A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Nisf e Sha’ban is the Door of the Hu
A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)
“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Title for tonight is ‘Ya Rabbi, I found You.’ Oh Allah (AJ), I found You. That, alhamdulilah, the importance of Nisf e Sha’ban – just an understanding towards the immensity of that reality of Lailatul Nisf e Sha’ban – Shab al-Barat, Shab al Forgiveness, the night of forgiveness is that in this immense reality of Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan. That these 90 days of immense reality. The immense reality of these 90 days and Nisf e Sha’ban being the center most point. When it’s right at the center, it’s 45 days. Then another 45 days, end of Ramadan has to do with the secret of la ilaha illAllah Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ. That from this ocean and realities of Rajab entering into the 15 days of Sha’ban and from Sha’ban going all the way to Ramadan is the secret of la ilaha illAllah connected to, with no stop, Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ. And that Nisf e Shaban is the door of the Hu.
“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah”
“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
Allah (AJ) is a Hidden Treasure Wanting to Be Known
This means that when la ilaha illAllah – hey, waw – connects to meem. Humma, humma. And this hey of hidayat and guidance is a secret of love and the hey even has the waw inside of it, of its hidayat. In every way Allah (AJ), ‘I am a hidden treasure wanting to be known.’
“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” Hadith Qudsi
Allah (AJ) said, “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.”
And gives to us that this hidayat and guidance can only be understood by the reality of waw. So, then the true Ahle-Hu, they are all based on love. They became lost in an ocean of love. The hidayat that Allah (AJ) guided them to was dressed in the immensity of muhabbat and ishq and they saw everything beatific from Allah (AJ).
Imam Ali (as) Guards the Door to Prophet ﷺ With His Zulfiqar
Everything immense and they are ulul baab, ya ahbab, lovers, and ulul baab, the door keepers. The greatest of them in history, Imam Ali (as), where he guards the baab with zulfiqar (two-pointed sword). The zulfiqar is the heavenly, the physical manifestation, the sword of la ilaha illAllahu Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ. The physical holding of the kalimah of the lam alif is the physical holding to teach us that these people of Hu, they don’t use their head. The head is a vehicle of shaitan in which everything we want to understand, I want to explain, I want to tell you.
Siddiqiya Empty Themselves and Give Everything
And Allah (AJ) teaching, ‘No, no these people of Hu they learned long ago.’ The Siddiqiya grandfather of them, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as), taught them give everything and empty yourself. Give everything in the way and leave nothing but la ilaha illAllah Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ; don’t use your head. Give until you’re empty and all that remains of you means you gave your mind, your thoughts. You stop thinking about what you want to convey, what you want to understand. They gave everything and say, ‘I know nothing, ya Rabbi, I know nothing.’ And then they inherited a Siddiqiya (truthful) character from Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as). That you have to love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself.
“La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Truthful Ones Stay Away From Falsehood
They’re going to dress you to be truthful in your words and in your actions. Not when someone tells you the truth you say, ‘No, why don’t you cover the faults?’ That’s a lie. When they know the truth and something’s wrong, they distance away from something that’s wrong. So, if you don’t see them around because they know something’s wrong. So, they’re not here to talk and expose it because the truthfulness of their character, truth and false, they don’t get along.
17:81 – “Wa qul jaa alhaqqu wa zahaqal baatil, innal batila kana zahoqa.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed falsehood, [by its nature], is ever perishing/bound to perish.” (The Night Journey, 17:81)
As a result of truthful character, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) dresses them, blesses them, gives them to Imam Ali (as) and the process of the beheading begins. This is all spiritual for those tuning in all of a sudden at that word. The physical beheading that ‘don’t use your head.’
Beware the Unseen Devil That Destroys and Provokes Fear
What’s happening now upon this earth is not something from science. It’s not something that can be correlated with their head. They’re all saying we’re fighting an unseen enemy. This is a gift from God showing that everything you fight is an unseen enemy. They just woke up to this one fight. The greatest enemy is the unseen devil that corrupts and destroys everything that we do. So, they use their hidayat and their guidance. They use the five faculties of their guidance of what they hear, what they see, what they sense, what they breathe, what they touch; everything they use from their heart. We’re not taking guidance from their ears of what you say to them and they hear it and they listen to it, or what people show them with their eyes and they say, oh they believe it.
Because now that one-eyed box is making everyone scared. It’s telling you things that you don’t know if it’s true or false. You’re seeing things that your eyes can’t understand. Oh my gosh! People are running for toilet paper. Let us all run for toilet paper. This was a sign – they showed you one thing and everybody ran for it. There must be psychologists sitting and doing human experiments now on television. That we can provoke a fear and we can get its outcome.
Ahlul Basirah Tune Into Heavenly Channels
They lived by their eyes. Their sense of hearing is for Allah (AJ). Their sense of seeing is ahlul basirah (people of spiritual vision) that they tuned into Allah’s (AJ) television, not this television. They listen to their conscience and not the waswas (whispering) of their nafs (ego) and shaitan (satan) and all their testing and testing. Their breathing is not from this earth but they breathe from a qudra (power) and nafas ar-rahmah (breath of mercy). And as a result, they speak words that are not from this Earth broadcasting, but from heavenly channels. And Allah (AJ) made them from ahle Hu. They inherit hidayat (guidance) and wilayat (sainthood) of wadood. They are the caretakers and keepers of muhabbat and love. And as a result of that love, Allah (AJ) takes them on a journey that, ‘I was a hidden treasure wanting to be known.’ Have you found Me yet?
“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” Hadith Qudsi
Allah (AJ) said, “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.”
Don’t Ponder Allah (AJ), Look to the Best of His Creation – Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Their life was to find Allah (AJ). And Allah (AJ) and Prophet ﷺ teaching, ‘Don’t ponder about Allah (AJ) as in Allah (AJ) the creator, but look to the signs within his creation.’
‘An Abi Ja’far (as) qala: “Iyakum wat tafakkaru fillahi wa lakin idha aradtum an tunzaro ila ‘azamatihi fanzaro ila ‘azimi khalqihi.”
Abu Ja’far (A) said, “Beware of tafakkur in God. But if you wish to view His grandeur, observe the great of His creations.”
Prophet ﷺ gave a clue for Sahabi (companions). Don’t sit like the cuckoo people staring into the skies, ‘Ya Rabbi, I wonder where You are.’ That would make you a Greek philosopher; we know where that got them. But Prophet ﷺ hinted to his Companions, look to Allah’s (AJ) creation and what is the best of Allah’s (AJ) creation? Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So, ya Rabbi, I found You. I found You on my journey of ma’rifah (gnosticism). I found You in the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. I found Your essence in the essence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. What we have in our durood from these awliyaullah? …Zaat e-khuda gum shuda ruh hi tu – what’s the actual words?
Ma ajmalaka teri surat, Ma ah’sanaka teri seerat
Ma akmalaka teri ‘azmat, Teri zaat may gum hai Khudayee
Your Face is the perfection of beauty; Your personality is the perfection of manners
Your Magnificence is the absolute perfection; Lordship is lost in Your essence.
Zaat-e-Nabi was lost in the zaat of Allah (AJ). Lost in the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, hidden. That these awliyaullah (saints) were giving us isharats (signs) that the essence of Allah (AJ) was tucked away within the reality of Prophet ﷺ. And then Allah (AJ) gave every clue and every hint. You found My zaat, you found My essence, you found my reality. Don’t you see it in this magnificent character? Khuluqal Azheem! Allah’s (AJ) praising His own reality. Allah’s (AJ) Azeem, Magnificence and Munificence. He’s praising His own reality.
68:4 – “Wa innaka la’ala khuluqin ‘azheem.” (Surat Al-Qalam)
“Truly, You (O Muhammad!) are of a magnificent character.” (The Pen, 68:4)
Awliya Found the Love of Allah (AJ) in the Character of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
You didn’t find these characteristics of Mine hidden within the being of this insan (human being)? My Mercy, My Compassion, My Love and awliyaullah (saints) found it and they couldn’t stop reciting about it. And that was real love. They found the love of Allah (AJ). In every goodness of the character of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, they found Allah (AJ). The rahmah (mercy) that Prophet ﷺ, I would not have sent you except that you are My Rahmah, that Allah’s (AJ) hidden mercy brought into that reality and into that light and even to the physicality of Prophet ﷺ.
21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatal lil’alameen.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad (pbuh)], except as a mercy to the worlds/creation.” (The Prophets, 21:107)
Nobody Teaches Prophet ﷺ Except Allah (AJ)
Allah (AJ) is only one to be worshipped but did we find the signs and the reality of Allah (AJ)? And they were found. And ashiqeen (lovers), they found it in the reality and in the character of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. When you’re saying Ummal Kitab, say ummi is bayna alif and meem, there is no teacher. Alif is la ilaha illAllah, meem is Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ. So, between this hey and meem, there is no teacher. Who teaches Nabi Muhammad ﷺ? The hey teaches Prophet ﷺ, no one else. Fi shadeed al-quwa in Surat al-Najm, Allah (AJ) describe, ‘He’s taught by one whom is immense in power.’ Taught by the one whom made it everything; became ummi.
53:3-5 – “Wa ma yantiqu ‘anil hawa. (3) In huwa illa wahyun yooha. (4) ‘Allamahu shadeedul Quwa. (5)” (Surat An-Najm)
“Nor does he (Prophet Muhammad (s) speak from [his own] desire. (3) He is not but a revelation revealed. (4) He was taught by one Mighty in Power. (5)” (The Star, 53:3-5)
Nabi e Kareem ﷺ is the Kitab of Allah (AJ)
When we’re reciting these du’as (supplications) that Ummal Kitab. If Nabi e Pak ﷺ is the kitab. In the time the Qur’an is being revealed to companions talking about book, book, book. There was never a book. What was written as revelation were written and put aside; there was never a compilation of books. So, then who was Prophet ﷺ describing to the Companions – what is the book? And the Companions clearly understood, you are the walking book of Allah (AJ). There was no permission to compile a book in the presence of the living walking book of Allah (AJ). So, Nabi e Kareem ﷺ is the kitab of Allah (AJ). “Innahu dhikrun wa Quranun Mubeen.”
36:69 – “Wa ma’allamnahush shi’ra wa ma yambaghee lahu, in huwa illa dhikrun wa Quranun Mubeen.” (Surat YaSeen)
“We have not taught him (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) poetry, nor it is befitting for him. He (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) is not but Zikr (Remembrance/Praise) and the Quran making things clear.” (YaSeen, 36:69)
Praise the Greatest Achievement of Allah (AJ)
“Wa raf ‘ana laka zikrak”, have we not spread your praising throughout my created universes? And that your heart is Manzil ul Qur’an and only I will be known through your heart. And My greatest achievement, My greatest work – the Holy Qur’an, uncreated speech of Allah (AJ) – moving through your heart and your soul through all the universes.
94:4 – “Wa rafa’na laka dhikrak.” (Surat Ash-Sharh)
“And raised high for you your remembrance.” (The Relief, 94:4)
Allah’s (AJ) Qul is Only to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
That which manifests Qur’an because it mixed with zaban al-Arab, the tongue of the Arabic Messenger. It has to come through that becomes Qur’an because it’s the speech that comes. Um, Ummal Kitab, that which not manifesting in the heart of Prophet ﷺ. So, where Allah (AJ) writing the destinies of everything? Where is this Ummal Kitab Allah (AJ) writing the destiny for this creation? And everything in the manifest and un-manifest creation is being written upon the soul of Prophet ﷺ. Allah (AJ) is writing a destiny upon the soul cause Allah’s (AJ) ‘Qul’ only to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Nothing can contain Allah’s (AJ) speech. Everything must be under tawheed (oneness) of la ilaha illAllah Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ.
“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah”
“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
So, in this world of immense light where everything is emanating Allah’s (AJ) speech that no one can hear is all speaking and manifesting upon the heart and soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Qur’an is Furqan Without Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Those whom Prophet ﷺ give a mi’raj (ascension) with their soul to enter into the Holy Heart, they can see from Ummal Kitab. Those whom know, then in the world of mulk (earthly realm), they only see Qur’an, but they have to have the love of the Arabic Messenger so that he sweetens their tongue. When they recite, the Arabic Messenger sweetens, the words come out – that becomes Qur’an.
Without the Messenger of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, they merely have furqan (book of right and wrong). These are 3 levels. Furqan, Qur’an has to have muhabbat of Prophet ﷺ. Even they say la ilaha illAllah Muhammadun RasulAllah and they’re Wahabi. Allah (AJ) said those munafiq (hypocrites), they use their shahadah (testimony of faith) to deviate people from the way. And all their heads going off with Sayyidina Mahdi (as). They use their shahadah (testimony of faith) as a means to deviate people from the reality. This has to be based on muhabbat and love. They love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. As a result, when they recite Holy Qur’an, that is the Qur’an. Without muhabbat and love of Prophet ﷺ, it’s like a kufar reciting and that becomes furqan. Don’t think people are reciting Qur’an unless they have immense love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Allah (AJ) Swears By Noon wal Qalam
He blesses the light upon the tongue, mixes with Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Speech, and manifests the light that it should be manifesting from the noon of Qur’an which we talked the Noon wal Qalam. Same now – this noon of Qur’an, qaf at the beginning, noon at the end. And Allah (AJ) swears by that Noon wal Qalam. There is no way for you to have the nur (light) of Holy Qur’an without the love of My Qalam, without Qul Ya Muhammad ﷺ dressing you, blessing you. Making everything to be sweet from you and you become ahle wadood. These are the people of Hu.
68:1 – “Noon. wal Qalami wa ma yasTuroon.” (Surat Al-Qalam)
“Noon. By the pen and what they inscribe.” (The Pen, 68:1)
Every Being is Given Divinely Amr on Lailatul Nisf e Sha’ban
So, these Ummal kitab that Allah (AJ) writing everything. This is Lailatul Nisf e Sha’ban. When Allah (AJ), in this ocean of Hu is going to be writing, ya Rabbi, the isharat all My will and all My command will be coming, that every command of Mine that now moving into the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ tonight. It will become clear because Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ will speak what Allah (AJ) wants him to speak tonight till tomorrow. And this becomes the amr (command) that move throughout the universes. Every responsible being will be given its amr. Who lives, who dies. What their sustenance will be, what it will not be. Who will be healthy, who will be sick – everything that is wanted and willed by Allah (AJ) will be written and transcribed upon the soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Allah (AJ) Honoured Bani Adam With Writing & Speech
The immensity of this lisanul haq (tongue of truth) and the ancient tongue of Allah (AJ). When people don’t even understand what they’ve been given, they can’t understand the greatness of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. We have been given a finger and a thumb. Because your finger and your thumb and that you’re not a baboon and with this finger and thumb, you can write, writing [Shaykh holds a miswak (toothstick) between his finger and thumb to demonstrate].
With this writing, Allah (AJ) actually gave you the secret of manifestation. Anybody ever contemplate, except the students of our teachings; your finger and your thumb give you the ability to write. This writing that Allah (AJ) gave to us is the secret of manifestation. You are manifesting that which does not exist on this earth. Every time you write, you make, you hammer. This ability was not given to giraffe and to baboons, to any other creature. And when Allah (AJ), “Wa laqad karramna Bani Adam.” I have given you a power you can’t imagine.
17:70 – “Wa laqad karramna bani adama…” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam…” (The Night Journey, 17:70)
You will be a tool that manifests my reality. I inspire your heart and your two fingers, write it and you begin to manifest it. This is an immensity and for the one whom doesn’t need even fingers, he has what’s called now what? Speech Recognition, right? We reached a point now, I don’t have to type anymore. Why? Because we’re getting closer to the end and Allah (AJ) wants you to understand the reality of Prophet ﷺ. You don’t have to type. Typing can be cumbersome, tiring. So, now you can pick up your device and it does speech recognition. What you merely say, it begins to manifest. Now you understand the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Allah (AJ) is his divinely speech.
Kun Faya Koon is Heavenly Speech Recognition
We said the night before, I am the emotion within your existence. When you cry and you love and you cry from love, I am your tear. When you have love and ishq, I am that love. When you sing beatifically for me, I am the voice and the energy that people hear. I am every emotion and every goodness within you. Then imagine the immensity of Prophet ﷺ that he merely speaks, and creation begins to manifest. Big time speech recognition. Don’t have to be written anywhere. There’s no hands up there. There’s no tablets up there. It’s not chiseled with stone like the Fred Flintstone show. Allah’s (AJ) technology is super advanced. It’s speech recognition. Allah’s (AJ), “Kul amri iradah.” ‘Every will and My order is manifesting in this Holy Divine Heart, Manzil ul Qur’an: Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’
I merely speak it into the heart and Prophet’s ﷺ Holy “Kun faya koon.” Allah’s (AJ) Qul is always to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Prophet’s ﷺ “Kun faya koon” and begins to speak, the speech recognition; every angel and every reality begins to manifest. Universes come into existence by that manifestation. Everything comes by the haq (truth) of that reality.
36:82 – “Innama AmruHu idha Arada shay an, an yaqola lahu kun faya koon.” (Surat YaSeen)
“His Command is when He Wills/Intends a thing, He says to it, “Be,” and it is!” (YaSeen, 36:82)
Prophet ﷺ is the Walking Qur’an
Now, imagine on dunya (material world), the one whom has immense reality and why Allah (AJ) called Khuluqal Azheem, ‘You are of a magnificent character.’
68:4 – “Wa innaka la’ala khuluqin ‘azheem.” (Surat Al-Qalam)
“Truly, You (O Muhammad!) are of a magnificent character.” (The Pen, 68:4)
Because no matter what, you didn’t want to show yourself as anything. When Allah’s (AJ) Lailatul Mubarak that we have revealed it and Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ was given the entirety of Holy Qur’an. It was not waiting for Sayyidina Jibreel (as). It was not in need of Sayyidina Jibreel (as), but Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ teaching us humility. Do the people ever see Sayyidina Jibreel (as)? All they saw was the beatific Nabi Muhammad ﷺ giving the wahi (revelation) under the command of Allah (AJ) and telling the people Sayyidina Jibreel (as) brought it for me. Did you see him? Did they see him?
In one hadith he appeared to explain a hadith, but the adab (manners) of Prophet ﷺ was humility. I’ll say it, I’m waiting for Allah (AJ) and every time Allah (AJ) gave the order, Prophet ﷺ revealed but don’t think Prophet ﷺ didn’t have the entirety of the book. He’s the walking kitab (book) of Allah (AJ). Not the walking chapters, walking kitab.
Its entirety was written upon the soul and this what Allah (AJ) Khuluqal Azheem (Qur’an, 68:4), that you don’t ever expose yourself. You don’t ever try to show yourself and always it’s a way of humility, being humble, humble. I’m nothing, I’m nothing. I’m waiting for Sayyidina Jibreel (as). And Sayyidina Jibreel (as) is from whose light? Is from the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The ‘Arsh and the throne is made from whose light? It’s Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. He didn’t come to have a mulk (earthly realm) and to have a power and say, ‘Do you know what I can do?’ But he set as an example for us: be nothing, be nothing, be nothing. But awliyaullah (saints), their responsibility is to show the greatness of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, that don’t underestimate the immensity of this haqqaiq and this reality.
Our Sins Weigh Down Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ Holy Soul – Ask for Forgiveness
And it’s Shab e Baraat that we’re asking for forgiveness. Why it’s a forgiveness? Because everything coming is from Nurul Muhammad ﷺ. Everything that’s coming is from Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ. Every gunah (sin) that mankind is doing is upon the soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So, Allah (AJ) want them to gather, ask for forgiveness, and I will forgive. Why? Not for you, but for the sake of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ because it weighs down his soul. And He says I look to the amal (actions) of my nation. His nation is both the nation who accepted and the nation who didn’t accept, it means all creation. Rab al-mumineen wa Rab al-Kafireen (Lord of the believers and unbelievers), all under the flag of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Those whom he’s happy, he thanks Allah (AJ). Those whom they did bad, he asks forgiveness from Allah (AJ).
Shab e Barat is the Door of Forgiveness
So, this night of baab al-maghfirah (door of forgiveness) is that to encourage people, ‘Run to ask for forgiveness, that what we did wrong from what Allah (AJ) wanted us and what we put of burdens upon Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ holy soul. Ya Rabbi, grant us a maghfirah, grant us your forgiveness for the sake of the one whom you blessed and dressed with immense blessings. Grant us from all those realities. Dress us and bless us.’ Then we begin to understand the immense realities of this night, that Allah (AJ) going to write every blessed event, every type of reality upon the soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Then we understand the immensity of Mawlid an-Nabi ﷺ.
Do Everything With the Intention of Mawlid an-Nabi ﷺ
Everything you do, do with the intention of Milad, Milad un-Nabi ﷺ. It’s not something small. They’re describing to you all of creation is written upon the immensity of this soul. Everything coming into existence and everything leaving existence written upon the immensity of this soul and Allah (AJ) saying, you have any concept now what Milad un-Nabi ﷺ is? How this reality is coming into existence as a result of that? And you’re trying to participate in that reality to take the barakah and the blessings. So majlis salli ala an-Nabi ﷺ, what type of blessing it has. That’s why when we said, ‘Ya Rabbi, I found you. I found you Ya Rabbi. I found you in the heart of hearts of my beloved Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’ And that’s why Allah (AJ) then describes because that reality, it can’t even be understood. So, even in your praising, you’re saying, “Allahumma Sali ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala ali Sayyidina Muhammad.”
“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Sallim.”
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)”
Fattabioni: Follow Prophet ﷺ To Gain Allah’s (AJ) Love
You are praising Allah (AJ) in making the salawats. Because of the immensity of that reality, it’s Allah (AJ) hidden within that soul. Allah’s (AJ) zaat and essence hidden within that soul so it must be praising Allah (AJ) to find Allah (AJ). That is the immensity of salawat on Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. It’s that you’re acknowledging, I found you, Ya Rabbi. Every salawat (praising) give me from its energy and its power and put your essence into my heart. Put your qudra and your power into my heart and that I want to be your ashiqeen (lovers) and that’s why Allah (AJ), “Qul in kuntum tuhibboonal laaha fattabi’ oonee yuhbibkumul laahu.” ‘If you truly follow him, you’ll find me and if you find me, I’ll love you.’
3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumullahu…” (Surat Ali-Imran)
“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you …” (Family of Imran, 3:31)
Pray For a Beatific Departure From Dunya
We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us, bless us. Ya Rabbi, for the sake of this love please don’t punish us, ya Rabbi. That all these beatific realities you inspire within our hearts from awliyaullah (saints) for the sake of those, ya Rabbi, don’t punish us. Keep us away from bala, keep our children, our loved ones, our community and our families. All our families in Islam, ya Rabbi, keep them away from this ghadab and anger. And let us to be under the rahmah (mercy) and the rain of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and take our souls like a hair in ghee, ya Rabbi. If we’re going to go, we’re all going to go. We’d love to go waiting to sit at the table and at the threshold and feet of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, ya Rabbi. Make like a hair in ghee that it just goes out peacefully. Wa qinaa azaaban Naar and keep us from these crazy people’s fire and what they’re trying to do to these bodies. Ya Rabbi, grant us a beatific departure from this dunya (material world).
2:201 – “Wa minhum mai yaqoolu rabbanaaa aatina fid dunyaa hasanatawn wa fil aakhirati hasanatanw wa qinaa azaaban Naar.” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” (The Cow, 2:201)
