أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ٱلْرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Wa illa Sahiboz Zaman Sayyidina Muhammadel Mahdi (as), wa Ruhollah Sayyidina ‘Isa (as), wa Sayfollah Sayyidina ‘Ali (as), thumma Sayyidina Abu Bakr (as), Sayyidina Umar (as), Sayyidina Uthman (as), wa Imam al Hassan (as), Imam al Hussain (as) wa Sayyidatina Fatima Zahra (as) fi barakutuh shahre mubarak fi barakutuh Laylatul Mubarak Laylatul Nisf e Sha’ban, Madad Imam Mahdi (as).

May Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us, our families, our children and communities and write for us a good destiny and to take away difficulties, hardships and sicknesses. InshaAllah, fi barakutuh this night. Whatever peoople are asking and making du’as (supplications), that Allah (AJ) accept those duas and accept our forgiveness, our maghfirah in asking for repentance from Allah (AJ) for the things we’ve done in the craziest spiritual year and that to write for us the goodness and blessedness and in deeds that would make Allah (AJ) happy and draws near to the presence and the love of Sayyidina Muhammad on this blessed night and these blessed actions. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.

Recite Surah YaSeen Three Times to Honour Nisf e Sha’ban

InshaAllah, from the awrad of Nisf e Sha’ban (Mid Sha’ban), everybody has the app. They can go to our app and lots of new additions are coming, mashAllah, for this spiritual year with lots of new designs and blessings and ease of use. That Allah (AJ), inshaAllah, make it easy for people to navigate and make it a way towards the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

InshaAllah, we’ll be reciting three times Surat Al-YaSeen. First intention for long life in our faith in Islam and with good faith and love and yaqeen (certainty). The second time we’ll be reading Surat Al-YaSeen with intention of protection from calamities. The third intention of reading Surat Al-YaSeen is receiving one’s sustenance without the reliance of mankind and hindrance from men and that Allah’s (AJ) ‘Azimat (Magnificence) bring our sustenance to ourselves, to our hearts and to our families and communities.

Surah YaSeen is the Heart of Holy Qur’an and Takes Us Into the Heart of Prophet ﷺ

The heart of the Divinely heart of Rajab, the Divinely heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and the Divinely heart of Ramadan and the Bani Adam (children of Adam). From these three realities, we pray that Allah (AJ) open and dress us from its immensities. We’ll begin to recite Surat Al-YaSeen and then our reciters will recite du’a (supplication) that comes directly after that. Then Haji Yahya, you can recite the English, inshaAllah, for the first time. Then the second and third time, it’s okay. So, inshaAllah, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem bi siri Surat Al-YaSeen, inshaAllah.

InshaAllah, Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us from the immensity of this night. Alhamdulillah, from the immensity of Surat Al-YaSeen. That when the recitation of Surat Al-YaSeen is the heart of Holy Qur’an and the realities of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and by its recitation, takes us into that heart of Prophet ﷺ to be dressed by the immensity of Manzil ul Qur’an (where the Holy Qur’an emanates), that where Allah’s (AJ) oceans of power and qudra flowing into the qalb (heart) and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. It means the immensity of the power of Surat Al-YaSeen and how it takes the servant and brings them into these oceans of light and blessings.

All of Holy Qur’an Comes Through Surah Al-Fatiha

The heart of Surat Al-YaSeen is Surah Fatiha and the immensities of Surat Al-Fatiha, which is like the essence of Holy Qur’an. That everything in Holy Qur’an is coming through these seven holy verses and seven waterfalls of reality. That from every verse, all the verses of Qur’an are coming through this immense, like a waterfall of immense realities. That, alhamdulillah, that Allah (AJ) give us this way of ishq and muhabbat. The secret of love has an immense, immense reality in what we call the spiritual bond. That you be with whom you love means the love that you have for the shaykh is not the same as the shaykh has love for you because the shaykh’s love is for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: … فَقَالَ (رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ): ” أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ.” [اَلْمَصْدَرْ: مُسْلِمْ ٧٥٢٠ ]

‘An Anasin (ra): … Faqala (Rasulullahi) ﷺ: “Anta ma’a man ahbabta.”

Narrated Anas ibn Malik (ra) that …the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “You will be with whom you love.” [Source: Muslim 7520]

Keep the Love of Your Shaykhs as They Focus on the Love of Prophet ﷺ

But by means of that love, you’re attaching your reality to their reality. Their reality attached to the reality of their shaykhs all the way to the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. For us to even visualize it, only by means of this love and ishq and muhabbat by whom we’ve chosen in our life to love. We don’t have to remember everybody in our prayers. They have to remember us. For us to take our love back and try to remember everybody is not necessary. It means this Hadith of ‘You be with whom you love’ is that with good character, if they love you, they’ll be entitled to a share of the benefit that is dressed upon you.

It’s not our responsibility to go back and look for everybody and to pray for them. They have to keep their love to the shaykh. They keep their love to the one whom they believe will represent them in that reality. This is how they’re being dressed by the presence of Prophet ﷺ, by the immensity of their love; not by their aqel (intellect) and their thought, but by their love that made a bond to their shaykhs and their shaykhs to the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. For us to even visualize for like our graphic artist people, it’s what ship are you on? Is that ship moving in that direction and going to have an audience with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ? It means those ships whom have immense muhabbat. “Fulkil mashhoon.”

﴾وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّ‌يَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ ﴿٤١

36:41 – “Wa ayatul lahum anna hamalna dhurriyyatahum fil fulkil mashhooni.” (Surat YaSeen)

“And a sign for them is that we have carried their atoms/forefathers in the loaded ship.” (YaSeen, 36:41)

Board Upon Your Shaykh’s Ship With Sincere Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

They have immense muhabbat (love) on these holy nights. They are all docked in the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. As Prophet ﷺ is reciting and receiving because everything is being written on the holy soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. As these recitations of Surat Al-YaSeen are opening all these beatific emanations in the presence and the heart of Prophet ﷺ, these big ships are all docked at the heart of Prophet ﷺ. By virtue of being in that proximity, then the tajallis (manifestation) and the lights of Prophet ﷺ are dressed upon them. As a result of whoever’s on the shaykh’s ship is being dressed upon them. The entry to that ship was what? Was just love, muhabbat. Have good character. Have respect. Open your heart to love them.

It’s not they reciprocate love to you. Their focus is on Prophet ﷺ. It’s the student’s responsibility to open their heart and make their connection. If their connection is true, it’s not by their mind thinking but the proof in their connection is only the soul knows if it’s true. When their heart knows and their soul knows that they have a love for this guide, they’re attached to that guide. Their soul is on the ship of that guide. As that ship is moving and entering into its docking port, everything is being dressed. Everything is being blessed by virtue of being on that ship.

Your Love of Prophet ﷺ Grants You a Free Ticket to Divine Realities

We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us from the immensities of light, the immensities of sincerity, the immensities of this way. This ticket to realities cost nothing. It’s only based on muhabbat and ishq. When the servant loves, they love in sincerity. They wish to serve. They serve with what Allah (AJ) has given to them. Whatever provision Allah (AJ) has given to them, they say, ‘Okay, this I want to give to service. This time I have, I want to give to service.’

We said it’s even as easy as just, ‘My fingers will be in your service, Sayyidi. I don’t have anything but my fingers and I’m going to start to share’. This khidmat (service) opens this rahmat (mercy). We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us from the immensities and blessings of these realities of which we are nothing to receive them, but this is the reward of love and ishq and muhabbat of Allah (AJ) manifesting in the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, his Holy Companions, his Holy Family, and awliyaullah (saints) fis samayi wa fil ard (in the heavens and on earth).

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
