Spiritual Realities Have No Time
Ana abdukal ajizu daifu miskeenu zalim wa jahl and if not by the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re not in existence. That asking Allah (AJ) to open His oceans of rahmah (mercy) and that we enter into these oceans of rahmah. That to know our nothingness, nasyam mansiyya. That our whole life is about the negation of the self and the bad characteristics, to open all the realities in which Allah (AJ) wants to open.
(Surat Maryam)
“…She cried (in her anguish): Oh, I wish I had died before this! and I was a thing forgotten and out of sight!” (Mary, 19:23)
The month of pilgrimage, the month of one year’s completion of a movement, a hijrah (migration) to the Divinely presence of Allah (AJ), to the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, presence of awliyaullah (saints) and all whom Allah (AJ) pleased with and blessing of Ashab an Nabi ﷺ, Ahlul Bayt an Nabi ﷺ. That the physical act, alhamdulillah, so many people teaching and the importance of the spiritual reality within every physical action. That spiritual reality is what is important in our life. That it’s applicable because the spiritual reality has no time. That we don’t view Islamic issues like old stories. That we read about it and we say, ‘Oh wow! That was like amazing a long time ago. Now how does this apply to my life today?’ But the ruhaniyat and the spiritual and the malakut. Kulli shay.
2:282 – “…Wat taqollaha, wa yu’allimukumullahu, wallahu bi kulli shayin ‘Aleem.” (Surat Al-Baqarah)
“…And Be conscious of/Fear Allah, And Allah teaches you. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything.” (The Cow, 2:282)
We Shall Return to the World of Light (Holy Qur’an, 21:35)
Allah (AJ) constantly reminding within our hearts that the malakut (heavenly realm) is all encompassing. If you understand the malakut, the atomic reality, the light reality, it’s all encompassing. It’s the power of everything that you have in your physicality. To that, you shall return, wa ilayna turja’oon. It means to that reality of the malakut, you’re going back; not to the reality of the world of form.
21:35 – “Kullu nafsin dhayiqatul Mawti, wa nablokum bish sharri wal khayri fitnatan, wa ilayna turja’oon.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)
“Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return.” (The Prophets, 21:35)
It means then everything in the Hajj is a way to reach towards the realities of Allah (AJ). It means that we came from the shahada (testimony of faith), we came with the salah (prayer), we came with the zakah (charity), we came with the sawm ar Ramadan, the fasting. All of those continuously moving upon us and a continuous hijrah (migration) to Divinely presence. It’s not one action, one time, but at every moment. All of these are opening towards the Divinely presence and the Divinely reality.
Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) is the Guardian of Submission
So, it means that Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) comes into our life. Allah (AJ) chose that package as an example for Ummat e Muhammad ﷺ that keep that way. Keep this. It’s so important in the way of sacrifice and the way of realities. Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) represents nafs al-mutma’ina. He’s the guardian, alayhis salaam, of that reality. What Prophet ﷺ wants for us is to reach that. Reach to your mutma’ina, that the self that is secure and self-realized; the self that is in taslim (submission) and understands its reality. So much so, that Prophet ﷺ wanted us, in salah, Salawat ul Ibrahimiya. When you praise upon Prophet Sayyidina Ibrahim (as), that Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) comes and dresses us from his maqam (station) because ‘Remember me and I remember you in a better association.’ Allaahumma salli ‘alaa Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘alaa ‘aali Sayyidina Muhammadin, kamaa sallayta ‘alaa Sayyidina ‘Ibrahima wa ‘alaa ‘aali Sayyidina ‘Ibrahima.
“O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad and upon the Family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as You have bestowed Your favor on our master Ibrahim and on the family of our master Ibrahim, You are the Praised One, Most Glorious.”
Each Tawaf Around the Kabah has a Different Reality
So, why Prophet ﷺ wanted that? Because Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) holds a tremendous realty. That the nafs al-mutma’ina, that when you remember me, I will come to your nation and praise and pray upon them, to reach what Allah (AJ) dressed upon me. Every pious person wants whatever Allah (AJ) dressed upon them, to dress upon others. That’s their khidmat. That’s their service to Allah (AJ), to Prophet ﷺ. It means that the tawaf (circumambulation) has a reality. You’re making 7 tawaf, opening the 7 realities upon insan (mankind), their 7 names in paradise. Each name and each tawaf has a reality. You’re making Safa Marwa 7 times. It means there are 7 springs and 7 realities of fountains that Allah (AJ) wants to dress upon the soul of the believer. Sayyidina Hagar (as) went 7 times. On the 7th, she hit the ground and zamzam came out.
Shaykhs Will Make You Run Your Safa Marwa
It means our life is about continuous movement and struggle in Allah’s (AJ) way. It’s important because people come to shaykh and they ask questions like, ‘Where am I supposed to live? Where am I supposed to have a job?’ It’s not you came to a fortune teller, and ‘Oh, you – you’re going to be in that printing company down the road.’ No, Allah (AJ) wants a Safa Marwa. Make them run! Run back, run there. Run back, run forth. Run forth, run back.
So, in our life, Mawlana Shaykh, when we were training and starting, ‘Mawlana, what am I supposed to do?’ ‘You – market. Look for grocery store.’ Grocery store? I came to live near you to reach marifah (gnosticism), but they didn’t say it. This is the khatir of my heart and when Mawlana Shaykh said something, that was it. Grocery store. Grocery store. I’ll…we were looking everywhere. Up and down, up and down. Grocery store, grocery store. I can’t imagine I came all this way to run a grocery store? Then did it, didn’t and then I said, ‘Sayyidi, there isn’t. It doesn’t look like any grocery store written for me. It’s just you know, the numbers are not working out, it’s not.’ So, ‘Yeah, gas, gas station. For you, gas station is good. You look at gas stations.’
We Must Follow Samina wa Atana Like Prophet’s ﷺ Companions
This was Safa Marwa because these are awliyaullah (saints). They are not magicians. They’re not crystal ball people. That you have to look somewhere else. They implement what Allah (AJ) wants within our life, to perfect our faith because they want us to live like sahabi (companions). How they struggled with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and they never said a word. Prophet ﷺ (said), ‘We’re going here.’ Samina wa Atana. We’re going here, Samina wa Atana.
(Surat Al-Baqarah)
“…We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys.” (The Cow, 2:285)
They didn’t say, ‘No, I don’t think this looks like it’s a good cause. I don’t maybe think its right.’ They didn’t put any opinion. It wasn’t important – just samina wa atana. They say you’re going to be a gas station. Look up and down, up and down all over where we lived for gas station. I’m thinking the whole time, ‘How am I going to tell my dad?’ That I left all of that, and I’m going to be running gas station. Look, look, look. Then Mawlana, ‘You’re going to have motel.’ Motel? Look everywhere, look everywhere for motel, look everywhere for motel. Up and down, up and down, everywhere for motel. So, you’re running, running, running, running; dealing with my wife and it’s not easy. Everyday you go home and you cry. You’re thinking within your heart, God forbid, this shaykh doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He doesn’t know what what I’m supposed to be doing with my life. Look like he’s making, ya Rabbi, as we go. Every bad characteristic will come out in the Safa Marwa, in our lives of running. Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run! There’s no quick solution. Allah (AJ) wants the struggle. Allah (AJ) doesn’t want to give you the result. What would be the benefit of that? Oh, here. Here’s your this. Go over there. No! Run. Run left and right. Run left and right. Right when you’re about to give up, that these people are crazy, they don’t know what they’re doing.
Sayyidatina Hagar’s (as) Struggle was Accepted Upon the Discovery of Zamzam
At that time, Allah (AJ) may open because this was the life of Sayyidina Hagar (as). Say, how a prophet of God left us in the desert with a baby? I’m dying of thirst and running. Where’s this water going to come from? Who inspired her to move this way and then move that way and then move this way and then move that way? Until the end, she came and said, ‘I’m finished. It’s not going to work’ and hit the ground.
At that time, Allah (AJ) accepted her struggle. It means right when you think you’re going to give up, the lucky ones are the ones in their heart that they say, ‘There’s no way, ya Rabbi, I came to die in this way. I came to, to die as Muslimoon with my faith. I’m not going to give up.’ You hit the ground and that’s the time in which Allah (AJ) springs the fountains of zamzam. It means that we’re going to make you from the people of hayat and you’re going to drink from your paradise realities.
Contemplate Each Time You’re Faced With Intense Struggle
It means every time we’re struggling in the path and in the way of Allah (AJ), the way of marifah (gnosticism), its not an easy path. It’s a path in which Sayyidina Musa (as) was questioning Sayyidina Khidr (as). It’s if Sayyidina Musa (as) is having difficulty understanding Sayyidina Khidr (as), which is our 11th Shaykh in Naqshandiyatil Aliyyah, imagine then our lives.
But if you don’t have the tools to survive, you’re going to be dead. Our tools were tafakkur (contemplation). That every time the testing became intense, the running became intense, the only solution was tafakkur. That you make your tafakkur and contemplation and you begin your spiritual practices. In the spiritual connection, they come in front of you at that time because you’re struggling. Allah (AJ) accepting your struggle and the shaykh comes with perfection.
Your Shaykh is Not Imperfect, But Merely a Reflection of You
Anyone who sees the shaykh in imperfect image, it’s a reflection of their bad characteristic. It’s a reflection of your imperfection. As soon as you see – real, real sight – is when you see the shaykh complete; in complete sunnah and complete perfection. It means now you’re entering into oceans of ikhlas (sincerity). If you see the shaykh imperfect, it means you’re imperfect, not the shaykh is imperfect because you’re looking into the mirror. Prophet ﷺ teaching that the believer is a mirror to his brother. It means they want to reflect to you. What you’re seeing is still you have things to perfect upon yourself. But when you’re reaching towards ikhlas and sincerity, you see them in full sunnah, in full light, in full radiance.
‘An Abi Hurairah (ra), qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ “Al mu’min miratal mu’min.”
Narrated Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “The believer is the mirror of the believer.”
They begin to teach through the spiritual connection that you’re understanding. You struggled, don’t worry. You struggle, you don’t worry. The relief is coming. The zamzam is opening for you. So, it means there is a reality in Safa Marwa. That these lights and these fountains are going to open within the heart of the believer to reach towards their marifah (gnosticism). All of Hajj is Arafah.
All of Creation is Making Tawaf
So, the tremendous reality is again a reminder because you may remind somebody for 8, 9, 10 years. All of a sudden, on the 10th year, they understood what you’re talking about. Say, ‘Shaykh, the tawaf around the atom.’ We said that when we came here. The sama, then the reality of the sama is a tremendous reality of our being. That everything is making tawaf. Your being is moving at such a high rate of speed. Your electrons, which is the source of your soul, is moving at such a high rate of speed. When you become conscious of your spin, of your electrons, of your movement, Allah (AJ) will open that reality as a means for you to move towards the heavens.
It means they authorize, then entry into that energy. As soon as you enter into that energy, everything is moving like the speed of Bahrul Qudra; counter clockwise, fast. Some awliya (saints) can move so fast, they disappear like the electrons. Where they go, Allah (AJ) knows and when they reappear. This is from their Haqiqat al Tay. Everything is within their science of their understanding. It means that that reality is so tremendous, to reach towards that.
When You Become Aware of Your Spinning Atoms, Allah (AJ) Raises You Towards the Heavens
So, you may speak for years and years until the plant become rushd, like a tree. At that time, it understood. It had been be watered by that reality. It had been planted into that reality. You don’t know at what time it becomes a tree and it begins to understand. The heart is opening. If I’m understanding what you’re talking about the atom. When I’m making tafakkur, I feel my soul moving like a tornado into the room. By means of that movement, you’re elevating towards the heavens. Everything is spinning. Everything is spinning for Allah (AJ) in a praise. Nothing is standing still for Allah (AJ). Everything is in a tremendous rate of motion because of its attraction for Allah (AJ).
Our Atoms are in Complete Worshipness to Allah (AJ)
Attraction, your love to reach to Divine presence, is so powerful. Allah (AJ) provides a little bit of distance that, ‘No, you can’t come right now.’ It begins the power of spin because anything has an attraction, it will begin to spin. When it spins at a rate of speed and begins to spin, then you have an upward thrust. These three realities are governing our entire universe. You see everything because it’s a hologram. It’s just spinning. It’s all spinning because of this attraction, the love, the spin, and upward thrust.
So, it means it’s all based on love. If Allah (AJ) didn’t put the initial love, you wouldn’t spin. You say, ‘Heck with it. I’m not going.’ Your atoms would say, ‘I’m not going.’ Nothing would be moving. Our atoms are in complete worshipness to Allah (AJ). The atoms follow the Qur’an exact! The universe follows Holy Qur’an exact. Just the insan (man), he’s jahool (ignorant). Where Allah (AJ) say, we’ve offered this to the mountains, they said, ‘Oh no, no, no, ya Rabbi.’ We’ve offered it, the trust, and everything said, ‘No.’ But insan, he’s jahool. He’s ignorant and he said, ‘Yes, I’ll take it,’ not knowing its responsibility and its reality.
33:72 – “Inna a’radnal amanata ‘alas Samawati wal ardi wal jibali, fa abayna an yahmilnaha wa ashfaqna minha wa hamalaha al Insanu, innahu kana zhaloman jahoola.” (Surat Al-Ahzab)
“Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was Oppressor/unjust and ignorant.” (The Combined Forces, 33:72)
Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) Gave Everything He Had in the Way of Allah (AJ), Including His Only Child
So, from the small atomic reality to the great universes are submitting. Only the jahool (ignorant) in the middle says, ‘Oh I don’t know. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not going to do it.’ It means then all of the Hajj is opening that reality. Everything with you already is in a complete Hajj, perfected Hajj. Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) comes into our life and begins to teach that for our being, if all of Hajj and all this reality is Arafah. Arafah is the sacrifice. Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) has a vision. That all his life, he was charitable, charitable, charitable. All his stories about his charity, his giving, of everything.
(He) Has a vision after – only thing he wanted was a child. Allah (AJ) granted the child. It has a vision. This is the day of Arafat. I want him. Ya Rabbi, I gave everything in your way. It means the zakah is not you give 5% or 2%. Zakat is every percent, it’s 100%. Sahabi were giving their entire life. They’re not giving 2%. There was nobody who gave 2%. This very low level belief. That the zakah was everything. Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) gave everything in the way of Allah (AJ) and still Allah (AJ) asked, ‘I want the boy. You put so much love on that child. You put so much want in your heart. I want him. Put him on the table.’ Again – because it may open something for somebody after years of describing it – he went to sleep, woke up, and same dream. I want the boy. He say, no, maybe this is maybe a bad dream. I’ll go back to sleep. I want the boy. He realized three times, the dream is coming.
Shaitan Attacked Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) Three Times Like the Three Stones of Jamarat
So, it means when Allah (AJ) keeps sending you a dream, don’t ignore it. After that, coming a hammer on your head. That I want it. Samina wa atana. That, at that level, whatever you’re asking, ya Rabbi, we’re going. He brings the child, and then begins to open a reality for us. That the Jamarat are three shaitans that are going to attack. The first attack was to the prophet, the prophet of Allah (AJ), that, ‘Don’t do it. Don’t listen to what Allah (AJ), don’t Atiullah. Don’t obey Allah (AJ).’
How you can disobey Allah (AJ)? You’re prophet of God. Three times, Allah’s (AJ) rahmah (mercy), prophet one time. Samina wa atana. Allah (AJ) asked, that’s it. The prophet of Allah (AJ) waited for three. So, then these three Jamarats are continuous in our life. Don’t think at any moment you’re not going to be making your Jamarat. Our life is continuously to fight shayateen. So, that to be firm in our belief and continuously moving to what Allah (AJ) wants from us. The game’s never over. There’s no retirement. Retirement is when the grave opens and Allah (AJ) says, ‘Now enter.’ This life is about struggle.
Sayyidatina Hagar (as) Reached Maqamul Iman By Fighting Whispers of Shaitan
So, he passed. He hit his shayateen and said we got to go, my son. Then they begin to open for us, Sayyidina Hagar (as). The shaitan comes to Sayyidina Hagar (as), and says, ‘Do you know what your husband is about to do?’ She represents for us the perfection of the soul. The woman is the perfection of the soul. She’s latif. She is subtle. How you treat your woman is how you treat your soul. If you’re abusive to her, you’re abusive to your soul because under her feet is paradise. If she is abusive to you, then you have problems because your soul is beating your body. But it has a deep reality. That she was abused. She went through torment for that love. That Sayyidina Sarah (as) put a lot of difficulty on Sayyidina Hagar (as).
Even when she had the child, Allah (AJ) left her into the desert. It means she represents a continuous test, continuous test. She’s Maqamul Iman (Station of Faith). That her perfected faith, that istiqam in her firmness and her faith, she waited. The zamzam came. She is the one drinking from the zamzam. As a result, her soul and iman (faith) is perfect. As a result, when the body is been given a test which is Sayyidina Ibrahim (as), shaitan comes to the soul. Don’t listen. Whatever you’re doing, you start to meditate. It says, ‘Don’t listen, don’t listen.’ Don’t listen to where the body is about to do for Allah (AJ) because this is your battle. I have to do what Allah (AJ) wants me to do.
Build Your Soul With Zikrullah and Charitable Acts
My life, we came here with six bags, we got on a plane, and went and arrived here with six bags. The body says, ‘I got to do it. This is what they’re asking me to do.’ Your soul will come and tell you you’re crazy unless it’s filled with iman (faith). She represented iman. She said, ‘A’udhu Billah, don’t even come near me. This is a prophet of Allah (AJ). I am completely respecting and submitting to him. I have faith in his physicality. I have faith in his compass. I have faith in his faith. As a result, you’ll find me to be faithful.’
So, it means that when we build our soul and the practices of our soul, not only you build your body. You just make your body to do prayers and everybody…Islam now is just Jummah. What’s your Islam? We go for Jummah. Okay, that’s your body. What you did for your soul? Soul is zikrullah. Soul are acts and charity for people. Things that you don’t expect anything back. The best zikrullah, the best – Durood e Shareef. It’s a power upon the soul so that the soul becomes so firm in its belief, that whatever the body is ordering it, the soul is agreeing. We are samina wa atana. Go. Let’s go see what Allah (AJ) has for us.
Sayyidina Ismail (as) Represents Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Reaching Maqamul Ihsan
As they’re moving to make their sacrifice, shaitan then came to the boy. That, ‘You know what your Baba is about to do to you?’ Not only the boy cast out the shaitan, but as Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) is going up the hill, he’s petrified. He starting to cry. That this is a tremendous test. The boy is Maqamul Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence). The boy, alayhis salaam, is a representation of Maqamul Ihsan. Islam, Iman, wal Ihsan. The Maqamul Ihsan. Sayyidina Ismail (as) represents Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. It’s from that light Prophet ﷺ coming. Prophet’s ﷺ light coming from Maqamul Ihsan, not from Maqamul Iman. That that boy reassured his father. ‘Ya Baba, that what you’re about to do, you’re trembling. But don’t worry. You’ll find me, inshaAllah, to be peaceful.’
37:102 – “Falamma balagha ma’ahus sa’ya qala ya bunayya inni ara fee almanami annee adhbahuka fanzhur ma dha tara, Qala ya abati if’al ma tu maru, satajidunee inshaAllahu minas Sabireen.” (Surat As-Saffat)
“And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, “O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think. He said, ‘O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, one of the Patient/steadfast.’” (Those Who Set the Ranks, 37:102)
Sayyidina Ismail’s (as) Certainty Allowed His Father to Reach Full Submission
His yaqeen (certainty) more powerful than Sayyidina Ibrahim (as). For a little boy, imagine your child come and tell you, ‘Baba, don’t worry.’ It means I’m seeing things you can’t imagine. In my heart, Allah (AJ) put a tranquility, a sakinah. That the maqam of his yaqeen was so powerful, it was enough to save the body of Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) to taslim (submit). Otherwise, maybe up the mountain, he would have said, ‘I can’t.’ It means that Prophet giving to us: if you build your iman (faith), your body will be able to fulfill Allah’s (AJ) commands. Your Islam, for your physicality. Your iman, to love me more than you love yourself.

Narrated by Sayyidina ‘Umar (as) that he said: “I found myself saying, ‘By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I love you!’ The Prophet (pbuh) said to him, ‘Is it more than your love for your family, O ‘Umar?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He (pbuh) said, ‘Is it more than your love for your wealth, O ‘Umar?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Is it more than your love for yourself, O ‘Umar?’ He said, ‘No.’
The Prophet (pbuh), said, ‘No, O ‘Umar, your faith will not be complete until I become more beloved to you than your own self.’ Sayyidina ‘Umar (as) said: So I went out and thought. Then I returned and shouted, ‘By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, you are more beloved to me than myself.’ The Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘Now, O ‘Umar, now [you got it].’ [Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Hadith #594]
Awliyaullah Calculate Our Age Based on When We Reached Our Reality
Then what from your Islam and your iman? If you build your iman and open up the love of Prophet ﷺ, a child will be born to you. It means you’ll have a new reality that’s been born. That’s why awliyaullah (saints) consider people, if you see them 60 years old, they’re maybe one year old in their eyes. That they reached to their reality just a year ago. Or they haven’t reached to their reality and they consider them still to be like an infant. The age means nothing to them. What means to them is how long ago they reached that boy.
Where Allah (AJ), Fitrat ul Islam, that their form perfected, their soul perfected. Allah (AJ) brought for them, a reality. That reality is now going to be rushd, is going to grow up. As that reality grows up, will begin to command their entire being and perfect their entire Islam, their iman, and their Maqamul Ihsan. Maqamul Ihsan is the certainty of yaqeen where all your worshipness, as if you see Allah (AJ).
Qala ﷺ: “An Ta’bud Allaha, Ka annaka tarahu, fa in lam takun tarahu fa innahu yarak.” [Sahih Bukhari 50]
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) replied, “It is to worship/serve Allah (AJ) as though you behold/see Him; and if you don’t behold/see Him, (know that) He surely Sees you.” [Source: Authentic by Bukhari 50]
If You Truly Love Allah (AJ), You Would Be Running to the Heart of Prophet ﷺ
Where would you see Allah (AJ), we asked. Allah (AJ) says, I’m not in Heavens. So you won’t be seeing Allah (AJ) in Heavens. I’m not on Earth and you’re not going to see Allah (AJ) on Earth. I am in the heart of my believer. Only believer for Allah (AJ) is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
‘An Wahab ibn Munabbeh, Qala Rasulallahi ﷺ, Qala Allah (AJ): “Maa wasi’anee laa samayee, wa la ardee, laakin wasi’anee qalbi ‘Abdi al Mu’min.” [Hadith al Qudsi, Al Ghazali fi al Ihyaa, wa Ibn ‘Arabi fi al Tarajim, Safha 224]
Narrated by Wahab the son of Munabbeh that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said that Allah (AJ) said: “Neither My Heavens nor My Earth can contain Me, but the heart of my Believing Servant.” [Holy Hadith, by Imam al-Ghazali in Al Ihya, and by Ibn ‘Arabi in al Tarajib, Page 224]
So, if you truly love Allah (AJ), you’d be running to the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Only in the heart of Prophet ﷺ, that reality can be witnessed. Whatever reality Allah (AJ) wants to open, mushahada, that you reach to a vision in the heart of Prophet ﷺ. That vision has to come. It means the Hajj for us is continuous. It’s not one trip, but every moment of our life. Ya Rabbi, my body got to confirm this test that’s coming and then build your soul with your tafakkur and your zikr. That as soon as you have a test coming, that you build your soul. With your soul confirms to your body, keep moving.
Sacrifice of Yourself 100%, Not Just 2.5% of Your Wealth
If you develop Maqamul Ihsan, it will also come back and inspire that, ‘Weren’t you supposed to take the way of Prophet ﷺ? Keep going, keep going. You’ll be calm, don’t worry.’ They begin to teach that the sacrifice is not for money anymore. You gave all that money away. The highest level of sacrifice is sacrifice yourself. “Qul inna salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati lillahi Rabbil ‘Aalamin.”
6:162 – “Qul inna salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati lillahi Rabbil ‘Aalamin.” (Surat Al-An’am)
Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my services of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. ” (The Cattle, 6:162)
Their their insan, their Sayyidina Ismail (as) within them, is in perfect and perfection of Holy Qur’an. It does everything according to Allah’s (AJ) will. So, their insan will teach them. That it’s not the anymore about money, but you sacrifice your entire self. So, then pious people are mukhlis because they gave their life in Allah’s (AJ) way. All day and night is in Allah’s (AJ) way; in the way of Prophet ﷺ, in the way of awliyaullah (saints). They gave with their time. They gave with their effort. They gave with their wealth. They gave everything in the way of Allah (AJ) until He wants for them finally, even your physicality is finished and come back home. That is the highest level of our lives to achieve. We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us from these understandings, bless us from these understandings. That it’s not just one time, it’s a lifelong event of living and sacrificing. We’re not the people of 2.5 %. We’re the people of 100% and then give yourself and put yourself upon the table to live a life of service in Allah’s (AJ) way, in Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ way, and at the hands of Ulul Amr.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi sirri surat al-Fatiha.
