Seen: 3 Oceans of Certainty
‘Ilm Yaqeen, ‘Ayn Yaqeen, Haqq Yaqeen
Knowledge, Vision, and Truth of Certainty
From the Realities of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.
A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the Grace of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, we are in existence. We pray that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal be merciful upon us and dress us from those lights and blessings. We are admitting to ourselves our nothingness and that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is everything.
And Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Might and Majesty, that from: Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, “Ateeullah Atee ar-Rasol wa oolul amrin minkum.”
“O You who have believed, Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you… “(The Women, 4:59)
From the teachings of awliyaullah we have been talking about, as we enter into this holy month of Rabiul Awwal (3rd Islamic Lunar Month), the month of Milad an-Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, from Mawlana Shaykh’s teachings – whatever is correct and true is from them and whatever error is from myself.
Sayyidina Muhammad’s Light is within you (Feekum)
They have been teaching from ‘fee kum’; that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing that, ‘We have sent a warner, a prophet to be amongst you.’
“Just as We have sent among (within) you a messenger from your own, reciting to you Our Signs, and purifying you, and teaching you the Scripture/Book and Wisdom and teaching you New Knowledge, that which you did not know.” (Quran, The Cow 2:151)
The ‘feekum’, physically, that that light must be amongst you, around you. Awliyaullah come and describe that the reality of light, when it is amongst you, it is actually within you. Light moves into every reality and these are from the realities of the heavens, malakut.
That the responsibility of that light, alayhis salaatus salaam is going to zakee, is going to purify. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describes that that light, “’Aleemul kitabi wal hikmah”. ‘Aleem ul-kitab is going to teach you the kitab (book) and the hikmah, and wisdom, and teach you knowledges, that which you didn’t know.
Before we keep trying to go deeper and deeper, it is always important to reiterate and to re-evaluate that reality, so that people who are not understanding, that don’t go too deep in which they become confused. The reality that is important for us is that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal not leaving us alone, that we are not a creation that are left alone; that these lights and these blessings are around us.
Don’t Separate Kitabullah (Holy Quran) from Rasullullah (saws)
This KitabAllah, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Holy Qur’an is alive. It’s not created but it is eternal. It has a power and a qudra. And they want for us to understand that, KitabAllah is mixed with RasoolAllah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: you cannot take away Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and believe that you have a power and authority from Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Kitab.
And they bring that specific ayah as a reminder that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal ‘feekum’ (Surat al-Baqarah 2: ayah 151), that that light is amongst you. And as a result they teach and remind, they put everything back together and pieces in normal computing we say is fragmented- there are pieces everywhere- and they defragment and they put everything back together and people begin to say, ‘Eh, why wasn’t I thinking of that?’
When Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing that that light, ‘zakee’, is going to purify. So again, a reminder that: when light comes it purifies. When the haqq of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, which is the light of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it comes and dispels all darkness.
We are Zalims (Oppressors) living in Zulumat (Darkness)
When we turn off the light, that is our life in zhulm (oppression). Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describes that we are a zhalim (Oppressor) creature, that we put oppression; and the same word is for darkness – Zhulumaat.
It means for us is an example: you go to your room, turn your lights off; this is me, this is my life. I’m an oppressor to myself. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal said, “Verily, you are an oppressor to yourself. You are in your zhulumaat,” which is actually the word for darkness.
21:87-88 – “…fanada fizh zhulumati an la ilaha illa anta Subhanaka, innee kuntu minazh zhalimeen.(87)
“…But he cried out through the depths of darkness, “There is no god/deity except You; Glory be to you: Indeed I have been of the Oppressor to Myself!” (87)
The Haqq of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, because the arrogance of the ego, every ego thinks, ‘I’m also a haqq, I’m also a truth’; no, you’re not a truth, you are zhaalim. And Allah ‘Azza wa Jal goes even further and says, “You are jaholan,” because you accepted something you shouldn’t have accepted. The trust of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, not Holy Qur’an; Holy Qur’an is not for you, it is revealed to the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
33:72 – Inna a’radnal amanata ‘alas Samawati wal ardi wal jibali, fa abayna an yahmilnaha wa ashfaqna minha wa hamalaha al Insanu, innahu kana zhaloman jahoola. (Surat Al Ahzab)
“Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was Oppressor/unjust and ignorant.” (The Combined Forces)
But we asked and we took something from Allah ‘Azza wa Jal that nothing in creation wanted, and with more proof that we are big zhaalim and oppressors to ourselves ‘cause we are now responsible to Allah ‘Azza wa Jal for what we took as a trust; where the mountains didn’t want it out of fear of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal; anything in nature didn’t want it.
The Muhammadan Light will Take Away Darkness
It means then for us to understand that we are continuously in a darkness. The reality of light and the rahmah and the mercy of light, is that as soon as you turn the light on, immediately it pushes away darkness. And you can bring as much darkness as you want and it never ever overtakes the light
2:257 – “Allahu waliyyul ladheena Amano yukhrijuhum minazh Zhulumati ilan Noori…” (Surah al Baqarah)
“Allah is the Protector of those who Believe: bringing them out from the depth of darknesses into the light.” (Holy Quran)
And the greatest light, Mubeen, the most purified light, Imam al-Mubeen. When Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says Mubeen means it has an immense clarity and purity.
That the Haqq an-Nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam means then the haqq and the reality in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal dresses the light of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, “qul jaa al-haqq.”
17:81 – “Wa qul jaa alhaqqu wa zahaqal baatil, innal batila kana zahooqa.” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And say, “Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed falsehood, [by its nature], is ever perishing/bound to perish (The Night Journey 17:81)
He is saying, “Qul,” tell them, “jinab e haqq,” that when you come, all falsehood will perish, alayhis salaatus salaam. Means when the light of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam comes, by its nature it moves and every falsehood and zhulumaat will be obliterated: the two can’t be in proximity.
And falsehood by its nature is always perishing. Means whatever looks to be false, you think it to be standing and Allah ‘Azza wa Jal warning, ‘Don’t worry. It has a time in which it will fall’. It will perish; it will show itself for what it is as false.
But Nurul Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is eternal and is standing straight and bright. It is represented by the light of all the prophets, alayhis salaatus salaam, that they bring the light and the haqq of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. As soon as that light comes, that is the zakee, that is the purification because they want for us to open these realities within our soul.
So then how to bring the light of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam? Very easy formula was: make Durood-e-Shareef (praising upon Prophet (saws). So now everyone, whenever they email, that, ‘I have a problem, I have a difficulty, my sustenance, jadu (black magic)…etc.’; whatever it is, make salawat on Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He is the only defender of truth. There is no one to help you but the love of Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants that. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, this is the Habib and the love of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal.
So means as soon as we make Duroode Shareef; ‘Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’ (O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad (pbuh) and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him); Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s teaching is that, ‘Allah ‘Azza wa Jal will let my soul to be in your presence’.
The Holy Quran is Emanating from the Heart of Prophet (saws)
Prophet (saws) is showing an ihtiram and respect: ‘I’m coming, bi idhnillah, I’m coming by the permission of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. I am Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Laylatul Qadr, I am Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Qudra: la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil ‘Aliyul ‘Azheem’.
“And there is no Support/strength, nor power except by Allah, The Sublimely Exalted, The Magnificent.”
The ‘hawla’ is the support; the ‘quwwa’ is Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because Nur ul-Qur’an is coming through the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. That is the: “Qaf, wal Qur’an al-Majeed.”
50:1– “Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed. ” (Surat Qaf)
“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an. ” (Holy Quran 50:1)
Where is Qur’an al-Majeed? We said before, the mushaf: that is a paper book, that is furqaan because Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, ‘Qur’an, if I put it to the mountains, it be dust out of fear, out of fear’.
59:21 – “Law anzalna hadha alQurana ‘ala jabalin laraaytahu, khashi’an mutasaddi’an min khashyatillahi….” (Surat Al Hashr)
“Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, verily, you would have seen it obliterated to dust (from its power) And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will Contemplate… ” (Quran, The Exile 59:21)
But the jahul (ignorant), he walks around with it thinking that that power, he has that power. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, ‘If I open the power of that Holy Qur’an, you and that mountain will be dust and obliterated’. What you carry is a furqaan, is the kitab of right and wrong. Its custodian, its power is Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
“Innahu dhikrun wa Qur’anun mubeen,” Surat al-YaSeen, because this is the heart of Holy Qur’an. In Surat al-YaSeen, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing the heart of where Qur’an is now emanating.
36:69 – “Wa ma ‘allamnahu shi’ra wa ma yanbaghee lahu, in huwa illa dhikrun wa Quranun Mubeen.” (Surah YaSeen)
“We have not taught him (Prophet Muhammad) poetry, nor it is befitting for him. He (Prophet Muhammad) is not but Zikr (Remembrance/Praise) and the Clear Quran.” (Holy Quran, YaSin 36:69)
36:1-3 – “- YaSeen. (1) wal Quranil Hakeem. (2) Innaka laminal Mursaleen. (3)” (Surah Yaseen)
“YaSeen.(1)By the wise Qur’an. (2) Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among/one of the messengers, (3)” (Holy Quran, 36:1-3)
“YaSeen,” Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing for us, swearing by that reality, “wal Qur’anil Hakeem” (by the Wise Quran). That verily by the reality of Sayyidina YaSeen sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, is Habibullah (Beloved of Allah). When you say Sayyiduna YaSeen alayhis salaam, he’s HabibAllah.
Salatullah salamullah, ‘ala Taha Rasullillah
Salatullah salamullah, ‘ala Yaseen Habibillah
Allah’s praise and blessing be upon Taha, Messenger of Allah
Allah’s praise and blessing be upon the Yaseen, Beloved of Allah
Sayyiduna Taha is Rasulullah; Taha is tahirul hadi. The name of Taha is the perfected guide in which Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s attachment is RasulAllah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
YaSeen س ي = يس
YaSeen يس – Ya ي – All the knowledge
YaSeen is the secret of the heart. The ya ي every uloom (knowledge) is between the alif ا and the ya ي. We described before: every time we see ya ي , it’s yaqeen and certainty.
When you study the alphabet and you go from alif ا [first letter of Arabic alphabet] all the way to Ya ي [last letter of Arabic alphabet]. So every knowledge is contained in these letters. And this ‘Ya’ goes back because the circle of knowledge is da’eem (eternal): as soon as you get to the ya ي , it comes right behind and attaches itself to the alif ا , and then it becomes ya يا ; ya alif.
Then the ya يا , it encapsulates all the knowledges. Every letter that you are going to write, that every knowledge is comprised of letters. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave that entire package of knowledge is from Nur ul-Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: uloom ul-‘awaleen wal ‘akhireen (Knowledges of the begining and the end] is in that ya.
Seen س : The Secret of Light
The Light of the Secret and the Secret of Light
The seen, it carries the secret of all creation, nur ul-anwaar wa sirrat ul-asraa, the light of the secret and the secret of light itself, because everything manifesting is light. So quantum physics, they found out that everything is light. When you see this [pointing at an object], it is light. When Allah doesn’t give a light, it’s not yet manifested. So the whole of manifested world is manifesting because of Nur ul Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam; you can’t say, ‘Allah’ because there’s no sharik (partner) with Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, there’s no partner with Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. That Might and Majesty is beyond something you can imagine; we are in the circle of creation.
That light that’s manifesting is the secret of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s light. [He (saws) said] that, ‘I was the first of Allah’s creation,’ hadith jabir. ‘the first thing that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal created, was the light of your Nabi’ sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So means that every light is from this secret.
Qala Rasullullah (saws): “Awwalu ma khalaqAllahu nuri Nabyika, Ya Jabir.”
“The first thing that Allah created was your prophet`s light (referring to himself (saw)) O Jabir.” Prophet Muhammad (saws)
Seen س : Three Oceans of Certainty
When they say the seen س , it has the three oceans. The secret of light and the light of the secret is comprised of that seen. So when we see the seen س in Qur’an, it has to do with that sirr سر and that secret which is: ‘ilm ul-yaqeen, ‘ayn al-yaqeen, haqq ul yaqeen. So the sirr and the secret is based on the knowledge of certainty, means the knowledge of all realities. That secret that all creation is searching for, which is existing within the reality of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He is the container, don’t think physically that there’s somebody physically standing there.
We are talking about the nur; that nur (light) that is every creation that you are seeing of this universe and infinite universes, when it manifests, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gives it a nur (light). It is the ‘amr (command): Allah gave an order and that creation manifested because still in Surat al-YaSeen, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal described His ‘Iradah is also in the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: “My Will is also in the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.” That’s the non-manifested world. It didn’t get manifested.
36:82 – “Innama amruhu idha arada shay an, an yaqoola lahu kun fayakoon.” (Surat Yaseen)
“His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, “Be,” and it is..” (Yasin 36:82)
1. ‘Ilm ul Yaqeen علم اليقين – Knowledge of Certainty
Then what we see is that light. And all creation is searching for that reality. Awliyaullah come into our lives and begin to teach that: that seen is comprised of ‘ilm ul-yaqeen (knowledge of certainty).
102:5 – “Kal la law t’alamoona ‘ilm al yaqeen.” (Surat At Takathur)
“No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty.” (Holy Quran)
Seek the Knowledge of Certainty
It means spend your life searching for ‘ilm ul-yaqeen, not watching YouTube on how to make wudu, or people who talk and give khutbas about politics. Means when you are hearing it and watching it and you think to yourself, ‘Is this ‘ilm ul-yaqeen, or ten thousand people are giving the same talk?’ That’s not ‘ilm ul–yaqeen. That’s not going to give any certainty to you and that’s not going to give any darajat (station) to the soul.
Means the seeker has a limited time: you think you have a hundred years; maybe you have ten years, some people die at ten years old, some die at twenty, thirty, forty- you don’t know what time Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave to us. So Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam warned: be careful with the time that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gives to you, and with that time, use it to seek realities. So then we became the seekers of ‘ilm ul-yaqeen, that, ‘Ya Rabbi, when I’m listening and what I’m trying to study, are these the knowledge of realities and certainties’.
People with strong Dunya desires, Don’t understand these realities
Then the turooqs (Islamic spiritual paths) and the Ahlul Haqqa’iq (people of reality), they teach that in this level of knowledge, for you to understand and not be lost by it; because some people are listening and saying, ‘I don’t know what the heck this guy’s talking about. Now that’s a different thing because your two legs are in dunya (material world) and it is not making any sense to you.
You have to have one leg in dunya and one leg in aakhirah (hereafter) because we are the people of mawt wal qabl al-mawt (dying before dead). Means we are the people who are in a state of dying; the desires of the material world are dying, the love, attraction, and affection for the heavens is so strong and emanating.
Be conscious of your Journey to Akhira (hereafter)
As a result [of losing the desire of dunya and having strong love for akhira], there is a parda (veil) that moves and the knowledges of paradise begin to dress that one soul. They [Awliya/saints] understand their destination back home.
[For people who don’t think of hereafter], it’s ike when somebody heedless in this world and they don’t know where they are going. You ask them,
you don’t know where your trip is?
They say ‘No.’
‘You don’t know where you are staying?’
‘No, I have no idea.’
‘Did you plan anything? Did you take any money with you?’
They say, ‘No.’
This is our trip that is eternal for us. When the desire of dunya goes, you begin to become conscious of that journey, that, ‘Ya Rabbi, where am I going to be? Where am I going to be stationed? Where is my proximity? Don’t let me to be far away from the ones whom I love; I want to be with them. I want to be sitting with them; I want to be eating with them; I want to be absorbed in them.’
They tell you, ‘Then seek their knowledges and seek their way; seek their satisfaction.’ And we found ourselves, ‘Labbaik, Allahumma labbaik (I am here at your service),’ even more labbaik, ya RasulAllah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, labbaik; that we’re hearing the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and drawing us to that reality.
2. ‘Ayn al Yaqeen عين اليقين – Vision of Certainty
Then for these knowledges to take place and open the sirr within the heart, then you need ‘ayn al-yaqeen (vision of certainty). It means you take the knowledge of realities but you have to open the eye of reality.
(Surat At Takathur )
“Then you will surely see it with the eye/vision of certainty.” (Holy Quran, 102:7)
What you see from these physical eyes, is an illusion. Now it is going to become more apparent what a grotesque illusion this is. What do you think of this world and what people are doing? You think it’s nothing, that it’s nice, it’s MacDonald’s down the street. We can’t imagine the level of evilness, from the level of grotesqueness: you can’t imagine it. And Allah ‘Azza wa Jal was teaching qadim (ancient), that these eyes of yours are seeing an illusion.
Tafakkur (meditate) to open the ‘Ayn al Yaqeen (Vision of Certainty)
It means then they inspired within us for ‘ayn al-yaqeen (vision of certainty): you have to take a way of tafakkur. Means every night you sit by yourself and contemplate and close your eyes and say, ‘This is my qabr; this is my death; this is my grave’. Play salawats and listen and it brings a love for Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam; play Holy Qur’an and brings a love for Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, for Allah ‘Azza wa Jal and the heavenly reality.
[Think] ‘Ya Rabbi (O my lord), am I ready for my death tomorrow? Am I ready to meet You? I’m going to be ashamed in front of You. Ya Rabbi, let me to take my hisab (account). What am I doing, ya Rabbi? What am I doing? Am I praying, is everything going to be okay? Are You going to pull me aside and say that, ‘No, no, you have to be punished’?’
Means then the conscious ones and saaliheen (pious ones) and those who follow awliyaullah (saints), constantly their heart is being pushed; be conscious of your condition. Then they begin to make sure that all their praying and all their tafakkur and all their accounts with Allah ‘Azza wa Jal are as good as possible. And they fill those accounts with the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s Durood-e-Shareef, for in case anything is going to go off and not be correct.
So, then the ‘ayn al-yaqeen, they are sitting and continuously in tafakkur, continuously listening to salawat, darkening the room, connecting their heart up, asking, ‘Ya Rijalullah, send Your Madad and Support. Ya Rabbi, those whom you love, let them to be around me, not only in my physical eyes what I see but more in my spiritual eyes. That let me to be in their company. Let me to be with them, ya Rabbi. Whatever you gave to them of blessings, let that fa’iz (blessing) to be dressing me and blessing me.’
And Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, ‘Aafareen, good boy, you are humble. Don’t think yourself you are independent and you have everything. Think yourself, you are the worst one and you need everything. As much as I give to you, think you are the worst one and you need everything,’ because you can’t imagine the Bounty of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. You can’t imagine; don’t’ limit it. You saw one good vision and now you became a fir’aun (Pharoah)?
Negate your Dreams and Spiritual Visions
That’s why they say, when they call you and keep telling you dreams, and we keep telling people, ‘We don’t care for your dreams. This is your imagining world and your Disneyland within your crazy mind. Negate it. This way is to negate’. Now those advice websites became dreamscapes: everyone is sending in their crazy dreams, for what? You are making yourself sicker! Eliminate the dream. Even eliminate the annihilation and the way of tafakkur. Even annihilate whatever khashf is coming to you, for if you think you have a khashf.
Means whenever you are sitting and you are meditating and all of a sudden they are bringing a jubba from heaven and dressing you with the jubba; then they give you a turban from heaven and they give you like this, like this, and say, ‘Ya Rabbi, thank You very much. If that’s real, I still don’t want it. I’m not in need of that; that’s just making me to be sicker. Ya Rabbi, I’m nothing, ilahi anta maqsoodi wa ridaka matloob, Ilahi anta maqsoodi.’
“Illahi anta maqsodi, wa Ridaka Matlobi.”
“My God, You are my aim, and Your Satisfaction is what I seek.”
It means keep negating and negating and negating everything, everything that, ‘Ya Rabbi, all I want is to reach Your Oceans of Power. Let me to reach into Your Oceans of Light and Power and my soul to be dressed in that’.
Take a Path of Humility and crushing your Ego
This is the teaching of awliyaullah, that no matter whatever is coming to you: negate it. Whatever dream came to you, negate it. Listen to it and say, ‘Thank you very much.’ If it increases your worshipness, means it tells you in the dream, ‘Go pray hundred rakaats,’ Alhamdulillah, go pray the hundred rakaats. If it tells you about somebody else and to do something and say something to someone else: it’s from shaytaan. You are not to do anything with anyone, not to warn anyone. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal can warn whom He wants. He’s not in need of you; you’re not a rasol (messenger), where a message coming to you. There’s just shaytaan and your ego playing with you. You know nothing. You are nothing.
Take a path in which you are nothing. Say, ‘I’m nothing, I’m nothing, ana abdikal ajiz, wa da’eef wa miskeen, zhaalim wa jahal, ya Rabbi (I am your helpless, powerless, weak, poor, oppressor and ignorant servant). I’m not going to stop until You dress me from Your Oceans of Power, ya Rabbi’.
The ‘ayn al-yaqeen (vision of certainty) is then to crush everything within our self and open the spiritual eye. When we take a path in which we are crushing, crushing, crushing, these knowledges expand the heart. Because if you are crushing and you are contemplating, you are entering more into your paradise reality.
As soon as you enter into your paradise reality, these teachings are like food from paradise. But if you are too material, you’re like, ‘I’m full and I don’t know what you are talking about. I’m looking about how to acquire mass amounts of real estate.’ You’re full and you’re filled with your dunya desire; you have no interest in your paradise reality.
3. Haqq al Yaqeen حق اليقين – Truth of Certainty
Then the ‘ilm ul-yaqeen are the knowledges coming from their hearts. ‘Ayn al-yaqeen is your process of opening the heart, your eye of your heart. When the eye of the heart opens and the spiritual eyes open, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal make it to be a haqq yaqeen (truth of certainty) for you; because through your heart, you are understanding. The knowledges that are coming, you should be witnessing that knowledge. When you begin to witness the knowledge, means you are tasting it, you are understanding it and your shahadah, your witnessing shuhood is real.
56:95 – “Inna hadha la huwa haq qul yaqeen.” (Surat Al Waqi’ah )
“Indeed, this is the truth of certainty.” (Holy Quran, The Inevitable)
So when the shaykh talks, in the contemplation, they see it. They are witnessing with their soul; it’s a truth for them. If you don’t witness it, you can’t talk about it because it’s not a truth for you. It was merely just: you heard it. That is the sirr and the secret of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
So means that all the knowledge is in the ya ي and every reality is within that Seen س , and they took a path of ‘ilm ul-yaqeen, open ‘ayn al-yaqeen; as a result, it becomes haqq yaqeen. As a result, it becomes a reality that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is testifying by YaSeen يس .
Prophet (s) is the Haqqul Yaqeen & Kanzullah (Treasure of Allah)
69:51 – “Wa inna Hu, la Haqqul yaqeen.” (Surat Al Haqqah )
“Indeed, He is the truth of certainty.” (Holy Quran, The Reality)
That, that power, that light and those knowledges, that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the treasure of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, and there is only one treasure. There is no wali (saint) that has a treasure; they take from the treasure of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.”
“I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.” (Hadith Qudsi)
Salawat (Praising upon Prophet (s):
Khairil bariyah, nazhra ilayya Ma anta illa, kanzul ‘atiyah
O’ the best of creation (Prophet Muhammad (s)), gaze upon me,
You are the treasure that Allah has sent as a blessing [Mercy to Creation]
There is only one treasure in all of creation: KanzAllah (treassure of Allah) is Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He is like the treasure chest: as much as you’re ‘ilm ul-yaqeen, ‘ayn al-yaqeen, haqq yaqeen, as if the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam opening. ‘Ya waladi (my son) come and take.’
Mawlana Shaykh describes: some take by hand, some take by cup, some take by rivers full. Of how much they are drawing to the closeness of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and how much they are in need of that reality, Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s heart flowing upon them.
Wa kulluhum min Rasulillahi multamisun
Gharfan minal bahri wa rashfan minal diyami
All of them come and take from Allah’s Messenger,
Some took a handful of his ocean and some took a sip of his continuous rains
The Power you are Reaching to is Nur Muhammad (saws)
Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is describing then, “YaSeen, wal Qur’an al-Hakeem,”
36:1-2 – “Ya-seen.(1) wal Qur’anal Hakeem.(2)” (Surat Yaseen)
“Ya-Seen.(1) By the Qur’an, full of Wisdom. (holy Quran 36:1-2)
That, ‘The power that you are reaching to is from My beloved, My most Beloved, the centre of the entire created universe and all its heavens; that that light is before any angel, before any Kabah, before any paradise, before any Bayt ul-Ma’mur’.
Ya Jabir, in Allah khalaqa qablal Ashiya e Nooro Nabiyika min Noorehi.
He (Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “O Jabir, the first thing Allah created was the light of your Prophet from His (Allah’s) light, and that light remained (lit. “turned”) in the midst of His Power for as long as He wished, and at that time, there was no Tablet and no Pen, and no Paradise and no Fire, and no angel, and no heaven or an earth, and no Sun and no Moon, and No Human being and no jinn.
[Allah (aj) said in Holy Quran]:
24:35 – “Allahu noorus samawati wal ardi. mathalu noorehi kamishkatin feeha misbahun, almisbahu fee zujajatin, azzujajatu kaannaha kawkabun durriyyun … yakadu zaytuha yudeeo wa law lam tamsashu naarun. noorun ‘ala noorin…” (Surat An Noor)
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: … though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light!…” (The Light, 24:35)
Walking Quran
The Furqan, Holy Quran, and Holy Ummul Kitab
You have furqaan, you have Qur’an, emanating from the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and you have Ummul Kitab. Umm ul Kitab is the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in paradise. Umm ul Kitab ام الكتاب: alif ا meem م .It is the highest level of reality in the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, where Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, and nothing comes between Allah ‘Azza wa Jal and Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Quran without Mercy is Dangerous
Means these are the darajats in which to reach towards these realities. That what people are walking with is furqaan, a book of right and wrong. Without the rahmah (mercy), it is dangerous.
Without the rahmah and the mercy, that book is very scary for people. So you see all these dayeesh, how they come up with those understandings? They read the same Qur’an that we read; it’s frightening. How they came up with that? Because they lack the Rahmah of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, where Allah ‘Azza wa Jal told us and warned us, “Wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil-‘aalameen”;
Don’t Leave out the Rahmah (Mercy) of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)
21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatan lil’alameen.” (Surat Al Anbiva)
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” (The Prophets 21:107)
“Don’t leave out the rahmah of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. I wouldn’t have sent him but he is a rahmah for all creation. He is bringing my Holy Qur’an: “tanzilul ‘aziz al-raheem”.
36:5 – “Tanzilal ‘Azizir Raheem. (Surah Yaseen)
“It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. ” (Holy Quran, 36:5)
He is coming from paradise realities; I’m sending that light to all paradises, to all universes into the physicality known as Muhammadun RasoolAllah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.”
Means that is a tremendous mercy for all, for all creation, for all malayika (angels). None of them had the reality of their ma’rifa until the reality of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stand upon this earth. And that’s why in Isra wal-Mi’raj when Jibra’il said, ‘We have a had (limit), we have a limit and we don’t traverse beyond that limit ya Sayyidi’.
Prophet (saws) is Walking Holy Quran
Means that rahmah and that mercy is something unimaginable. That is, when Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing ‘fee kum’,
“Just as We have sent among (within) you a messenger from your own, reciting to you Our Signs, and purifying you, and teaching you the Scripture/Book and Wisdom and teaching you New Knowledge, that which you did not know.” (Quran, The Cow 2:151)
That Prophet (saws) is going to purify you. When that light comes, comes to purify you. ‘Aleemul Kitab, he is walking Qur’an. That as soon as you have the love or Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he is conveying you with what – accounting knowledge, science knowledges, bookkeeping? He is dressing you from Holy Qur’an! He is dressing you from the light of Holy Qur’an and Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, ‘A result is you’re going to have hikmah (wisdom).’ And as a result of those realities, Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam begin to teach you that which you knew not, knowledges that you didn’t know because these are from the treasures of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Awliya are in the Heart of Prophet (saws)
That light of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is amongst people; andthose that achieve that reality means their soul entered deep into the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam while they are living; why Allah ‘Azza wa Jal opened that?
The People of the Door, Ulul baab. Why all these categories? Ulul qayimin bil qist, ulul Baab – the People of the Door, Ahbaab – the People of Love: These are the darajats (stations) of these rijal (men of God), in which they entered into the sittings and into the realities of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam while they are alive. As a result, their souls are swimming in that ocean.
Awliya are Muhammadan Light among people (Feekum) – Allah sends Blessings because of them
If their soul is in that ocean that means that the ‘feekum’ is that awliyaullah are amongst people. When their physicality is amongst people, every dress that they’re being dressed from the heart of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is dressing upon creation. As a result, wherever they move, there is barakah. Allah sends rain because of them; Allah sends rahmah because of them; Allah ‘Azza wa Jal sends sustenance in abundance because of that soul. Why? Not because of them but because they are deep in the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Allah ‘Azza wa Jal swore by that: “YaSeen, wal Qur’an al Hakeem.” (Holy Quran 36:1-2). That they are deep in the realities of Sayyiduna YaSeen sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Their souls, they are swimming in that ocean. Means then every wisdom is flowing, every light and every reality flowing for them; as a result is a barakah for all of creation, not only on this earth but entire universes.
Awliya are Loaded Ships, Carrying the Souls
So ‘feekum’, not only the light of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but the vehicles in which contain that light: “hamalna dhurriyatahum fil fulook ul mash’hoon”,
36:41 “Wa ayatul lahum anna hamalna dhurriyyatahum fil fulkil mashhooni.” (Surat Yaseen)
“And a sign for them is that we have carried their atoms/forefathers in the loaded ship.” (Holy Quran, Ya Sin 36:41).
That these are all ships traversing the earth. And Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, ‘They are loaded ships’. They are loaded with what – the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And that’s why they are describing what that ‘loaded’ contains: it contains all the realities that Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam’s being dressed by Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. These are loaded ships. As a result, wherever they move, all these tabarraks and blessings are flowing.
We pray that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal guide us to those lights and keep us in the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and under the feet of awliyaullah.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi sirri surat al-Fatiha.
