Powerful Portals to Heaven Q&A
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ٱلْرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾ …
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Question 1: Is the location where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ made the Mi’raj (ascension) in Jerusalem the most powerful portal?
Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: No, just one portal. The most powerful portal is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Wherever the servant has Prophet ﷺ within their heart, that is the power. Locations may come and go, may be blocked, whatever, but it is what Prophet’s ﷺ movement makes something holy.
Why is the Ka’bah holy? Because Prophet ﷺ is the master of that house – Rabbil Bayt. We’ve described in many other talks: what gives honor to the home is the one who lives there. Not the stones and the brick you built your house with. They say, ‘Oh this is such a honorable house,’ why is it honorable house? It is bricks and stones but saheb (owner) is the one that makes it honor because creation is honored, not bricks and stone and inanimate objects. We’re not idol worshippers. So, no idol has any value to us.
What makes honor is the presence of Prophet ﷺ. What gave honor to Makkah was the soul of Prophet ﷺ. Honor to Madina actual physicality and soul of Prophet ﷺ, honor to Jerusalem is that Prophet ﷺ would be praying there all the way to the end of time. From beginning it was holy because of the advent of the arrival of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Allah (AJ) has no time so that tajjali (manifestation) was always there, is always there. It is just when a time occurs and all of a sudden the event happens but that doesn’t mean then it becomes holy. Allah (AJ) has no time.
So it means every place that Prophet ﷺ would put his blessed presence is going to be immensely powerful and immensely blessed. Alhamdulillah. For us, now in the last days, everything is going to have a spiritual significance. That if they – people lost physical Al-Aqsa and they’re going to yell and scream and fight and do everything for it. But ‘ashiqeen (lovers) they should have gained Al-Aqsa within their heart. It means they made their heart haramain, no haram (forbidden) in their heart. With that heart and good character they reached to the heart of Prophet ﷺ – the furthest boundary. There is no one closer to “La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.” Sidratul Muntaha (Lote Tree of The Furthest Boundary) for the believers can only be achieved in the heart of Prophet ﷺ, inshaAllah.
Question 2: Sayyidi, what is Maqamul Fardani that we recite in the supplication of Rajab Sayyidi? Can you please expand on that.
Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: Maqam Fardani is the station of awliya (saints). The one whom is in charge of the station of the moon and the association of these awliyaullah (saints). That to be dressed from this high level awliya that are watching over and that their symbolic station is the station of the moon.
The shaykh in charge of that reality on the white nights means there is a tajjali and reality. The ones whom fast on those three nights then from the shaykh who controls that reality, dresses and blesses and prays for those servants. Biznillah – with the power of Allah (AJ) dresses these servants. So means these all have to do with the association of awliyaullah and that from what Sultanul Awliya’s (King of saints) knowledges, we recite from their du’as (supplication). So by repeating their du’as we’re asking for realities that not necessarily things that we know and people know. But we get the blessings of the intention from our shaykhs. That what they taught us to recite, we recite and to be dressed by these blessings and blessed by these blessings, inshaAllah.
