Approach the Divinely Fire in Rabi’ul Awwal Through the Door of TaSeen
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi

“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
We Have All Been Stamped With 8 and 1
Always a reminder for myself ana abdukal ajizu daifu miskeen wa zalim wa jahl, and by the grace of Allah (AJ) that we are still in existence. Alhamdulillah for the blessed month of Rabi’ul Awwal and the third lunar month. That the reality of 3 and that Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us from a life in service to the sultanate (kingdom). That we are stamped as a part of that kingdom. That Allah (AJ) gave everyone a stamp of 1 and 8 and some variations in that stamping.
But majority, 90% of humanity is stamped with 1 and 8. On their hand, 8 and 1 and that our life is to be from the 8 and that 8 uphold the throne on Yawm ul-Mashar (day of gathering) and they hold the 1 king.
69:17 – “Wal Malaku ‘ala arjayeha, wa yahmilu ‘Arsha Rabbika fawqahum yawmaidhin thamaniyatun.” (Surat Haqqah)
“And the angels/ will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them.” (The Reality, 69:17)
Lead a Life to Serve Allah’s (AJ) Sultanan Naseera
Our life is to be from that reality of the 8, that a life of service to the kingdom of Allah (AJ) and to His authorized “Sultanan Naseera”, Sayyidina Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ. Our life is based on that magnificent status. The reality it gives the fruit and the flavour of our existence.
17:80 – “Wa qul Rabbi adkhelni mudkhala Sidqin wa akhrejni mukhraja Sidqin waj’al li min ladunka Sultanan NaSeera.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“Say: O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honour, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honour; and grant me from Your Presence a Victorious King to aid (me).” (The Night Journey, 17:80)
In this third month, we open the app, the Muhammadan way app, Google play and on the iTunes app store. You go to the months and I think on the app now, every month that we’re in, it’ll be right there on the face. You click on the month, Rabi’ul Awwal, you go to the general.
Hold Firmly to the Divine Rope in Rabi’ul Awwal
The understanding of the tajjali (manifestation) of the month in this ship of ma’rifah (gnosticism). That awliyaullah (saints), like a gondola, they’re on a course, on hablillah (rope of Allah). They’re holding tight to that rope and it goes back and forth into the heart of all realities.
(Surat Ali ‘Imran)
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not separate…” (Family of Imran, 3:103)
Whoever boards it, they jump on board and it’s moving on a course. It doesn’t make its own course. It’s already defined. Moving, it goes around, comes back, picks up people from dunya (material world). Everyday it has a new mission. People jump on, people log on, people log off. When they come on, this is moving into the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Then we take and we say, ‘Oh, Rabi’ul Awwal.’
27 Reflects as 72 in the Divine Reality
So, under the 9 and the sultanate (kingdom) of 9, the authority and the reality of 9; 9 by this 3rd month opens the secret of 27. “Thabit wal ishreen” (27 in Arabic) by the secret and immense reality of 2 and 7. That all of our holy nights are 27th: Isra wal miraj (Night Journey and Ascension), Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) because the 2 and the 7 have to do with the gate of paradise. Everything is a reflection. Everything is a mirror. So, when we live in a mirror, 2 and 7 on this Earth, then what’s in the heavens? The reflection: 7 and 2, right? This, it reflects in a mirror.
We live in the reflection. This is not the reality. This is the reflection. The heavens is the reality. So, that’s 72. So, as a result, that reality when it reflects onto Earth, it’s 27. That is the entry way into the Divinely kingdom and the Divinely presence, the cave of all realities and the reality of 72. That’s why the gateway here is 27. So, then this is the month of the secret of 27.
The 27th Name of Allah (AJ) is Al-Basir, the All-Seeing
We come and look and say, ‘Okay, then 27th – what’s the 27th name of Allah (AJ)?’ Al-Basir (The All-Seeing). So, then this has to do with the sifat (attribute) of opening your Ahlul Basirah, your spiritual vision. That these are the tajjalis (manifestations) and the light that will be entering into the cave while you enter into this cave. Every reality is a reflection that we’re asking to be dressed upon us. When we’re entering into the Divine kingdom, we’re asking that when we enter into it, it reflect back onto us.
So, Allah (AJ) says that, ‘My kingdom come, My will, will be done.’ If you’re entering into the kingdom that reflection must be upon your own heart. Our heart has to be the kingdom of Allah (AJ). The kingdom of Allah (AJ) is comprised of the immense love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That’s why all that we do is mimicking that kingdom.
Do You Love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ More Than Yourself?
How can Allah have a kingdom without the love of Prophet ﷺ? How can you have a heart that doesn’t have that love and that you’re not overtaken by that love? That’s why Prophet ﷺ described to Sayyidina Umar (as), ‘You have to love me more than you love yourself.’
Wa ‘an ‘Umar (as) qala: “Fawajadtu nafsi aqoolo: Wallahi ya Rasulullahi, inni uhibbuka!
Faqala lahu anNabiyu ﷺ: “Akthara min ahlika ya ‘Umar?” Qultu: Na’am. Qala ﷺ: “Akthara min malika ya ‘Umar?”, Qultu: Na’am. Qala ﷺ: “Akthara min nafsika ya ‘Umar?”, Qala: La.
Faqala anNabiyu ﷺ: “La ya ‘Umar, la yakmulu imanoka hatta akuna ahabba ilayka min nafsika.”
Yaqoolo ‘Umar (as): Fakhrajtu fafakkartu. [Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Majladu al-Rabi’o, raqm al-hadith 594]
Narrated by Sayyidina ‘Umar (as) that he said: “I found myself saying, ‘By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I love you!’ The Prophet (pbuh) said to him, ‘Is it more than your love for your family, O ‘Umar?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He (pbuh) said, ‘Is it more than your love for your wealth, O ‘Umar?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Is it more than your love for yourself, O ‘Umar?’ He said, ‘No.’
The Prophet (pbuh), said, ‘No, O ‘Umar, your faith will not be complete until I become more beloved to you than your own self.’ Sayyidina ‘Umar (as) said: So I went out and thought. Then I returned and shouted, ‘By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, you are more beloved to me than myself.’ The Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘Now, O ‘Umar, now [you got it].’ [Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Hadith #594]
More than you love your pension and your practice and your money and your retirement and all the things that you want to do. The love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is supreme. It’s the flavour and the reality of our life.
Hardship Comes When We Run After Dunya
Anyone running towards that reality, being dressed by that reality, blessed by that reality, Allah (AJ) will make all of dunya (material world) to run after them. Because you’re running after what Allah (AJ) loves, Allah (AJ) make dunya to throw flowers for you and make your way towards Allah (AJ) with rose petals. But anyone running after dunya and leaving Allah (AJ), Allah (AJ) don’t throw roses for you. You get something else will come (Shaykh laughs). The dunya throws thorns at you because it’s teaching us, ‘Why you’re running towards us? Run towards the Creator.’ Then dunya becomes hard and punishing for the believer.
So, then they’re teaching us this direction and this love, this way resolves every difficulty: financial difficulty, spiritual difficulty, mental difficulty, physical difficulty. When we run in the correct direction in our life and our focus is into that cave, into that love, then we say sifat al-Basir (attribute of All-Seeing). That Allah (AJ), ya Rabbi going to dress me, ‘I’m going to dress your heart from a light that will make you to be from Ahlul Basirah’ (people of spiritual vision) whether it’s this year, next year, following year. Stay this course. Do these practices. These lights are opening into the heart of the believer.
Prophet ﷺ is Sayyidina Mudathir ﷺ, the One Who Shows Patience in Tyranny
Then the name of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, from Dalail ul Khairat (book of praising on Prophet ﷺ), the 27th name that and they put it first not bey-ihtiram (disrespectful) but for us to understand. Allah’s (AJ) name is always highest beyond imagination but you can’t get into the lock without a key. That sifat al-Basir (attribute of All-Seeing) is a lock; it doesn’t open for anyone. It opens only by the key of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
So, the name of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Sayyidina Mudathir, the one who shows patience in the face of all tyranny. Sabr (patience), this beatific name, because we said this is the path of Ashab ul-Kahf (Companions of the Cave). So, you follow along in your course that we started with Muharram and leaving every difficulty, making our hijrah (migration) from bad to good, moving into the cave. Oh, oh, oh, the cave then be example every type of rock going to be thrown at you. You don’t bark back. You don’t say nothing. You don’t type anything.
Your Lips Will Be Sealed and Your Hands Will Testify (Holy Qur’an, 36:65)
Now today talking is your fingers. Don’t say, ‘Oh, I’m not going to say anything, Shaykh, I’m going to be silent’ and then 20 different texts you’re sending. Your lips are now here (Shaykh mimics babbling voices while moving his fingers). Nobody talks. Nobody talks to anyone anymore. They don’t even have any social skills. Talking now is considered ‘blah blah blah blah’ (Shaykh moves his fingers rapidly). That’s why Allah (AJ) said, ‘We’re going to seal your lips and make your hands testify.
36:65 – “Al yawma nakhtimu ‘ala afwahehim wa tukallimunaa aydeehim wa tashhadu arjuluhum bima kanoo yaksiboon.” (Surat YaSeen)
“That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.” (YaSeen, 36:65)
Why Allah (AJ) didn’t know these last days were coming? ‘So, We know you guys don’t know how to talk anymore. By the end of humanity, you won’t even have probably a mouth. You don’t know what to do with it.’
Digital Communication Has Replaced Traditional Greetings
Nobody has social skills. You talk to your children. These kids look at you like they’re zombies. ‘How are you?’ (Shaykh shows the child’s reaction – as a zombie) ‘How’s everything today?’ (Shaykh shows the child’s reaction as a zombie). Nobody know how anymore ihtiram (respect) and talk. Before your parents would ‘poww.’ ‘Tell uncle hello. Give everybody good salaams.’ You were trained on how to enter into a room and give everybody greetings. So, they say, ‘Oh, this is a child from a good teaching.’
Nobody talks anymore. They’re just typing, typing, typing and they think that behind the veil of their technology, they can type whatever they want. Allah (AJ) is warning, ‘Your fingers will be talking to me.’ (Holy Qur’an, 36:65) Yawm ul-Mashr (day of gathering) – what will that look like when everybody is like in those movies, sci-fi movies? Your lips disappear and it’s just a skin here. You won’t have the ability to testify. Allah (AJ) don’t want to hear your mouth. All their fingers will appear talking, ‘He was an oppressor. You don’t know what he was doing, what he was typing.’ They’re not going to talk in our favour because they’re scared of Allah’s (AJ) judgement too. They’re going to expose everything we were typing. So, it means then they’re teaching: Mudathir, the one whom is patient through all tyranny. That this name of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the key, ‘Ya Sayyidi, Ya Rasul-e-kareem (generous Prophet), that open my heart for this sifat al-Basir to enter.’
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Reappears in Surah an-Naml
Then I understood that the 27th surah (chapter) of Qur’an will be dressing all of creation and especially my path. So, then this month will be the month in which I read Surat an-Naml. Surat an-Naml is guiding this Earth. Those whom are arifeen (knowers), it means they’re wishing to enter into this cave. They get their sustenance of the month from this holy surah (chapter).
Read every surah you want. This is good but this is very khasoosan. This is specific to our journey. We’ll go into that. That surah is our dress and our power. Surat an-Naml is the reappearance of “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” because this journey started in Surat al-Tawbah.
27:30 – “Inna Hu min Sulaymana, Wa inna Hu Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” (Surat An-Naml)
“Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, He/it is (as follows): ‘In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (The Ant, 27:30)
Be Steadfast On Your Spiritual Path
Surah Tawbah is that you’re going to come on this journey, sacrifice your badness. So, the in the middle of sacrificing you, you can’t cry out and say, ‘Be kind to me, Shaykh.’ Right? You came for zabiha (sacrifice). Can you stop the middle of the zabiha? It’s going to be very painful.
So, this not a path where you come and you wanna go, you wanna come and you go. You say, ‘No, ya Rabbi, I came to sacrifice myself.’ That’s why no “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem”. Don’t keep coming, thumma amanoo, thumma kafaroo, ‘I’m gonna come. I’m gonna go. I’m gonna come. I’m gonna go. I’m gonna come. I’m gonna go.’
4:137 – “Innal ladheena amano thumma kafaro thumma amano thumma kafaroo thumma izdado kufran lam yakuni Allahu liyaghfira lahum wa la liyahdiyahum sabeela.” (Surat An-Nisa)
“Indeed, those who have believed then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief – Allah won’t forgive them, nor will He guide them on a path/way.” (The Women, 4:137)
Have Firmness When Entering Baab at-Tawbah, the Door of Repentance
Istiqam – have firmness. Your time to stand up and fight your devil and devils. No come, no go – so they enter. You don’t know if it’s this year, maybe next year. That’s your choice or the following year is your choice. But this is the teaching and the understanding of these rijal (mature men) whom its gatekeeper is Imam Ali (as) sitting with a Zulfiqar (sword of Imam Ali (as)) and asking, ‘Come in. Enter into our Baab at-Tawbah (door of repentance).’ There’s in Madina tul-Munawwarah also and there’s Baab at-Tawbah in Mecca because you’re entering in to ask Allah’s (AJ) acceptance of repentance and maghfirah (forgiveness). “Jaooka,” that I’m running and I’m asking to forgive.
4:64 – “Wa law annahum idh zhalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfaro Allaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasolu lawajado Allaha tawwaban raheema.” (Surat An-Nisa)
“And if, when they had oppressed/wronged themselves, they had but come to you (O’ Muhammad (pbuh)], and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the messenger (pbuh), they would have found Allah Acceptor of Repentance/Forgiving, Merciful.” (The Women, 4:64)
End Your Bad Character Before Intense Punishments of the Grave
Ya Rabbi, no “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” “Bismillah Allahu Akbar,” that finish it. Finish the bad character. Begin your testing. Don’t put a little bit and then take it out, put a little bit. That will take 50 years to happen. Just finish the bad character and get it over with, ya Rabbi. I don’t want that in the grave because in the grave there’s no more time out. There’s no more coffee break. There’s no more, you know, sweat a little bit and run a little bit, come back a little bit. It’s just the qabr (grave) and you’re in it until it’s over; 70,000 times more difficult.
They know because they were in seclusion and they witnessed this ‘aazab (punishment) and they never want to see that in its full 150% feeling because it’s unimaginable. Because even in the seclusion, they can run to go take a shower, to get a break, to just stop what they’re doing. But the qabr, there is no break. It’s locked door and you’re in it after six feet of dirt onto you.
Veils of Eternal Kindness Dress Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
So, then Holy Qur’an is dressing them and blessing them, taking them into the kingdom of Allah (AJ). This hijab (veil) that was dressing eternally upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the hijab of kindness. This is based on 12 hijabs that dress eternally the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That Prophet ﷺ was dressed 10,000 of Allah’s (AJ) years under the sifat (attribute) of kindness. This muhabbat and this love and Prophet ﷺ was describing: when Allah (AJ) was dressing tajjalis, he was sweating out of shyness, his light. It means all creations were coming into existence by the nazar (gaze) of Allah (AJ) upon the light and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ because Allah (AJ) has no time.
So, this 10,000 is still continuing. There is no beginning and there is no end. When we describe 10,000 of Allah’s (AJ) years, we have no understanding what that means. They just give big numbers to say like, ‘Wow, this is very big’ because Allah’s (AJ) years can be 1000 of yours or 50,000 of your years. So, for 10,000 years, Allah (AJ) is eternally dressing the hijab of kindness upon the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The zikr (Divine remembrance) of Allah (AJ) upon this light “Subhana man huwa da’im, la yaqta”, “Subhana man huwa da’im, la yaqta.” ‘Glory be to the one whom I am perpetual and whom I never die.’
“Subhana man huwa da’im, la yaqta”
“Glory to Him who is perpetual, who never ends”
The Immensity of Prophet’s Soul ﷺ is Beyond Our Comprehension
So, it means then the people of tafakkur (contemplation) understand the immensity. Why Rabi’ul Awwal is so immensely important? What is this tajjali (manifestation) of Rabi’ul Awwal? That Allah (AJ) want you to observe because these are the lights of da’im (eternal). When Allah (AJ) is dressing the light of Prophet ﷺ from His eternal reality of da’im, “La yaqta” that ‘These realities I’m dressing upon your soul, your soul is da’im – it’s eternal.’ Your soul is “la yaqta,” that it doesn’t pass away, it doesn’t end. Its Samadi, Ahadi (The One and Only) reality is beyond human comprehension. Allah’s (AJ) Samadi tajjalis, that Allah (AJ) sustains that reality.
Its Ahadi, its immense uniqueness, Allah (AJ) sustains that reality. As a result of this immense dress, the dress of kindness and muhabbat is this tajjali for this month. Then imagine Mawlid e-Nabi ﷺ (celebration of the birth of Prophet) from just one understanding. As soon as you sit to observe it, those tajjalis are dressed upon the servant, the immensity of kindness from Allah’s (AJ) Divine presence.
Embody Patience and Good Character to Open Your Heart
Sifat al-Basir unto the heart and to the soul, the name of Prophet ﷺ that dressed them with patience and good character so that Allah (AJ) will open their heart because patience through difficulty is the key. Otherwise, just difficulty with bad character; you just a rotten person. Because every time Allah (AJ) squeeze you, you will throw a rock at somebody. But the beatific character is through difficulty, they’re sweet. They’re good people and Allah (AJ) is pleased at only the akhlaq and character.
What’s the purpose of your prayers if you don’t have good character? They pray a lot. They’re hifz (memorizing Qur’an) and they memorize a lot. They have everything but if in a situation, you become bad and angry and aggressive over and over and over, Allah (AJ) saying, ‘No, this is the character that must be corrected.’ So, as a result, they’re being dressed by these blessings. They’re entering into this holy surah (chapter) from Surat al-Naml.
Testing and Difficulties Purify Your Character
We said the journey started no “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem”, the “Bismillah Allahu Akbar.” That, ‘Ya Rabbi, I’m coming to Your gate. Take away my badness.’ You’ll see everything in this world begins to clean you, prune you, take off the branches you didn’t need, give you the sabr (patience) that you didn’t think you had. Then by Surat al-Kahf, you’re now entering into the cave and then they’re reiterating, ‘In this cave is a lion tamer. Don’t come into the cave to eat them.’ So, every type of mushkilat (difficulty) comes and comes and comes and they wanna test your character, patience, good character, good akhlaq.
Then everything that we went over in Surat al-Kahf: be from Ashab al-Kahf (people of the cave). Be patient. Have good character. Run from bad. Run from shaitan (satan). Run towards Rahman (The Beneficent). Then Allah (AJ) even gave the adab (manners) of how to accompany them with Sayyidina Khidr (as) and Nabi Musa (as) and all those examples of accompanying.
Keep Your Manners – Be Nothing at All Times
Accompany, be patient for knowledges you don’t have. Of course, you’ll become aggressive and angry because you don’t understand. Don’t talk. Don’t ever show your level of knowledge to your shaykh. They will increase the testing because it shows immense arrogance and you want to be trained that, ‘Don’t. Empty your cup. Empty your cup.’ Many times we travel, Shaykh Hisham (q) would say, ‘Talk.’ I say, ‘Abadan, no way.’ Why I’m gonna show knowledge to the one I took it from? What, you wanna impress him or you want to impress the room and thinking you know something?
This is a school of manners so keep your manners. Be nothing. Be nothing at all times, nothing. That was Surat al-Kahf. Now enter into Surat al-Naml and this is the kingdom of Allah (AJ) opening. The kingdom that it resides within the heart of His believer, ‘I’m not on heaven and I’m not on Earth.’ Good tidings for people who understood this message.
“Maa wasi`anee laa Samayee, wa la ardee, laakin wasi’anee qalbi ‘Abdee al Mu’min.”
”Neither My Heavens nor My Earth can contain Me, but the heart of my Believing Servant.” (Hadith Qudsi conveyed by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh))
Loving All Prophets is to Respect Allah’s (AJ) Kingdom
The kingdom of Allah (AJ) is not on heavens and not on Earth. It’s in the heart of His believer. It means the love of the prophets, alahim salaam is the kingdom of Allah (AJ). When you love them and respect them, you respect His kingdom. So, what you see now on television with satanic kingdom? They’re clearly identifying themselves.
They say, ‘If it’s a prophet of God, we want to curse it and say every type of bad to it’ because it’s the kingdom of shaitan (satan). Anybody from the kingdom of Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), love and respect all the prophets of Allah (AJ) for they represent the Divine kingdom on Earth because Allah (AJ) resides within all their hearts and they’re brothers, “Amanar Rasul”
“The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], ‘We make no distinction between any of His messengers…’ And they say, “We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.” (The Cow, 2:285)
All Prophets Came to Complete Allah’s (AJ) Favour Upon Us
They are brothers. There’s no difference in them because Allah (AJ) resides within their hearts. Respect of one is respect for all. That’s why the lataif (subtle points) of the qalb (heart) teaches we need all the prophets alaihis salaam. How can you reach anything if you don’t have the love for Sayyidina Isa (as)? How can you reach anything if you don’t have a love and respect for Sayyidina Adam (as)? For Sayyidina Nuh (as)? For Sayyidina Ibrahim wa Sayyidina Musa (as)? Sayyidina Isa (as) and Sayyidina Muhammadun ﷺ?
They have to come to complete Allah’s (AJ) favour upon us. So, when we enter into this kingdom, Allah (AJ) opens in this beloved month that this Mawlid (celebration of the birthday of Prophet ﷺ) and these tajjalis (manifestations) and these realities. Then Allah (AJ) starts the holy surah (chapter) “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Ta, Seen tilka ayatul qur’ani wakitabin Mubeen.”
27:1 – “Ta-seen tilka ayatul qur’ani wakitabin Mubeen.” (Surat An-Naml)
“Ta, Seen. These are the verses of the Qur’an and a clear Book.” (The Ant, 27:1)
TaSeen is the Secret of the Purified Reality
This “Ta” and this “Seen” is an immense reality. This Ta is for “At-Tahir,” the purified and perfected reality from “Sayyidina Taha,” the purified guide of Allah (AJ). Ta – he’s Tahir, purified beyond imagination. It’s so pure, it’s the haq (truth) of Allah (AJ) because any imperfection, it’s not there yet, like a diamond. If it has charcoal in it, it’s still a charcoal because you’re not gonna buy a diamond with a big black mark in the middle.
You say, ‘That’s more look like charcoal.’ Say, ‘No, no it’s a precious diamond.’ ‘Hmmm, it’s okay. It’s almost there but it has charcoal.’ The purified, when Allah (AJ) describing, ‘This has no impurity. This is pure for your understanding. This is Janab al-haqq (The Truthful One).’ This is the reflection of Allah’s (AJ)’s truth, Ta. Seen – that’s the description of the cave. This is the abode of the secret. Nurul anwar wa sirratul asrar (the light of every secret and the secret of every light). We are in search of this “seen.” Our life is to enter into the seen. YaSeen, that was the knowledge and the secrets. TaSeen is the secret of the purified reality.
Nabi Musa (as) Approached the Divine Fire Through the Door of TaSeen
That Allah (AJ) is showing us that this is the fire in which Nabi Musa (as) was entering in the valley when he approached a fire of Allah (AJ). Because the fire represents a state of purity and we’ll find ayatul kareem (generous verses of Qur’an) in this surah (chapter).
27:7 – “Iz qaala Moosaa li ahliheee inneee aanastu naaran sa’aateekum minhaa bikhabarin aw aateekum bishihaabin qabasil la’allakum tastaloon.” (Surat An-Naml)
Behold! Moses said to his family: “I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warm yourselves.” (The Ant, 27:7)
So, it starts off with Allah (AJ) saying, ‘By My purified secret.’ Where you’re entering now into this cave is above the door of this cave is TaSeen. ‘By My purified secret’ because you don’t know it’s reality but immensely pure and the sir and the secret of Ilm ul yaqeen (knowledge of certainty), Ayn ul yaqeen (vision of certainty), Haq ul-yaqeen (certainty of truth) and Nurul anwar wa sirratul asrar is translated that “the light of every secret and the secret of every light.” It means everything. That everything that has a secret is based on light and every light, it’s secret is based on this reality of Prophet ﷺ entering into this cave.
Be Like a Moth Attracted to the Flame
Then Allah (AJ) is describing that, ‘This ayah and these signs of My Qur’an you’re now entering into’; ayatul Qur’an, not verses. This again, dunya (material world) people write this. Ayatul Qur’an is the sign of Allah’s (AJ) Qur’an. Ayatumin ayatollah (AJ) is not the guy in Iran. Ayatollah are titles from Allah (AJ) that when you look at them, they are the signs of Allah (AJ) walking on this Earth; not a title that a shura (council) and majlis (association) of people get together and says, ‘You’re an ayah, you are ayatollah.’ Ayatumin ayatollah is a sign from Allah’s (AJ) titles.
‘That I grant to you when people look at you, you’re a sign of My Divinely presence.’ When Allah (AJ) describing ayatul Qur’an, that you’re entering into this cave like an immense fire. Unbelievers may see it as a fire of hell because it burns everything other than what’s from its reality. How are you gonna guard something beatific like an immense fire? That’s why Sayyidina Jalaluddin (q) said, ‘Be like a moth into the flame.’
Niyam Parwana e Aatash, ke paro baal e khud sozam
Manam Parwana e Sultan, ke bar anwar megardam
I am not a moth of the fire to burn my wings
I am a moth of the King, thus I roam in lights
You’re not getting past without walking through that fire. If you thought they’re going to give you a shower with water, no. Everybody burns and walks through it. Take your path, take your faith and walk.
Allah’s (AJ) Speech Emanates Within Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ Heart
This is not an easy path. This cave, its writing and its inscriptions is teaching to us: ‘This is my most immense secret. These are the signs “Ayatumin Qur’an.” These are the signs of My Divinely speech is emanating now from this Manzil ul Qur’an (heart of Qur’an), this cave.’ You understanding Ayatumin Qur’an? This is the cave of Prophet’s ﷺ heart, the location which Allah (AJ) is speaking, holy Qur’an is emanating. This Manzil ul-Qur’an. What are we taking about? We’re not talking about a mountain somewhere. We’re talking into the light of Prophet’s ﷺ heart which is Manzil ul-Qur’an.
What Allah (AJ) is describing is that ‘What you’re looking at on this cave, TaSeen, this is My most immense and purified sir and secret. This is ayatul Qur’an and this janab, this individual soul, he’s kitab ul-mubeen. He is My book, My clear book (Holy Qur’an, 27:1).’ Did you think there’s a printed copy somewhere? KitabAllah (book of Allah (AJ)) is Prophet ﷺ. There is no printing shop up there. You think it’s on a paper somewhere? That is there a paper that can contain Allah’s (AJ) speech? Because Allah (AJ) says, ‘If I put it on the mountain, khashiya (obliterated/ dust).’
59:21 – “Law anzalna hadha alQurana ‘ala jabalin laraaytahu, khashi’an mutasaddi’an min khashyatillahi, wa tilkal amthalu nadribuha linnasi la’allahum yatafakkaroon.” (Surat Al-Hashr)
“Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, verily, you would have seen it obliterated to dust (from its power) And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will Contemplate…” (The Exile, 59:21)
Only Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Can Contain Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Speech
So, where is that speech? Where is that? Is there paper that can contain the reality of Allah’s (AJ) speech? Didn’t Allah (AJ) describe My kitab in other verses? ‘If I send my tajjali to the mountain, it will be dust,’ but Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ firm. So, the only one whom can contain the Divinely speech is the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That’s why then Allah (AJ) describing for the believers as you’re entering in now into this Surat al-Naml is that this is an immense purified secret.
This is the fire of the Divinely presence, the center of all realities from which every reality of holy Qur’an is emanating. What we’re going to find from these immense ayahs of Holy Qur’an? Allah (AJ) going to bestow upon us in this month, in this cave “Wa innahua Sulaiman wa innahua, wa innahua Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” “Wa innahua” and he’s “hua Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” He is Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.
27:30 – “Innahu min Sulaiman wa innahu Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” (Surat An-Naml)
“Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it reads: ‘In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.” (The Ant, 27:30)
Enter the Divine Fire to Uncover the Secret of Creation
“Innhua Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” So, slaughtered, you’re nothing. No head into this reality. You’re entering into the fire and Allah (AJ) going to dress the believers in this holy month with the immense lights of “Innahu bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” ‘That I’m now going to show you that what I created and I was wanting, hidden treasure wanting to be known. I was known by Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.’ It’s actually a question: in what name of Allah (AJ) everything was created?
“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” Hadith Qudsi
Allah (AJ) said, “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.”
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
