Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum

﴾أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ… ﴿٥٩…

4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)

“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Alhamdulilah il-Rabb il-Alameen, wa salaati wa salaam’, Ashraf al-Mursaleen, Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ. Bi madadikum wa nazarikum, Sayyidi, yaa Rasul e Karim, yaa Habib al-Azim. Unzur halana wa ishfalana. Madad, yaa Sayyidi, yaa Sultan al-Awliya, Mashayikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sultan’ Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Haqqani, wa Sultan al-qulubina, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, Madad al-Haqq, yaa Hujud’Allahi, yaa Mukhlis.

Allah (AJ) Gives Our Payday in the First 10 Days of Zul-Hijjah

A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum. And, always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl. And by the Grace of Allah (AJ), that He keeps me within existence. That we took a path in which to be nothing and from the heart of awliyaullah (saints), they come to inspire us about the realities of our way, our deen (religion). And these are the ten most important days of our year. This is the days, what we call payday. One year of travelling in the way of Allah (AJ), and struggling, and our ibadah (worship), our work, from the beginning of Muharram, we start upon the path. And it’s a movement, eternally towards the Divinely presence. And Allah (AJ) grants its pay, its reward, its Divine tajallis (manifestations) on the month of the pilgrimage. From that gathering, awliyaullah come into our lives and begin to teach that Allah (AJ) is with Nabiyeen, Siddiqeen, Shuhada wa Saliheen.

﴾وَمَن يُطِعِ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاء وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا ﴿٦٩

4:69 – “Wa man yuti’ Allaha war Rasola faolayeka ma’al ladheena an’ama Allahu ‘alayhim minan Nabiyeena, was Siddiqeena, wash Shuhadai, was Saliheena wa hasuna olayeka rafeeqan.” (Surat An-Nisa)

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger (pbuh) are in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His Favours/Blessings – of the prophets, the sincere

Imam al-Mursaleen ﷺ is Always Present in the Association of Hajj

And Allah (AJ) says that this is the best of company. So the reality of the holy Ka’bah, and a reminder for ourselves that, that association that taking place, that when you call something Baitullah (House of Allah (AJ)), Allah (AJ) clarifies in Qur’an that, ‘I am with Nabiyeen, Siddiqeen, Shuhada wa Saliheen (Holy Qur’an, 4:69), and these are the best of company.’

So, it means Allah (AJ) is not sitting there, but Allah (AJ) saying that, ‘I am with. From now comes the creation. From the best of creation, and I am with them.’ This means, My tajalli, My emanations, My blessings, all upon that reality, which Nabiyeen ﷺ, Prophet ﷺ. Imam al-Mursaleen, the best of the prophets and messengers. Allah (AJ) describing Prophet ﷺ is there in this association because they want us to understand, the haqqaiq (realities) of it. So that association is taking place. Allah (AJ) want to give the reward always first to Prophet ﷺ, that I’m making it eternally. When the last and the twelfth month of these tajallis come, these lights I made to be dressed upon your holy soul.

Allah’s (AJ) Might & Magnificence Dresses Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

Then for us to understand, it’s like a waterfall. The top of that water, Izzatullah (Allah’s (AJ) Might and Magnificence), it dresses upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. From the reality of Prophet ﷺ dresses then to all the souls of the prophets. 124,000 souls. This is a number of realities. From the souls, it’s like a water fountain now coming down to another level, to the souls of the Sahabi (Companions). Where Prophet ﷺ, my Sahabi, they inherit from the stations of the prophets. From my Ahlul Bayt (as) (holy family of Prophet ﷺ) dressing and blessing upon that tajalli, and then dressing upon the reality of awliyaullah.

So, it means this waterfall is continuously dressing. And then from that emanation of awliyaullah, it goes out towards all of humanity and all those who are going and making their tawaf (circumambulation). Their tawaf is above those of people. The people are on the level of their physicality. Above them are the awliya (saints). So, this is the waterfall, described. Above them, the awliya. Above them, the Sahabah (Companions). Above them, Ahlul Bayt (as). Above them, the prophets, and above all, the Most High, Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And Prophet ﷺ sit, and make like a sama around the lights of Allah (AJ), emanating into his heart. He is the Shamsi Nubuwwa, Shamsul Islam. He is the Sun of every reality. That Allah (AJ) doesn’t appear, but Allah’s (AJ) Izzah and Might appears within the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

Hajj Was Given to This Nation as a Blessing

So the real Hajj (pilgrimage) and the reality of Hajj is that association. That Allah (AJ) destined, Oh you, from awliyaullah, and saliheen, shuhada, that they are ahlul basirah (the people of spiritual vision), they see. Siddiqeen, that they’re connected with the siddiqs (truthful), the turuqs (spiritual paths) are all taking from the hands of Siddiq, and the Siddiq, their hands upon the Nabiyeen, that gather and receive your paycheck. Receive your year’s pilgrimage, its rewards. They want to understand now, the reality of why this Hajj is taking place.

Why Hajj was brought for the nation? Because Allah (AJ) giving a dressing and a blessing upon their association. As a result of their association, then Allah (AJ) said, then invite all the other people. Come at that time of the year and make your Hajj. Make your pilgrimage to this reality. And everything they’re doing upon the Hajj are the stations of faith. But to understand its malakut (heavenly realms), its reality in the world of light is far superior than somebody making a video about the intention of Hajj and how to wash, and how to prepare yourself for your ihram, and how to put a pin upon. It’s nothing to do with the reality of the Hajj. This is all an imitation. That, you watch one time and you understand.

7 Tawafs Represent 7 Realities in 7 Paradises

And the teaching, that these lights, these emanations, these dressings, that Allah’s (AJ) sending upon that association. From the tawaf, that they are making, as soon as Allah (AJ) order their souls like that waterfall, to begin to make tawaf, seven times they pass, and each time is a dress upon the seven names.

And we’ve described before, but we pulled it all together, like a tasbih. Everyone, there are seven paradises. And Allah (AJ) has created a soul of yours in each paradise. It’s like a light. You take a piece of it, put it in this paradise. Take another piece, put it in another paradise. All in the oneness of your soul, but it’s seven realities in seven paradises. When they make tawaf, Allah (AJ) completes His Ni’mat (blessing) upon them. That all the dress and the light of their paradises, each time they complete a tawaf, their reality of that paradise is dressing from the lowest to the highest. That’s why then, these awliyaullah, they must know their seven names in Allah’s (AJ) Divinely presence. That, Who knows himself will know his Lord.

مَنْ عَرَفَ نَفْسَهْ فَقَدْ عَرَفَ رَبَّهُ

“Man ‘arafa nafsahu faqad ‘arafa Rabbahu”

“Who knows himself, knows his Lord.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Hajj is Free For Allah’s (AJ) True Servants – Their Souls Are Invited

That why Prophet ﷺ Hadith. Its reality is for these awliyaullah. From Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum, the real ulul amr (People of the Command).

﴾ياأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ…﴿٥٩

4:59 – “Ya ayyu hal latheena amanoo Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)

“O You who have believed, Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

The one whom they know themself. Where Prophet ﷺ said that, ‘If you know yourself, you’ll know your Lord. And if you don’t know yourself, there’s no way to know your Lord.’ So by that reality, they’re understanding themself. They know themself. They are from ahlul basirah, that their heart is open, their realities are open. That, as soon as they begin their soul’s tawaf and, we said today, they don’t have to spend $20,000 to go there. In dunya (material world), you have to buy your ticket and get your hotel. Allah (AJ) make you to pay a fee for that reality.

But for Allah’s (AJ) servants, it’s free. Their soul is there. They’re invited. As soon as they begin to make the tawaf, Allah (AJ) completing His favours upon their reality, dressing them from their names, their realities in each of the paradises. As soon as their tawaf is finishing, and that reality of that tawaf is dressing upon their soul, Allah (AJ) invite them for Safa wal Marwah. That when they’re moving seven times, they are imitating the realities of bringing the haqqaiq of al-Kawthar (The Fountain of Abundance) into the dunya known as zamzam to you.

7 Times Moving of Safa wal Marwah Connect to 7 Springs of Reality

Sayyidatina Hagar (as), we’ve described in different talks, we make a recap of it. Everything was a reality that Allah (AJ) wanted to bring from Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ reality. Sitna Hagar (as) was thirsty, left in the desert – awliyaullah, angels inspired her by Allah’s (AJ) Will, move seven times. It means they are seven springs because you are making seven tawafs. When the real tawaf (circumambulation) is accepted, Allah (AJ) opens that spring of reality into your soul. When the second tawaf is accepted, Allah (AJ) opens the second spring of that reality.

It means these seven times of moving back and forth is the reality of those springs. So when awliyaullah are moving, Allah (AJ) dressing them from the fountains of Kawthar. Because this is the month of the secret of Kawthar. All the way to the seventh time, when the seventh walk is complete, and the Safa wal Marwah, Allah (AJ) opens for them Fitrat ul Islam that Allah (AJ) make them to reach the reality of their purity. Because we said before, Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum (Qur’an, 4:59). These are in the different Hajj talks.

Sayyidina Ismail (as) & the Reality of Maqamul Ihsan

The ulul amr in this reality was Sayyidina Ibrahim (as). The atiur Rasul was Sayyidina Ibrahim’s (as) wife, Hagar (as). And the atiullah in this ocean of faith is Sayyidina Ismail (as). So Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) played the role of the ulul amr. The prophets are also ulul amr. They take the command of Allah (AJ). When he was commanded in this act of faith, ‘Sacrifice your son.’ With doubt three times coming, ‘Okay, I’ll go.’ Then who obeyed the rasul (messenger)? Was his wife, Hagar (as) because she obeyed Sayyidina Ibrahim (as). So she is obeying the rasul. But who obeyed Allah (AJ)? It was Sayyidina Ismail (as). Because when the rasul was about to cut his head, he said, ‘Don’t worry. InshaAllah, Allah (AJ) make me to be patient. You’ll find me to be patient, baba (father).’

Maqamul Ihsan Gives the Body and Soul What They Require

That this fitrat ul Islam, the reality and the haqqaiq of Maqamul Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence), that when your Islam – Sayyidina Ibrahim (as) – and your iman (faith) – Sitna Hagar (as), the wife – when your body and your soul, the husband and the wife, when they come together, Allah (AJ) makes something new to appear. That child is Maqamul Ihsan. That child is a new creation. That Allah (AJ) said, ‘Not only physically I want you to get together and make children and procreate on this dunya, but with your reality. Meet your reality. Come together with your body and soul.’

Don’t fight with your body and soul and conflict. Nobody can listen to their soul and their soul continuously in a battle with the body, over their body desires, or their soul desires. What Allah (AJ) wants is perfection. Give your body what it requires and don’t be an oppressor to the body. Give what your soul requires. If they come together in perfection and good character, Allah (AJ) says, ‘I’m going to bring a reality for you. This Maqamul Ihsan, the youthful innocence will open for you.’

Awliyaullah Drink From the Kawthar

So, the seventh spring that opens for awliyaullah is the fountains of youth. Because Allah (AJ) want that precious soul of theirs, that there’s now like a youthful innocence. Where the youthful innocence is everything they try to do is pak, is clean. They try to keep their intention clean, their actions clean, their reality to be clean. And Allah’s (AJ) saying, ‘For that reality, you cannot eat and drink from the filthiness of dunya. I give to you from My Kawthar.’ “Atayna kal kawthar.”

﴾إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ﴿١

108:1 – “Inna ‘atayna kal kawthar. ” (Surat Al-Kawthar)

“To thee (O Muhammad) we have granted the Fount (of Abundance).” (The Abundance, 108:1)

This association and majlis of Hajj is the association of the Kawthar. They are gathering to be dressed from Allah’s (AJ) oceans of kathir. Beyond abundant. They say it’s a word that means beyond abundance. Whatever you can think of what Allah (AJ) wants to give between the heavens and the earth, and whatever’s between them, Allah’s (AJ) saying, ‘This is even greater.’ So, that association is an association of the kawthar. They’re all coming to take from the fountains of kawthar. As they are moving back and forth, Allah (AJ) opening the springs of reality within their heart. Until the seventh spring, the realities of the kawthar begin to dress upon them.

Jamarat: Stone the Shaitan Blocking Your Iman

When Allah (AJ) move them to Jamarat and say that, ‘Now stone the shaitan (satan) that blocking you.’ That was then the three stoning is for your Islam, your Iman (Faith), and your Maqamul Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence). There’s a shaitan blocking your Islam and your ability to submit. There’s many shaitans blocking your iman. And the ability to love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself. What was iman? Because all these come together. Iman and the station of faith is to love yourself, love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself.

فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ

“Fawal ladhi Nafsi bi yadihi, la yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi.”

Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said, “By Him in Whose Hands is my life, none of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father and his children.”

That’s why they’re all with Nabiyeen (prophets). Because they love Prophet ﷺ more than they love themselves. Hadith of Prophet ﷺ, ‘You’ll be with who you love.’ They understood this is only achieved by muhabbat and love.

قَالَ رَسُول اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم: الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَب

Qala Rasulullah (saws): “Almar o, ma’a man ahab.”

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “One is with those whom he loves.”

Opening of the Reality of Atiullaha, wa Atiur Rasul, wa Ulil Amre Minkum

As a result of this immense love, Allah (AJ) begin to dress them and bless them. That, when they’re fighting against that reality, Allah (AJ) open for them on the stoning. That I’m going to open for you, the reality of Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amr.

﴾ ياأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ…﴿٥٩

4:59 – “Ya ayyu hal latheena amanoo Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)

“O You who have believed, Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

The ulul amr (saints) being the closest to you, that your obedience to the people of authority, the heavenly authority. That your life is to be obedient to them, to be with them, to follow them.

Then Allah (AJ) open the reality of being obedient to the presence of Prophet ﷺ. If they’re accomplished, their reality, their cleanliness, their purity, Prophet ﷺ will invite them to Madinatul Munawwara. Come, and I’m going to open for you my personal presence so that you become from the people of atiur Rasul. That’s a huge ni’mat (blessing). When Prophet ﷺ invites your soul, that, ‘Come to Madinatul Munawwara and I’ll invite you into My presence. That you’ll be from those who are obedient to Me. You hear Me, you see Me, and you follow Me.’ From that maqam (station) into the reality of the heart of Prophet ﷺ begins the opening of Atiullaha. Because the only way to follow Allah (AJ) is in the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. If you are not in the heart of Prophet ﷺ, you are impossible to be obedient to Allah (AJ). This means this whole of Hajj are all these realities that Allah (AJ) wants to open upon the soul. That is the real association.

Arafah is the Mountain of Rahmah

When they’re going on Arafah, jabal ar-Rahmah, that was the summation of their whole year’s journey. That your whole year of suffering, your whole year of being attacked, your whole year of coming under difficulty and you stay quiet, and you show the best of manners, best of character. You have been sacrificed that whole year. That’s why we know that in all our testing – if you pass your testing and you are patient and you are calm and you don’t lose your faith. You don’t open your mouth and become something crazy. Allah (AJ) wants to give us a ransom because it’s the mountain of rahmah (mercy).

Our Sacrifice is Through Enduring Continuous Difficulties

So, awliyaullah are coming now. When they move towards that, that mountain of Arafah. Arafah is the whole of this reality. That, line up. If you were good in your testing is not a one-time zabiha. That would be very easy. But it’s a continuous stabbing, continuous difficulty, continuous hardship, continuous testing. That in all your testing, you kept the best of character, you have been sacrificed, Allah (AJ) will exchange that difficulty for a tremendous ransom. It means Allah (AJ) complete His Ni’mat (blessing) upon His servant. So, it means they are waiting for Allah (AJ), ‘Ya Rabbi, complete Your favours upon us from the difficulty that we incur and we took. Grant us from Your oceans of rahmah and mercy.’ Where Allah (AJ) described, ‘No eye has seen and no ear has heard. There’s no way to understand of what oceans I’m going to dress upon your soul, what blessings I’m going to dress upon your soul.’

Where are You going? Seek to Find One of the 124,000 Representatives

We pray that Allah (AJ) keep us with Nabiyeen, Siddiqeen, Shuhada wa Saliheen.

4:69 – “Wa man yuti’ Allaha war Rasola faolayeka ma’al ladheena an’ama Allahu ‘alayhim minan Nabiyeena, was Siddiqeena, wash Shuhadai, was Saliheena wa hasuna olayeka rafeeqan.” (Surat An-Nisa)

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger (pbuh) are in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His Favours/Blessings – of the prophets, the sincere Truthful, the witnesses to the truth (who testify), and the Righteous, and excellent are those as companions.” (The Women, 4:69)

And then dress us from their realities, dress us from these blessings. That’s why Sayyidina Jalalludin Rumi (Q) was telling people, ‘Where you going?’

ای قـوم به حج رفتـه کجـائید کجـائیـد
معشوق همیجاسـت بیـائیــد بیـائیـد
معشوق تـو همسـایـه دیوار به دیـوار
در بادیه سر گشته شما در چه هوائیـد

Ay qawme ba hajj rafta, kujayeed, kujayeed
Ma’shooq haminjaast, be aayeed, be ayeed
Mashooq e tu hamsaya e diwaar ba diwaar
Dar baadiya sargashta shuma dar chi hawayeed

O you who have gone on pilgrimage to Kabah
Where are you? Where are you?
The Beloved is right here
O’ come back now, come back!
Your beloved is your next-door neighbor
Lost in the desert,
What are you thinking?

Other than your $20,000 ticket? If you don’t understand manners and you don’t understand, ‘Seek your life, to find one of these 124,000.’ Not say, ‘I follow one and curse the other 124.’ Find one of these 124,000. They are being dressed by that every year. Their soul is there; wherever they are, Allah (AJ) dressing upon their reality. If you eat with them, drink with them, pray with them, sit with them, whatever Allah (AJ) dressing upon them is dressing upon anyone in their precincts.

Visiting the Physical Ka’bah Does Not Instantly Purify Us

And was telling them, that, ‘Where are you going?’ The Ka’bah that you’re going to is here. If you don’t have the manners and you go into that Ka’bah and think that you did something holy and you came back to fight one of the real Ka’bah. What was the purpose? Because people don’t know. They go thinking that they became purified. They come back and all of a sudden they start to talk bad. What if that person you’re insulting, attacking, and being rude to is from one of those Ahlul Bayt (as)?

Keep the Best of Manners to be Guided to the Real Hajj

Was it when we say, Ahlul Bayt (as), what house Prophet ﷺ talking about? The house down in Madina? Prophet ﷺ is inviting us to his house that Allah (AJ) gave. The house that Allah (AJ) gave to me. If you love me more than you love yourself, you have the best of character, then I’m going to bring you into my house, and you will be from my household. So, then the turuqs (spiritual paths) came to teach the best of manners. If you have good manners, good character, then they invite you for the real Hajj. But if the manners are bad, then the purpose of that Hajj was only to come back and fight and attack people. Allah (AJ) save us from bad character, inshaAllah, and guide our hearts and our character towards what makes Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ happy.

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
