A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ. Madad ya Sayyidi ya Rasulul Kareem, Ya Habibul ‘Azeem, unzur halana wa ishfa’lana, ‘abidona bi madadikum wa nazarekum.

Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum. Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.

أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾‏ …

4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)

“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

Allah’s (AJ) Immense Favour Upon His HabibAllah, Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

Alhamdulillah, that these are the final nights of the holy month of Ramadan. That Allah (AJ), inshaAllah, to complete His favours upon ourselves, our family, our community and the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and to make them as shining stars on Yawmul Mahshar (The Day of Gathering), to be raised to show the honour of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

This immense love story and this is a way of love and ishq. Allah’s (AJ) immense love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, HabibAllah. Habibullah, the one whom Allah (AJ) loves, the love of Allah (AJ). That “Muhammadun Rasulallah” is the messenger of Allah (AJ).

Prophet’s ﷺ Undying Love and Concern for His Nation

That alhamdulillah, Shaykh Habib Jifri (Q) posted a reminder that the immensity of this love, that Prophet ﷺ was sitting with the companions and describing a servant in the nation of Bani Israel (children of Israel) who has served Allah (AJ) for 1000 months in perfect service. The companions were so mesmerized by that reality and the sadness that Prophet ﷺ felt for his nation. This is how we know we are so…so loved. That while we try to carry the world, there’s someone great carrying us.

The sadness that he felt for his nation that they won’t achieve 1000 months of perfect worship to Allah (AJ). As a result of that light, that thought, that concern entering the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That, ‘How will my nation have a thousand months of perfect worshipness and how will they possibly complete such a reality so that my nation be the brightest, most purified, most perfected nation to be presented to Allah (AJ)?’

Laylatul Qadr is Our Chance to Perform Tremendous Worship

Allah (AJ) sent an amazing love to the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That, ‘Don’t worry, I give your nation in one night. In one night, I’ll dress them with 1000 months of perfect worshipness.’ This was the glory and the establishment of Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power). That Allah’s (AJ) response in this love, this is a life in which the prayer is not by hand, but when the love is so deep, the prayer is within the heart. That one cares for someone so sincerely within their being that, ‘I care for my nation and they don’t achieve. I don’t see them all achieving that.’

Allah (AJ) granted, ‘Don’t worry. I’ll make it in one night. Just they sit that night, I’ll dress them with 1000 months of perfect worship.’ This, subhanAllah, Allahu Akbar (Allah (AJ) is the Greatest), that all we have to do is love Prophet ﷺ. Like children to their father; not the dunya (material world) father that may forget you, but the heavenly father.

Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ Intercession is a Mercy Beyond Time

The love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ will never forget his nation. He opened for his nation that if they sit on these ten days, they will be dressed whether they saw it, they didn’t see it. It doesn’t matter for Allah (AJ). They will be dressed with the lights of this thousand months of perfect worshipness. This is the greatness of the intercession of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

With that alone, we show our thankfulness that that’s why we’re fasting; not because the enjoyment of not eating and drinking, the headaches and difficulties that may occur, but ‘Ya Rabbi, You grant us so much. I owe to all my being to show my gratefulness and my thankfulness and that I owe everything to show my thankfulness to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ who grants us these lights and these blessings, grants us these dressings.’ That, ‘Come back, oh, my nation.’

Our Love of Prophet ﷺ Unlocks Every Door

That when we love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ more than we love ourself, Allah (AJ) begins to reveal the immensity of the generosity oceans that, ‘You don’t know how much I dressed upon his love. If you come back to that love, sit in the shade of that love, circumambulate that love, make your whole life about the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’ That Allah’s (AJ) infinite rahmah and mercy to dress us and bless us, keep sickness away from us, keep hardship away from us, make every difficulty to be an ease, every locked to be unlocked and that every grace and blessing to dress us with Allah’s (AJ) satisfaction and rida and forgiveness.

Alhamdulillah, that Allah (AJ) gave us the immensities of this reality, this holy month of Ramadan and everything that Allah (AJ) want to dress upon the nation for that reality. The same for all these teachings, all of these awliya (saints), holy companions, Ahlul Bayt (Holy family of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), whatever they’re inspiring of their teachings into the heart is from that rahmah (mercy). Not that everybody will achieve it, but the fact that you heard it. They’ll dress you by it and that’s the great achievement.

Want What You Have, Not Have What You Want

It’s not all the things I want in life. What…what the expression is – to have what I want. This world is about to have what I want, but in reality, it’s about wanting what I have. This dunya (material world) makes us to be fooled about having what we want and keep praying to Allah (AJ), ‘These are all the things I want.’ But its reality is that Allah’s (AJ), ‘You have to want what you have. You have to be thankful for what you have and identify the treasure within it. I gave you the greatest treasure.’

Those whom are sitting and hearing and listening, the greatest treasure’s the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the highest level of belief and the highest level of perfection. Allah (AJ) say, ‘What you want more than that?’ These lights and dressings and teachings and majlis (associations) and praisings are all the dress and blessings and medallions upon your soul. ‘What is it that you want more than that?’

Dunya Doesn’t Compare to the Wing of a Mosquito

The trash of dunya (material world), the dirtiness of dunya and all the things that we’re asking from of dunya, Allah (AJ) says, ‘It doesn’t compare to the weight of a wing of a mosquito in what I have granted you and given to you of these realities and this love.’

عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: « لَوْ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا تَعْدِلُ عِنْدَ اللهِ جَنَاحَ بَعُوضَةٍ مَا سَقَى كَافِرًا مِنْهَا شَرْبَةَ مَاءٍ» [جَامِعُ ٱلتِّرْمِذِي ٢٣٢٠ كِتَابْ ٣٦، حَدِيِثْ١٧]

ʿAn Sahl ibn Saʿd (ra) qala: qala RasuluAllahi ﷺ: “Law kanatid dunya taʿdilu ʿinda Allahi janaha baʿudatin ma saqa kafiran minha sharbata mayin” [Jami` al-Tirmidhi 2320, Kitab 36, Hadith 17]

Sahl ibn Sa’d (ra) reported: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “If the world were as worthy to Allah as the wing of a mosquito, an unbeliever would not even be given a sip of water.” [Jami` al-Tirmidhi 2320, Book 36, Hadith 17]

One day, you’ll know. Those whom know before they die, it’s a great achievement. Those who don’t, then they’ll feel the sadness in the grave. ‘Ya Rabbi, I didn’t understand the immensity of what You were giving to me. Had I known, maybe I could have achieved more.’ But alhamdulillah, either way, it’s an immense dress and immense blessing. We pray that Allah (AJ) open our hearts and take away any heedlessness and grant us a himmah and zeal to achieve.

Laylatul Qadr is Better Than a Thousand Months (Holy Qur’an, 97:3)

“A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Fa ayatul kareem (generous verse of holy Qur’an) from Surat Al Qadr – “Laylatul Qadr khairum min alfe shahr.”

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ﴿٣﴾‏

97:3 – “Laylatul Qadre khairum min alfe shahr.

“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. (The Night of Power, 97:3)

“Laylatul Qadr khairum min alfe shahr.” We described last night, Allah (AJ) giving us the reality of the binary code. If you learn to be OFF, Allah (AJ) will turn the energy ON if your life is learning how to enter into layl (night) and how to efface yourself to be nothing. In the darkness of the night, when the world is sleeping, that you spend your time in connecting and meditating.

When You Efface Yourself, Allah (AJ) Rewards You With Qadr

If Allah (AJ) grant to you layl, said that, ‘If you open layl, I open for you qadr (power). This is the gift.’ Every time you enter into a layl and annihilate, Allah (AJ) grants the gift of qadr. Ayatul kareem because this is a Qur’anic guidance, “Laylatul Qadr” that, ‘At every moment if you efface yourself, My reward to you is qadr – “Qaf wal Quranil Majeed.”’

﴾ق ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ ﴿١

50:1 – “Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed.” (Surat Qaf)

“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an.” (The Letter Qaf, 50:1)

“Khairum Min” is to Be Dressed With Meem and Noon, the Muhammadan Nur

‘My Qur’an will dress you with power oceans on your soul.’ That’s why this whole love is about: where is this Qur’an coming from? Holy Qur’an is emanating from the soul, Manzil ul Qur’an, the soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That light dresses you. That light blesses you and at every moment from the heart of Prophet ﷺ is coming “Laylatul Qadr khairum min”.

Allah (AJ) going to give ‘khair,’ the best of ‘min’. ‘Of this meem, noon, I’m going to dress you in this annihilation. That you enter this qadr (power) that I give to you, I’m going to dress you from the meem and the noon, the Muhammadan nur. That this meem to dress you, bless you and this is the reality of the noon. This is the reality of the noon. “Noon wal Qalam. Noon wal Qalam.”

ن ۚ وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ ﴿١﴾‏

68:1 -“Noon. wal Qalami wa ma yasTuroon.” (Surat al Qalam)

“Noon. By the pen and what they inscribe.” ( The Pen 68:1)

Noon wal Qalam, the Divine Pen Writes the Reality of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ (Holy Qur’an, 68:1)

All, all these that we’re teaching you, all the same source. Qur’an teaches us ayatul kareem, “Noon wal Qalam”. Allah (AJ) testifies by this noon and the reality of the qalam (pen) which we described last night as ‘Qul Ya Muhammad ﷺ’. Allah’s (AJ) Divinely speech of Qur’an – qaf, laam to this tongue – realities known as Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. The qalam writes every reality of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. All of them are owned by Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. He is the treasure of Allah (AJ). “Khairum min, khairum min” – ‘I’m going to grant you in every annihilation this Muhammadan light. “Khairum min alfe shahr.”

‘Alf’ – alif, laam, fa. Al-Fa, Al-Fa. Like Al-Rahman (The Most Compassionate) Al-Fa. ‘Shahr’, ‘I’m going to grant you from alfe shahr.’ We’re a nation in which Allah (AJ) gave the immense reality of guidance. That the month represents a tajalli (manifestation) of guidance in which we are in dunya (material world), are calculating time. But for Allah (AJ), within the paradise oceans of eternity, that has no time.

Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the Sun of All Guidance

The significance of shamsi wal qamar (sun and the moon) that, ‘You are a nation of guidance and other nations, they have left the guidance and they think they take directly from the sun. They took their calendars, their way, their time on this Earth by solar and tark al adab (leaving manners). They left the secrets of guidance. The nation that kept to the way of the qamar (moon) is the nation in which they take the tajalli (manifestation); the tajalli of the sun upon themselves but more important, what the sun sends to the moon.

The moon guides them and that’s why Allah (AJ) left all creation under the guidance of the moons. These were the prophets (as) and that at a higher level, Prophet ﷺ is the sun of all guidance, Shamsul Ma’rifah (Sun of Gnosticism), Shamsul ‘Arifeen (Sun of Knowers). This reality of Prophet ﷺ is the eternal light of Allah (AJ). As a result, ‘I left behind for you my moons. Anyone of them will guide you into this reality.’

Hold Tight to the Divine Rope and Do Not Separate (Holy Qur’an, 3:103)

So for the shahr, the moon is a stage of veils and tajallis (manifestations) for us. So, dunya (material world) people, the moon is a blocking of time. Twelve moons and they’re calculating their time on Earth. For Ahlul Ma’rifah (People of Gnosticism), the moon are hijabs (veils) of light that reflect the reality of an eternal light because these are the reality within the self and the reality on the horizon.

سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ ۗ ﴿٥٣﴾‏

41:53 – “Sanureehim ayatina fil afaqi wa fee anfusihim hatta yatabayyana lahum annahu alhaqqu…” (Surat Al-Fussilat)

“We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth…” (The Night Journey 41:53)

So, spirituality is that the light of the sun is from an eternal reality. It hits the perfected guides. These guides, they watch over creation. So, our life is to take guidance, to be connected. “A’tasimo bihab lillahi… tafarraq” – ‘Hold tight to the rope of Allah (AJ) and don’t separate.’

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ ﴿١٠٣﴾‏

3:103 “Wa’tasimo bihab lillahi jamee’an wa la tafarraqo.”(Surat Al ‘Imran)

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not separate.” (The Family of Imran, 3:103)

Break Down the Alif to Understand the Secrets Within

Allah (AJ) gave to us, Prophet ﷺ gave to us the realities of tariqahs (spiritual paths), that they hold the moon. They represent the reflection of that shahr. They represent the reflection of guidance upon the Earth. They take from the Muhammadan light. They reflect within their being and they guide humanity. Ayatul kareem – “Khairum min alfe shahr”. Allah (AJ) is now giving us that understanding that the tajalli (manifestation) that coming onto you in this month from this shar, from this tajalli, from this guidance is the secret of alif, secret of alif. ‘Al-Fa’.

So, when they say, ‘Al, alif, alfe, alfe,’ it’s actually Al-Fa. That ‘fa’ is the opening of alif. When Allah (AJ) want to grant this ‘izzah (honour), grant this might from the oceans of alif, it means this alif opens – ‘Alif, laam, fa’. Allah’s (AJ) ‘izzah moves upon this laam. It’s always going to be a laam. There’s always a tongue for Allah (AJ). There’s always a lisan (tongue) to give this secret to humanity. That is the tongue of Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ soul.

Secrets of “Fa” With the Divine Victory

What comes then? ‘Fa’. Fa becomes Fatiha and the entire opening of all these oceans and realities. That Allah (AJ) giving ‘alfe’. Why alfe in this spirituality is the tajalli (manifestation) of alfe? The tajalli of alfe is – alif, laam, fa. That from Allah’s (AJ) ancient alif, this ancient ‘Izzatullah (Might and Magnificence of Allah (AJ)) that, ‘I’m going to give this through the secret of My Rasul (messenger). He’s going to grant you My ‘Fa’. “Inna Fatahna laka Fathan Mubeenan.”

﴾إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا ﴿١

48:1 – “Inna Fatahna laka Fathan Mubeena.” (Surat al Fath)

“Verily We have granted thee a manifest Victory.” (The Victory 48:1)

What is the great opening of Allah (AJ)? Surah YaSeen is the secret of Qur’an. Surah Fatiha is the secret of Surah YaSeen. Qur’an’s essence is Surah YaSeen. Surah YaSeen’s essence is the reality of Fatiha. The reality of Fatiha is in the ‘Fa’. That this ancient alif is going to dress you with the secret of this fa. That’s why Allah (AJ) said, ‘Give to your nation not to eat, not to drink; fast. That My alif will grant them a reward that no ear has heard and no eye has seen.’ It comes directly from Divinely Presence to raise their light, bless their light, dress their light.

Understanding the Hidden Code of “Shahr”

“Min alfe shahr”. This shahr, it has its reality in the ‘sheen, hey, ra’. That’s why the month is a secret of guidance. That we’re trying to receive from the sheen which is from ‘Arsh al Majeed, the holy throne of the Divinely Presence is coming and hey and hidayat for guidance in the hand of Rabbaniyoon (Lordly souls). That’s why the shahr, the month is a reality of guidance. This is a coding that this month, this shahr that, ‘Those whom represent My moons and reflections of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.’

Allah’s (AJ) alf – Allah’s (AJ) ‘Izzah, Might and the secret of the Fatiha is dressing their sheen. That they’re dressing them from ‘Arsh al Majeed. As a result, the hidayat and guidance that flowing through their soul. Allah (AJ) said, ‘This is only in the hands of Rabbaniyoon.’ As a result, they dress the nation, bless the nation. We pray that Allah (AJ) keep us amongst these realities and these Rabbaniyoon, these ‘ashiqeen and immense lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
