The Head Locks and Blocks the Heart!!
We can have physical understandings; and then the guides begin to remind us that: transcend the physical, begin to open up the heart. When they say ‘Open the mind’, for us it is actually close your mind and open your heart. It’s your mind that is causing the problems; it’s the mind that’s blocking the understanding and says, ‘No, no, I understand this,’ and puts a lock and a block.

So they teach us first zikr: La ilaha illallah, there is nothing but Allah, there is nothing but God, there is nothing but the Divine. Means La ilaha illallah: the la means no head. Shut the faculty of the head and open the reality of the heart. The heart is the house of the soul and the timeless, eternal reality where the heart has infinite capacity for understanding. Mind is very limited, based on conditions based on experiences.

|اپنے دل کو کھولیں ، کیونکہ دماغ دل کو بند کر دیتا ہے|

ہماری سمجھ ظاہری ہو سکتی ہے اور مشائخ ہمیں یہ یاد دلاتے ہیں کہ ظاہر سے اوپر اُٹھ جایئں ،اپنے دل کو کھولنے کی کوشش کریں۔ جب لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اپنے 'دماغ کو کھولیں'، تو ہمارے لیے اِس بات کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اپنا دماغ بند کریں اور اپنا دل کھولیں۔ یہ آپ کا دماغ ہی ہے جو مسائل پیدا کر رہا ہے ؛ یہ دماغ ہے جو سمجھ کو روک رہا ہے اور کہتا ہے کہ،’ نہیں، نہیں،میری یہ سمجھ ہے‘ ، ایک تالا اور ایک بند سا لگا دیتا ہے

تو ہمیں پہلا ذکر لا الہ الا اللہ کا سکھایا جاتا ہے، کچھ نہیں ہے سوائے اللہ کے ، خدا کے سوا کچھ نہیں ، الہ کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے۔ اِس کا مطلب ہے لا الہ الا اللہ! لا الہ الا اللہ کا مطلب سر(دماغ) کا نہ ہونا۔ سر کے استعمال کو بند کر دیں اور دل کی حقیقت کو کھولیں۔ دل روح کا مسکن اور لازوال ، ابدی حقیقت ہے جہاں دل کے پاس سمجھنے کی لامحدود صلاحیت ہے وہاں دماغ تجربات اور حالات کو بنیاد رکھتے ہوئے محدود ہے۔
