Holy Qur’an & Divinely Power Emanate from Muhammadan Heart
From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi
A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
InshaAllah, always asking to enter into Allah (AJ) Oceans of Mercy and always a reminder to myself to be nothing, to be nothing, to be nothing. Ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl. If not for the grace and rahmah (mercy) of Allah (AJ) and the love and nazar (gaze) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and for the nazar and the bounty that awliyaullah (saints) have been given, that Allah (AJ) is saving us, blessing us, and forgiving us. Allah (AJ) is dressing us from Allah’s (AJ) Oceans of rahmah and mercy.
Laylatul Qadr in the Last 10 Odd Nights of Ramadan
A reminder in these mubarak nights, in this holy and blessed month of Ramadan Kareem that we are entering into the Qadr nights. Prophet ﷺ advised for us in the last odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan is Laylatul Qadr. In this Qiyamul Layl that we are experiencing for 30 days and everyone is praying tarawih (night prayer in Ramadan). Qiyamul Layl is the night vigil. That the last odd nights to be dressed from Laylatul Qadr.
‘An ‘Ayisha (ra) anna Rasulallahi ﷺ qala: “Taharraw Laylatul Qadri fil witri minal ‘ashri al awaakhiri min Ramadan.”
Our Lady ‘Ayisha (as) reported that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Search for the Night of Power in the odd nights among the last ten nights of Ramadan.” [Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 2017 & Sahih Muslim 1169]
Reminding myself from the teaching of awliyaullah, from Mawlana Shaykh’s teaching, that you have to remember constantly to think outside of the box. The box in which awliyaullah (saints) are reminding us is this horrible brain. A brain that is a piece of flesh inside a bone that has not seen anything, but it tells you everything. Everything is a lie that comes from that brain. It is like going to somebody who hasn’t seen anything and getting information all the time. That person constantly telling you everything. So Allah (AJ) is saying, ‘This life is but a delusion to you.’ That you are taking the advice of the head but it has seen nothing. It is completely locked in a closet, connected by nerves to some more meat on the outside called the eyes.
“…And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of deception/delusion.” (The Family of Imran, 3:185)
Heart of the Believer is House of Allah (AJ)
Allah (AJ) is teaching through Prophet ﷺ, “Bismillah ar Rahman ar Raheem. Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum,” (Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…”(Quran 4:59) That you take the way of the heart. The heart which is ‘qalbi mu’min baytullah.’ That Allah (AJ) says, ‘Your house and your heart can be My House.’
Qala Rasulallahi ﷺ qala Allah (AJ): “Qalb al mu’min baytur rabb.” [Hadith al Qudsi]
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said that Allah (AJ) said, “The heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.” (Holy Hadith)
The big reality is that you can only find Me through your heart. And if that house, your heart is clean, it becomes My House. It becomes My House and who is going to occupy that heart? Then the Hadith of Prophet ﷺ. Prophet ﷺ was teaching his companions that, ‘You have to love me more than you love yourself,’ and that is the darajat (spiritual rank) of iman, of faith.
‘An Anas ibn Malik (ra) qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ “La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan nasi ajma’yeen.”
[Sahih Muslim, Hadith 44, wa Al Bukhari, Kitabul Iman, Hadith 15]
Narrated by Anas son of Malik (ra) that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children, and all mankind.”
[Authentic by Muslim, Hadith 44 & by Al Bukhari, Book of Faith, Hadith 15]
Allah (AJ) Wants the Love of Prophet ﷺ in His House
If I want my heart to be the house of Allah (AJ), Allah (AJ) says: If that’s going to be My house, I am going to put My Most Beloved to occupy that house. It means that it will fill the house with the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That is a true house of Allah (AJ). That its structure, the qalb (heart) is for the love of Allah (AJ). “In kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni…”
3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumullahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunobakum wallahu Ghaforur Raheem.” (Surat Ali-Imran)
“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Family of Imran, 3:31)
Allah (AJ) is teaching that, “Tell them if they love Me, to follow the Prophet ﷺ. Yuhbibkumullahu.‘ Then Allah (AJ) says, ‘I will love you.’ So, the heart is the house of Allah (AJ) and Allah (AJ) wants the only occupant within that House to be Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ! So, Prophet ﷺ comes to complete the equation.
There is always La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. That this way is based on La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.
“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ”
“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”
Allah (AJ) is saying, ‘Your heart is My House but that House has to be clean and purified. That House is only acceptable to Allah (AJ) when the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is fragrancing it, it is filling it because that one is Allah’s (AJ) servant. That is Allah’s (AJ) Beloved.
Where Did Holy Qur’an Come from?
Then they begin to teach if you are looking for Laylatul Qadr, then where was the Qur’an emanating from? From Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The “Qaf wal Qur’anil Majeed.”
50:1 – “Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed.” (Surat Qaf)
“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an.” (The Letter Qaf, 50:1)
Allah (AJ) is saying that Qaf is the Qudra and the Quwwah (power) in the Divinely Oceans of Power. If you are in search of this Qaf and Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Qudra, look to where the Qur’an, Qaf wal Quran al-Majeed is. He is directing us that look to the Qur’an. And then where Qur’an came from eternally?
We Are Heavenly Beings Here for an Earthly Experience
They want you to understand that you are not only people of dunya (material world), but we are trying to acknowledge that we are from the malakut (heavenly realm). We are from the heavens and sent for an earthly experience. We are not earthly people looking for a heavenly experience. We are heavenly beings. Allah (AJ) is reminding that you came from the malakut.
We are Drop from the Ocean of Souls
You came from the Oceans of Light, the Oceans of Souls where there is no form. In that Ocean of Light, as soon as you enter into that Ocean of Light, there is no more you. The drop that goes into the ocean becomes the ocean.
That’s from tawheed (oneness), the first usool is laa sharik (no partner). That ocean from La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ can never be you and Allah (AJ). Allah (AJ) has no partner. There is no likeness unto Allah (AJ). So, it means that ocean which all the souls come from and returning to is known as Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. That completes for us La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.
(Surat Al-Luqman)
“Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.” (Luqman, 31:28)
Our Honour is in Our Soul, Not the Body
So, your soul is coming from that ocean, it came out as a drop. It gave itself an identity. Allah (AJ) took only a small drop of that and put it into the body. Then the body became something big with an ego, thinking it comes from somewhere special by itself. That it has its own ocean from Allah (AJ).
Allah (AJ) keeps reminding us, ‘O you even come from a sperm, a despised fluid.’ Why are you making yourself so big in your ego? That body of yours comes from nothing and it goes back to nothing. The honour of you is your soul, not the body.
77:20 – “Alam Nakhluqukkum min maa in Maheen.” (Surat Al-Mursalat)
“Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable (despised)?” (The Emissaries, 77:20)
That is why Allah (AJ) is constantly putting down the body. That that physicality came from a despised fluid, that you have to make wudu (ablution) once you touch it. Don’t think too much about your body. Don’t think about the importance of your body. Don’t think that when you are praying for Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power), you are going somewhere with your body. Allah (AJ) is saying, ‘That body, don’t put any value on it. It is going back like a rotten tomato, back to the earth.’
Our Souls Come From the Oceans of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ
Your soul, “Wa laqad karamna bani adam.” That soul is a noble soul, is an honoured soul which comes from the oceans of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. Allah (AJ) loves our souls. Prophet ﷺ loves our souls.
17:70 – “Wa laqad karramna bani adama…” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam…” (The Night Journey, 17:70)
When You are Oppressor to Yourself, Run to Prophet ﷺ
That is why they are teaching that when you are an oppressor to yourself, surah 4, verse 64. When you are an oppressor to yourself, that is why awliyaullah (saints) are teaching. Mawlana Shaykh (Q) are constantly reminding that you are entering the Baab of Maghfirah and forgiveness and above that baab is written from the Qur’an majeed. Allah (AJ) is telling the Prophet ﷺ that when they are oppressors to themselves, they have to come to you to ask Allah’s (AJ) forgiveness and then ask the forgiveness of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Why? Because he is the owner of that ocean.
4:64 – “Wa law annahum idh zhalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfaro Allaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasolu lawajado Allaha tawwaban raheema.” (Surat An-Nisa)
“And if, when they had oppressed/wronged themselves, they had but come to you (O’ Muhammad (pbuh)], and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the messenger (pbuh), they would have found Allah Acceptor of Repentance/Forgiving, Merciful.” (The Women, 4:64)
Ahlul Basirah Know Where Their Soul Came From & Where It’ll Return
Asking My [Allah’s] forgiveness because they have come against My orders. Asking Prophet’s ﷺ forgiveness because you are coming from the ocean of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. What you do wrong, you are doing to the amanat, the trust that Allah (AJ) gave, that Prophet ﷺ gave.
If you don’t know where you came from, you have no idea where you are going back to. So, you become like (someone) retarded and a jahl (ignorant) and you don’t know what you are doing. Ma’rifah (gnosticism) and the way of awliyaullah (saints) is they know. They are Ahlul Basirah (people of spiritual vision), their hearts are open. You can’t compare their knowledge with people whose hearts are not open. They have no idea where they came from and they have absolutely no idea where they are going back to. InshaAllah, Allah (AJ) is Ghafoor ur Raheem, (The All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful). But whom Allah (AJ) grants and whom Allah (AJ) blesses, they come into our lives and teach us, ‘No, no, you are going back to that light.’
Holy Qur’an is Emanating From the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power), Allah (AJ) is teaching your soul is going back into that ocean. That ocean has a qalb (heart), has a center of power. Look to the Qur’an and they say, oh, Suratul Yaseen (Chapter 36) is the heart of Holy Qur’an.
It means Prophet ﷺ is the heart. From the heart of Sayyidina YaSeen alayhi salaatu salaam, Holy Qur’an is emitting. It’s a qudra and Allah (AJ) describes the Qur’an is the power for all the universe. Everything that is coming into existence is from the power of Holy Qur’an. Everything going out of existence is from the power of Holy Qur’an. That Holy Qur’an is eternally emitting power to where? To the heart of Prophet’s ﷺ soul. [Img 1]
We Knock at the Door of Propeht ﷺ, the Mercy to the Creation
When you lose the understanding of your form, (say) ya Rabbi, that this form is jahl (ignorant). This form has only brought me trouble. This form is nothing but rotten. Ya Rabbi (O my Lord), let me to break the understanding of my form. When you pray, and say “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Great), ask, ‘Ya Rabbi, let me just to be light and go back into the Oceans of Light, where this soul belongs. To go back to its sahib, back to its owner in that ocean, ya Rabbi. As my soul is swimming in that salah (daily prayer), ya Rabbi, I am asking specifically to go into the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. For my light to go back into that ocean, to go back into the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Knocking on the heart of Prophet ﷺ, Ya Fattah ya Quloob (O opener of the hearts). Ya Wahhab. Ya Wahhab. Ya Wahhab. Ya musabbibal asbab, ya mufattihal abwab, ya muqallibul qulubi wal absar. Ya Dalilal mutahayyirin…Ya Dalilal mutahayyirin because I am bewildered. I am knocking on your door.’
“Ya Wahhab. Ya Wahhab. Ya Wahhab. Ya musabbibal asbab, ya mufattihul abwab, ya muqallibul qulubi wal absar. Ya Dalilal mutahayyirin, ya Ghiyathal mustaghithin, ya Hayyu ya Qayyum, ya dhalJalali wal Ikram. Wa ufawwidu amri illAllah, innAllaha basirun bil ‘ibad.
“O Bestower! O Bestower! O Bestower! O Originator of causes! O Opener of doors! O Tuner (Changer) of hearts and eyes! O Guide of the perplexed! O Succour for those who seek Your aid! O Living! O Self-Subsisting One! O (You who are) possessed of Majesty and Bounty! I entrust my affair unto Allah. Truly, Allah is aware of His servants.”
Who knocks at the door of Prophet ﷺ? When Allah (AJ) describes, “Wa ma arsalnaka rahmatan lil aalameen.” That, ‘We would have not sent that mercy but he is complete mercy for creation. I would not have brought that treasure to this filthy existence, except that it is a mercy for all the nations.’ ‘Aalameen, for every universe in creation, Prophet ﷺ is that mercy.
21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatal lil’alameen.” (Surat Al-Anbiya)
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad (pbuh)], except as a mercy to the worlds/creation.” (The Prophets, 21:107)
The Movement of Salah Forms the Name of Sayyidina Ahmad ﷺ
When our soul is praying and knocking on that door. Worshipness is only for Allah (AJ), but to know my soul is always with my imam (spiritual leader). My soul is always with Prophet ﷺ. So much so that Allah (AJ) says, ‘Even your form, when you make salah, I don’t really want to see you. You just copy Ahmad alayhi salaatu salaam. You make your alif (standing), you make your ha (when doing ruku), and make your sajda (prostration) as a meem , and attahiyaat as a daal. Everything about us is emulating Prophet ﷺ. With all of that, you are moving and spelling Sayyidina Ahmad ﷺ and sending your soul back into that ocean.
Laylatul Qadr – 27 is the Door into the Heart of Prophet ﷺ
We are asking Prophet ﷺ, ‘Please open your door and let my soul to return back. Intercede for me. Pray for me. I have asked Allah’s (AJ) forgiveness. Allah (AJ) ordered to go to your door, asking for your forgiveness and dress us from your mercy. Dress us from your ‘Azhimah (magnificence). Dress us from everything you want to give to us, bless us and present us to Allah (AJ), pure and purified.’
We pray that Allah (AJ) opens more understanding for us as we prepare for Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) on the 27th of Ramadan. Sabi’ wal ‘ishrin (27 in Arabic), for the secret that is contained within 2 and 7. That is a door into that Divinely Presence. It is a door into the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. We are asking Allah (AJ) for our mi’raj (ascension) to the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Pounding on the door of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, that he opens. And the ulul albab, the guardians of that door, to open that reality and the souls to enter.
Every Amr of Allah Comes to the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
That reality, Allah (AJ) describes, “Kulli amr.” Every amr (command), every authority, every ‘izzah (honour) is moving into that reality.
97:4 – “Tanazzalul malaikatu war Roh, fiha beizne Rabbihim min kulle amr.” (Surat Al-Qadr)
“The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every Command/affair.” (The Power 97:4)
Where is every amr coming to? If Allah (AJ) is sending Qur’an to the heart of Prophet’s ﷺ light, where do you think every amr is coming? Every order of Allah (AJ) comes to the heart of Prophet ﷺ. Allah’s (AJ) greatness is Holy Qur’an. Everything else must be emanating also from the heart of Prophet ﷺ.
That moving into that reality and asking our souls to be dressed from that reality, be blessed from that reality. To be in the company of awliyaullah who Mawlana Shaykh is like a rocket. That by keeping their company, by keeping their hudur (presence), by keeping their nazar (gaze) and focusing upon them. Ya awliyaullah that keep your nazar upon us. That you are like a rocket into that presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That dress us from that light, bless us from that light. Swshhh, they take you straight into that presence, inshaAllah. We pray that Allah (AJ) opens for us the lights and the power and the reality of Holy Qur’an and Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power), inshaAllah.
Subhaana rabbika rabbil izzati `amma yasifoon wa salaamun `alal mursaleen wal hamdulillahi rabbil `aalameen.
