Mark Your Ground with Divine Law
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Pray to Become From ‘Arifeen as We Reach the Month of Hajj
Alhamdulillah, that Allah (AJ) granted us this beatific path of ishq and muhabbat (love) and this way to the heart of the Divine reality, the flower and the essence of all spirituality and the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Alhamdulillah, that our 12 months of journeying coming to its immense realities in the holy month of hajj (pilgrimage), opening in the next week or so. That we pray Allah (AJ) grant us the reality of hijrah (migration) and that to be dressed on Jabal ar Rahmah, on the mountain of mercy and to reach for the ‘Arafah and to become from ‘arifeen and the knowers of a Divine reality.
Those who perform the rituals of Islam and they receive its tabarak (blessings). Those whom Allah (AJ) wants to guide to its realities is no comparison. Once you learn from a reality and then you perform the reality, you’re performing based on its immense haqqaiq and its immense realities. This is a gift of guidance from Allah (AJ). For that, we owe lifetimes of existence just to thank Allah (AJ) for this gift.
Our Journey Begins Again With the Coming of Muharram
So, it’s something that’s not comprehensible. It’s not something even imagine that how we landed on this path. How from billions of people who accepting the way of the heavens and then from those just a pocket of them, Allah (AJ) destines to come aside and teach the haqqaiqs and the realities and Divine grace and to dress their heart and their spirit, their soul, with immense realities and immense blessings. It means this is an immense gift from the Divinely Presence.
Alhamdulillah, that last night we went into one of the realities of Sayyidina Isma’il (as). That comes to our life and reminds us that your whole life and this whole year of yours — because as this year comes to its end in hajj, which we reach the pinnacle of that year of pilgrimage — the journey again begins in Muharram which Muharram is the month of tawbah (repentance), the month of asking forgiveness and reconfirming that we took a path of sacrifice.
Holy Qur’an Guides All of Creation, Making Things Clear
We enter into the month of tawbah, the month of Muharram in which Surah Tawbah sets the theme of our life. That at the gate of the way of realities, there’s no “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” on Surah Tawbah. It’s the only surah (chapter) of Holy Qur’an that the gate of “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” is missing. The secret of it has to be understood. That with “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” – “In the name of God’s compassion and mercy,” we ask for excuses. We fall short and say, ‘Ya Rabbi, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem – forgive me. I intended to do this, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, ya Rabbi, forgive me and I didn’t do it. I wanted to achieve this, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, and I didn’t do it.’
It’s a mercy and a means in which to avoid a sense of accountability because Allah’s (AJ) rahmah and mercy, no doubt. But this way of ma’rifah (gnosticism), that these awliyaullah (saints) are teaching, that the Qur’an guides all of creation. There are specific gateways within the Holy Qur’an that are guiding the ‘ashiqeen (lovers) and muhibbin (lovers of the way) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ because Prophet’s ﷺ heart is Manzil ul Qur’an (where the Holy Qur’an emanates), the heart of Qur’an. “Inna huwa zikrun wal Qur’anil Mubeen”.
36:69 – “Wa ma’allamnahush shi’ra wa ma yambaghee lahu, in huwa illa dhikrun wa Quranun Mubeen.” (Surat YaSeen)
“We have not taught him (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) poetry, nor it is befitting for him. He (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) is not but Zikr (Remembrance/Praise) and the Qur’an making things clear.” (YaSeen, 36:69)
Single Digits are the Source Code for Openings of Realities
Allah (AJ) describes one of the descriptions of the ruhaniyat (spirituality) of Prophet ﷺ in Surah YaSeen, “Inna hu zikrun wal Qura’nil Mubeen”. From that reality of Qur’an, there must be secret pathways into these haqqaiqs; one of which are these 12 pardeh, 12 veils, that are in relationship to ‘Izzatullah (Allah’s (AJ) Might and Magnificence) under the realities of the power 9. That 9 being the highest number and the highest authority. That 1 through 9; huwal awwal – 1, huwwal akhir – 9 are the building block of all numbers because the single digits hold the power.
25 is just a 2 and a 5 so its power would being combined in the one number. So, 2 and 5 would be 7. Its power is in 7. So, you can infinitely expand a reality. So, you put 786, then you say, okay, I want to collapse this. You take 7 + 8 + 6 opens now a reality more condensed. Computer programmers know this because you’re going to make it into a pocket of 21. So, 7 + 8 + 6, you push it down into its deeper reality, becomes 21. Then you say no, I want to bring it now even to a deeper reality. I’m going to put 2 + 1 become 3. The single digits are the source code for everything they’re going to open. So, from 3 is opening all these realities. So, then the knowledge of numbers is an immense reality.
9 is the Most Powerful Number in All Religions
As a result, the 9 is the most most powerful number. It symbolizes the kingdom. From all religions, they know that. So, their candlestick has 8 and 1. They know that all of creation is to serve the one. That one, they say, ‘Oh, to serve Allah (AJ)’, but its reality is how you’re going to serve Allah (AJ). You have to serve the one whom serves Allah (AJ). The only Abdullah is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Everyone else is ubaidullah. They are all the people who should serve the servant of Allah (AJ).
As a result, they knew it on their candlestick because they have candlestick which shows 8 and 1. Allah (AJ) stamped us with 8 and 1. Everyone is stamped with 8 and a 1, 8 and a 1 to remind, ‘You are created to serve My servant and that is service to Me,’ right? Because this is a king and Allah (AJ) says, ‘I am the King Most High and I created a king for all of creation. Dominion is in his hand ﷺ. Serve him. By serving him, loving him, respecting him ﷺ, you are serving Me, the Divinely Presence’.
3:189 – “Wa lillaahi mulkus samaawaati wal ard; wallaahu ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer.” (Surat Ali Imran)
“To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and Allah has power over all things.” (Family of Imran, 3:189)
Beware of Nations That Have Voided Their Contact With the Heavens
So, this is an immense reality in which Allah (AJ) stamped us. So, 18 on one hand, 81 on the other hand means that we stamped with the reality to serve. This 18 and 81 become 99 names of Allah (AJ) that we are stamped and coded with. We only reach to our reality if we fulfill our covenant to serve the king. He’s the only one that serves Allah (AJ). His Dominion becomes clear. His kingdom becomes clear because now the fog of confusion has left the Earth where everybody claimed that they were serving the one.
Then we look onto the horizon, say how they serve the one when they serve themselves? How this cousin say he serves the one, but he serves one who will call himself Allah (AJ)? So, it means all the confusion is lifting from the Earth. The confusion of all different nations – are these all nations representing the one, or they all began to think they are the one? They think they’re the one of Divine, the one, the Creator. They’re awaiting men who will call themselves an ilah. So, devoid of religion, they have voided their contact with the heavens.
Divine Grace is Granted to Us When We Serve Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
The only nation that represents Allah (AJ) and has always represented it’s haqqaiq and its reality, and that would show its glory and magnificence in the last days is the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Its power and its authority is in the allegiance and the service to Prophet ﷺ. That Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ will serve Allah (AJ). As a result of that, we receive our power and our blessings. We fulfill the covenant stamped within our hearts, stamped within our physical bodies. That Allah (AJ) gave these signs for you that don’t forget who you are. ‘You’re not the one. You are merely one to serve My servant.’
Our life, its fulfillment is in that service. Our honour is in that service. Divine grace is granted to us in that service. As a result, Sayyidina Isma’il (as) comes into our life, the bearer of this reality that was opening upon Earth because up until that time, these were the prophets (as) of Bani Israel (children of Israel) from Sayyidina Ibrahim (as). With the advent of the birth and the reality of Sayyidina Isma’il (as) was now coming the line and the firqah (group) of the king of all created universes. That his reality entering onto this Earth would be the symbol of sacrifice and not compromise. That his deen (religion), his light, his way would always stand as a symbol of sacrifice and never a way of compromise.
Don’t Compromise Your Faith, But Sacrifice for Your Lord
They don’t enter into the satanic realm that they know shaitan (satan) is upon this abode. Shaitan was cast upon this abode. The Heavenly Kingdom is not to come onto this abode and to compromise. All faiths knew that. That’s why they make the prayer, ‘Thy kingdom come and thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.’ ‘Thy will be done’ means sacrifice for your Lord. ‘Thy will be done’ does not mean compromise for your Lord. Don’t compromise your faith. Don’t compromise your way. Don’t compromise your character. Don’t compromise what Allah (AJ) wants for you.
Follow the demands and the criteria of the heavens and not the laws of men. The laws of the heaven are what govern. Respect for the laws of men is the way of tariqah (spiritual path). It means when they make a law that has nothing to do with the heavens, the tariqah comes and teaches: be respectful, be humble, have good characteristic and respect the laws of men. But they are the laws of men. They’re not the laws of heavens. Adherence to the law of the heaven is the abode of a servant’s home.
Respect the Laws of Men Under Your Tariqah Teachings and Good Manners
It means this is the immensity of the tariqah (spiritual path) teachings: that when you leave your home, you are under “Atiullah atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum”, not necessarily the Ulul Amr (people of the command) of the heavens, but the people whom have authority of this Earth.
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)
“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
As a result, with your good tariqah teachings and your good manners from the heavens, you say you respect the laws of men. Knowing that men in their imperfection and in their desires, they make their laws. They make their laws. Their laws are not based on a standard of heaven. They compromise their standard and their understandings. They become the laws of men and laws of desires. But with good manners and good character, you leave your home and say that, ‘I’m going to respect them.’
Your Testing is to Live in an Imperfect World Struggling to Reach Perfection
What Allah (AJ) asks of us is that every man is a king of his own kingdom, his home. Govern your home with heavenly laws. This is the good character. It’s not that people who protest and scream on the street and do all these ridiculous things. Allah (AJ) gave them authority. This is a part of the testing in life: is that not to be surrounded by everything easy and everything in perfect condition, but to live in an imperfect world and struggle to be perfect; not that Allah (AJ) make everything to be perfect. Then what would be the purpose of submission?
We would have been like angels, everything just great. ‘But I’m going to surround you with imperfection and through your manners and your character, traverse your life’. So, you step out of your house, laws of men now apply. Be fair. They can be not fair. They can be based on desires. They can say, ‘Oh, when you go out and wash, there’s going to be five different genders in that room.’
Make Your Home Into a Masjid, Running on Divine Law
So, what happens then in the law of men? Step out of your house. Don’t eat and drink so that you don’t have to use their facilities that are governed by the laws of men. It’s not a fitna (confusion); just don’t go in. You now begin to abstain from eating and drinking because what am I going to do? How can I enter into that facility when everybody’s allowed in there together, like a camp and a place to enjoy? Then Allah (AJ) is asking for this becomes now your life become more challenging.
As soon as you step from your home, the laws of men apply. One – how do we traverse that? Then the haqqaiq of my home and my castle, and in my home, the kingdom of Allah (AJ) governs. In my home, I’m responsible that I want my home to be a masjid. I want to call the azaan (call to prayer) in my home. I want the inhabitants of my home to pray. I want the inhabitants of my home to fast. I want the inhabitants of my home to abide by halal (permissible) and haram (forbidden).
Allah (AJ) Doesn’t Change Our Condition Until We Change From Within (Holy Qur’an, 13:11)
Every man responsible for their kingdom, not the outside kingdom of other men. This is the difference of people who want to agitate other people, but never fix themselves. When Allah (AJ) is giving to us, ‘I don’t change a condition until the people change themselves. I don’t change a condition of a person and of a people until they change what’s within themselves.’
(Surat Ar-Ra’d)
“Indeed Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (The Thunder, 13:11)
But the dunya (material world) and shaitan is teaching, ‘No, let’s change the people. Forget about the person. We’ll change the collective whole and we’ll get a result’. But Allah (AJ), the Creator, the one who made the situation and opens and delivers every situation, is saying, ‘No, fix yourself. Don’t worry about the collective whole’.
Get Your House in Order for the Heavenly Kingdom, Don’t Worry About Outside
If it’s the Heavenly Kingdom you want, then make your kingdom at home to abide by heavenly laws to the best of one’s ability; again, with good character, love and grace. That becomes the challenge of everyone’s life. People haven’t done any of those things, but they want to go out and protest when all their protest should be at home. That they should be thinking to themselves that I want my abode to be under heavenly commands. I want, in my kingdom, people praying. I want, within my kingdom, people fasting. I want, within my kingdom, to be eating halal (permissible) and following halal and leaving haram (forbidden), even from its sounds, its musics, anything to do with shaitan.
This is our challenge in life. This then is the great struggle in life. It’s not the outside of agitating people, trying to bring everybody into some sort of a belief system when our own kingdom has to be under Allah’s (AJ) command. The one whom their house is not in order, what business do they have dealing with outside? That becomes the way of hypocrisy.
Focus on Teaching Divine Law to Your Family to Build Safety Under Your Roof
It means this way of self-sacrifice is self-sacrifice; not the sacrificing of other people, but the sacrificing of myself. When I have my focus on my life and my family and my children, I find my hands to be full. It’s enough for me to focus in life to get my children to pray, to get them to abstain from bad sounds, to understand the immense blessings and barakah of eating halal and having a halal lifestyle and leaving from haram. That which is forbidden and giving as much as possible of this Divinely love and this Divinely grace and this Divinely teachings and teaching them – one day, you’ll have your own kingdom and you’ll have the free will to govern your kingdom according to heavens or according to shaitan.
I hope that I have taught you and instilled into your heart the benefits of a Heavenly Kingdom. That under this roof and under these teachings, you were safe. Under this roof and under these teachings, you had a sense of peace and security. All these blessings and barakahs you have to contemplate and think: look how much barakah and blessings came from this lifestyle and adherence to the way of Allah (AJ) to the best of our ability, with the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ resonating within our walls and under our roof.
Bring the Oceans of Peace Upon Yourself Anytime By Following Divine Law
One day, you’ll go out to make your own kingdom. If for some reason, you made it to be shaitani and you brought into your life and invited into your life every type of difficulty, every type of unease, then remember the barakah, the blessings and all that was instilled upon you and taught to you. At any time, you can bring it back into the oceans of peace. That by making your salawats (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), by following what Allah (AJ) wanted, by praying within your home, by fasting within your home. That don’t look to the laws of men and to the other kingdoms and other homes of other people.
Because everybody want to say, ‘Oh, what this person look like? They’re so successful and they don’t do anything. They don’t pray and they drink, and they do this, and they do that.’ Say, don’t look to the other kingdoms. We don’t know what type of difficulty are within their walls, hidden, that they don’t tell you about. But our life and the challenge of our life was for every person to have their kingdom and decide: is the law of their kingdom going to be under Allah’s (AJ) governance, under the way of Prophet ﷺ?
This World is Based on Desires, Not Heavenly Morality
As the laws of men become more corrupt now from our home and our responsibility to understanding outside. As we step out of the house, the laws of men become more confusing. Their laws are based on their desires. What their collective want, they begin to apply to people in which their laws become so difficult to adhere to, to abide by and to be involved in. They have morality by majority. Their standard of morality is not based on heavens. It’s based on a majority.
One day they want children, they take them. Next day, they want sheep, they take them. Next day, they want this, they take it. Their rules keep going based on their hawa (desires). As a result, Prophet ﷺ advised for us: a day is coming in which the one whom is sitting is better than the one whom standing. The one whom standing is better than the one whom moving.
Qala aba Hurairah (ra), qala Rasulullahi ﷺ: “Satakonu fitanun alqa’yido fiha khairun minal qayimi, wal qayimi khirun minal mashi, wal mashi fiha khirun minas sa’yi. Man tasharrafa laha tastashrefhu. Faman wajada malja`o aw ma’azan falya’uz behi.”
Abu Hurairah (ra) said, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There will be commotions/turmoil during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing person will be better than a walking one, and the walking person will be better than a running one. And whoever will expose themself to these turmoil, they will be destroyed. So, whoever can find a place of protection or haven for themselves, they should take refuge in it.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 7082]
You are Safest When You Abide By the Laws of Allah (AJ)
Meaning what? That so much fitna (confusion) is coming that go back to where you were safest. If you’re standing, immediately stop where you are. If you stop where you are, remember that you were safest when you were sitting. It means take yourself back to your own kingdom where you’re safe, where under your kingdom, you abide by the laws of Allah (AJ).
As a result, the grace of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the ishq and love and muhabbat of Prophet ﷺ begins to dress that reality. That the whole world can be raining fire, but under the kingdom of Allah (AJ) can be “Salamun qawlam mir Rabbir Raheem.”
36:58 – “Salamun qawlam mir Rabbir Raheem.” (Surat YaSeen)
“Peace,” a word from a Merciful Lord. (YaSeen, 36:58)
You Will Be Under Protection Keeping Your Good Manners in the Last Days
“Qulna ya naaru, kunee Bardan wa Salaman ‘ala Ibrahim.”
﴾قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُونِي بَرْدًا وَسَلَامًا عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ﴿٦٩
21:69 – “Qulna ya naaru, kunee Bardan wa Salaman ‘ala Ibrahim.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)
“We said, O fire, be cool and Peaceful upon Abraham.” (The Prophets, 21:69)
That the fire can be raining down upon the entire Earth, but Allah (AJ) saves His kingdom. It means they’re under the lights of protection, the realities of protection. This becomes an immense reality in last days. That people begin to protest because they don’t like. They don’t like what they’re understanding, what they’re seeing. But tariqah (spiritual path) comes and teaches: keep your good manners for these are the laws of men and men are corrupted.
Our Struggle is in Keeping Peace Within Our Homes and Those Around Us
But where we are responsible is within our homes, within the heart and souls of our loved ones to teach them how to keep Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Grace, how to keep the nazar (gaze) and the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ to be safe, to be dressed, to be blessed. This becomes our life of sacrifice. When we sacrifice bad character and adhere to what Allah (AJ) wants for us to the best of our ability. We pray that Allah (AJ) grant us from these lights and grant us from the realities that opening up in the holy month of hajj (pilgrimage).
That as the Earth becomes more and more fitna (confusion), more and more difficulty, more and more corruption, that to find our abode of peace. Peace is something that we have to struggle to keep. Peace is not something that you just want it and it happens. But to struggle to keep peace and to keep negative energies away from ourselves, from our families and from our loved ones. If those negative energies should begin to enter, every type of difficulty visits the servant. We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us from the immensities of lights and love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and the immensities of the lights of the realities of hajj, inshaAllah.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
