The Holy Face Dresses us with Divinely Attributes in Salah
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ. Immense support and all the sharing and the links and everybody trying to do their best and alhamdulillah.
The Holy Face of Prophet ﷺ Faces Us Five Times Daily
Tonight’s talk inshaAllah, is very important and people to meditate and our guys to to produce a nice video that Allah (AJ) gives us five times a day an opportunity to see Prophet ﷺ. I don’t really think we understand the immensity of the gift of salah (daily prayers). Anyone wishing to see Prophet ﷺ, have a dream of Prophet ﷺ, Allah’s (AJ) giving that opportunity in each salah. Five times a day, Prophet’s ﷺ face is facing us. An open and a mercy and a rahmah to his nation and loving his nation like the father over all souls – Abu Arwah.
So an immense, immense blessing, immense opening from awliyaullah and that people whom hear it, they experience it. Anyone hearing these talks, they should be experiencing the talk. That the holy face of Prophet ﷺ open for them to witness that reality, to be blessed and to be dressed by that reality. So no need for anyone to email that they want an awrad (daily practice) to recite so that they can see Prophet ﷺ. Allah (AJ) gave us already the salah five times a day. “As salaamu ‘alayka ayyuhan Nabi” (peace and blessings be upon you, O’ Prophet ﷺ) and connect your heart. After your salah that you connect your heart and see yourself in the presence of Prophet ﷺ and open your heart and open your tears and alhamdulillah. InshaAllah, Allah (AJ) make everything to be easier and immensely more powerful. Hidden treasure wanting to be known, alhamdulillah.
Question : Sayyidi can you share with us the different levels and sensations of worship?
Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: Different levels and different sensations of worshipness. It’s too specific but I think the talk already described whatever you were trying to ask. That’s what we say that what people have in their hearts of understandings or wanting to understand or the expansion of an understanding.
Difference between Qibla of the Body and Qibla of the Heart
Tonight’s talk was immensely expansive. Took your worshipness to a completely different level. Means there’s a qibla (direction of prayer) for your body. So you come new to Islam and there’s a direction in which to face your body and that body faces Makkah al Mukkarramah – the honored and holy house of Allah (AJ) in Makkah, that is the symbol of Oneness. So that it calibrates us, ‘Stop the many, stop yourself,’ because the many-ness of gods is people’s nafs (ego). They worship themselves and their own desires and they become many gods, they have the god of smoking, the god of drinking, the god of business and money and desires. So the first qibla is drop all those and direct yourself to the Ka’bah.
Then as they progress there’s a qibla within their heart. Then the reality goes deeper and deeper into that ocean of reality and to the presence of where they’re praying. So means then when their heart begins to open, the qibla of their heart is in Madina. So first you came you directed your your body to the Oneness and that drop everything and come to the Oneness. That Oneness begins to teach us La ilaha illAllah, is teaching us. Okay I am accepting that you are understanding Oneness and this yearning and this love that you have, your heart is the ocean of where faith has to come. So then what was faith? Was to love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself.
Wa ‘an ‘Umar (as) qala: “Fawajadtu nafsi aqoolo: Wallahi ya Rasulullahi, inni uhibbuka!
Faqala lahu anNabiyu ﷺ: “Akthara min ahlika ya ‘Umar?” Qultu: Na’am. Qala ﷺ: “Akthara min malika ya ‘Umar?”, Qultu: Na’am. Qala ﷺ: “Akthara min nafsika ya ‘Umar?”, Qala: La.
Faqala anNabiyu ﷺ: “La ya ‘Umar, la yakmulu imanoka hatta akuna ahabba ilayka min nafsika.”
Yaqoolo ‘Umar (as): Fakhrajtu fafakkartu. [Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Majladu al-Rabi’o, raqm al-hadith 594]
Narrated by Sayyidina ‘Umar (pbuh) that he said: “I found myself saying, ‘By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I love you!’ The Prophet (pbuh) said to him, ‘Is it more than your love for your family, O ‘Umar?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He (pbuh) said, ‘Is it more than your love for your wealth, O ‘Umar?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Is it more than your love for yourself, O ‘Umar?’ He said, ‘No.’
The Prophet (pbuh), said, ‘No, O ‘Umar, your faith will not be complete until I become more beloved to you than your own self.’ ‘Umar said: So I went out and thought. Then I returned and shouted, ‘By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, you are more beloved to me than myself.’ The Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘Now, O ‘Umar, now [you got it].’ [Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Hadith #594]
So that means your heart has to be filled with Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. So means the heart is then facing Madinatul Munawara (Luminous city of Prophet ﷺ). So they pray with their body directed towards Ka’bah but their heart is with Prophet ﷺ. As they begin to progress and know that my heart is always with Prophet ﷺ, then they become to understand Maqamul Ihsan (station of moral excellence), ‘Pray as if you see him and if you don’t see him, he sees you.’ Well that was tonight.
‘An Abi Hurrairah (ra): (Jibreel (as)) Qala: “Fa akhberni ‘an al Ihsan.”
Qala ﷺ: “An Ta’bud Allaha, Ka annaka tarahu, fa in lam takun tarahu fa innahu yarak.” [Sahih Bukhari 50]
Narrated by Abi Hurrairah: (Archangel Gabriel (as)) said, “Now, tell me about Ihsan (Spiritual Excellence).”
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) replied, “It is to worship/serve Allah (AJ) as though you behold/see Him; and if you don’t behold/see Him, (know that) He surely Sees you.” [Source: Authentic by Bukhari 50]
Means that your soul is facing Wajhi hil Karim (Holy face of the Most Generous). When your soul’s prayer begins to open and the words of what you’re reciting, you hear. They have ears but they don’t hear. When you hear, you placed your body in tawheed (Oneness), you put your heart in the love and ishq of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, then your soul is teaching you, ‘These words we’re reciting, we’re in the presence of a holy face that looks at us continuously, that dresses us continuously.’
Ayatul Kursi is About the Holy Face of Prophet ﷺ
From Ayatul Kursi (Verse of the Throne) when you recite Ayatul Kursi, ‘Neither sleep nor slumber overtakes him.’ But we’re not talking about Allah (AJ). Allah’s (AJ) not in creation. Allah’s (AJ) not in a chair. Allah (AJ) doesn’t sit on a chair and these are ridiculous things for people to think. “Allahu la ilaha illa Hu” that is out. Means that that is for Allah (AJ) but the rest of Ayatul Kursi now begins to describe this holy face and the power of that face and what the face represents of a chair, of a throne.
2:255 – “Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwal Hayyul Qaiyoom; laa taakhuzuhu sinatunw wa laa nawm;…” (Surat Al Baqarah)
Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep… (The Cow, 2:255)
Imam ‘Ali (as) Described the Reality of Prophet (s) to Owais al Qarani (as)
So Imam Ali (as) when they were talking with Sayyidina Owais al Qarani (as). [Owais (as) asked:] ‘Have you ever seen Prophet ﷺ?’ It’s long dialogue and they were debating, [Sayyidina ‘Umar (as) said:] ‘What do you mean have we ever seen? We’ve seen.’ Imam ‘Ali (as) said, ‘No I think Ya Sayyidina ‘Umar (as) that Owais al Qarani (as) is asking us something else. He [Imam Ali (as)] said one time I lifted Prophet ﷺ and I saw all the universes within his reality, from seven heavens to the seven earths. Then from the neck up…’ Imam ‘Ali (as) stopped. He said, ‘From the neck up was from ‘Arsh ar Rahman (Throne of the Most Compassionate).’
The Divinely throne is related to the face. The chair has seven points as does the face. Four legs, two arms and the seat of the chair like the tongue like a laam. So the four points that hold the kursi and the two points are the arm rests, and then the seat is like a tongue like a laam. Means that Divine throne is Wajhi hil Karim – is the Divinely Face. And Allah (AJ) has us in our salah as a gift to the nation and to all creation, “Assalamu ‘alayka ayyuhan-Nabi ﷺ” [pic 1]
“Attahiyatu Lillahi wa salawatu wat tayyibatu. Assalamu ‘alayka ayyuhan Nabiyu ﷺ, wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. …”
“All the best compliments and the prayers/praising and the pure/good things are for Allah. Peace and Blessings be upon you, O’ Prophet ﷺ! …”
Everything Perishes Except the Holy Face
Means this Wajhi hil Karim – this generous face, the face that never perishes. “Kullu shayin halikun illa wajha”.
28:88 – “…kullu shayin halikun illa wajha” (Surat Al-Qasas)
“…Everything (that exists) will perish except His holy Face…” (The Stories, 28:88)
What we say after Surat Al YaSeen in Fajr because this is from Sultanul Awliya. This Fajr awrad,, when you recite the Fajr awrad, it’s a journey to the face of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Every name and attribute and every recitation is for the soul of what he is reciting, as he’s witnessing his soul in the presence of that Divinely Face. From all its realities and at the end of Surat Al YaSeen from all of its Divinely dresses and then stating that, ‘All things perish, everything will perish but the holy face,’ and that’s all that they seek.
Ask for Nazar of Prophet ﷺ , His Holy Face Dresses us with Nur ul Hay
They (saints) feed you for the sake of that face not from the compensation of people. They do everything for the sake of that face. To be dressed by the face, to be under the love and the nazar of that face.
“And they feed, for the love of Allah, the needy/indigent, the orphan, and the captive. (8) (Saying),”We feed you for the Holy Face of the Divine/sake of Divine alone: We wish not from you reward or gratitude.” (Holy Quran, the Human 76:8-9)
That’s why Allah (AJ) gave, ‘Don’t ask Prophet ﷺ to listen to you.’ Ishfa’lana, unzur halana (intercede for us and gaze upon our condition) but that let his divinely face be directed to you. His ears are for Allah (AJ). His eyes are for his nation. Because his ears are created to hear Allah (AJ), Sami’, Al Basir (Hearing and All Seeing). Prophet’s ﷺ ears are Sami’, Al Basir. Controlling hearing and Divinely seeing through the faculty of hearing only for Allah (AJ).
2:104 – “Yaa ayyuhal ladheena aamano, laa taqolo ra’yina wa qolu unzurna wasma’o…” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“O you who believe! Do not say (to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) ra’yena, listen to us, and say Unzurna (gaze upon us) and you listen (to him (pbuh)…” (The Cow, 2:104)
From the
eyes Nur (Light) Aul Hay (Ever Living). So that when we say, ‘Unzur halana wa ishfa’lana’ (gaze upon my condition and intercede for me) and at your salah when he’s looking, Nur Aul Hay is coming on to the servants and souls. All salah, all salah, they know it they don’t know it Allah (AJ) doesn’t care. Allah’s (AJ) gift to creation is this holy face. As soon as they pray, this Nur ul Hay is dressing – from Prophet’s ﷺ light and (right) eye dresses them with nur, when they make their salah. The other (left) eye of Prophet’s ﷺ soul is dressing them from Bahrul Hayat (ocean of ever-living) and reviving their souls, giving their souls their eternity station.
Prophet ﷺ Grants Sweetness to the Tongue that Praises Him
Through his Divinely tongue he’s giving ‘alam and ‘ilm (knowledge). When he looks at the servant from his tongue, a light comes to their mouth. And Allah (AJ) dresses them with sifat al ‘Alim (attribute of The All Knowing). That’s why Imam ‘Ali (as) asked that, ‘Grant me from your saliva a sweetness onto my tongue.’ How to make your tongue sweet in life is with the praisings and salawat upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. All awliyaullah say, ‘Make your tongue sweet with your salawat (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and durood sharif (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ).’ Why? Because this is sifat al ‘Alim. That if Prophet ﷺ gave, he gives from his saliva onto the tongue and as a result it makes their mouth and their tongue to be from eternity and sweet in the love and the ishq of Allah (AJ). That’s the immense reality of the tongue of Prophet ﷺ. How we gain that tongue, Allah (AJ) gave in our salah. How we get the dress of that tongue is lots of durood sharif. “Allahumma sali wa salim wa barik, ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala ‘ali Sayyidina Muhammad.”
Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon Muhammad (pbuh) and upon the Family of Muhammad (pbuh)”
The Muhammadan light is dressing that tongue. Like the coolness of the oceans of Kawthar (The fountain of abundance) begin to dress the servant’s saliva. Their saliva then becomes a shifa and a healing. That’s why the saliva of a mu’min (believer) is a healing not a mu’min that goes to a masjid and says he’s a mu’min. He didn’t even become Muslim. The only way to become Muslim was that they had the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Then they became mu’min when they were granted nurul iman (light of faith) means they love Prophet ﷺ more than they love themselves. So of course then the saliva of a Muhammadan is a shifa and a healing. Then that same tongue is the inheritance of an ‘aalim.
Prophet (s) Empowers the Breath of a Mumin which is the Fuel of Their Soul
Then the holy nostrils of Prophet ﷺ is Bahrul Qudra (Ocean of Power). That the face of Prophet ﷺ begin to dress their nostrils and their breath. That every time they breathe, Al Qadir (All Powerful) is dressing onto their soul. ‘Alim (dressing the tongue), Qadir (dressing the nostrils). That breath of Prophet ﷺ is dressing them from oceans of power. That’s why when they’re meditating and breathing from the reality of Prophet ﷺ, he’s igniting with their breath the power of their soul. Their soul’s fuel is in their breath. How somebody can smoke and destroy the breath the Prophet ﷺ gave to them. So then they understood that every time they’re breathing, Prophet ﷺ is dressing them from oceans of qadir. And they begin to ignite the reality and the power of their soul.
Be of Service to Gain the Powerful Nazar of Prophet ﷺ
And Allah (AJ) gave to us five salah, five times a day to make that connection. Maqamul Ihsan. We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us from the reality of this holy face ﷺ . Then grant from us the sweetness of that reality and that that nazar of Prophet ﷺ always to be upon us. That nazar comes from khidmat (service). If we understood tonight the immensity of what Allah (AJ) is giving to us and if you wanted to unlock that immensity, khidmat. Serve your shaykh, serve the way, serve the poor, serve with your entire being. “Qul inna salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati lillahi Rabbil ‘Aalamin.” That with my life, with my wealth, with my family, with everything in the way of Rahmatal lil’alameen.” So that to be under that nazar and that that Divinely beatific face begins to dress us. And “Assalamu ‘alayka ayyuhan Nabi” and Prophet ﷺ, “Walaykum as salaam” and that dress dressing us and blessing us, inshaAllah.
6:162: “Qul inna salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati lillahi Rabbil ‘Aalamin.″( Surah al An’am)
Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my services of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (Holy Quran 6:162-163)”
Subhana rabbikarabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahirabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
