The Gate of Truthfulness and How It Leads to the Presence of Sultanan Naseera?
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.
A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was salaatu was salaamu ‘alaa Ashrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence.
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾ …
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Surah (Chapter) 17 Verse 80
Always a reminder for myself ana abdukal ‘ajeezu, dayeefu, miskinu, zhalim wa jahl and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence. Alhamdulillah that the ‘urs mubarak (holy anniversary of passing) of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) – the holy companion of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and the gate of truthfulness; Maka’as Siddiq wa Baab e Siddiq (the Door of Truthful) and the immense personality and the reality. That Allah (AJ) dresses these holy souls, the ancient reality of their soul what it represents and how to reach to these immense openings. InshaAllah we’ll recite from surah 17 – Surat Al-Isra, verse 80. This is a holy surah for Isra (Night Journey) and the movement towards that Divinely Presence, towards the heart and the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, inshaAllah. Hajji Shahid [Sahykh asks audience to recite].
Reciter: “A’uzu Billahi Minash shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Wa qul Rabbi adkhelni mudkhala Sidqin wa akhrejni mukhraja Sidqin waj’al li min ladunka Sultanan NaSeera”. SadaqAllahul ‘aliyyul ‘azim.
17:80 – “Wa qul Rabbi adkhelni mudkhala Sidqin wa akhrejni mukhraja Sidqin waj’al li min ladunka Sultanan NaSeera.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“Say: O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honour, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honour; and grant me from Your Presence a Victorious King to aid (me).” (The Night Journey, 17:80)
Who is Sultanan Naseera (Victorious King)?
SadaqAllahul ‘Azim wa barakat Rasulul Kareem (The Most Generous Messenger) ya Habibul ‘Azim (The Magnificent Beloved) fi barakat Qur’anil Majeed. Allah (AJ) giving us from the realities of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) that Allah (AJ) is giving in ayatul kareem (the generous verse of Holy Qur’an), ‘And say O’ my Lord cause me to enter through this gate of truth and honour – siddiqeen (truthful)’ because we’ll go into what is siddiqeen. ‘And let my departure be from this gate – Maka’as Siddiqeen of truth and honour and grant me the presence of Your authorized sultan (king) – Sultanan Naseera.’ That anytime we see ‘Sultanan Naseera’ and traditional Ahlus Sunnah (People of Prophetic Tradition) masjids would have it written ‘Sultanan Naseera’ means this is the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
If You Want to Reach the Presence of Sultanan Naseera You’ve to Go Through the Gate of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as)
That Allah (AJ) want for us of these realities that make this du’a (supplication) that, ‘In our lives Ya Rabbi grant me an entry through the gate of truthfulness and honour to the presence of Sultanan Naseera. Make my departure from this dunya (material world), from my body,’ because it’s going to be entering into Divinely Presence and leaving this body, this dunya and its reality and all of it is in the presence to reach Sultanan Naseera – into the presence and reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The reason that Allah (AJ) chose Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) [Shaykh emphasises on Siddiq] so it doesn’t make it so difficult for people to think what the destined gate has eternally been. That if you want to reach the presence of Sultanan Naseera you have to go through this gate of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as). That this is a pre-destiny, an ancient reality of what Allah (AJ) has given.
Why Naqshbandiya tul ‘Aliya (The Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Order) is the Soul of All Tariqahs (Spiritual Paths)?
The Qur’an is filled with the reality of the Holy Companions and Ahlul Bayt (Holy Family of Prophet ﷺ), all of it the realities of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and nations and prophets (as) and their communities. It means it’s filled with ancient realities. That when Allah (AJ) advising us that, ‘Let me enter through this Siddiqiya (truthful) way,’ and that Naqshbandiya tul ‘Aliya we said is the soul of all tariqahs because it holds that secret of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as). All other tariqahs they exist within Naqshbandiya tul ‘Aliya. That this Maka’as Siddiq – this gate of Siddiq (truthful) is Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) and the first khalifa (representative) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and is the gate towards the way of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
The Secret of Siddiqiya Reality is the Secret of Love and Muhabbat
That he comes into our lives and begins to teach that one of the realities when we talk about truth and honour to inherit from Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) – Siddiq al-Mutlaq (the absolute truthful) means the highest realities of truthfulness is a title Allah (AJ) gave to Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as). ‘Mutlaq’ means don’t ever question it, don’t ever think anything from it, it is the highest truthfulness and honourable station that can be achieved by mankind. This title that Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) carries from Prophet ﷺ is the immensity of the realities of the dress of truthfulness and honour. In our meditations and contemplations and in this way of haqqaiq (realities) they come and teach that the secret of this Siddiqiya reality is the secret of love and muhabbat.
Because many will think that the way of truthfulness is, ‘I won’t tell a lie,’ but yet everybody lies. The lies are part of everyday life. That children ask you something inappropriate and you make a white lie to cover it. The truthfulness that counts for Allah (AJ) and that Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) comes to give to anyone approaching his gate is – be truthful to love. Your whole way is going to be based on your truthfulness and your loyalty and honour. Your honour and your truthfulness is to love and muhabbat. One whom has no honour and no truth means he was not truthful to his ishq and to his love and that your love and your honour is governed by that reality.
So means that, that is such an immense key because people think that they want to gain truthfulness with their salah (daily prayer), they want to gain truthfulness by talking harshly, say, ‘But I was truthful.’ That is nothing to do with this station. The most difficult station is the truthfulness to love which grants you honour. Now we come and think that what Allah (AJ), and look at our whole lives in this religion that no matter what difficulties came to these servants, they stayed true to Allah (AJ) because from “Atiullah atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum.”
أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾ …
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)
“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Your Loyalty, Your Bay’ah (Pledge of Allegiance), Your Honour is to Your Love
That every difficulty that comes to the servant, what Allah (AJ) wants from them? If a difficulty comes and it crushes the servant and the servant decides to walk away from Allah (AJ), what was the benefit of the truthfulness that they thought they had? ‘Oh I didn’t lie, I was truthful in my salah, I was truthful in this, I was truthful in that.’ All of that has no value. What Allah (AJ) is looking for is that, ‘Do you truly love Me? If I squeeze you and crush you in life will you still love Me? Because it’s easy to love Me when you get the job, when you get what you want, everything opened the way you wanted it to open, that’s easy to love.’ What Allah (AJ) wants because for most high the shaykhs must be teaching and the holy companions teaching, Ahlul Bayt teaching, Prophet ﷺ teaching and the exemplar of that reality that what Allah (AJ) wants from us is – be true. Your loyalty, your bay’ah your honour is to your love.
The man who has no truth in his love, has no honour in his existence, he’s not true to his love. When he says he loves Allah (AJ) no matter what Allah (AJ) puts him through of destiny good or bad, his heart doesn’t waver in his ishq and love. He may not understand it and he prays for Allah (AJ) to give him the patience, his physicality may not be able to endure it but in their heart they’re continuously praying, ‘Ya Rabbi my heart is keeping true to my love for You, grant me sabr – grant me patience, grant me the ability to carry what I need to carry.’
Station of “Sam’ina Wa Ata’na” – ‘We Heard and We Obey’
If the servant understood at the most high level then imagine then how the holy companions were tested with their love for Allah (AJ) and Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. It means no matter what they brought to Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) he was truthful in his loyalty and love to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So he is the one whom said, “Sam’ina wa ata’na” – ‘What we heard, we obey.’
(Surat Al-Baqarah)
“…We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys.” (The Cow, 2:285)
Because they would come and say that, ‘Prophet ﷺ said such and such, what do you say ya Siddiq (as)?’ He said, ‘If Prophet ﷺ said it, it’s on our head.’ It means continuous testing in life that he instils within our hearts is that we were loyal completely to the love of Prophet ﷺ. We stood that loyalty, that love and that ishq of Prophet ﷺ was everything. We stood by it, we affirmed it, we fought for it, we were vigilant over it. As a result, they became the immense realities of ‘ashiqeen and the lovers of the Divine reality. That’s what created for them this title of truthfulness.
The Heart of a Siddiq Doesn’t Leave What They Love
So means what could be higher than they were truthful, they were Siddiq in their love for Allah (AJ) and they didn’t waver left and right to it. They were Siddiq and they were truthful in their love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Imagine they went for battle, for trade and then the next day it became a battle for life and property for their life and survival. Every test that they occurred and went through with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, their allegiance was to that ishq and to that love. That’s what is so important in our lives to understand. What people try to understand of truthfulness and what they think of truthfulness, very few understand the reality of truthfulness. The truthfulness is true to the love that we have and that the servants whom are true in their ishq (love) they stand by their ishq.
It means no matter how Allah (AJ) test them, how they’re insulted and humiliated and brought down by all those whom they love, all that that they believed in, everything that they endured who became the Siddiq from amongst those is whom heart didn’t leave what they loved. That’s why Allah (AJ) has so much emtehan (testing), that’s why there’s so much testing in life. It is you have to be truthful to love because the opposite of it is the key towards the abode of difficulty.
Who is A Munafiq (Hypocrite)?
The one whom says they love but as soon as they become angered, they hate you. It was what Prophet ﷺ described was a munafiq (hypocrite) and he said, ‘Be careful for munafiqeen.’ Not they promise and they break at – that’s given, everybody promises and breaks it. But the one characteristic that Prophet ﷺ warned is that the munafiq claims to love you but as soon as they become angered by you, they hate you. It means that true love and this Siddiqiya way, love never can go towards hate. If love was true, love was sincere, love was pure, it never goes towards hate. It can go to many different categories but it never goes to hate. It can go towards disappointment, it can go towards sadness, it can go towards anything.
The Real and Most Important Truth is Ishq and Muhabbat (Love)
But this love we’re saying in the way of Allah (AJ) not talking about dunya people and dunya things. This love for Allah (AJ), love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, love for the turuq (spiritual paths) and the way and the siddiqeen and the ‘ashiqeen and all the awliyaullah (saints) fis samayi wa fil ard (in the heavens and on earth). Whatever happens in life, that love will be tested because that’s what Allah (AJ) is looking for. By talking about this tonight they’re giving us a secret in this reality. Allah (AJ) is not only testing you in your salah and testing you at work, you’re going to be truthful with your tongue, oh these are all the minor truths. The real truth, the most important truth is ishq and muhabbat.
That which you love Allah (AJ) wants to test, ‘Are you truthful with that love?’ Because the one who is not truthful in their love to the lower associations, what Allah (AJ) wants from them from the higher associations? Nothing. What Allah (AJ) wants with them? But the one whom in the association on Earth is loyal and has honour that no matter what happens they keep their love, they keep their manner, they keep their kholoq (character), they don’t say bad, they don’t think bad. The one whom they love they never talk bad against it and about it. They kept to the best of their ability the truthfulness of that love, that becomes then the inheritors of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) in which he gives to our heart that be true and loyal to your ishq and to your muhabbat. For the sake of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ keep your love. Your whole life will be testing through it, testing through it. This world is meant to destroy that.
A Siddiq is Always Truthful in His Actions and Deeds
Every lesser truthful person is not the value of the one whom kept the way of ishq, the way of muhabbat and kept loyal and truthful to that. That one has a station of honour in which Allah (AJ) call them ‘sadiq’ (truthful). In which they’re truthful in their actions and in their deeds, and which action and which deed? It is the deed and the action of muhabbat and love. That’s the most difficult. That the immensity of that reality and that station that Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) represents and dresses for the turuqs that – come to this way and learn akhlaaq (character). Come to this way and learn the manners and the way of this reality and its based all on this muhabbat.
One Whom is Truthful to Their Love is Truthful to Everything
The one whom has love has been granted a gift from Allah (AJ) and the one who stands by their love with their truthfulness and with their honour then has a honour in Allah’s (AJ) Presence. Then Allah (AJ) grant them the Siddiqiya characteristics. One whom is truthful to their love is truthful to everything. One whom is not truthful in their love is truthful to nothing because everything else can be fake. They can be praying and people still see them to be praying. They can be paying and people say they see them to be paying. They can be doing many things but they’re not truthful to their love, they’re not truthful to where their faith and love abides within the heart. If that heart is not truthful, if the heart has no honour, if the heart doesn’t keep the way of Allah (AJ) and the way of sincerity what Allah (AJ) want to do with the limbs and the feet and the hands of the person?
That’s why Prophet ﷺ described, ‘If one part of you is good, all of you is good. But if that one part of you is bad, all of you is bad.’ It means what? It is the qalb (heart).
‘An An Nu’man bin Bashir (ra) qala: sami’tu Rasulullahi ﷺ yaqulo: “Ala wa inna fil jasadi mudghatan izaa salahat salahal jasado kulluhu, wa izaa fasadat fasadal jasadu kulluhu, ala wa heyal Qalb.” [Sahih Al Bukhari, Kitab 2, Hadith 45]
An Nu’man bin Bashir (ra) said that I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saying: “There is a piece of flesh in the body, if it corrected/perfected the whole body becomes good. But if it gets spoiled, the whole body gets spoiled, and that is the heart.” [Ṣahih al Bukhari 52, Book 2, Hadith 45]
The heart is the abode of ishq and muhabbat and the Siddiqiya – this truthful character is not only their truthful hands and that their feet are truthful, their tongue is truthful, their face is truthful. Because Prophet ﷺ is describing, ‘No, no look to see if the heart is truthful for if that one organ is truthful, the one heart that’s truthful and truthful in their love and their muhabbat and their love has been continuously tested, continuously tested, all of them is truthful.’ But if their heart is not truthful, their hands you don’t have to even look to see if their hands are truthful, their lips are truthful, their feet are truthful.
Something from Love Should Never Enter into the Category of Hate
So means that’s very deep understanding of that Hadith in which Prophet ﷺ is directing us – look to the heart. If that heart is good, all of that person good. If that heart is bad, all of that person is bad. The great Siddiq (as) is inspiring that the true characteristic of truthfulness is then truthful to their love and that whatever Allah (AJ) is testing them, they try their best to stay to true to that love and to that ishq, to keep the honour and the dignity of muhabbat and ishq. That they never turn something they loved into an ocean of hate because hate, you destroy. Things you hate, you destroy. Never something from love should enter into the category of hate.
That’s what the truthful servants of Allah (AJ), no matter how they tested, they kept true to their love for Allah (AJ). Whatever they endured upon this Earth, they kept true to their love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and whatever they endure from the realities, they kept true to the love of the Holy Companions and love of Ahlul Bayt. As a result, Allah (AJ) granted them to be in the presence of awliyaullah and under the testing and difficulties of life, they try to keep loyal to the love of awliyaullah fis samayi wa fil ard. Allah (AJ) will test on all of those planes and that’s the test that counts. The one whom loses their honour and their loyalty means they lost the truthfulness of their ishq and muhabbat.
Our Life is to Enter into Maka’as Siddiq
We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us from the siddiqiya reality and that our life is to enter this Maka’as Siddiq. The one whom has the love for Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) when they sit and they meditate, they entered into Naqshbandiya tul ‘Aliya – it is the tariqah of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as). It’s the way of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) that gives to them that you do your meditation, do your practices and be loyal to your love. You’re loyal and when someone is loyal to that love, that is the dress of honour. Because Allah (AJ) gives a dress of honour, not somebody think themself to be honourable. The dress that Allah (AJ) gives to the servant is the dress of the servant whom is loyal to their love and that their love is true within their wujud (existence) and within their being.
We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us and bless us from the immensities of the realities of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) in this month of qamar, this month of the full moon, this month of immense lights and immense realities to be dressed by its understandings, blessed by its understandings, inshaAllah. Holy companions play an immense role. That’s a timeless reality. That if they speak something people will come and say, ‘How do you have proof of that?’ So there are realities that they inspire and that their reality is not relevant to time and space. That at every nation had the support of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and this is a reality that the prophecy and the only sultan is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Every risalat – every prophecy was a prophecy within the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. So never was a nation left behind without the support of the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Who was The ‘Asaa (Cane) of Sayyidina Musa (as)?
One of the realities of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) which may make people to be like, ‘What!?’ It is that he was the ‘asaa of Sayyidina Musa (as). That the immense reality of these Sahabi (Holy Companions of Prophet ﷺ) and what role they play throughout the history of Allah’s (AJ) creation something that can’t be understood. That when Nabi Musa (as) carried an ‘asaa means we taught that he was given the sunnah (traditions) of Prophet ﷺ and every sunnah of Prophet ﷺ carries a reality of the Holy companions. Because he’s actually giving them one of his companions to give their support to that nation. As a result, they bear witness to that nation.
Sayyidina Musa’s (as) ‘asaa has a deep reality in the reality of who Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) is and what Prophet ﷺ gave for Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) to support the nation of Sayyidina Musa (as). That when Allah (AJ) asked that, ‘What is in your right hand ya Musa (as)?’ What we have Hajji Shahid? [Shaykh asks the audience]. Let’s go to I think it’s Surah Taha, surah 20, [verse] 17 to 20.
Reciter: A’uzu Billahi Minash shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Wa maa tilka bi yamee nika yaa Moosaa. Qaala hiya ‘asaaya atawakka’u alaihaa wa ahushshu bihaa ‘alaa ghanamee wa liya feehaa ma aaribu ukhraa. Qaala alqihaa yaa Moosaa. Fa alqaahaa fa izaa hiya haiyatun tas’aa”. SadaqAllahul ‘aliyyul ‘azim.
20:17-20 – “Wa maa tilka bi yamee nika yaa Moosaa (17) Qaala hiya ‘asaaya atawakka’u alaihaa wa ahushshu bihaa ‘alaa ghanamee wa liya feehaa ma aaribu ukhraa (18) Qaala alqihaa yaa Moosaa (19) Fa-alqaahaa fa -izaa hiya haiyatun tas’aa (20)”. (Surat Al Taha)
“And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?” (17) He said, “It is my staff/cane: I lean upon it; and I bring down leaves for my sheep; and I have therein other uses.” (18) (Allah (AJ) said, “Throw it down, O Moses!” (19) He threw it down, and behold! It was a dragon, moving swiftly. (Ta Ha, 20:17-20)
SadaqAllahul ‘Azim wa barakat Rasulul Kareem. From the realities of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, when Allah (AJ) asking, ‘Ya Sayyidina Musa (as) what is in your right hand?’ That he said, ‘It’s my staff that I lean upon it,’ now is a description of the holy companion’s support to the nation of Sayyidina Musa (as). This is from the heart of awliya. So people will say, ‘Where is this and this?’ This is just a side gift for the heart and lovers of ‘ashiqeen that Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) inshaAllah sent by Prophet ﷺ. Then now the description of that reality that Sayyidina Musa (as) is embodied by that power that’s given to him from the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, ‘It’s my staff that I lean upon it and I bring down sustenance for my herd.’ So it has a rizq (sustenance) and has a support, that, ‘It’s a support. He’s a support for me that hold me up and keep me firm. Then I use it to bring a sustenance to my herd.’ Because every Prophet (as) is a shepherd for his community. ‘And I have many other uses for it.’
The Immense Reality of Holy Companions is Everywhere
Then Allah (AJ) asked, ‘Throw it down ya Musa (as),’ so that we can see the power of this ‘asaa that’s been given to you. ‘He threw it down where upon it became a dragon moving swiftly.’ “Haiyatun.” It became “haiyatun.” So this immense reality that the holy companions they’re everywhere and this reality of light that can’t be understood. That when Prophet ﷺ wants to send a support, it is not an empty support. That it is by means of something, something much greater is behind it supporting. So means that a piece of wood [Shaykh holds up ‘asaa] something that looks okay it’s not look like a big deal but it’s not that. It’s that if the madad and support, Sahebul Imdad and those whom supporting is supporting you, ‘We support you with a mighty support.’
(٣) وَيَنصُرَكَ اللَّـهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيزًا
48:3 – “Wa yansurakAllahu nasran ‘aziza.” (Surat Al-Fath)
“And [that] Allah may help you with a mighty victory.” (The Victory, 48:3)
Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) – A Powerful Dragon Against the Magics of Fir’aun (Pharaoh)
One of those realities of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) is, ‘I was the ‘asaa of Nabi Musa (as) in which I was sent to support him and I was sent to bring sustenance and guidance to his community and many other.’ The powerful dragon to come against the magics of Fir’aun. That same Siddiq al-Mutlaq also in a cave did something similar for Prophet ﷺ.
Be Truthful with Your Love Towards Divine Servants and Divinely Presence will Grant You the Honour
That when he went to the cave and was alone with Prophet ﷺ means there was a hole in the cave in which again a serpent and a snake tried to come. The holy qadam and the holy foot of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) came and plugged the hole for that serpent not to come towards the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. We taught before that anyone who has the qaddam as-Siddiq (on the footstep of the Truthful) and takes the path and the way and the reality of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as) which we described tonight – be truthful to love. All your other truths, you want to pray truthfully, you want to talk truthfully – all lesser truths to the greatest truth. Be truthful to your love for if you should be truthful with your love towards these Divine servants, this Divinely Presence it will grant you the honour and the dress of honour. That dress makes you truthful with your salah, truthful with your speech, truthful with your character.
But the one whom has no honour in their heart, no love and truth in their heart and they go from hate to love, love to hate is of no value in Divinely Presence. The great Siddiq al-Mutlaq is teaching that, ‘This is a qadam (footstep) that if you take my feet and you take my path and you ask for my support, I’m there to support you against shaitan (satan) attacking you. I’ll be the ‘asaa that you have of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. If he sent me for Sayyidina Musa’s (as) nation, what do you think he send me for my own nation, for the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ?’
So means that ‘I come to support your path so that every time you feel you’re going to fall, you find me right there pushing you up. When you’re in difficulty of sustenance and bringing the sustenance towards you. That ask for my madad and keep my way, keep the honour of love, the honour of good character and I make the sustenance come to you and I take away the demons and the magic that tries to attack you. For I’m a dragon from Divinely Presence.’ They are merely magic of the world which has zahooqan (perished). In the presence of Haq (truth) all the magic of Earth is but dust in the presence of Allah’s (AJ) truth and the servants of truth.
(٨١) وَ قُلْ جَآءَالْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَطِلُ، إِنَّ الْبَطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
17:81 – “Wa qul jaa alhaqqu wa zahaqal baatil, innal batila kana zahoqa.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed falsehood, [by its nature], is ever perishing/bound to perish.” (The Night Journey, 17:81)
Each Holy Companion Represents a Holy Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ
We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us with their love, dress us with their appreciation, dress us with the sunnah of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That when Prophet ﷺ wants to give the servant merely not only dresses them, means the servants of Love they’re truthful in their love. Why they have a beard? Because they don’t want to die without one and they don’t know at what time they’re going to die. How are they going to meet Prophet ﷺ and not looking like the one whom they love? What Allah (AJ) will send, which companion accompanies you with your ring? Many saw Imam Ali (as). Which companion accompanies you when you revive the sunnah of your ‘asaa? Which companion accompanies you with just the sunnah of the siwak (teeth cleaning twig) in which to open “Nifaaqi fi qalbi wash shirki al khafi.”
اَللّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ النِّفَاقِ والشِّرْكِ اَلْخَفِي.
Allahumma tahhir qalbi minan nifaaqi wash shirki al khafi, “
O Allah! purify my heart from hypocrisy and the hidden polytheism.
Dunya People Do Things But Don’t See Any Spiritual Connection to Anything
Which companion brings that secret to take away nifaaq (hypocrisy), take away bad characteristic? By means of you just holding it, their support is right behind that sunnah, it’s their honour to keep the sunnah and the way of Prophet ﷺ. Dunya people merely do things but they don’t see any spiritual connection to anything. Spiritual people only see the spiritual. By means of this [siwak] a companion is supporting and taking away all bad characteristics and the hidden shirk (polytheism) which is making partner with Allah (AJ) means judging people. Don’t judge anyone. Judge not for you shall be judged.
The Holy Companions Want to Serve the Nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ Eternally
So means the secret of siwak, each companion has an eternal dress, an eternal khidmat (service) in which they want to serve the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ eternally. We pray that Allah (AJ) give us the love of the holy sunnah and that we carry it with an honour upon our existence and that He opens the reality of that sunnah. That when we carry that sunnah, these holy companions are all around us. That, ‘Hold your ‘asaa and ask Me what you want? Is there a demon that can face You if I’m behind you?’ No, there’s nobody. No, there’s nobody. “YansurakAllahu nasran ‘aziza.”
(٣) وَيَنصُرَكَ اللَّـهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيزًا
48:3 – “Wa yansurakAllahu nasran ‘aziza.” (Surat Al-Fath)
“And [that] Allah may help you with a mighty victory.” (The Victory, 48:3)
InshaAllah Allah (AJ) grant us from these lights, grant us from good character and muhabbat. That their imdad – their support be upon us, upon our family and our children and take our destiny into the grave to be filled with light, filled with their companionship, filled with their rahmah and mercy. And to take away “nifaaq fi qalbi wash shirki al khafi” all the hypocrisy within the heart and the hidden partnership and judgment that we put upon people and creation.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
