From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Prophet ﷺ is The Gate of Mercy
Alhamdulillah, for the holy month of Ramadan and its immense blessings. Now we’re in this holy month of immense lights and blessings, and going through the gate of rahmah and mercy. Alhamdulillah, for the teaching of awliyaullah (saints) that makes everything come together for us. That the gates of mercy is the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Anyone wishing to enter through those gates, alhamdulillah, Allah (AJ) gave to us make Durood Sharif (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). Make the salawats and praisings upon the soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.”
“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Sallim.”
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)”
Salawat (Praises Upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) is the Key to Divine Mercy
InshaAllah these immense blessings of salawat and Durood Sharif that take us to the holy presence and the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, which is a rahmah and a mercy for our soul. It brings us into that ocean, into the oceans of forgiveness. That Allah (AJ) to wash away the difficulties and the badness. And everything that shaitan (satan) attempts to put upon the soul of insan (mankind) so that to spoil their journey to this earth and the return to the heavens. As soon as the servant enters in with the intention to enter into their siyam and their fasting, then alhamdulillah Allah (AJ) dresses the servant with that rahmah and the mercy.
For those whom in the tariqahs (spiritual path) of reality and ‘ishq (love) and muhabbat (love), alhamdulillah for the knowledges that Allah (AJ) give to them of understandings. That they enter into that rahmah, enter into that mercy, and it is just the Durood Sharif. Its ticket is so easy for the servant just to keep making their salawats upon the reality of Prophet ﷺ. As a result of that proximity and that nearness, that is the rahmah that dresses the servant and allows them to fast.
Divine Reward of Fasting
Anyone trying to fast any time of the year, find it to be so difficult and so challenging and the nafs (ego) making everything to be difficult for people. But the immensity of the power of the holy month of Ramadan and the sultanate (kingdom) of 9. The sultanate of the month, the reality of how this month is to reduce everything back to a nuqt (dot). That the 1 through 8 is the whole training of the kingdom and the 9 represents the sultanate and entering into the Divinely kingdom.
All that Allah (AJ) ask of us is siyam, fast. It means abstain from something that you’re allowed to do, you’re allowed to eat. ‘I’m asking you to abstain. As a result of your abstinence, I grant you a Divinely reward that no prayer can achieve. No action can achieve it other than by Divine Grace.’ This is a month in which Allah (AJ) wants to reward. Reward His creation and the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. For all that been dressed upon the reality of Prophet ﷺ in the holy month of Rajab. The month of “Subhana man huwa Khaliq an Nur” in which the light of Allah (AJ), a hidden treasure wanting to be known.
Subhana man huwal Khaliq an Nur
(Glory to Him who is the Creator, the Light).
Qala Rasulallahi ﷺ, Qala Allah (AJ): “Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” [Hadith al Qudsi – Behar al Anwar, Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Juz’ 84, Safha 199]
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, that Allah (AJ) said: “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.” [Holy Hadith – Bihar al Anwar, by Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Volume 84, Page 199]
The Continuous Mi‘raj (Ascension) of Love
That every anniversary of that reality, Allah (AJ) dressing the wanting to be known, the secrets of creation upon the reality of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. As that light is in a continuous Mi’raj into the presence of “La ilaha illAllah” (There is no deity but Allah (AJ)) moving into that reality. Then the ‘ashiqeen (lovers) and muhibbin (lovers of the way) whom have a love for Prophet ﷺ are in a continuous Mi’raj into the reality in the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Allah (AJ) grants this nation that dress by virtue of their fasting. So whom fasts for Allah (AJ), the reward is coming directly from the Divinely Presence.
Fasting with All Senses
We described before: those whom fast with their mouth but in reality they’re asking to be from muttaqeen (those with high level of consciousness) – those whom Allah (AJ) has favored. That they learn to fast with all their five senses; they fast with their ears, they fast with their eyes, they fast with their hands and with their feet. They fast with their senses. They fast with their smell. They fast with all five senses of their reality so that Allah (AJ) dress all their senses from the immensity of these oceans. That Allah (AJ) open for them the holy Hadith that, ‘When they did their mandatory and they approached through voluntary worship, I became the eyes in which they see. The ears in which they hear.’
It means the eyes in which they see, and the Divinely Eyes of Allah (AJ) to be bestowed upon the servant. It requires the servant’s eyes to have been washed by fasting. The washing of fasting, its reward only comes from Allah (AJ). It is not an ‘amal, action that we do and we get the reward of eyesight. But Allah (AJ) granting that just abstain means control your vision and bring your eyes into a state of fasting. ‘As a result of the fasting, I become the eyes in which you see.’ Then Allah (AJ) gives to us this holy Hadith that ‘I become the tongue in which you speak. The breath in which you breathe, the ears in which you hear, the hands in which you touch. The feet in which you move.’ All of these are based on the senses that Allah (AJ) has granted them from their abstinence.
‘An Abi Hurairah (ra) qala, Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ : InnAllaha ta’ala qala: “ Wa maa taqarrubi ilayya ‘abdi be shayin ahubba ilayya memma iftaradhtu ‘alayhi. Wa la yazaalu ‘abdi yataqarrabu ilayya binnawafile hatta uhebbahu, fa iza ahbabtuhu kunta Sam’ahul lazi yasma’u behi, wa Basarahul lazi yubsiru behi, wa Yadahul lati yabteshu beha, wa Rejlahul lati yamshi beha. Wa la in sa alani la a’teyannahu, …” [Hadith al Qudsi, Sahih al Bukhari, Raqam: 6502)
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) that: the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said that: Allah the Almighty said: “… My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts of worship so that I shall love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask (something) of Me, I would surely give it to him, …” [Holy Hadith, Authentic by al-Bukhari, # 6502]
Fast with All Senses to Become Rabbaniyoon (Lordly Souls)
That when they abstain and purify their hearing, purify their sight, purify their breath. Purify their sense of touch that they don’t need the touch of dunya (material world) and the hawa of dunya, the desires of the material world. When they abstain what they can from that desire, Allah (AJ) grants them then the Divinely senses. The Divinely hearings, the Divinely seeings. So much so that they become rabbaniyoon and that their will follows the will of Allah (AJ), the will of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. They’re trained in the will by Ulul Amr (saints) and as a result they have power of “Kun faya koon.”
36:82 – “Innama AmruHu idha Arada shay an, an yaqola lahu kun faya koon.” (Surat YaSeen)
“His command is when He intends a thing, He says to it, “Be,” and it is!” (YaSeen, 36:82)
Attaining Muttaqeen Status Through Purification of the Senses
So means, these are the immense gifts that Allah (AJ) wants to dress to the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. This dress of cleaning the ears, cleaning the eyes, cleaning the breath. Cleaning the hands, cleaning the feet, cleaning the entire sense of sensation. So that Allah (AJ) grant them to be muttaqeen that they are of a pure nature and sincere nature. As a result of that dress, they draw near to the presence of Prophet ﷺ. But how can one senses that have not been in abstinence, how they can be dressed by Allah’s (AJ) Divinely eyes and Divinely hearings means Allah’s (AJ) Divinely grace upon their senses? We pray that Allah (AJ) grant us the understanding, grant us the himmah (zeal) and the strength to reach towards Allah’s (AJ) satisfaction. Reach towards the satisfaction of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Reach towards the understanding of Ulul Amr in which they inspire and teach within our hearts to achieve these levels and these realities.
Ramadan is a Month of Immense Good Deeds, Propagate the Love of Prophet ﷺ
This is the month of immense charity, immense blessings, immense goodness. That we compete with one another in good deeds and good actions. We try our best to propagate the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. It means everything has its responsibility that all that we do and the charity that we do and the da’wah (religious propagation) that we do, Allah (AJ) holds us to account. That everyone should do da’wah. Everyone should spread the message and the word. The good word through good actions and good deeds. Alhamdulillah, that they made it easy for us by just posting the articles, posting the videos. Trying to do what we can to spread a good message and a good example of the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ through patience and tolerance.
Good Character as a Shield in the Path
As a result of the path and putting out the good word, we come across so many of the bad character people, which for us is always a way to say: ‘Alhamdulillah, but not for the grace of Allah (AJ) I would have been like that.’ So when we see the bad, it gives us a time to appreciate what Allah (AJ) has truly given to us. That Allah’s (AJ) grace and mercy that put us on a path to have good character and good manners. Not the backbiting and gossiping and talking bad of others. That so many people find it necessary to do as shaitan pouring gas upon their head and lighting them. That you find that people in the month of Ramadan engaging in gossiping, backbiting, and slandering. This only is a sign from shaitan that, ‘I’m going to burn this one.’
We pray, and that’s why it is a gratefulness to ourselves that when we see such actions that Allah (AJ) truly saved us. Truly saved us from difficulties and ‘azaab (punishment) and made for our graves to be filled with light. Because anytime we do good and abstain from badness, then we come to the realization of how much light will be in the grave. How others put such difficulty upon themself and what type of difficulties people will encounter within their grave. We pray that Allah (AJ) continue to bless us all, dress us all with the love and the ‘ishq of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Keep us under the nazar (gaze) of awliyaullah, Holy Companions and Ahlul Bayt (Holy Family of Prophet ﷺ), and the nazar of all pious people. That they keep us under their tutelage, under their hearts. Under their prayers, and continue to inspire within our hearts, inshaAllah.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
