
Power of Milad Nabi ﷺ , Spirituality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ Must Be Present

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Always a reminder for myself ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl. If not by the grace of Allah, we cease to exist. We don’t claim to be anything in their presence. We take a path of effacing to be nothing, to be nothing, to be nothing.
1. Allah (AJ) Makes us Humble – Our Worth is in Our Nothingness
Alhamdulilah Allah gave us good life and long life to reach to the holy month of Muharram. The first lunar month, is an opening of a gate and a hijrah (migration). That we are always on a pilgrimage to the divinely presence. That the 12 months of pilgrimage, the first month is a door in which to move towards that Divinely presence, in the month of Tawbah and forgiveness. Ya Rabbi, I’m asking your forgiveness for all that I’m coming short in trying to reach towards your reality. And our path is about humility. That not that we show ourself to be humble, but Allah (AJ) to bring us to be humble. That Allah (AJ) by means in our life will humble us. We can imitate humility and try to pretend we’re humble, and that’s good until Allah (AJ) begins to humble the servant, and to show them their nothingness. Your worth is in your nothingness so that Allah (AJ) can dress it with its somethingness. That rhymed.
This world is the opposite. This world wants to show its everything and wants everyone to show its everything. So, then continuous struggle for the believer to efface themself, that no, in the face of all of that, I am nothing, I am nothing, I am nothing.
2. Seek Refuge in the Cave of Allah (AJ) From Shaitan
The holy month of Safar opens, which is the 2nd lunar month, and the secrets of 18. And the secret of the holy cave, in which all creation is inspired to move into a cave. Shaytan is trying to inspire people to move into his cave and to seek refuge in him. Alhamdulillah that Allah (AJ) sent us the best of those to warn, that seek refuge in the Divinely Cave. If we don’t understand that cave and don’t understand where we’re seeking refuge, every reality subsequent to that will be something not understood by the seeker. Especially those who are in a background of Islam and understanding Islam, and the realities that Prophet ﷺ brought for them.
This means that to seek refuge in God from the accursed devil. That everything in our life is about seeking refuge. It is that I seek refuge in you, my Lord, from every evilness. And our life is based on that. That everything I am about to do or want to do, or going to do, is that I have to seek refuge in God. That I’m seeking refuge in You. Is this something that You want me to do? Is this an action that I should be doing? Is this a movement that I should be moving into? If not, that I’m asking to seek refuge in You from the accursed one, who wants me to take actions that are not moving towards the Divinely Presence.
Allah’s Refuge and Protection is with Whom He Loves – The Prophets
They come into our lives, these saintly souls, and remind us that the easiest most powerful refuge is to seek refuge in those whom Allah (AJ) already granted refuge. By the love of the prophets, love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, love of Sayyidina Isa (as), Jesus Christ, peace and blessings be upon him, love Sayyidina Musa (as), Moses, peace and blessings be upon him. By loving the prophets more than we love ourself, by loving Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ more than we love ourself.
We took a path in which to seek refuge in Allah (AJ). If they don’t get that, everything after that is lost. That Allah’s (AJ) refuge, Allah’s (AJ) protection is with whom he loves. Because we’re from the creation and our Lord is the Creator, far beyond anything you can imagine in the ocean of creation. So, we have to have a reference point. In this ocean of creation, the most perfected souls are the souls of the prophets, so be with them. If you’re with them, then you should be with Allah (AJ), Allah (AJ) with them. Allah’s (AJ) protection with them, Allah’s (AJ) love with them. The Divinely Presence, every emanation upon the souls of the prophets. So, they come into our lives and teach – then be amongst them.
Show Your Love of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ By Praising and Celebrating His Birth
Make your life to be with the Prophet alayhis salatu salaam. It means that if we’re moving towards that reality, then you have to love that reality more than you love yourself.
لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ”.
“La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
It means then every action is going to be based on that love. If you’re really in love, the Prophetic reality, you should be praising upon it. You should be making your durood sharif, you should be making the mehfils (gatherings), you should be doing the Mawlid an Nabi ﷺ (celebration of Prophet’s ﷺ birth). All of those are tremendous actions.
You Feel the Presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ in the Association of Ashiqeen
Because there are people who come out, and, they say, ‘Well, we’re religious people. Why do we have to praise the Prophetic reality? Why do you have to make durood sharif? Why do you have to make salawats? Why should you attend a Mawlid an Nabi ﷺ?’ Maybe it’s just a small party and a small thing. It’s everything! It’s every sign of love that we’re trying to show. It’s not something small and it’s not a party. It’s a celebration of our existence. It’s a celebration of love. It’s to show the Lord All Mighty, that, ‘My Lord, we’re trying our best to follow you, by keeping the company of those whom you love.’
So, then the associations of the lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ must be then filled with the mehfil (gatherings), filled with durood sharif, (praising upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), fragranced by that beautific fragrance. The energy people feel here, and they feel it. They come and say, ‘I feel an energy.’ That is the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That’s all anybody has to know. Your imagination, you can imagine it whatever you want. Its reality is the fragrance and the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
If the light of Prophet ﷺ is there, the light of Allah (AJ) is there, the light of malaika (angels) is there. Basic mind, if the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is not there, why would Allah (AJ) be there? Why would the Light of the Creator be there if the lights of the prophets aren’t there? It means that love is not there. The light of the prophet is not there. The Divinely Lights won’t be there. The angelic lights won’t be there.
So, what people feel is the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. You say I don’t know that prophet. Doesn’t matter, you come and enjoy the love. That’s all you have to know. You are riding on a wave of love. You can feel the love of people. When their love is sincere and their actions are clean and good and they wish no harm. They only want to praise the Divinely Presence, they only want to praise the Prophetic realities. So, that to get their nazar (gaze), to get their attention. These souls are alive. They’re from the oceans of Al Hayyu Al Qayyum (the Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting).
Awliya See Us as Children & Give Our Medicine Through Food
If the people don’t understand that, then that’s why they come and say, why the mehfil? Why, why, what’s the importance of mehfil (gathering)? Why you have to do a Mawlid (celebration of Prophet’s ﷺ birth)? Why you have a celebration and have to give a lot of food? It’s not about the food. They lost the whole point.
It’s like going to the doctor’s office and you want to give medicine to a child. You can’t give a strong medicine because the child will put their tongue out and block it. What you think the insan (mankind), are not children? They reached to their rijal(maturity)? They reached to their realities? 99.9% of people are children in God’s eyes. They are not from the rijalullah (men of Allah (AJ)). They didn’t achieve their amanat and their trust. If you didn’t achieve your trust, and you didn’t open your heart, open your ears, open your eyes, open your tongue, open your hands, open the reality of your qadam (footprint), you’re an infant in Allah’s (AJ) eyes. If you’re infant in Allah’s (AJ) eyes, then how rijalullah are going to attract you? To come and get that medicine, to come and get that blessing, to come and get that, that reality. By food and candy. They understand you’re not going to attract the, the children without food.
You know, the kids here, when we give them candy. They tell their parents, ‘You go, it’s zikr night, Mom, zikr night. It’s a carnival for us there. We’re getting candies. We have a movie entertainment in the other room.’ The children are pushing their parents. This is the difference. We’re just bigger children. Allah (AJ) Divinely Creator looking to us, teaching. This means then attract them with beautific things. Give them what they want, so that that medicine can come. What is it that they want? They want nice food. They want nice drinks. They want a nice fruits. We got the ustad of fruits and vegetables here, master of that (Mawlana pointing at a mureed). We want all these good things for what? To attract people, to make it to be beautific. It’s not about that. So, you have to make it to be attractive and beautiful, to bring them.
Angels Are Searching for Halaqa e Zikr
When somebody walks, it means that they want to walk us through step by step because people don’t seem to be getting it. Not only the people here, there are, there are thousands that watch online. They don’t understand that you’re not thinking from the world of light. If you think from the world of light, that what’s happening in this association tonight? Imagine then the birth, when you celebrate the birth. What type of reality? Just, we drop it down for an understanding of just tonight. Light of Prophet ﷺ must be in the association.
Because Allah (AJ) by Prophet ﷺ give them the hadith of my halaqas of zikr. That there are angels circumambulating and watching to hear about the circles of praisings. Angels.
حَديثُ اِبْنِ عُمَرِقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:« إِذَا مَرَّرَتْهُمْ بِرِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ فَاِرْتَعُوْا .قَالُوا: وَمَارِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ يَارَسُولِ اللهِ ؟
قَالَ:حَلْقُ الذِّكْرِ, فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى سَيَّارَاتٌ مِنَ الْمَلَاَئِكَةِ يُطَلِّبُوْنَ حَلْقَ الذِّكْرِ، فَإِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَيْهُمْ حَفُّوْابِهُمْ ” رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ
Ibn ‘Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) qala, qala Rasulullahi (saws):
“iza marra rathum beriyadil jannati, fa irta’o. Qalu: wa ma riyadil jannati ya Rasulillah?
Qala: Halaquz Zikri, fa inna lillahi ta’ala sayyaratun minal malayikati yutallibona halqaz zikre, fa iza ataw ‘alayhum haffubihim.” [Rawahu Tirmidhi]
The son of `Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, avail yourselves of them.” The Companions asked: “What are the gardens of Paradise, O Messenger of Allah?”
He replied: “The circles of dhikr. There are roaming angels of Allah who go about looking for the circles of dhikr, and when they find them they surround them closely.” [Narrated by Imam Tirmidhi]
Angels Only Find Halaqa e Zikr When They Hear Praising Upon Prophet ﷺ
Allah (AJ) is dressing that circle as soon as the angels find the circles of praisings. Now, we just described that circle of praising wouldn’t be found if it didn’t have the love and the praisings of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The angels only find that when they hear the praisings of Prophet ﷺ. When they hear the praisings of Prophet ﷺ, everything in creation is lost in yusalluna. ‘InAllahi wa mala’ikatahu‘
﴾إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً ﴿٥٦
33:56 – “InnAllaha wa malayikatahu yusalluna ‘alan Nabiyi yaa ayyuhal ladhina aamanu sallu ‘alayhi wa sallimu taslima.” (Surat Al-Ahzab)
“Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet [Muhammad (ﷺ)]: O you that believe! Send your blessings upon him, and salute him with all respect.” (The Combined Forces, 33:56)
The Whole Creation is Lost in ‘Yusallona’ – Love of Allah (AJ) & Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Means that your whole ma’rifah, your whole way of gnosticism, is to move to Allah (AJ).Your soul is moving, labayk Allahhumma, I heard your call my Lord and I’m coming. As soon as you move towards Allah (AJ), where Allah (AJ) is moving you? Is ‘InAllahi wa mala’ikatahu‘, means He moves you through that reality, moves you through the angelic reality, then take you into the ocean of ‘yusalluna alan Nabi ﷺ (send blessings upon Prophet ﷺ). Everything in creation is in the ocean of yusalluna, is lost in the love of Allah (AJ) which is the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The love of the Divine is the love of the prophetic reality and that is the love relationship. What Allah (AJ) is in love with? The hummingbird that He made? What He cares for that? It’s all in the love of the prophetic reality, the ‘khuluqin ‘azheem’. This is of a magnificent character.
﴾وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿٤
68:4 – “Wa innaka la’ala khuluqin ‘azheem.” (Surat Al-Qalam)
“Truly, You (O Muhammad!) are of a magnificent character.” (The Pen, 68:4)
Allah (AJ) Commands Everything in Existence to Praise Prophet ﷺ
This whole ocean of creation is a prophetic light, that all existence is within that light. As the servant is moving with their soul to the love of Allah (AJ), Allah (AJ) takes you to His love, because we’re entering into the heart of that love. Say I am going to take you to My Love. That verily Myself and the angels, We’re yusalluna. This whole story of creation unfolding is the ocean of ‘yusalluna alan Nabi ﷺ’. Has no beginning and has no ending. All in the praising. Everything created for that praisings. So, that it comes into existence and it praises Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Everything in existence is praising Prophet ﷺ. Why? It’s the command of Allah (AJ). The zikr of Allah (AJ), InAllahi wa mala’ikatahu yusalluna, that’s it. He didn’t give a second or third.
﴾إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً ﴿٥٦
33:56 – “InnAllaha wa malayikatahu yusalluna ‘alan Nabiyi yaa ayyuhal ladhina aamanu sallu ‘alayhi wa sallimu taslima.” (Surat Al-Ahzab)
“Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet [Muhammad (ﷺ)]: O you that believe! Send your blessings upon him, and salute him with all respect.” (The Combined Forces, 33:56)
We Praise Allah (AJ) Through Praising Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Allah (AJ) says, verily My Praise and the purified reality of angels are all yusalluna. And the yusalluna is what? ‘Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad’, it’s praising Allah. Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ سَلِّمْ.
Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Sallim.
O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him)
So, then the order was to praise upon Prophet ﷺ. Everything is praising upon Prophet ﷺ. And the praise upon Prophet ﷺ is actually the praise of Allah (AJ). That, and you have to use your heart to understand that. There’s no way to praise Prophet ﷺ without praising Allah (AJ). So, you can’t even praise. Allah (AJ) is not even giving you permission to praise Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. You’re not capable of that. The reality and its azimat (greatness) is something you’re not capable of, so what’s your reply? Allahhumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ‘ala ali Sayyidina Muhammad (O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad). Allah (AJ) didn’t make you to praise Prophet ﷺ. Made you to praise His Divinely Presence in which Allah (AJ) will again praise Prophet ﷺ directly. No need for creation. That reality of light is so immense that you can’t even understand it.
Ruhaniyat of Prophet ﷺ is Present and Powers Heavenly Associations
So, then when you come into an association of lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the ruhaniyat and the light of Prophet ﷺ must be there, must be in the association. Otherwise, where is the light? When, when Allah (AJ) describing that he is a of a magnificent character ﷺ (Qur’an, 68:4)? Could you imagine, that the light of Prophet is not there, and you drove all this way to come and praise upon Prophet ﷺ? Prophet ﷺ hadith is that if you mentioned me once, I’m coming to you.
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -: ” مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً وَاحِدَةً، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ، وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ، وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ “
Qala Rasulullah (saws): “Man Salla `alaiya Salatan wahidatan, Sallallahu `alayhi `ashra Salawatin, wa Huttat `anhu `ashru khaTeatin, wa ruf`at lahu `ashru darajatin.”
Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “Whoever sends blessings [Praises] upon me, God will shower His blessings upon him ten times, and will erase ten of his sins, and elevate [raise] his [spiritual] station ten times.” [Hadith recorded by Nasa’i]
So, imagine the ruhaniyat (soul) of Prophet ﷺ must be present in the association. Because you’re not coming to give one, you’re coming to give thousands of salawats (praisings) upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So much easier logistically for Prophet ﷺ to be located here and you all come. So, when you come, the ruhaniyat of Prophet ﷺ must be in the mehfils (gatherings). The angels must be in the mehfil. Allah’s (AJ) lights and nazar (gaze) must be upon the mehfil. It’s all in the hadith of Prophet ﷺ. If Prophet ﷺ came, and his ruhaniyat alayhis salatu salaam is there, who else is there? All the sahabis (companions) must be there. If all the sahabi are there, all the Ahlul Bayt (family of Prophet ﷺ) must be there. Does one Ahlul Bayt not show up? When they go back and ask, Prophet ﷺ was over there, where were you? Well, I went somewhere. The ruhaniyat of their light, you can’t imagine. It can be everywhere at all times.
We Limit Our Understanding When We Think From the World of Form
Light can’t be understood. Its wave of reality can be in many locations and every location all at the same time. Because we’re not thinking from the world of light, we think from the world of form. And we limit our life based on the world of form and you lost everything. You lost every understanding. You think it was about the kabob and the fruits. No, it was about the light, it was about the light. The kabob was to catch you. The fruit was to bring you. To what? To that light.
If Prophet ﷺ is Present in an Association, Ahlul Bayt and Sahabi are Also There
As soon as you enter the association, that Nurul Mustafa ﷺ that we’re singing and reciting, and, when you read the words of what you’re reciting. Malik al Arwah, he’s the sultan of the souls. That, that Nurul Mustafa ﷺ must be filling the association. Malaika (angels) are coming and praising upon that light of Prophet
نُوْرُ الْمُصْطَفَي، نُوْرُ الْمُصْطَفَي مَلَأ اَلْأَكْوَانْ، مَلَأ اَلْأَكْوَانْ
حَبِيْبِيْ مُحَمَّدْ مُحَمَّدْ مُحَمَّدْ خَيْرُ الْمُرْسَلِينْ
Noorul Mustafa, Noorul Mustafa

Habibi Muhammad, Muhammad, Muhaaammad
Khayrul Mursaleen
Light of Mustafa (Chosen One), Fills and illuminates the universes, My Beloved,
Muhammad, Muhammad, Muhammad, the Best of Messengers
نُوْرٌكَ الْوَضَاحْ، مَالِكَ الْأَرْوَاحْ كَمْ مُحِبًّ رَاحْ، إِلَي الْحَرَمَيْنِ
حَبِيْبِيْ مُحَمَّدْ مُحَمَّدْ مُحَمَّدْ خَيْرُ الْمُرْسَلِينْ
Nooru kal wadaah, Malik al arwah
Kam muhib bin rah, Il’al Hara’mayni
Habibi Muhammad, Muhammad, Muhaaammad
Khayrul Mursaleen
Your light is luminous, You are the owner of the souls
Many lovers went to the two holy sanctuaries,
My Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh),
the best of messengers
The light of Prophet ﷺ is in that association. Nazar of Allah (AJ) is there, because Prophet ﷺ is there. All sahabi (companions) must be there. Even they send the small portion of their light, it’s enough for you. The Ahlul Bayt (family of Prophet ﷺ) must be there. If Ahlul Bayt are there, all awliyaullah (saints) are there. If sahabi are there, all awliyaullah are there. If Prophet ﷺ is there, all awliyaullah are there. So, it means they’re having an association above this association, filled with lights.
That’s not a promise in anything else that you do. If you fast, that’s not a promise that, that’s going to happen in your fasting. There was no, there was no hadith to give any of the daleel (proof). If you pray, there is no promise that all that association is coming to your salat (prayer). You give zakat (charity), it means no promise, that that association is happening. That association is only happening in the halaqas of zikr and mehfil, where Allah (AJ) describes that, ‘My presence is there. My malaika are there.’
أَنَا جَلِيْسُ مَنْ ذَكَرَنِي
Anaa jaleesu man dhakaranee.
I sit with him who remembers Me. (Ahmad, Bayhaqi)
Only the Presence of Prophets Brings Nazar of Allah (AJ) in Association
Then they teach you, if that, if Allah (AJ) and malaika (angels) are there, it’s all about because Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ must be at that halaqa. Otherwise, Allah (AJ) doesn’t show up. The light of Allah (AJ) doesn’t come if there’s not a prophetic light because you didn’t reach the requirement. That if My prophets are not going to sit with you, there’s no way I’m going to be with you. That’s why ‘Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni.’ Tell them, ‘They want My love. They’re, they’re moving towards My Love, tabi’oni.’ Be from the tabi’een (followers), in which their whole life was to seek the prophetic reality and the prophetic pleasure.
﴾قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللَّـهَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِيْ يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّـهُ … ﴿٣١
3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumullahu…” (Surat Ali-Imran)
“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you …” (Family of Imran, 3:31)
Halaqas and Mehfils Hold a Tremendous Reality
If you know then from the world of light that all those lights are sitting there at that ligh. Every mehfil (gathering), those lights must be here. What then the light of Prophet ﷺ dresses your soul when you enter into the mehfil? Can it be mentioned? What would you do for, for one meeting in the presence of Prophet ﷺ?
It means as soon as your soul enters into that association, it’s been dressed by them, blessed by them, interceded upon. That, it is now attached to them. They’re responsible for that soul. They’re responsible for your being. They’re going to continuously dress you and bless you and emanate and perfect you. Those are the associations of mehfil. Those are the associations of zikr (remembrance).
You can stand a thousand nights, earn a thousand lifetimes of praying somewhere, that’s not going to happen. There’s no promise from that. If there’s a holy one there, and that one is doing that, that maybe something different. But this is a tremendous gift from the Divinely Presence. The halaqas and the mehfils (gatherings), they hold a tremendous reality. And that’s why the ones who attend the mehfil, their nurani, they’re filled with light, they’re dripping lights. Why? Because its sahib (owner) is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and they keeping the company of Prophet ﷺ. They’re ashiqeen (lovers) Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Even the Angels Didn’t Understand the Magnificence of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Imagine then the lights that ﷺ dressing upon them, dressing upon their face, dressing upon their reality. And they describe, it’s like moving into the sun. What type of sins you may have? That’s why Allah (AJ) said, the angels didn’t understand the magnificence and the munificence of the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Because in the hadith, the angels asked, ‘Ya Rabbi, all that they’re going to bless that association. There is maybe one who is not from them?’ And the angels, and the, Allah (AJ) answered back that, ‘Don’t talk. Because of the power of that association, they’ll all be dressed by it.’
أَخَرَجَ مُسْلِمٌ وَالْحَاكِمُ- وَاللَّفْظَ لَهُ- عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةِ قَالٍ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:” إِنَّ لله مَلَاَئِكَةَ سَيَّارَةٍ وَفُضَلَاَءٍ، يَلْتَمِسُونَ مُجَالِسَ الذِّكْرِ فِي الْأرْضِ، فَإِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَى مَجْلِسِ ذِكْرِ حَفِّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا بِأجْنِحَتِهِمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، فَيَقُولُ اللهُ: مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتُم ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: جِئْنَا مِنْ عِنْدَ عُبَّادِكَ يُسَبِّحُونَكَ وَيُكْبِرُونَكَ وَيَحْمَدُونَكَ وَيُهَلِّلُونَكَ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ وَيَسْتَجِيرُونَكَ، فَيَقُولُ: مَا يَسْأَلُونَ ؟ وَهُوَ أعْلَمُ، فَيَقُولُونَ: يَسْأَلُونَكَ الْجَنَّةَ، فَيَقُولُ: وَهَلْ رأوها ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَا يَا رُبَّ، فَيَقُولُ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رأوها، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: ومم يَسْتَجِيرُونِي ؟ وَهُوَ أعْلَمُ بِهُمْ، فَيَقُولُونَ: مِنَ النَّارِ، فَيَقُولُ: وَهَلْ رأوها ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: لَا، فَيَقُولُ: فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رأوها ؟ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: اِشْهَدُوا أَنِّيَّ قَدْ غَفَرَتْ لَهُمْ وَأَعْطَيْتُهُمْ مَا سَأَلُونِي وَأَجْرَتْهُمْ مِمَّا اِسْتَجَارُونِي، فَيَقُولُونَ: رَبِّنَا، إِنَّ فَيَهُمُّ عَبْدَا خِطَاءِ جَلَسَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ، فَيَقُولُ: وَهُوَ أَيْضًا قَدْ غَفَرَتْ لَهُ، هُمِ الْقَوْمُ لَا يَشْقَى بِهُمْ جَلِيسُهُمْ”.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (ra) narrates from Rasulullah (pbuh) that “There are Allah’s angels roaming the streets, looking for the People of Dhikr, When they find the gathering of zikr, they call out to each other and form a circle around this gathering that reaches to Sky. ……..
And Allah says: “I am making you witness that I have forgiven them. One of the angels says: “O my Lord, someone was there who did not belong to that group, but came for some other need.” Allah says: “Those are such a group that anyone who sits with them — no matter for what reason — will also have his sins forgiven.”
Because the angels didn’t understand the azimat (greatness) of Prophet ﷺ. That when Nurul Muhammad ﷺ comes into that association, can there be a dirt that would be left? Can there be a sin that would be left? With that light? Imagine trying to move into this sun which is the tiniest of these realities. You burn everything on the approach to that light. Imagine then light of Prophet ﷺ.
Nurul Muhammad ﷺ Cleanses All Sins
In this nasheed we were just reciting tonight, that the light on your forehead is the light of the entire created universe. Just the light from your forehead is the light of the entire created universe.
رَسُولُ اللهِ يَا، ضَاوِي الـْجَبِينِ وَيَامَنْ جَآءَ بِالـْحَقِّ الْمُبِيْن
Rasulullahi yaa, dawil jabini
Wayaa man ja’a bil haqqil mubini
O Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)), the bright light of your forehead
is the sun that has illuminated the universes, You came with an absolute truth
Can you approach that light and have like sins and darknesses upon you? It wipe it clean. This means Azimat of Allah (AJ), that it (sin) is so small, it’s so insignificant. We think we’re big. As soon as you look at the Hubble Spacecraft, you see the vastness and the hugeness of this galaxy. Where are you in that galaxy? A little, little epsilon, a dot that not even recognized, and upon that dot, you have dirtiness. It be washed and cleaned. Not through your amal (actions). That wouldn’t happen through your salat (prayer). That doesn’t happen through your zakat (charity), and that doesn’t happen through your fasting because maybe your fasting wasn’t accepted. It is not going to happen like that. You’re not going to be dressed by Nurul Mustafa ﷺ.[Pic]
The Whole Universe Was Waiting For Arrival of ‘Rahmatal lil ‘Aalameen ﷺ
Then imagine that barakah on the night in which Allah (AJ) granted the Rahmatal lil ‘aalameen (mercy upon creation). The night in which Allah (AJ), all of the created universe, was waiting, was waiting for the arrival of Rahmatan lil ‘aalameen. They existed within a fraction of that reality.
﴾وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ﴿١٠٧
21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatal lil’alameen.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad (pbuh)], except as a mercy to the worlds/creation.” (The Prophets, 21:107)
Reality of Sayyidina YaSeen ﷺ Was Sent By ‘Azizir Raheem
And when Allah (AJ) destined the 12th of Rabi’ul Awwal, that light to come, in Suratul YaSeen, that Allah (AJ) says, Tanzilul‘Aziz Raheem (sent down by the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful)., Just the first four verses of Suratul YaSeen. Allah (AJ) is testifying by YaSeen ﷺ, and by My Qu’ran al Hakeem, and that every wisdom, and every power that you Muslims know, is Qur’an. Every qudra is holy Qur’an. Allah (AJ) says by its wisdom and by My holy Qur’an, I’m, I’m swearing by the name of Sayyidina YaSeen ﷺ because he’s heart of holy Qur’an. He’s the heart, the habib (beloved) of Allah (AJ).
﴾يس ﴿١﴾ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ ﴿٢﴾ إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿٣﴾ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿٤﴾ تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿٥
36:1-5 – “Ya-seen. (1) Wal Qur’anal Hakeem. (2) Innaka laminal mursaleen. (3) ‘Ala siratim mustaqeem. (4) Tanzilal ‘Azizir Raheem. (5)” (Surat YaSeen)
“Ya-seen.(1) By the Qur’an, full of Wisdom. (2) Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers. (3) On a straight path. (4) A Revelation descended/sent down by the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (5)” (YaSeen, 36:1-5)
Allah (AJ) Sent Prophet Muhammad ﷺ From Heavens to Bless All Universes
Say that power is coming tanzila (decends), from sifat ul ‘Aziz (Exalted in Might) from sifat ar Raheem (Most Merciful). That it’s coming from Raheem which means it’s coming from the deep realities of paradises, and sending that light of Prophet ﷺ down onto your sifat of Rahman, because ‘Ar-Rahmanu ‘alal ‘arshi istawa.’
﴾الرَّحْمَـٰنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَىٰ ﴿٥
20:5 – “ArRahmanu ‘alal ‘arshi istawa.” (Surat Taha)
“The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established.” (Ta-ha, 20:5)
The Rahman is the governing sifat of the created world of form. Allah (AJ) saying now I’m sending from Raheem. I’m sending from that sifat, that Nurul Muhammad ﷺ. ‘Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatan lil ‘aalameen,’ (Qur’an, 21:107) that light of Prophet ﷺ entered into this dunya (material world), entered into the dunya and took the form of the body of Prophet ﷺ.
﴾وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ﴿١٠٧
21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatal lil’alameen.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad (pbuh)], except as a mercy to the worlds/creation.” (The Prophets, 21:107)
Don’t think, when Allah (AJ), there’s no time. That, that is a moment on a hijab (veil), that on that Rabi’ul Awwal, when Allah (AJ) Tanzila, begins to send these lights, it happening eternally. It’s not one time it happened. Allah (AJ) eternally blesses all of the created universes with this light and rahmah (mercy) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That Allah (AJ), ‘Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatan lil ‘aalameen, I wouldn’t have sent it, but it’s a mercy for all the created universes.’
Mawlid an Nabi ﷺ is a Tremendous Mercy For All of Creation
So, imagine then sitting on that night spending your rizq (sustenance) for that night, eating on that night, making mehfil on that night. Can that night be compared with any other night in your existence? If Allah (AJ) gave you just life for that one night, that is enough for you to reach the darajats (stations) that you could never imagine. Imagine if He gave you a thousand lives and you missed that night. Then even a thousand lives, that don’t include a mehfil is of any value. But if He give you a life in which you can reach to a mehfil and reach to a Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ, it’s huge.
And they’re thinking about the fruits and the beverages, and saying why you have to have a party? All of the created universe is celebrating that reality in which Allah (AJ) sent the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ into the world of form. Its reality to come and to be the imam of the world of form, to bring the Rahmah of Allah (AJ) in the world of form. And to take all the world of form on its ma’rifah up into the heavens. You can’t go into the party without the host. You can’t enter somewhere without the host. Its host is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So, it was a tremendous reality. So, imagine you’re sitting for that reality, to be dressed by that reality.
We pray that Allah (AJ) give us a wisdom and an understanding. Mehfil is nothing small. Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ is nothing small, but a tremendous mercy for all of creation. We pray that Allah (AJ) give us life to go from one mehfil to next mehfil, see Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ.
