God’s Mirrors on Earth
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ. Madad ya Sayyidi ya Rasulul Kareem, Ya Habibul ‘Azeem, unzur halana wa ishfa’lana, ‘abidona bi madadikum wa nazarekum.
Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum. Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾ …
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Alhamdulillah the holy month of Dhul Qi’dah and the secret of 99 that is nine and the sultanate (kingdom) multiplied by the reality of eleven [9×11=99]. The reality of 11 is a Divine mirror. The 1 of La ilaha illAllah (There is no deity but Allah) wanting to be known and created creation which is Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.
قَال رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ، قَالْ اللَّه عَزَ وَجَلْ: ” كُنْت كَنْزاً مخفيا فَأَحْبَبْت أَنْ أُعْرَفَ؛ فَخَلَقْت خَلْقاً فَعَرَّفْتهمْ بِي فَعَرَفُونِي.” [حَدِيثْ اَلْقُدْسِي – بِحَارْ اَلْأنْوَارْ، اَلْعَلَامَةْ اَلْمَجْلِسِيْ، جُزْء ٨٤، صَفْحَة ١٩٩]
Qala Rasulallahi ﷺ, Qala Allah (AJ): “Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” [Hadith al Qudsi – Behar al Anwar, Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Juz’ 84, Safha 199]
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, that Allah (AJ) said: “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.” [Holy Hadith – Bihar al Anwar, by Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Volume 84, Page 199]

Enter Through the Right Door!
This 11, this mirror is the secret of the way. That when you want to reach to the reality you have to go through the door. You want to get into the palace you have to go through its entry. Allah (AJ) describes, ‘Everything has a proper door and enter every home from that front door.’
(١٨٩) وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَن تَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـٰكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ…
2:189 – “…Wa laysal birru bi-an tatol buyoota min zuhooriha wa lakinnal birra manit taqa, wa’ tol buyoota min abwabiha, wat taqollaha la’allakum tuflihoon.” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“…And it is not righteousness to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is [in] one who fears Allah. And enter houses from their doors. And be Conscious of Allah that you may succeed.” (The Cow, 2:189)
So means to enter into the reality of La ilaha illAllah to the love and ‘ishq of Allah (AJ) it is a reflection and that reality you have to enter is Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. It should make every common sense that how can you go to your Creator dirty, bad mannered, bad intention, incorrect understandings. So there must be one whom lays the laws and sets the rules and teaches the protocols.’ It means the one whom for all of creation cleans the creation, gives them the protocol for proceeding and moving towards the Divinely Presence. That is Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. That, that reality comes into our life to teach us, to bless us, to dress us and to fragrance us.
Prophet ﷺ is the Owner of Mulki Wa Malakut (Earthly and Heavenly Realms)
The tajalli (manifestation) of the month is “Subhana zul Mulki wal Malakut.”
سُبْحَانَ ذُوالْمُلْكِ وَالْمَلَكُوتْ
Subhana zul Mulki wal Malakut.
(Glory be to the Owner of the earthly and the heavenly Kingdoms)
The one whom is the owner of the two realms, of anything of mulk means anything from the manifest creation. Anything throughout these universes that is manifesting is the realm of mulk. Anything that is not manifesting in the world of light and unseen is the malakut and infinite realities within the malakut… realities. Allah (AJ) is Lord over all of them, Creator over all of them and all of “Mulki wa Malakut” has been given to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. “Sakhkhara lakum ma fis Samawati wa ma fil Ardi wa jamee’an.”
(١٣) وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً مِّنْهُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لَّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
45:13 – “Wa sakhkhara lakum ma fis Samawati wa ma fil Ardi jamee’an minhu, inna fee dhalika la ayatin liqawmin yatafakkaron.” (Surat Al-Jathiya)
“And He has subjected/gave the authority to you [Sayyidina Mahmood (pbuh)], as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect/Contemplate [Meditate].” (The Crouching, 45:13)
That whatever you can figure between them, Allah (AJ) has subjected to the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Whatever is between the created and uncreated, the manifest and unmanifest realms is all been given to that authority. Malik al Hayat wa Malik ad dunya (King of Oceans of Eternity and King of Manifested World). The king of the dunya (material world) and the king of life for the unmanifest is another way of calling that which is not manifesting is the secret of hayat (ever-living) and the secret realms of existence.
Dhul Qi’dah is the Month of Shaking – When Inner Truth Comes Out
So alhamdulillah, that Allah (AJ) granted for us to enter into this month and the month of zalzalah – the month of earthquake. The month in which the holy Qur’an is dressing the earth to bring out what is hidden. Anything that is hidden has to come out and if what is hidden is something good, then alhamdulillah, Allah (AJ) to bring its reality out. Every quaking and every shaking exposes what is hidden within. It means both good and bad. So when people are shook and shook then what comes out of them is either good or bad. When the bad comes out then they must realize that badness. If the good comes out then alhamdulillah, Allah (AJ) dress them and bless them and bringing their reality out for them to approach closer and closer to the Divinely presence.
Dhul Qi’dah is the Month of Seclusion
We pray that in these holy months that Allah (AJ) made it a month also for seclusions that many of those whom been trained in the way of reality that they are secluded in the month of Dhul Qi’dah. So that Allah (AJ) to complete His favors upon their soul. So means the immensity of the light that is coming from the Divinely throne where we described from Ramadan was khashiya – to be dust, to be obliterated. “Subhana zul Mulki wal Malakut,” “Subhana dhul ’arshi ‘amma yasifun”.
سُبْحَانَ ذُوالْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونْ
Subhana dhul ’arshi ‘amma yasifun.
(Glory be to the Owner of the Throne, above all else attributed to Him).
Everything is Shaking in This Month Because 1 Dresses 1
Last month is that those dust and the nothing to be presented to the Divinely throne and then the holy month of Dhul Qi’dah in which the 1 dresses the 1. The Divinely mirror in which Allah (AJ) sends the dress of Divinely Presence onto that reality to dress it and to bless it. As a result of those tajallis everything is quaking. Because the tajalli is so great Allah (AJ) shake everything, everything in creation it shakes in this holy month. Because of the tajalli, because of the immensity of the tajalli which is a very jalali – which a majestic tajalli in which cracks everything. What comes out then Allah (AJ) exposes that if it was good, alhamdulillah and they praise Allah (AJ), ‘Alhamdulillah Ya Rabbi, for what goodness is coming out.’ If bad they ask Allah (AJ) forgiveness, ‘Ya Rabbi, forgive us for the bad that we hide within ourselves.’
‘Ashiqeen (Lovers) Strive for Divine Pleasure
Then inshaAllah, Allah (AJ) to bring it and to clean it, to address it and to perfect the characters of insan (human being) and ‘ashiqeen. Those whom are lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, with all their zeal they struggle in the way to make Allah (AJ) happy. It means immense glad tidings for all those whom support; all those who send their support, all those whom send their comments, all those whom send their links. Everything that everyone is doing to get the attention of Allah (AJ), the attention of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the attention of awliyaullah fis samayi wa fil ard (saints in the heavens and on the earth). That their nazar (gaze) be upon us, all our actions, all our deeds, all those whom are struggling in the way to perform those deeds. To perform those actions, to give and to sacrifice from what they have and give into the way and to give to the path. The ones whom running around and giving food and identifying locations and wells. Everything manageable, possible, whatever people are doing of their khidmat (service) that Allah (AJ) to dress it, to bless it and to grant us this year a beatific hijrah (migration). A beatific presence in Divinely Presence.
Make An Intention to be Presented to the Divinely Mirror
That we all make intention for Hajj (pilgrimage) that, ‘Ya Rabbi, I don’t know if my physicality will be going but I’m going with all my heart and soul.’ That Allah (AJ) to dress us on our Hajj, to bless us with our Hajj. It means these are the dresses that we are in need of to complete this year. That, that’s all the tajallis Allah (AJ) has dressed that to bring that soul into the Divinely mirror. The perfection of the mirror is the one that has the realities, not us, we have nothing.
Our Life is to Clean Ourselves So the Divine Mirror Can Reflect Onto Us
Our life was just to clean, to do our zikr (Divine Remembrance), to do our service. So that what happens when you’re presented to a mirror if you’re clean – you reflect what the mirror is reflecting onto you. The purpose of your zikr, your cleaning, your service every sin is washed away with khidmat. Khidmat brings a rahmah (mercy). We said before that your salah (daily prayer) it requires to be judged. Every action requires a judgment except that which we do by love. There is nothing to judge from love. Allah (AJ) doesn’t say, ‘That love wasn’t good enough.’ Whatever the servant can do of their khidmat is a sign of their love and ‘ishq. If they bring a cup of water Allah (AJ) doesn’t say, ‘Well you should have brought more.’ They brought the cup of water, they get the reward for a cup of water. If all they had was a cup of water to give, Allah (AJ) gives them oceans of abundance.
So it means love is not something that can be judged. Allah (AJ) gives the gift of that love. So means the greatest, the greatest that we have is our service, our khidmat, our service. Our service with our life, with our time, with our wealth, with our provision, with our ability, our faculty, our thought, our feet. Whatever that we can do that khidmat, that service washes away every type of difficulty like a polishing, polishing, polishing.
We Have No Light of Our Own, We Can Only be a Purified Mirror to Reflect Light
Because we are not capable of a light, we’re not claiming we have a light. We are not claiming that we can reach to anything. But what now they’re finding out? Some crazy people said, ‘Oh let’s make a sun.’ That’s a crazy nafsani (egocentric) person, ‘Let’s make a sun and compete with Allah (AJ).’ No! But somebody with a ‘aqel (intellect) and a good heart said, ‘No, why we have to make a sun? Why don’t we just make a mirror and reflect the sun?’ If we take the power that is already there why we have to try to replicate it and replicate something so divinely unimaginable? Why we don’t just take the mirror shine it at the sun and if the mirror is purified enough it reflects the sun like a weapon.
So now the military is making very purified mirrors. I think they had it in one of the Batman or Superman movies because they understood this is tariqah (spiritual path). That they go in front of the sun and they realize the purity of the mirror they use. If they even use a cheap mirror in the presence of that sun it will reflect an immense power and imagine where you shine that reflection will burn through everything.
Tariqahs Teach How to Purify the Mirror of Soul
Now imagine if the mirror is much more purified of substance and of purity how much it can convey the reflection of that sun. That’s all that tariqah is coming and inspiring to people that, ‘Do your khidmat, do your prayers, do everything Allah (AJ) has asked of us. Be of service.’ This service, this love, this way is immense washing, cleansing, washing, cleansing. Why? So that every time you meditate and contemplate your soul is a purified mirror.
The Reality of Tawheed (Oneness) – Allah’s (AJ) Power Reflecting to Prophet ﷺ
As a result that mirror goes in the presence of that sun – s-u-n, an immense dress and reflection. This is the reality of the shaykhs that they’re not claiming they’re something. That’s why these people who don’t understand the reality of tawheed, this is the month and the reality of 11 which is the immense reality of tawheed. The first usool – the first principle of Islamic law is tawheed and oneness. When people have no mind they think, ‘Oh the tariqahs they are multiplicity, they’re all over the place thinking there are multiple.’ Said, ‘No no, you don’t really understand Oneness.’ That this immensity of oneness is that this La ilaha illAllah is a power that nothing and no one can harness that power except but one. Allah (AJ) says, ‘If I speak to the mountain it would be dust.’
(٢١) …لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ
59:21 – “Law anzalna hadha alQurana ‘ala jabalin laraaytahu, khashi’an mutasaddi’an min khashyatillahi…” (Surat Al-Hashr)
“Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, verily, you would have seen it obliterated to dust (from its power)…” (The Exile, 59:21)
Reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ Being the Divinely Mirror
Because Allah (AJ) by humility talks about the power, Divinely power as a speech because Qur’an is Allah’s (AJ) speech. ‘If I reveal My Qur’an to the mountain, it will be dust but we reveal it to the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’ So means what? That Allah’s (AJ) power is a power reflecting to His most purified mirror. The reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the Divinely mirror. Prophet ﷺ described, ‘I am the shadow of Allah (AJ) upon this earth.’ That Divinely mirror means that the reality of Allah (AJ) that everyone is searching for is everywhere but nowhere. It means it is everywhere but how you’re going to find it and say, ‘Oh this is Allah (AJ).’ Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah (AJ)), this is impossible. But its reality and its source that Allah (AJ) wants for us is that, ‘Find Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. He ﷺ is the reflection of My Divinely Presence.’
Prophet ﷺ is the Perfect Mirror of Allah (AJ) Without Any Imperfection
So then when you’re seeking that reality who are you really seeking? Allah (AJ). It is all based on Allah (AJ). But the tariqah keeps the manners and its immense reality that we all want La ilaha illAllah but Allah (AJ) says, ‘You’re not going to find it like that. You don’t have the capacity to carry that. You’re not that mirror. You’re not that one but that one is Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.’ That reality of Prophet ﷺ perfectly without imperfection – “Khuluqal ‘azheem.”
(٤) وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
68:4 – “Wa innaka la’ala khuluqin ‘azheem.” (Surat Al-Qalam)
“Truly, You (O Muhammad!) are of a magnificent character.” (The Pen, 68:4)
These codes that Allah (AJ) gives in holy Qur’an, ‘You are of a magnificent character.’ As if Allah (AJ) describing His satellite that, ‘I created you without imperfection, your mirror has no imperfection.’ Because every imperfection in the mirror leaves out something of a reflection. So imagine the sun is shining but you have a big circle on your mirror broken. Well, the sun is going to reflect everything but what hits that broken piece. So means the one that whom Allah (AJ) is describing that, ‘My reflection is perfectly reflected through your reality.’ That’s why “Khuluqal ‘azheem” – ‘You are of a magnificent character.’ There is no impurity and imperfection. “Hudan lil Muttaqeen.” What is that? “Alif, Laam, Meem. Dhaalikal kitaabu laa rayba feeh.”
(٢) الم ﴿١﴾ ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
2:1-2 – “Alif, Laam, Meem. (1) Dhaalikal kitaabu laa rayba feeh, hudal lil muttaqeen. (2)” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“Alif, Lam, Meem. This is the Book that there is no doubt/crookedness in it, it is a guidance for pious people who are conscious of Allah.” (The Cow, 2:1-2)
‘There is no crookedness in your kitab (book). You are My walking book. You are the walking reflection. There is nothing of an imperfection within you ﷺ. As a result you perfectly reflect Divinely Presence.’
“.قَالَتْ السَّيِّدَةُ عَائِشَةَ عَلّيِهِ السّلاَمْ:” كَانَ قُرْأنًا يَمْشِي عَلَى الأَرْضِ
Qalat as Sayyidatu ‘Ayishata (as): ‘Kana Quranan yamshi ‘ala al ard.”
The beloved lady ‘Ayisha (as) (wife of prophet Muhammad ﷺ) said: “He (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) was a walking Qur’an on earth.”
When You’re Running to Prophet ﷺ, You’re Actually Running to Allah (AJ)
So as you’re running to Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ, in actuality you are running to Allah’s (AJ) reflection to you. It is only but one light. There are no two. If they understood that, they would understand tawheed. There is not but two, there are no two lights. It is one light. The ocean of La ilaha illAllah that everyone wants to search for, Allah (AJ) said, ‘You can’t get that reality, the purified, the perfected reality except through the door of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.’ With no imperfection it reflects towards creation.
The Satellites of Prophet ﷺ and the System of Reflection
Then all the lovers and awliya (Saints), Sahabi (Holy companions of Prophet ﷺ) and Ahlul Bayt (Holy Family of Prophet ﷺ) above all, they were the satellites of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. As a result of their existence the ones whom heard and saw that source of light they became so purified in their soul and their reality that they perfectly reflected the light of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. That’s why Prophet ﷺ described, ‘My companions are all like stars means I purified them, I’m reflecting my light through them. Any one of them that you follow you will be guided.’
“.قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : “أَصْحَابِيْ كَالنُّجُـــومْ بِأَيْهِمْ اَقْتَدَيْتِمْ اَهْتَدَيْتِمْ
Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ: “Ashabi kan Nujoom, bi ayyihim aqta daytum ahta daytum.”
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “My companions are like stars. Whoever among them you follow, you will be rightly guided.”
Because these are all satellites from Prophet’s ﷺ presence. They are reflections of Allah’s (AJ) light. Because remember it is just one source – Allah (AJ) sending one light. It hits to Muhammad Rasulullah ﷺ and perfectly reflects back out. Whoever Prophet ﷺ is sending that light to – again that is from Allah (AJ) – and then they send it back out and then they send it back out.
Cleansed by the Light of Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ
All those whom kept the way and kept their love and kept coming and cleaning, coming and cleaning they’re asking also to be dressed by that satellite. As a result as soon as that light began to hit them, it begin to wash them, cleanse them, take every badness away from them and it comes from the door of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. As his light comes begins to clean and take away the imperfections of the mirror. “Shahidan, Mubashshiran wa nazeeran.”
(٤٥) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
33:45 – “Ya ayyuhan Nabiyu inna arsalnaka Shahidan wa Mubashshiran wa Nazeera.” (Surat Al-Ahzab)
“O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a Witness and a Bearer of Glad Tidings and a Warner.” (The Combined Forces, 33:45)
Witnessed, Blessed, and Purified by Muhammadan Light
Allah (AJ) describing the soul of Prophet ﷺ, ‘When his soul’s light comes to you he is a witness over you.’

He is witness – “Shahidan.” This is all Qur’an.- “Mubashshiran” – Mubashshiran means immense amounts of beatific lights are being reflected upon because his light is coming and Mubashshir, he is sending all these blessings and blessings upon the soul.
- “Nazeeran” – that his lights cleaning every imperfection on your satellite and you are being dressed by Allah’s (AJ) light. Because Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ first comes, the light of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ comes, cleans, purifies. Then the light of Allah (AJ) begin to dress upon the soul imperfection.
We pray that Allah (AJ) grant us this love, grant us the immensity of these blessings, grant us a heart to understand these realities and to be dressed by these realities inshaAllah.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
