From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Surrender Like the Farsh (Carpet), Ready for Prophet’s ﷺ Holy Qadam (Foot)
The salah (prayer) of Sayyidina Dawood (as) and Sayyidina Sulaiman (as) is that beyond the sajda (prostration), they would lie complete flat onto the ground and ask Allah (AJ) that, ‘I am completely in submission to You. That like a carpet, I can’t move. Keep your feet upon me and perfect my surrender.’ It means that at times see ourselves in the presence of Rauza e Sharif (holy burial chamber) that not only in my sujood (prostration) I’m complete like a farsh, like a carpet surrendering. Ya Sayyidi Ya Rasulul Kareem (The Most Generous Messenger) if you don’t keep your nazar (gaze) upon me, we will be lost. If you don’t keep your qadam and holy qadam upon me so that this light of taslim (submission) enters into my heart. “sallu ‘alayhi wa sallimu taslima” can only be achieved with taslim. “Alahumma Sali ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala ali Sayyidina Muhammad, Salu alaihi wa salimu taslim.”
33:56 – “InnAllaha wa malayikatahu yusalluna ‘alan Nabiyi yaa ayyuhal ladhina aamanu sallu ‘alayhi wa sallimu taslima.” (Surat Al-Ahzab)
“Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet [Muhammad ﷺ]: O you that believe! Send your blessings upon him, and salute him with all respect.” (The Combined Forces, 33:56)
We Need Prophet’s ﷺ Intervention for Allah (AJ) to be Pleased with Us
That I’m following your command of Allah (AJ) and laying myself at your threshold. Not only my sujood but my whole body in front of you that, like a carpet, that have pity upon me. That see that I can not submit. I can not stop my bad practices. I can not stop my anger. I can not do anything that is pleasing to Allah (AJ) without you intervening. At least put your foot upon me and intervene in my character. My wildness. It is the wildness within us that is moving everything and going in every direction but the right direction.
Seek the Straight Path Through Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
So, this taslim is if Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ holy qadam because it has a lot of spiritual reality. Don’t think from the physical only, that we’re asking for the foot but we’re asking for this holy qadam in which he is Sayyidina Siratal Mustaqim alaihi salatu salaam (The Straight Path). That, if that qadam begin to enter onto your soul, everything about your being to be from Siratal Mustaqim. That your qadam upon me so that my soul, my body all enter into istiqam, firmness and taslim. That once that holy foot begin to dress me, your hand will dress me and Allah’s (AJ) power begin to enter into me. That your hand to be onto my tongue.
Allah (AJ) Sent Us to be Ghulams (Servants) to Prophet ﷺ
This means that at Rauza e Sharif, it is not ending there. It is continuously asking Prophet ﷺ that I’m here, I’m your ghulam. I have nowhere to go. Allah (AJ) has bought me and sold me to you as your servant. I am your ghulam and a King says, ‘You have no will.’ You do what the King tells you to do. Allah (AJ) has sent me to be of service to you, I am your ghulam. Dress me, bless me that please even put your holy hand on my tongue. That make my tongue to taslim, to stop saying bad, stop talking bad. Let it to be fragranced with your holy fragrance so that only beatific praisings come and my mouth will become sweet from your love.
Sweetness of the Tongue Comes Only Through Salawat an-Nabi ﷺ (Praisings on Prophet ﷺ)
What makes somebody’s speech to be sweet? It is the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Allah’s (AJ) love comes through the door of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. When Allah (AJ) wants to give love and muhabbat, its the reality, its pitcher and vehicle or vessel in which it comes to you is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. What make your tongue to be sweet is salawat an-Nabi ﷺ. If your tongue is not sweet, the doctor who looks at you knows you’re not doing salawats. You’re not doing them sincerely. You’re not doing them enough. How can one whom is continuously, “Alahumma Sali ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala ali Sayyidina Muhammad, Alahumma Sali ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala ali Sayyidina Muhammad, Alahumma Sali ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala ali Sayyidina Muhammad” – how Allah (AJ) can’t make that tongue sweet? If that can’t make your tongue sweet, nothing will make your tongue sweet.
“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Sallim.”
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).”
Everything is at the Door of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
So, it means then everything is at the door of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That please take my tongue and take the wildness and make it sweet with your fragrance. Your foot to be upon my soul and make me into submission, into taslim. So that Allah (AJ) look at me, I’m a beautiful carpet at Your threshold. What chair and throne Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ sits upon and what beatific carpet can I make for that presence? Let me be that carpet. Allah (AJ) gave you a magnificent throne. We don’t want high station. Let me just be the farsh so that my face be down and your holy qadam to be upon me and Allah (AJ) see me in this type of taslim, He dress me with taslima. He sees the beatific quality of that submission, inshaAllah.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
