themselves! If they’re really following you don’t they see Me? Don’t they feel Me and My attributes within you and your love?’
Allah (AJ) Ordered You to Run to Prophet ﷺ & Seek His Forgiveness and Intercession
When we say Rasulul Kareem (The Most Generous Prophet) these ‘ashiqeen (lovers), when they had this love and they have this love, every difficulty becomes relieved by that love. Because they call out to Allah (AJ) and they see themselves in the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Asking Prophet ﷺ that, ‘When I’m an oppressor to myself Allah (AJ) ordered me jaooka fastaghfaro Allah.
4:64 – “Wa law annahum idh zhalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfaro Allaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasolu lawajado Allaha tawwaban raheema.” (Surat An-Nisa)
“And if, when they had oppressed/wronged themselves, they had but come to you (O’ Muhammad (pbuh)], and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the Messenger (pbuh), they would have found Allah Acceptor of Repentance/Forgiving, Merciful.” (The Women, 4:64)
To run to you because I am an oppressor to myself and ask that you ask Allah (AJ). I’m no one to ask anyone but you ask Allah (AJ) for my sake.’ So it means that they see themselves when they’re meditating and they’re asking for forgiveness. They’re asking, ‘I’m at the threshold ya Sayyidi ya Rasulul Kareem; ask Allah (AJ) for my relief, ask Allah (AJ) to take away every difficulty. Ask Allah (AJ) for madad and support.’
Allah (AJ) is a Hidden Treasure Which is Known Through Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Does anyone think that if they are sincerely at that threshold of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ that Allah (AJ) would be angered by them? That Allah (AJ) would be upset by them? This was Allah’s (AJ) Qur’an, “fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumullah (Holy Qur’an, 3:31).” That, ‘The servant understood who you are, understood that I was a hidden treasure and found Me within you.’ Ya Sayyidi ya Rasulul Kareem ﷺ, that we find the love of Allah (AJ) within this reflection, we need the human understanding. We need to interact with creation.
“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” Hadith Qudsi
Allah (AJ) said, “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.”
Prophet ﷺ is Our Imam – The Perfected One Who Represents Allah (AJ)
This creation has to interact with creation. There’s no way for it to understand the level of The Creator, and that avoids every type of dis-information. Because if you take out the formula of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ, who’s your imam (religious leader)? Who’s your example? The man at the mosque whose bald head and no hair, and has no hat on his head. Maybe a beard, maybe no beard, talks like a gangster when he gives khutbah (sermon)? He’s our example of what Allah (AJ) wants? Or some man on a video or some man on YouTube or who then represents the reality? No one! No one represents that reality to the perfection of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, not a prophet (as). Not a prophet (as) on this creation came to that level of perfection that reaches the perfection of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Key of Our Existence is to Achieve the Love of Prophet ﷺ
So it becomes the key of our existence. That when I say, ‘No, my life is about the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ,’ you become less likely to be fooled, less likely to be moved in a different direction. Because if my goal is to achieve this love, to have the Mawlid (celebration of the birthday of Prophet ﷺ), to be sincere, to be humble, to try my best to be at the Mawlid, for if you love him you should be mentioning him. If you love Allah (AJ) you should be from the people of zikrullah (remembrance of Allah). How come they don’t attend the zikr (Divine remembrance), how come they don’t listen to the zikrullah? Their whole life should be of that reality. That gives us the symbol so that shaitan (satan) not to fool us, ‘No, I’m in love with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Develop a Relationship With the Shaykh – Your Muhammadan Representative
Anything that teaches that reality that brings me closer to that example that I want to be under that flag,’ you’re less likely to be fooled in life. Our life was about to love that reality more than we love ourselves so that we gain the light, the blessings, and the immense protection that Allah’s (AJ) going to bestow upon this creation.
Now what shaitan is doing, is take that away and take that away and take that away, so that people begin to say, ‘Oh you know, I’ve a doubt on that and I don’t really need anything between me and Allah (AJ).’ That’s okay, good for you. You keep with that belief and see how far that gets you. It’s not very humble; it’s not a very humble understanding. We pray that Allah (AJ) in these days of difficulty grant us more and more love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and that builds and that answers the question on, ‘How to develop the relationship with the shaykh.’ The shaykh is the Muhammadan representative.
If Someone Doesn’t Teach the Solution, They’re a Part of the Problem
The shaykh that talks, and we have gotten many emails and it’s very interesting. A lot of people – we don’t ever mention names about a particular shaykh that talks about the last days – and unfortunate that I mentioned his name in some sort of context and oh, we got a lot of emails. ‘Oh you should work together and he’s a great shaykh, he’s a great shaykh.’ I said that this is not, that was not the talk. We never judge who’s a great shaykh, not a great shaykh – it’s not our business. We said that whoever teaches, whatever they teach, if they don’t teach the solution then they’re part of the problem, they’re only halfway into the deal. If somebody tells you about last days, last days, last days, then Yajuj wa Majuj (Gog and Magog) is Russia then Yajuj wa Majuj is this, then Yajuj wa Majuj. This is nonsense.
We Are Already in the End Times
The understanding of last days is you read the Hadith, ‘When the Clock appears, the time has arrived.’ Ok, the Clock is there in Makkah, time is here, now that’s it! It doesn’t need a deep understanding.
But the solution that when you see these days coming, when you see mankind locked in their homes. When you see the red death and white death means the death of war; war everywhere. Then you see the death of sudden death from sicknesses, now you have reached into akhir zaman (end of time)!
Qala Amirul Mumineen Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (as): “bayna yadai alqaayimi mawtun ahmar wa mawtun abyad. Famma almawtul ahmar fabeyssayif wa ammal mawtul abyad fabil taa’oon.” [ Annu’maniya Safha 286]
The Leader of the believers Imam ‘Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as) said: “Before the arrival of the Qaayim (uprising) of Imam Mahdi (as), there will be the ‘red death’ and ‘white death’. The ‘Red death’ is by the sword, and the ‘white death’ is by plague.” [An Numani Page: 286]
Adorn Yourself With the Majestic Sunnah of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Now the time is ending upon this Earth, what’s the solution? That you should be running to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That we should have an immense love. We should be in our Mawlids and zikrs. You should now grow, grow [Shaykh refers to beard]. If this is the time that you’re going to pass away, then pass away in the sunnah (traditions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. In this noble and majestic sunnah that you adorn yourself from that way if that’s whom you love. That’s what saves us; that was all this teaching should be.
Support The Way of Divine Reality With Your Life & Possessions
So find those whom embody that reality and try their best to live the example of that reality, teach that reality, and conduct the weekly majlises (associations) of that reality. If you found something like that then support it with your life, with your death, with your wealth, with your possessions and make your faith to be real.
6:162 – “Qul inna salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati lillahi Rabbil ‘Aalamin.” (Surat Al-An’am)
Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my services of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (The Cattle, 6:162)
It’s very simple. “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’uni.” My life was then to follow that way.
3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’uni, yuhbibkumullahu…” (Surat Ali-Imran)
“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you…” (Family of Imran, 3:31)
Put Your Faith Into Action!
Then the people of faith, they put their whole faith in that way. They attend the majlis. Now this majlis is online for all over the world. They can support from anywhere in the world. They can support with their time, they can do all sorts of transcribing. There are people who should be transcribing the talks, the YouTube talks in Spanish. We have a huge Spanish audience in the Northern and Southern America, North America, South America. So it means there are so many things that could be done. We just really have to want to take that step.
Your Service & Participation Gains the Nazar (Gaze) of the Awliya
As soon as you’re of service, as soon as you’re participating, as soon as you’re communicating, as soon as you’re contributing, you are under the nazar of the shaykhs. For even a grain of rice in their direction, they’re watching and they’re vigilantly watching. Some shaykhs that have been given a permission they’re responding continuously – shukran (thank you), shukran, shukran, shukran, shukran.’ Don’t think it’s auto-reply; the shaykh is actually replying for everything that been given, by every support that been given, for everything that they are getting, from everything.
That when you give you’re under their nazar. When you participate you’re under their nazar. When you support in the activities that they’re doing, coming into the zikr, going online you’re under the nazar. That nazar is a continuous shukran, continuous thank. Whomever sees through their eyes is seeing what you write and what you do. Whomever speaks through their lips is speaking to you from what you’ve done and what they appreciate. They are merely phones for a greater purpose and that becomes the reality of our lives. So for whatever we’re doing all we have to do is participate and be active and you are most definitely under their nazar.
The Shaykhs Are Continuously Praying for Those Who Participate
Anyone who knows these shaykhs knows how active they are, they are involved in everything. There’s nothing that escapes them. They know who wrote, who complained, who did this, who did that, because every step of the way they’re watching and praying. They pray from the ones who are trying to harm them that Allah (AJ) keep those away. The ones whom trying to support them and to be of a help, that Allah (AJ) bless them, dress them. They read about the ones who feel sick or their family are sick or their children are in difficulty. Say, ‘Ya Rabbi, for the sake of their support their love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ take away difficulty.’ Alhamdulillah, this is the life that they lead.
We pray that Allah (AJ) save us and save us from dajjal picking at our faith and to remember that the gist of this whole talk tonight, ‘Faith is the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’ Don’t think you have faith if you took our Prophet ﷺ and you start to begin to only talk about Allah (AJ); that’s not what Allah (AJ) wants. Allah (AJ), “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allah. If they want My love, “fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumullah.“ Allah’s (AJ) reply, ‘I will love them.’
Allah (AJ) Relieves Difficulties For the Servant Who Shows Their Love for Prophet ﷺ
What you imagine if Allah (AJ) loves you? You’ll be knocked out from these blessings. You feel immense love, immense appreciation for Divinely Presence. You feel the generosity of the love of Prophet ﷺ is the emanation of Allah’s (AJ) satisfaction. Because you love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Allah (AJ) feels shy to see you in difficulty. If you’re in pain and you’re crying to Prophet ﷺ, Allah (AJ) feels shy that you’re going to Prophet ﷺ and crying that way.
Allah (AJ) will relieve the difficulty, inshaAllah, because of that love affair, because of the greatness of the station of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Because Allah’s (AJ) not doing it only for me and you but He feels sad that Prophet ﷺ is becoming sad that one of my lovers is at my threshold crying because of their difficulty, because of their child, because of their sustenance. If Prophet ﷺ becomes saddened by that don’t you think Allah (AJ) becomes sad? As a way Allah (AJ) relieves that difficulty so there are many secrets in this reality and in this relationship.
Love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the Key to Protection Against the Dajjal System
We pray that Allah (AJ) protect us from a dajjal system which is meant to take away faith, take away faith, take away faith, until the person finds themselves with an umbrella filled with holes and no protection from the difficulties that are coming upon this Earth.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
May Allah (AJ) keep all our children, our families, our communities, all our loved ones to be safe and Allah (AJ) make this year to be a blessed year. Protect us against any type of difficulties, any type of plans. Whomever is planning Allah’s (AJ) plan is supreme.
8:30 – “… wa yamkuroona wa yamkurul laahu, Wallaahu khairul maakireen” (Surat Al-Anfal)
“…But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.” (The Spoils of War, 8:30)
That, ‘Ya Rabbi, keep us under Your plan, keep us under Your nazar, keep us under the protection and the love and the khirqah (cloak) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Ashab an Nabi ﷺ (Holy Companions of Prophet ﷺ), Ahlul Baytin Nabi ﷺ (Holy Family of the Prophet ﷺ) and all your awliyaullah fis samayi wa fil ard. Ya Rabbi, keep us under that protection.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
