Nature Speaks to Those With Open Hearts
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Efface Yourself to Be Nothing
Alhamdulillah for this blessed month and blessings to all those whom watching, participating and following this blessed path of muhabbat, ishq, love and good manners to draw us near to the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ; to be a weak servant and admit our weakness and to efface ourself and bring ourself to be nothing. Nothing in the presence of Allah (AJ), in the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, in the presence of awliyaullah (saints) fis samayi wa fil ard (in heavens and on earth).
Understanding the Secret of “Inna Huwa Sulaiman wa inna Huwa Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” (Holy Qu’ran, 27:30)
Alhamdulillah, that Allah (AJ) bringing us on this caravan of ishq and muhabbat (love) and the immense realities of the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. In this holy surah (chapter), the 27th surah on this third lunar month, we get to the point of Sayyidina Sulaiman (as) receiving a letter or sending a letter out to the queen of Sheba, Bilqis. In that letter comes for us the secret of “Inna Huwa Sulaiman wa inna Huwa Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.”
27:30 – “Inna Hu min Sulaymana, Wa inna Hu Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” (Surat An-Naml)
“Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, He/it is (as follows): ‘In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (The Ant, 27:30)
It means that we entered this journey on the first lunar month, Surah Tawbah, the 9th surah (chapter) of holy Qur’an and no “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” because the entry to that is “Bismillah Allahu Akbar” (In the Name of Allah, the Greatest).
“Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” (Surat al Fatiha)
“In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.” (The Opener, 1:1)
Live a Life of Khidmat to Serve Humanity
That to get rid of the bad character, sacrifice ourself, live a life of sacrifice in which we want to sacrifice our character for the benefit of Allah (AJ), benefit of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Not to benefit Allah (AJ), but for satisfying Allah (AJ), for what He wants for us to be the benefit of humanity. That’s what we talked about last night. That all of creation sacrificing itself. That the trees allow you to cut them, to burn them for warmth, cut them for your furnishing and for your home and for your house and eat of its fruits.
Everything you take from nature, it doesn’t hit you back. It doesn’t ask you for a receipt. It doesn’t do anything of a hisaab (account) for you, but it shows us: live a life of service. That, serve humanity and that’s khidmat al khalq (service to creation). How to live a life of khidmat (service) and to serve without asking for something back, without expecting something in return. This is the example that the ant had, the creation has.
All of Nature Serves Without Asking Anything in Return
All of Allah’s (AJ) creation in nature give the perfect example of khidmat (service). The tree, you hit it and it gives you fruit. You cut it and it gives you warmth. Allah (AJ) could have put a mouth on the tree, that every time you hit it, the branch come and hit you back like in the Lord of the Rings movie.
As soon as you bothered the tree, it got up and ‘pow’. Can you imagine every time you go through nature, you do something wrong, the nature smack you? You don’t know where you got hit from. Oh, of course they could be angry if Allah (AJ) wanted them to be angry. But Allah (AJ) gave for us, ‘I teach you from within yourself and upon the horizon.’ The horizon can be right in front of the nose of creation.
41:53 – “Sanureehim ayatina fil afaqi wa fee anfusihim hatta yatabayyana lahum annahu alhaqqu…” (Surat Al-Fussilat)
“We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth…” (Explained in Detail, 41:53)
Without Good Character, Your Knowledge Has No Value
That we see that example in everything around us trying to serve Allah (AJ) with the best of character. So, when people are wondering, ‘What’s all this talk about character? Why you don’t study this fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) and that fiqh?’ This knowledge, without good character, is of absolutely no value. It’s not a knowledge that increases Allah (AJ), but the knowledge is supposed to give something to your character so that your soul’s power is increasing.
So, the only way that knowledge has benefit is when the servant has good character. So, we look all around and Allah (AJ) drawing our attention in this immense month of realities that, ‘Look at My creation. They all have amazing gifts far superior to your gift unless you fine tune your reality and bring yourself to your reality.’
Nature Has an Interconnected Communication System
So, alhamdulillah, we see that example in everything in our life. That when we walk through nature and that’s why so many people are pleased with nature. They find a sense of immense peace, immense ocean of submission. We say its immensity is something that can’t be understood.
That as soon as a servant walks upon a forest and a mountain, they have their own internet. Every vein of every tree of every root of every flower is interconnected. It is in complete communication with each other. Every tree knows that a servant has entered onto that or an oppressor has entered onto that domain, onto that mountain or into that forest. So, they have a communication system. Allah (AJ) describes, ‘None know it but the men of tafakkur (contemplation). “Yusabihu wa bi Hamdi,” that everything has a praise of Allah (AJ). ‘None of you know it but the people of tafakkur.’
17:44 – “Tusabbihu lahus samawatus sab’u wal ardu wa man fee hinna wa in min shayin illa yusabbihu bihamdihi wa lakin la tafqahoona tasbeehahum innahu kana haleeman ghafoora.” (Surat Al Isra)
“The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt [praises] Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.” (Holy Quran, The Night Journey 17:44)
Allah (AJ) Empowers Your Soul When He is in Your Heart
Because we talk that the tafakkur (contemplation) leads them to open their spiritual, that they begin to open their ruhaniyat (spirituality) and their spiritual light. When they operate from their world of light, when they call upon their soul’s energy and the abundance of their faculties. When their heart became the house of Allah (AJ), Allah’s (AJ) light went into their ears and into their eyes and into their breath. It means Allah (AJ) empowered their soul on this Earth.
Everything Consists of Energy and Light
As a result, with their light, they merely begin to reflect that light out. The common denominator in everything is energy and light. No matter its form is a squirrel, is a duck, is a giraffe, is a tree. It has a light reality because you only see the form and then that light breaks down into an energy reality.
So, its an energy that is making that light to appear. When that light appears, you see its form and its appearance. So, when you operate from the world of light and energy, as soon as they enter into an environment, every energy is communicating. The tree has a communication. We said they don’t open that until the last days and some servants, Allah (AJ) opened it for them for the hikmah (wisdom) of what Allah (AJ) wants.
When You’re Operating From Your Soul, You Can Hear Nature Communicate
But when they’re operating from their soul, they enter into a forest. They can hear the trees and their communication. That they can communicate. The kingdom of Sayyidina Sulaiman (as) and this is only a drop of the kingdom of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. This is only to give us an understanding of that kingdom.
When that Allah (AJ) want to open your hearing, open your seeing, open your breath, open your senses and your feet and your qadam and your movement, so much so that you become Rabbaniyoon (lordly soul) and that your will is matching the Will of Allah (AJ) and you merely, ‘Kun faya koon’.
‘An Abi Hurairah (ra) qala, Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ : InnAllaha ta’ala qala: “ …, wa la yazaalu ‘Abdi yataqarrabu ilayya bin nawafile hatta ahebahu, fa idha ahbabtuhu kunta Sam’ahul ladhi yasma’u behi, wa Basarahul ladhi yubsiru behi, wa Yadahul lati yabTeshu beha, wa Rejlahul lati yamshi beha, wa la in sa alani la a’Teyannahu, …”
[Hadith Qudsi, Sahih al Bukhari, Raqam: 6502)
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) that: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that: Allah the Almighty said: “…My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts of worship so that I shall love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him…” [Holy Hadith, Authentic by al-Bukhari, # 6502]
Whatever is in Your Heart Will Manifest
It means you’re not manifesting your power for a parking space, but you’re manifesting your power to the Will of Allah (AJ) which then has no limit. That’s why when they put their heart into something, it begins to open. That’s why Allah (AJ) warns believers, ‘Be careful for what you wish for.’
‘An Abi Hurairah (ra) qala: Qala Rasulullahi ﷺ “Izaa tamanna ahadukum falyandhur ma yatamanna fayinnahu la yadri ma yuktabu lahu min yumniyatihi.” [8674 Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, 8/389, the Hadith scholar: Ahmad Shakir]
Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “If one of you has a desire, let him be careful what he wishes for. He does not know which of his desires will be decreed for him.” [8674 Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, 8/389, the Hadith scholar: Ahmad Shakir]
You know what you’re putting in your heart, it’s manifesting. You know it, you don’t know it. You’re angry with somebody, you’re happy with somebody. You’re asking for things and these things will begin to manifest or the destiny that you’re asking for begins to manifest. Many things open for people and they’re astonished and surprised or frightened by what they were asking for. So, it means that this power of light and this power of energy is immense. They can look to the flowers and they can hear the zikr (Divine remembrance) and the tasbih (praise) of the flowers and what their praise is to Allah (AJ) and what their benefit is.
Prophetic Medicine Taught Awliya With Open Hearts
So, this is the way of teb e Nubuwwah. That the real prophetic medicine was that the support of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ would open the heart of awliyaullah (saints) and everything would give itself to teach them. When they wanted to understand astronomy, they were astonished that how these scientists of old which we call them ‘awliya’ – saints, how they knew the perfect geometry when they didn’t leave their station? Oh, because Allah (AJ) brought the Earth to them and began to rotate for that. The Earth explained itself to that wali (saint).
When they wanted to understand about the sun, the sun appears to them and begins to rotate and teach its reality to that awliya. So, then they would document it. They were astonished, ‘How these Muslim scholars knew all these things?’ Oh, because they’re a servant to the Creator of the entire kingdom of God. So, when Allah (AJ) wants, He makes that kingdom to come and serve that creation. So, they’re the power that Allah (AJ) open from this Sulaimaniyah understanding is immense. That now today there are awliya who the virus appears to them and comes and shows itself that, ‘This is who I am. This is my reality.’
Even Rocks and Trees Spoke to Prophet ﷺ
So it’s not something astonishing. Everything is under the mulk (dominion) of Allah (AJ). The flowers will tell itself what it does and what its reality is. At that time, they have the teb e Nubuwwah (prophetic medicine) and the healing. That it would tell the servant of Allah (AJ) its remedy. That, ‘Use me for such and such or don’t use me because of my poisonous nature for such and such.’ So, it means for everything was immensity. The creatures of Allah (AJ) can communicate to them and convey what their purpose, what their understanding, what their benefit. So, alhamdulillah, even is in hadith of Prophet ﷺ that how the pebbles were speaking and making zikr (Divine remembrance), how the stump of wood was crying when Prophet ﷺ was not sitting upon it.

An Abi Dharr al Ghifari (ra), qala: ‘Inni lashahidun ʿindan Nabiyi ﷺ fi halqatin, wa fi yadihi hasa fasabbahna fi yadihi, wa fiina Abu Bakr (as) wa ʿUmar (as) wa ʿUthman (as) wa ʿAli (as), fasamiʿa tasbihahunna man fil halqati. Narrated by Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (ra): “ We were together with God’s Messenger (pbuh) in a circle, and he had some small stones in his hand, and they glorified (God) in his hand. Among us were Abu Bakr (as), ‘Umar (as), ‘Uthman (as), and ‘Ali (as), and the people in the circle heard their glorification. Then, the Prophet (pbuh) handed them to Abu Bakr (as), and they continued to glorify with Abu Bakr (as), and the people in the circle heard their glorification. Then, he (pbuh) took them back, and they glorified in his hand. Then, he (pbuh) handed them to ‘Umar (as), and they glorified in his hand, and the people in the circle heard their glorification. Then, he (pbuh) handed them to Uthman ibn Affan (as), and they glorified in his hand. Then, he handed them to us, and they did not glorify with any of us.” [Al-Mu’jam Al-Awsat, by Al-Tabarani – Abu al-Qasim Sulayman bin Ahmad bin Ayyub, Page 143 – Volume 2]
And
‘An ibni ‘Umara (as), kaanan Nabiyu ﷺ yakhtubu ila jiz’in falammaat takhazal minbara tahawwala ilayhi, fahannal jiz’u, fayataahu famasaha yadahu ‘alayhi. [Sahih al-Bukhari 3583, Book 61, Hadith 92]
Narrated Sayyidina Ibn ‘Umar (as): The Prophet (pbuh) used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a datepalm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet (pbuh) went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying). [Sahih al-Bukhari 3583, Book 61, Hadith 92]
Enter the Door of Tawbah Through the Cave of Al-Kahf to Celebrate Mawlid an Nabi ﷺ
So, these are the Prophetic reality and the Prophetic sunnah (traditions of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ). This immensity of this kingdom is then something that Allah (AJ) inspire within our hearts that move into that reality. So, when that letter appears, “Inna Huwa Sulaiman wa inna Huwa Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” That this “Inna Huwa Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” is the secret and the dress that Allah (AJ) want to dress the people who are entering into this ocean of ma’rifah (gnosticism).
That you entered in, in Surat al Tawbah. That you put yourself and put your head upon the table, ‘Ya Rabbi, sacrifice my bad character and don’t let it stop. Let it only be completed when You’re satisfied that this bad character and this badness leaves me. What You see of me is something that Your rida and Your satisfaction is pleased with.’ Then they enter from Surah Tawbah into Surat al Kahf. They asked to enter into this cave of realities, in this dress of reality and then opened the 27th month and the birth of “Muhammadun Rasulullah”.
Activate the Reality of Mawlid an Nabi ﷺ Within Your Heart
The Milad un Nabi ﷺ (celebration of the holy birth of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ) is that birth of reality within the heart of the servant. That, ‘Ya Rabbi, my light is not going to go anywhere. My light and my ability is not going to do anything, ya Rabbi. Let me to be victorious. Let the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ… “Wa Feekum” – that his light is within me, ya Rabbi. Ignite it. Ignite that love. Ignite that reality so that the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ within me begins to blossom, begins to be activated. That begin, hodan – becomes a guidance for me; becomes one whom defending me and inspiring me ﷺ.’
“Just as We have sent among (within) you a messenger from your own, reciting to you Our Signs, and purifying you, and teaching you the Scripture/Book and Wisdom and teaching you New Knowledge, that which you did not know.” (Quran, The Cow 2:151)
Those Whose Hearts are Ignited With Love of Prophet ﷺ Reached Clear Victory
Its immensity that Allah (AJ) wanted us to activate that reality. As soon as the mawlid (celebration of the birthday of Prophet ﷺ) comes and the month of Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ that is “Inna Fatahna laka Fathan Mubeena,” the great and clear victory are those whom ignited the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ within their heart.
48:1 – “Inna fatahna laka Fatham Mubeena.” (Surat Al-Fath)
“Verily We have granted you [Muhammad (pbuh)] a manifest Victory.” (The Victory, 48:1)
Right? We’ve talked many times on that surah (chapter), surah 48, Surat al-Fath. “Inna fatahna laka Fatham Mubeena.” “Verily We have granted thee a manifest Victory.” What is the clear victory? What can be ‘clear victory’ for Allah (AJ)? Is if the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ open within the heart of His creation.
Allah (AJ) Supports Us With a Mighty Support (Holy Qur’an, 48:3)
Then all the four, five verses of the Surat al Fath – that is a sign of what Allah (AJ) will give the believer. That wash away all their bad from past. Wash away all their future badness. Clean them, perfect them, keep them on Siratal Mustaqim (straight path) which is the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. “Wa yansurakAllahu nasran ‘aziza.” That Allah (AJ), ‘I will support your reality with a mighty support.’
48:1-3 – “Innaa fatahna laka fatham mubina (1) Liyaghfira lakaallaahu maa taqaddama min dhanbika wa maa taakhkhara wa yutimma ni’matahu ‘alayka wa yahdiyaka siraathan mustaqima (2) Wa yansurakAllahu nasran ‘aziza (3)” (Surat Al Fath)
” Indeed, We granted you, [O Muhammad], a manifest Victory (1) That Allah may forgive you your faults of the past and those to follow; and fulfill His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path (2) And [that] Allah may help you with a mighty victory (3)” ( The Victory 48:1-3)
Ahlul Bayt Guard the Reality of “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem”
So, it means then “Inna Huwa Sulaiman wa Inna Huwa Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem”. Then awliyaullah (saints) come into our life and describe that, that “Inna Huwa Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” is the secret and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That the “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” is the secret and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” is comprised of 19 letters and these are the 19 souls that guard and dress and manifest that reality. That’s ‘Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain.
These are 19 letters that comprise and hold the reality of “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem”; all of what comes from oceans of knowledges in the reality of “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem”. So, it means that that’s a question that Allah (AJ) ask to us. “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” was not given to any nation because that’s the secret and the reality of the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. “Bismi.” In what name of Allah (AJ), “Ar-Rahmanir Raheem” (The most Beneficent and the most Merciful), opens every reality. That’s why Prophet ﷺ is the umbrella of that secret that “Li wal Hamd” and the one whom is most praised, ‘Muhammd’.
Recite “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” Multiple Times Each Day
The one whom is most praised in Divinely Presence and in the kingdom of Allah (AJ) and that’s the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That when Allah (AJ) want to open in this holy surah (chapter) in this holy month, He wants to give the key of Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem – that, ‘Now that you’re entering into this cave and entering into these lights and entering into these realities, this is the key of all keys.’ That’s why Mawlana Shaykh (Q) would say, ‘Say Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Say Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem 786 times in a day. Say it 21 times in a day or say it 3 times in a day’ because this is its power. This is a secret in its number.
That when we understand its reality, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem that, ‘I’m asking, ya Rabbi, by the secret that you have dressed upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ with that knowledge and with that intention, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. That make everything to open, every door that closed for me ya Rabbi, by the power of Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem; Bismika Ya Sayyidi Ya Rasulul Kareem (the most generous messenger) in this name that Allah (AJ) has given to you of secrets and realities by that power, ya Rabbi, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.’
Ask For the Reality of Muhammadun Rasulullah Through Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
That’s why Allah (AJ) gives that in this surah (chapter) of the kingdom. The kingdom that was given, the kingdom of the heavens and the Earth which its example was Sayyidina Sulaiman (as) commanding the unseen, commanding creatures, commanding the angels, commanding everything for his kingdom. That was only the example of the Muhammadan kingdom that far more powerful.
That was just a small drop of the reality of the Muhammadan kingdom. That Allah (AJ) giving a secret of Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. When you say, ‘Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,’ you are asking for that reality of “Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ” – the one whom Miftah ar-Rahmah, the key of mercy. The key that opens everything’s that closed, the key of all realities. We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us with it, bless us with these realities and make us to be worthy of its immensities and to be dressed by its immense blessings, inshaAllah. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
