Real Ka’bah in The Heart of Muhammad (s), Realities of Hu, Allah Ahad
From the Realities of Mawlana Shaykh (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Allah (AJ) Directs Us to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
And Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ from the oceans of Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Lights. Bismillahir rahmanir raheem, ati ullah wa ati ar rasul wa ulil amri minkum.
﴾أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ… ﴿٥٩…
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)
“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
That we come to the love of Allah (AJ) and then Allah (AJ) directs us to Prophet ﷺ. That if you want to obey Me, then you follow the hand of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And by coming to the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Prophet ﷺ begins to inspire within our hearts, then look for my real ulul amr (saints).
Prophet ﷺ Inspires Us to Look For Ulul Amr
This means they are under Allah’s (AJ) Amr (command) and they have obeyed the commands within their heart. They have forbidden what is wrong within themselves, not the commanding to other people. But to command within themself what is not allowed and to follow what Allah (AJ) wants for that reality, so that the reality within the heart begins to open. They teach us by analogy and one understanding like the telescope. That it’s coming out to us as a rahmah (mercy). That the obedience of Allah (AJ), as soon as you want it, the rope extends, that follow Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And then look for the way of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And then the rope from Prophet ﷺ extends and says, ‘Look for my ulul amr (saints)’.
Real Ulul Amr Are Heavenly Ropes – ‘Hold Tight and Don’t Separate’
These are the shaykhs of tariqah (spiritual path), the shaykhs of perfection, of tazkiya and cleaning and purification. So, now that rope has extended. And Allah (AJ) describes that holy rope in Qur’an, that, ‘Hold tight to that rope and don’t separate.’
(Surat Ali-Imran)
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not separate…” (Family of Imran, 3:103)
Don’t separate from the rope because that rope is a najat (salvation) in which to lift us back up into that reality. It’s not just coming down, but it’s lifting back up. It means that the ulul amr (saints) are the secret of Hu. And they are the real huuu men, huuu-man, huuu-man. We even have woman, but hu-man to be politically correct. But the reality of the hu-man is these are the ulul amr. They carry the secret of that hu within their heart. And they take us to the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
The Ocean of Islam is the Ocean of Submission
And Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ takes us to the Divinely Haq (truth). It means Allah (AJ) guides us in that direction. As soon as we hold tight, their duty is to take us back into that reality. And everything in that reality, everything from that ocean then is an understanding for us. That for the ocean of Islam is submission. It means that they bring us into the ocean of submission. Ocean of iman (faith) is not the same as the ocean of Islam.
Islam is merely that you have accepted. These are the conditions, these are the rules – are you accepting in your life? And then we will be tested. As we become tested and proven, the light of Islam begins to open within the heart. And it’s an experience, an overwhelming sense of light that comes into the heart and as if a whole recollection of your life is given to you. As if you’ve hit something and you reached a state of death and your whole life plays before you like a film. And then Allah (AJ) teaching that that is your life. Are you happy with it? And are you ready for that recording to be played in My Divinely Presence?
Islam and Iman Gives Us a Sense of Accountability
It means the light of Islam, once it begins, that light of iman (faith) begins to open within the heart. It begins to open the sense of reality that we are accountable. And we try to perfect ourselves to the best of our perfection, to the best of our ability, and live every moment in trying to clear that film, clear what has been taken as an account for us. That if there’s something negative that can’t be wiped off, ‘Ya Rabbi, let me at least to provide a positive in something good so that not to be ashamed when that film is played.’
Maqamul Ihsan is the Abode of Perfection
And then that iman now is opening maqamul ihsan (station of excellence). Maqamul ihsan is the abode of perfection. Because if you’re constantly busy in trying to perfect ourselves, correct ourselves, clean ourself, then we’re reaching towards perfection and Allah (AJ) has to grant that. That Allah (AJ) grants nasrullah. That you keep struggling, you keep struggling, with everything I give you in life, you struggle. Regardless if anybody understands your struggle, cares for your struggle, you struggle for My purpose. And I grant you the satisfaction that when My Nasrullah comes, when My Oceans of Support comes, then at that time you’ll understand what the abode of excellence is.
﴾إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّـهِ وَالْفَتْحُ ﴿١
110:1 – “Idha jaa a Nasrullahi wal Fath.” (Surat An-Nasr)
“When there comes the Divine Support of Allah and the Victory.” (The Divine Support, 110:1)
Prophet ﷺ is in the Heart of Ulul Amr
Then Mawlana Shaykh, this becomes the foundation of our belief. That Allah (AJ) going to be found in the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Prophet ﷺ going to be found only in the heart of the ulul amr (saints), the real huuu-men. That, and it is not a coincidence that most of their zikrs (remembrances) are Allah Hu, Allah Hu, Allah Hu Haq. Because everything about them is from that reality. And they are an oasis of hope, bringing people back to the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Then it’s Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ responsibility to bring them back to the love of Allah (AJ). These are the oases of hope and the oases of rahmah (mercy).
Then, Mawlana Shaykh begins to teach in many different aspects of our life. One understanding is in the holy Ka’bah to put everything in its place and in its understanding. This means from Qul huwa Allahu ahad.
﴾قُلْ هُوَ اللَّـهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿١
112:1 – “Qul HuwAllahu Ahad.” (Surat Al-Ikhlas)
“Say, He is Allah, [who is] One.” (The Sincerity, 112:1)
The Ka’bah Directs Us to the Oneness of Allah (AJ)
It means we have Hu, Allah, Ahad. Hu, Allah, Ahad because it goes both directions. We go one direction understanding in the purpose of the holy Ka’bah is to bring people to the Oneness of Allah (AJ). It’s not to be worshipped. It’s merely a direction. Ka’bah is not to be worshipped. Allah (AJ) is not within the holy Ka’bah.
This means the holy Ka’bah is a direction in which all mankind, because if the Earth was flat, it has to have its center in our life. But since it’s round, same concept that it has a center, direct all of mankind to the Ahad, the unique Oneness of the Creator. That many things may be similar, but there is nothing like unto the Creator. That Allah (AJ), many holy people, many great things, but there is nothing like the Creator of all creation, Allah (AJ), Allah, God Almighty, and Magnificent, and Munificent.
Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the True Imam of the Ka’bah
So, then that Ka’bah symbolizes that for us. That from wherever you are, take off your identity. Take off what would identify you of your wealth, of your location, of who you are, what language you speak. And you put your white cloth, and come almost as if you were born and they wrapped you in a blanket.
So, the ahadiyya reality is that Allah (AJ) saying then, ‘Bring all creation towards that Ka’bah. Direct them towards My Oneness.’ And that becomes now an understanding that everything must direct itself to the Oneness of Allah (AJ).
Prophet ﷺ is the Owner of the Ka’bah
Then, as soon as we enter into the holy precincts, what happens there? This means at the time of Prophet ﷺ is most important for us. The namaz (prayer) at the Ka’bah is based on the imam of the Ka’bah. And the imam of the Ka’bah, not nowadays imam. Imam, the real imam of the holy Ka’bah is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. What brings that honour, what brings tashreef, what brings nobility to the holy Ka’bah was the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. From its arrival in the time of Sayyidina Ibrahim (as), Allah (AJ) brought that for the honour of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That when he arrives in this precinct, that he will be the owner of this house and that he will alayhis salatu salam, will direct people towards My Oneness in the oceans of perfection.
Allah’s (AJ) Reality is Within the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
This means then it represents an opening that as we are moving towards the oneness of Allah (AJ). Allah (AJ) begins to clarify that I am not in that house. It’s merely the direction of My Oneness. But I am in the heart of my believer.
It means then who is carrying the Ahad is coming towards the Ka’bah? From, from ikhlas, Allah (AJ), Qul hu Allahu ahad. Hu. Allah. Ahad.
﴾قُلْ هُوَ اللَّـهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿١
112:1 – “Qul HuwAllahu Ahad.” (Surat Al-Ikhlas)
“Say, He is Allah, [who is] One.” (The Sincerity, 112:1)
Suratul Ikhlas is About Sincerity
First Ahad is coming towards the oneness. Drop everything and lose your identity, lose your ego, lose your individuality and become one with that ocean. So, then tariqah (spiritual path) comes and specializes in that tariqah, in that reality. Lose your entire identity. Come into the real ocean of oneness. As soon as you come into that ocean of oneness, then the next maqam (station) is the Maqam of Allah (AJ) because this is the ocean of purity.
Suratul Ikhlas is ikhlas is sincerity. So, Allah (AJ) saying then, ‘The people who are understanding Ahad, they come towards the Oneness.’ So, then you see many people in this world only coming and calling everybody to oneness. But then to come towards the reality of Allah (AJ) is teaching then, ‘My Reality is within the heart of the imam, within the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’
Show Love of Prophet ﷺ By Following the Sunnah
This means then we’re moving into that reality. We’re coming towards holy Ka’bah, and then Allah (AJ) reminding us that if you’re now looking for Allah (AJ), it is within the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And then we begin to direct ourselves to the love of Prophet ﷺ.
As soon as we direct ourselves to the love of Prophet ﷺ, it begins the opening of sunnah (way of Prophet ﷺ). That, when you love someone, you read about them and you emulate them. You copy them, you follow everything that Prophet ﷺ was doing – from how he was eating, how he was drinking, how he was interacting and loving people, teaching people.
The Heart of the Believer is the House of the Lord
It means everything you adorned yourself from that love, from that respect, from that ihtiram. And then Prophet ﷺ begins to open in his heart and towards that holy ocean of love. That in my heart is Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Presence where Allah (AJ) is not in heavens, not on Earth, but in the heart of his believer and qalb al mu’min baytullah.
قَلْبَ الْمُؤْمِنْ بَيْتُ الرَّبْ
“Qalb al mu’min baytur rabb.”
“The heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.” Hadith Qudsi
And then Allah (AJ) directing them, the real Ka’bah is within the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Direct yourself into the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and you should find the lights and the signs of Allah (AJ) within that holy heart.
Awliyaullah Are Lost Within the Ocean of Hu
As soon as we begin to direct ourself into that light and into that love, the reality of Hu, and the essence of Allah (AJ) from whatever Allah (AJ) wants to reveal because these are the darajat (levels) of awliyaullah (saints). What they are going through, it’s unimaginable. But from whatever they’re giving of an understanding for us, that they are lost within the ocean of Hu.
Go To Prophet ﷺ, Imam of Ka’bah, And Ask His Permission to Enter His Heart
And the Hu-ness which is the reflection of the Divine Essence and that reflection of Hu is always reflecting to the reflection of Huwa Muhammad ﷺ. And Prophet ﷺ reflecting and taking that reflection and giving it out to the lovers and the ashiqeen who are within his heart, who are circumambulating within the heart of Prophet ﷺ and asking for Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Presence. They are making the real labayk Allahumma labayk (Here I am, O Allah (AJ), here I am).
It means that, ‘We came, ya Rabbi, to Your Ka’bah and we are coming to the door of Your imam and asking for Your imam to let us in within his heart so that we can really make our tawaf to Your Divinely Presence.’
Enter the Heart of Prophet ﷺ By Zikr Hu
And then beginning the lights of Hu, the lights of that reality begin to dress us. From the light of that reality, then beginning again into the oceans of reality. Now in that heart, in that presence only by zikr Hu, can the real – now goes back the other way. We came Ahad looking for Allah (AJ) because Ahad is Oneness. Stop all the mushrikeen. Stop everything that’s false. Stop even putting association upon yourself as if you’re important. You’re an internal mushrik (idolator). Don’t believe in technology, believe in Allah (AJ).
So, this means ahad, ahad, ahad, ahad – looking for Allah (AJ) in the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Come within the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Only by zikr Hu is that reflection of the essence emanating within the heart of Prophet ﷺ. And all the souls trying to jump into that reality.
Sayyidina Bilal (as) Was Tortured For His Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Only from that zikr (remembrance) of Hu then Allah (AJ) can open now, ‘I open for you, Allah (AJ).’ From the reality of Allah (AJ) begin to open Ahad, Ahad, Ahad. It means the real uniqueness of Ahad where Sayyidina Bilal (as), the companion of Prophet ﷺ, when he was being crushed to death with the rock upon his chest. They say his zikr was Ahad, Ahad, Ahad.
It means the maqamul ihsan (station of excellence) that he had reached, unimaginable. He is a holy companion. But to struggle in accepting Islam, but that’s not what got the rock on him. But it was his accepting of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ that put him through being tortured. They told him denounce the holy Prophet ﷺ.
Sayyidina Bilal (as) Reached Perfection Through His Sincerity
So, this is now the understanding. You came to Ahad, you came to love of Allah (AJ), alhamdulillah. But the companion is teaching us not only that, but they were telling him, ‘Leave the Messenger of Allah (AJ)’. And he’s teaching us the only way to that reality is in the service and the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and ‘You’re better off to kill me now.’ And they put a rock to crush him. And as the state of dying is coming and the crushing is killing, only zikr (remembrance) he is making now because he’s now reached to that perfection.
And Prophet ﷺ described Sayyidina Bilal (as), ‘As I hear his footsteps in paradise’ while he was a companion in the presence of Prophet ﷺ, teaching from the highest levels of these realities. That at that time, after that love and struggling for the sake of Prophet ﷺ, reaching the zikr Ahad, Ahad, Ahad.
Our Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ Will Save Us From Difficulty
We pray that in these holy days, we understand these realities that Ka’bah is a place that directs us to that Oneness. But what making holy Ka’bah to be Holy is presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And that our love and ashiqeen (lovers), these are the people of muhabbat (love). The love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and asking ya Rasul Allah ﷺ, ya Habib Allah ﷺ, ya Nabi Allah ﷺ means that the door of the Nabi (prophet) has to open and inside the heart is Allah (AJ). The heart of that believer is emanating that light of the Divinely Presence.
We pray that in these holy nights they open for us more and more to go within that reality, to understand that reality and to keep their love. The love of Prophet ﷺ is everything for us. The love of Prophet ﷺ will save us. The love of Prophet ﷺ will lift us and take away difficulty from us. The love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ will grant us Islam, will grant us iman (faith) and will grant us maqamul ihsan (station of excellence), inshaAllah.
