Your Key to Success is in the Presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Fast With All Senses in Ramadan
Alhamdulillah, that inshaAllah, Ramadan opening soon. We pray that Allah (AJ) grant us the immense lights and rahmah (mercy) of Ramadan and grant us the ability to enter into the state of fasting and to the state of immense lights and blessings. That Allah (AJ) allow us to fast with our ears and with our eyes and with our breath and with our touch and with every sense so that the sense of taste opens its reality and the taste of dunya (material world) to drop and the taste of akhirah (hereafter) to increase.
InshaAllah, the first ten days of Ramadan are rahmah (mercy).
‘An Salman al Farsi (ra), an Rasulullahi ﷺ qala: “Shahru Ramadana awwalahu rahmatun, wa awsatuhu maghfiratun, wa akhiruhu ‘itqun minan naar.” [Al Imam al Albani, Meshkat al Masabih, Kitab 7, Hadith 9]
Narrated by Salman al Farsi (ra), that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “The first (ten days) of the month of Ramadan is mercy, the middle (ten days) is forgiveness, and the last (ten days) is salvation/freedom from the fire.”
[Al Imam al Albani, Meshkat al Masabih, Book 7, Hadith 9]
The Presence of Prophet ﷺ is the Key to Success

Alhamdulillah, that this path of gnosticism, this path of realities teaches that that rahmah (mercy) is the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and that having that love, understanding that love. The people of durood sharif (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) making salawats (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and praisings upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ open that proximity and open the immense rahmah and mercy upon the soul.
It’s that very proximity to the Muhammadan light that inspires people and grants them a himmah and a zeal in which to achieve the satisfaction of Allah (AJ). Without that light and without that presence, the himmah (zeal) of people drop and the zeal to conquer and to reach higher states of realities drops. It means that the presence of Prophet ﷺ is the key to success. That when Allah (AJ) wants to guide a servant, He guides to His love. The secret of His love is contained within the vessel and vehicle and the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Allah (AJ) Guides Us Towards Prophet ﷺ to Bring Us Near to Him
It means immensity of that reality, that when Allah (AJ) wants to grant somebody faith, wants to grant somebody himmah and strength; not only that Allah (AJ) inspire them that, ‘Leave your multiple gods. Leave your idolatry and come to My Oneness,’ but Allah (AJ) wants to guide the creation to the one whom embodies that Oneness of Allah (AJ), embodies the realities of Allah (AJ), embodies the names and attributes of Allah (AJ).
It’s a reflection of that immense reality. By Allah (AJ) putting that love into their hearts and the desire in their heart to draw near to the presence of Prophet ﷺ, as a result, it’s an immense ocean of rahmah (mercy) that maybe the tongue doesn’t have the ability to explain. That when Allah (AJ) wants to bring the servant near, He inspires them to the love of Prophet ﷺ. As a result, they have this yearning. They have this seeking and desire.
Making Salawats Illuminates the Heart With Muhammadan Light
Then they’re taught to make their salawats (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). They’re taught to read about the life of Prophet ﷺ. They begin to have a yearning for that presence. As a result of that yearning and that presence, the light of Prophet ﷺ begins to shine into their hearts. As a result of that light, they begin to have a zeal, a himmah, a desire in which to move closer to Allah (AJ). He’s giving his inheritance to those whom coming on this way.
That’s the immensity of what awliyaullah (saints) understood that it’s not themselves. That when left to themselves and to their own desires and their own light, it’s all based on nafs (ego). When one leaves the understanding of oneself, the importance of oneself and Allah (AJ) begins to direct them to the perfection of this creation. That, that Muhammadan light, every time they make a salawat, that light enters into your heart and soul. By means of that light entering inside of you, it is the very strength of success.
Everything is Based on the Secret of Durood Sharif
“Idha jaa a Nasrullahi wal Fath.” “Inna fatahna laka Fatham Mubeenan.”
110:1 – “Idha jaa a Nasrullahi wal Fath.” (Surat An-Nasr)
“When there comes the Divine Support of Allah and the Victory.” (The Divine Support, 110:1)
48:1 – “Inna fatahna laka Fatham Mubeena.” (Surat Al-Fath)
“Verily We have granted you [Muhammad (pbuh)]a manifest Victory.” (The Victory, 48:1)
All of these ayatul kareem (the generous verse of Holy Qur’an) is a description of Allah (AJ) showing that there’s a victory that will come to you. There’s an opening that will come to you. The one who himself is the embodiment of victory, the one whom is the embodiment of this beatific light of guidance that Allah (AJ) inspiring within us is bring that light into you. The easiest conveyance to get rid of your light and to bring the light of Prophet ﷺ is by your durood sharif (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and your salawat an Nabi ﷺ. Every time you make and you busy yourself, anytime you feel down, every time you feel your light is not strong enough, you have no himmah. Every answer that for every sickness, there’s an answer. Every answer contains the light of Prophet ﷺ. So, everything is based on the secret of durood.
Keep the Muhammadan Light Within Yourself
We say, “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad” is in reality you’re sending yourself out and sending Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ inside. So, like when your light goes to visit Prophet ﷺ, my light is worth nothing. It means that what I’m in need it, let it leave.
“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Sallim.”
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)”
But the inhabitant that comes that from paradise of the reality of Prophet ﷺ, that which comes is to keep and to keep that within ourselves, to keep that presence within ourselves. It means that becomes the reality and the ma’rifah (gnosticism) understanding of tawheed (oneness) because the first level of Islamic law is tawheed. “La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ” and that must be in everything.
“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah”
“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
Durood Sharif Helps Us Focus on La Ilaha IllAllah Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ
So, when I rid myself of myself with my durood (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) because I’m asking for myself, ‘Go to the presence of Prophet ﷺ and give your greeting.’ Well, when I go, the badness will leave and in exchange, the goodness and beatific reality and the mercy of Allah (AJ) which is known as Muhammadan Rasulallah ﷺ will enter in. That’s why Allah (AJ) describes in verses of Qur’an that hudan, that he’s a guidance, a source of enlightenment, one whom teaches you. What? It’s the Muhammadan light.
2:1-2 – “Alif, Laam, Meem. (1) Zaalikal kitaabu laa rayba feeh, hudal lil muttaqeen. (2)” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“Alif, Lam, Meem. This is the Book that there is no doubt/crookedness in it, it’s a guidance for pious people who are conscious of Allah.” (The Cow, 2:1-2)
That as soon as you make durood sharif and from unimaginable understandings, this just but a drop of an ocean. That as soon as you’re making “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad wa sallim wa salim,” it means that these immense lights are entering. All the different types of durood sharif is the immense light of Prophet ﷺ entering and ridding ourself of ourself because we don’t want the self in the kalimah (testimony). What we want to exist in the reality of La ilaha illAllah wa Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.
Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) Understood the Reality of Tawheed
So, our beloved father Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as), the father of Naqshbandiya tul ‘Aliya (The Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Order), represents that station. When they went and said, ‘What you’re going to give to Prophet ﷺ?’ They were calling for the battle and each companion came with what they wanted to come with. Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) came with his entire existence. Prophet ﷺ asked that, ‘What, ya Abu Bakr, what you left for your family?’
‘An Sayyidina ‘Umar ibni al Khatabi (as) qala: Amarana Rasulallahi ﷺ an natasaddaqa,…Wa ata Abu Bakrin (as) bi kulli ma ‘indahu. Faqala ﷺ: “Ya Aba Bakrin ma abqayta li ahlika?
Qala: “Abqaytu lahumu Allaha wa Rasulahu.” [Sunan At Tirmidhi 3675]
Sayyidina ‘Umar ibn al Khattab (as) reported: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) ordered us to give charity…Sayyidina Abu Bakr (as) came with everything he had.
The Prophet (pbuh) said, “O Abu Bakr, what have you left for your family?” Abu Bakr said, “Allah and his messenger.”
[Sunan At Tirmidhi 3675]
Who’s the family? Ourselves that we inherit from this tariqah (spiritual path). That all whom are listening to this and listening to the guidance of tariqah, find their attraction to Naqshbandiya tul ‘Aliya, find their love to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ that the gift that was granted to us and what Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) was talking to because we told you what the companion saw last night.
Every Word of Prophet ﷺ Was a Command to His Holy Companions
When Prophet ﷺ said, ‘I have those whom love me’. We have to understand in this way of ma’rifah (gnosticism) that when Prophet ﷺ talks to these Companions, they are completely witnessing that reality and he’s calling them. Like you imagine that the Qutubs (cardinal poles) enter and they find their guidance and direction and what they’re supposed to be doing from Prophet ﷺ, but imagine then Holy Companions.
That as soon as Prophet ﷺ is talking from here or from universes in heaven that every, every word is a command. That these are the masters of Ulul Amr (saints) that stand that attention for that command. He said, ‘Let me show you a group whom from my nation are my muhibbin (lovers of the way) and ‘ashiqeen (lovers) and that they love me’.
‘An Ansi bin Malik (ra) Qala, Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ:“Mata alqa Ahbabi?
Faqala Ashabuhu: bi abina anta wa ammena, aw lasna ahbabak?
Faqala ﷺ : Antum Ashabi, Ahbabi, qawmun lam yarawni wa aamano bi, wa ana ilayhim bil ashwaqil aksar.”
Narrated by Anas Ibn Malik, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “When would I meet my beloveds?
The holy companions said: May our fathers and mothers be sacrificed for you, aren’t we your beloveds?
The prophet (pbuh) said: you are my companions. My beloveds are those who had never seen me and believed in me. And I am deeply longing for them”. [Source: Musnad Al Ferdaus (4/148)]
People Will Look to Those of Luminous Lights As If They See Allah (AJ) (Holy Qur’an, 75:22-23)
What the Companions and the Holy Companions saw of that reality at that time? That he looked to their light and thought they were prophets of Allah (AJ). The Holy Companions, when they saw the lights, what they thought of these lights that they saw? They looked at the lights and say, ‘Are these prophets (as) of Allah (AJ)?’ Their lights illuminate with such a luminescence. No, but no.
What they contained was the love of Prophet ﷺ. That their love shines so much, so powerful the ayatul Qur’an (the generous verse of Holy Qur’an) in which Allah (AJ) describes that on Yawmul Mahshar (Judgement Day) is that they shine with a light and people will look to their lights as if they are seeing Allah (AJ). But they can’t see Allah (AJ). The most that the heart can see and to witness of realities is Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ; the immensities of these lights, the immensities of these blessings.
75:22-23 – “Wujoohuny yawma ‘izin naadirah. (22) Ilaa rabbihaa naazirah. (23)”
“[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, (22) Looking at their Lord. (23)” (The Resurrection, 75:22-23)
Establish God’s Kingdom Upon Your Heart and Soul
So then imagine when these lights enter into the wujud (existence), into the soul of people by simply the tasbih (prayer beads) and making durood sharif. That the light comes, Allah’s (AJ) victorious light begins to enter into the soul of people, fighting and destroying every darkness within them, pushing out the darkness, destroying every badness, destroying every bad character so that to establish God’s kingdom on Earth. It means the reality of that prayer that they ask, ‘Oh my Lord, make your kingdom to come upon this Earth as it is in heaven,’ is the salawat on Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
That anyone making durood sharif, anyone praising upon the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is bringing the kingdom of Allah (AJ) upon their very heart and soul. As a result of that light that enters in within the person, it establishes like a flag – the kingdom of Allah (AJ) upon the soul and the heart of the person. The more they make it, the more the praise upon it, that light begins to enter and dispel and take every zulumat (oppression) and every darkness away from the servant the truth and falsehood, they don’t go together.
17:81 – “Wa qul jaa alhaqqu wa zahaqal baatil, innal batila kana zahoqa.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed falsehood, [by its nature], is ever perishing/bound to perish.” (The Night Journey, 17:81)
Salawats are the Key to Every Success and Sickness
It means the truth of Allah (AJ) is Nurul Muhammadi ﷺ (the light of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). The more we can fill ourselves with that light, the more the darkness has to be pushed away with durood sharif, with Burdah Sharif, with Dalail ul Khairat (book of praising on Prophet ﷺ). All of these salawats and nasheeds (songs of praise) are the key to every success, the key to every sickness. You don’t… you feel down, make your durood. You feel you have no himmah (zeal), make your durood. You have no money, make your durood. You have no brain, make lots of durood.
Replace your brain with your heart filled with the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. You’re sick, make durood sharif. “Isma hu dawas wa Zikr hu shafas”. That, ‘Your name is my medicine and the zikr (Divine remembrance) of you is my healing’.
“يَا مَنْ اسْمُهُ دَوَاءٌ، وَذِكْرُهُ شِفَاءٌ…” [دُعَاءٌ كُمَيِلْ – بِحَارُ الْأنْوَارْ أَلْعَلَامَةْ اَلْمَجْلِسِي]
“Ya man ismuhu dawa un wa zikruhu shifa un…” [Du’a e Kumayel – Beharul Anwar- AlAlama AlMajlesi , Ch. 92. P. 67]
“O He, whose name is a remedy, and whose remembrance is a healing/cure…” (Supplication of Kumayel, The book of Beharul Anwar, Ch. 92, P. 67)
Because that zikr is in the ocean of tawheed because how you make the salawat on Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ? It’s “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad”. It’s Allah (AJ) always first and that’s the secret that Allah (AJ) gave to us.
“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Sallim.”
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)”
We Cannot Mention Allah (AJ) Without Mentioning Prophet ﷺ
That’s why Allah (AJ) is telling us to do that because Allah (AJ) doesn’t take us out of tawheed. Allah (AJ) is teaching us the real tawheed is, ‘Don’t mention Me without Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ or you’re from another nation and another nation. You’re not from this nation. Mention Me only with the name of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ included.’ Because that’s our Kalima at Tawheed (Testimony of Oneness).
“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah”
“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
This is the phrase of Oneness. La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ is the key that Allah (AJ) gave to us. So every durood and every salawat is Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad”. It’s “Allahumma” – it’s praising upon Allah (AJ) in the way that He wants to be praised and by mentioning Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ like a key with notches on it. That the key came in, it mentioned Allah’s (AJ) name always first, Allah’s (AJ) Supreme and as soon as it says, ‘Muhammadun Rasulallah wa ahlihi wa ashabihi,’ enters into everything, opens every difficulty.
Durood Sharif is the Solution for All Our Difficulties
So there’s no need to ask, ‘What I do for this? What I do for that?’ But you can ask for entertainment purposes, but you’re not getting it when you ask so that’s why they’re asking you to ask because they get the system is giving clear to the doctors who are observing, ‘That person still doesn’t get it.’ Otherwise; why they’re asking? Your money not coming in, make durood sharif. Your healing is not coming, you’re seeing scary things, make durood sharif.
Every sickness and difficulty make durood sharif upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and we’re talking about in the thousands not ten people that come say, ‘I make ten, my son is hafiz (one who memorized Qur’an).’ For what? Teach your children to make ten thousand, twenty thousand durood sharif. Yourself ten thousand, twenty thousand durood sharif so that everything in your life is set with the light of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.
You Can Only Unlock Holy Qur’an With the Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
By now we should have gotten the understanding, if you teach your children Qur’an and they don’t know anything of Prophet ﷺ, you actually made them the people of furqan (book of right and wrong). Where they’re going to grow up and be angry and tough on everything because all you taught them and all they memorized was the book of right and wrong. You go to them and say, ‘Do you make durood?’ They say, ‘What?’
So, it means the two elements they don’t go without each other. Anyone who wants to read Holy Qur’an must do an excessive amount of durood sharif and salawat upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Why? So, that the light of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ enters every crevice of their being to push away the shaitan that makes them sick, to push away the shaitan that cuts their rizq (sustenance), to push away the shaitans that are attacking and giving them waswas (whispering). As a result of the Muhammadan light that enters into them, when they read the furqan mixed with the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, now it activates the Holy Qur’an and becomes a nur (light).
Salawats are a Weapon in Dajjalic Times
From its qaf and the oceans of power to the noon and the light in which it sends out to all of creation. These luminous beings then they become like suns on a dark night, like stars on a dark night. That’s why shaitan attacks it. That’s why shaitan tells people not to do it. That’s why people of the shaitanic teachings they say, ‘No need for it,’ because shaitan knows what burns him. If shaitan had no problem with it, he wouldn’t be talking. He would stay silent on the subject.
But anything and anything that these people of shaitanic teachings come against, there must be a secret. Since we’re in the last days and the dajjal (man of deceit) system is firmly on Earth and he’s walking and about to declare himself and declare his residence where there’s already people living. As a result of knowing that, then we know our weapon, our power is in the enlightening and opening of Allah’s (AJ) Majesty and Allah’s (AJ) rida and satisfaction with durood sharif and salawat upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Don’t Leave the Companionship of Prophet ﷺ
So, as we enter into Ramadan, the success for Ramadan is durood sharif, that make lots of durood sharif. “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad”. Al-Fattah ur Rahmah – that open up from your oceans of rahmah that that rahmah dress and that I can enter into the gate of mercy, to be dressed by Allah’s (AJ) immense mercies, immense mercies. Whether sick or able, not able, ya Rabbi, just grant the rahmah and the mercy so that that light of Prophet ﷺ can grant us a zeal and a himmah to accomplish what Allah (AJ) wants us to accomplish. It can only be accomplished with the companionship of the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
As a result of that companionship, then we are the most successful people upon this Earth. If we leave that companionship, we are the most ridiculed and beaten and humiliated people upon Earth where our life is not more than 25 cents for a bullet in the head because they left the companionship of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. With the companionship and the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the Earth will tremble from the might and majesty and the power of the Heavenly Kingdom upon this Earth. We pray that Allah (AJ) complete His ni’mat and His blessings and to dress us from this gate of mercy and this gate and love and ishq Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
