سفرِمعراج میں حضرت سیدنا محمد (ﷺ) کا رمضان کے فرشتے سے ملنا۔
آنحضور ﷺ فرماتے ہیں: " میں نے (مقام) سدرۃ میں دوسرے فرشتوں سے زیادہ جلیل القدر فرشتہ دیکھا۔وہ لاکھ سال کی مسافت (سفر) جتنا پھیلا ہوا تھا۔ اس فرشتے کے ستر ہزار سر تھے۔ ہر سر پر ستر ہزار چہرے تھے۔ ہر چہرے پر ستر ہزار مُنہ تھے۔ اور ہر ایک سر ستر ہزار چادروں سے ڈھکا ہوا تھا ۔ ان میں سے ہر لباس پر لاکھ ، لاکھ موتی سجے تھے۔ ان میں سے ہر ایک موتی اتنا بڑا تھا کہ اسکے درمیان ایک سمندر دکھائی دیتا تھا جس میں مچھلیاں تیر رہی تھیں۔ ان کی پشت پر کلمہ توحید لکھا گیا تھا:

لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُولُ اللہِ

یہ فرشتہ اللہ کی تسبیح کرنے میں مصروف ہے ، ایک ہاتھ اپنے سر پر رکھتا ہے اور ایک ہاتھ اپنی پشت پر رکھتا ہے ۔ اس کی آواز ایسی خوبصورت کہ عرشِ الہیٰ جھوم اُٹھتا ۔ میں نے جبرائیل ؑسے اس فرشتے کے متعلق پوچھا کہ وہ فرشتہ کون تھا۔ اور اسؑ نے جواب عرض کیا ‘اللہ عزوجل نے اس فرشتے کو آدم علیہ السلام سے دو ہزار سال پہلے تخلیق کیا تھا'۔ میں نے پھر پوچھا کہ وہ اُس وقت تک کہاں رہا اور اس کی رہائش گاہ کہاں ہے؟ جبرائیلؑ نے عرض کی ، 'جنت میں عرش کے دائیں طرف ایک جگہ ہے ، یہی اس فرشتے کا ٹھکانہ ہے۔ وہاں سے اِسے ادھر لایا گیا ہے۔'

رمضان کا مُتَبَّرِّکْ فرشتہ

حضور ﷺ فرماتے ہیں:
میں اس(فرشتے) کے پاس تشریف لے گیا اور اُسے سلام کیا اور وہ میرے سلام کے جواب میں اُٹھ کھڑا ہوا۔ پھر اس نے اپنے پروں کو پھیلایا اور سارے آسمان اور زمین ان پروں کی وسعت سے ڈھک گئے ۔پھر اُس نے میرے چہرہ مبارک کو بوسہ دی اور عرض کیا، ‘آپ (ﷺ) کو اور آپ (ﷺ) کی امت کو مبارک ہو '۔

اللّہ تعالٰی نے حکم فرمایا ہے کہ آپ (ﷺ) کی امت کو ایک بہت ہی مقدس ، برکت والا مہینہ مل سکتا ہے تاکہ وہ اُن کے گناہوں کو معاف فرمائے۔یہ مقدس مہینہ رمضان کا مہینہ ہے اور یہ آپ (ﷺ) اور آپ (ﷺ ) کی امت کیلئے ایک تحفہ ہے۔اس کی خاطر آپ (ﷺ) کی قوم کو معافی ملے گی۔ مجھے آج رات یہاں آپ (ﷺ) کو یہ بڑی خوشی (بشارت ) سُنانے کیلئے بھیجا گیا ہے۔ "

حضور ﷺ فرماتے ہیں:

"تب میں نے دیکھا کہ اس کے سامنے دو صندوق ( ڈبے ) پڑے ہوئے ہیں۔
ان میں سے ہر ایک کیلئے ایک روشنی کی(نورانی) چابی تھی۔

میں نے اُس فرشتے سے پوچھا کہ اِن صندوقوں میں کیا ہے۔ اُس نے عرض کی ، ‘ان صندوق میں سے ایک خانے میں آپ ﷺ کی امت کیلئے جہنم سے رہائی کے خطوط ہیں، اُن کے لئے جو رمضان کے پورے مہینے میں، نئے چاند کے نکلنے تک ، قیامت تک روزہ رکھتے ہیں۔‘

ایک مختلف روایت کے مطابق ، فرشتے نے عرض کی:

"رمضان میں، ہر روز افطار کے وقت (روزہ کھولنے کے وقت ) اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں میں سے چھ لاکھ روزے داروں کو جہنم سے آزاد فرماتا ہے ۔

جب جمعہ کا دن آتا ہے ، وہ چوبیس گھنٹوں میں ہر گھنٹے چھ لاکھ دوزخیوں کو جہنم کی آگ سے نجات دلاتا ہے ، جب تک شب قدر نہیں آ جاتی۔ اُس بابرکت رات میں — یعنی چوبیس گھنٹوں میں رات اور دن کے دوران — ہر گھنٹے کے شروع ہوتے ہی اللہ تعالی اپنے بندوں کو جہنم سے آزاد کرتا ہے, اس تعداد میں جتنی تعداد میں اُس نے مقدس مہینے کے آغاز سے آزاد کیے، جمعہ کے دن کو ملا کر۔ رمضان المبارک کے آخری دن ، افطار کے وقت ، اللہ تعالی اپنے بندوں کو اس تعداد میں آزاد کرتا ہے جتنی تعداد میں اُس نے پورے مہینے کے دوران آزاد کیے، جمعہ کے دن اور شب قدر کو ملا کر۔ "

حضور اکرم ( ﷺ) فرماتے ہیں،

فرشتے نے مجھے بتایا کہ دوسرے صندوق میں یہ قیمتی تحفہ ہے:

قیامت کے دن ، آپ (ﷺ) کی امت کے ستر ہزار افراد بغیر پوچھ گچھ یا حساب کے جنت میں داخل کیے جائیں گے۔ اُن کی آزادی کے سرٹیفکیٹ اس صندوق میں موجود ہیں۔ اُن ستر ہزار کے علاوہ ، ان میں سے ہر ایک کے ستر ہزار دوستوں اور رشتوں داروں اور دوسرے نافرمان مسلمانوں کو رہائی دی جائے گی۔

اُنہیں بھی بغیر حساب رہا کیا جائے گا اور جنت کے باغات میں جانے کی اجازت مل جائے گی۔

اس صندوق میں ان سب کے رہائی کے خطوط ہیں۔ طُـوْبَى, آپ کو اور آپ کی امت کو خوشخبری ، اوہ رسول اللہ (ﷺ).

"طُـوْبَىٰ‎ " کی اصطلاح سے مطلب تھا کہ اوہ رسول اللہ (ﷺ) ، اہل جنت کی تمام ان گنت اور بے حد نعمتوں میں ، طُـوْبَى کے درخت کی نعمتیں آپ (ﷺ) اور آپ (ﷺ ) کی امت کیلئے محفوظ ہیں۔

یہ اصطلاح استعارہ (میٹافور) ہے ؛ ایک حصہ اصل میں تمام کی علامت ہے ، اور طُـوْبَىٰ‎ کے درخت کے بارے میں بات کرنا دراصل پورے آسمانی عالم کی خوشیوں ( نعمتوں) کی علامت ہے۔ اُوپر ( پیراگراف میں ) اس کا معانی ، " طُـوْبَىٰ " جنت کا ایک درخت ہے۔ تاہم ، لفظ "طُـوْبَىٰ" (گرائمر میں) لفظ 'اطیاب' کی مونس (نسائی feminine ) شکل ہے (جس کا مطلب بہتر ، زیادہ عمدہ)۔ اس کی تشریح اس طرح کی جاسکتی ہے۔

میں آپ (ﷺ) کو اور آپ (ﷺ) کی قوم کو بشارت (خوشخبری، مبارکباد ) دیتا ہوں۔ وہ لوگ جو دنیا میں اچھے کام کرنے میں دن گذارتے ہیں اور اچھے انداز میں اپنا وقت گزارتے ہیں؛ جو ساری زندگی اچھے کام کرتے ہیں ، اور جب وہ اپنے زندگی کے اختتام پر پہنچیں گے تو وہ اپنی امانت ایمان کی روشنی میں لوٹائیں گے ، کلمہ توحید پڑھتے ہوئے؛ ان کی قبر میں فرشتے منکر نکیر کے سوالات آسان بنا دے جائیں گے اور جن کی قبریں جنت کے باغ سے مشابہ ہوں گی جس میں وہ راحت پائیں گے۔ جو قیامت میں اکھٹے ہونے کے دن حمد کے جھنڈے تلے جمع ہوں گے اور جو عرش معلیٰ کے سائے میں بےحد خوشنودی حاصل کریں گے۔ جن کی کتاب(نامہ اعمال ) دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گی اور ان کا حساب کتاب آسان ہوگا۔ وہ ان کے ساتھ پل صراط پار کریں گے جو اس کو پار کرنے والوں میں اول ہونگے اور جو اللہ تعالی کے فضل و کرم سے آزادانہ طور پر جنت میں داخل ہوں گے— بغیر پوچھ گچھ یا فیصلے کے؛ جنہیں تمام نعمتوں سے میٹھی نعمت رب کی خوبصورت دید الہی کا اعزاز حاصل ہوگا ؛ اور اس طرح ان کی حتمی خواہش پوری ہو جائے گی—یہ بشارتیں ہیں جو میں آپ (ﷺ ) کو اور آپ (ﷺ) کی امت کو سناتا ہوں، اے ہمارے آقا سیدنا محمد(ﷺ)۔

Angel Ramadan account from the Isra wal Miraj of Sayedena Muhammad {S}

“I saw an angel at the Sidra greater than all the other angels I had seen. He measured a thousand times thousand years’ wayfaring distance. This angel had seventy thousand heads. Every head had seventy thousand faces. On every face there were seventy thousand mouths. And each head was covered with seventy thousand cloths. Each one of these coverings was embellished with one thousand times thousand pearls. Each of these pearls was so great that there appeared a sea in its midst in which fish were swimming. Upon their backs was written the Kalimat-ut-Tawhid, the Declaration of Unity:

LA ILAHA ILL’ALLAH, MUHAMMADAN RASULULLAH.

“This angel engaged in exaltation of the Lord, placing one hand upon his head and one hand behind his back. The beauty of his voice was such that it caused a commotion at the Divine Throne itself. I asked Jibra’il to tell me who that angel was and he said, ‘The Lord Almighty created this angel two thousand years before He created Adam.’ I then asked where he had been all this time and where was his place of dwelling. Jibra’il replied, ‘In Paradise there is a place to the right of the Divine Throne, that is the abode of this angel. From there he was brought here.’

Angel Ramadan, the Blessed

“I went up to him and greeted him and he rose in answer to my Salams. Then he spread his wings, and all the heavens and the Earth were covered by their expanse. He then kissed my face and said, ‘Good tidings to you, and to your nation!

The Lord Almighty has decreed that your nation might have a singularly blessed month so that He might forgive them their sins.

This holy month is the month of Ramadan and it is meant as a gift for you and your nation.

For its sake your nation will find forgiveness. I have been sent here this very night to announce to you this great gladness.’

Then I saw two boxes standing before him.
On each of them there was a key of light.

I asked that angel what was inside of those boxes. He told me, ‘In one of these boxes there are the letters of release from Hellfire for those among your nation who fast the whole month of Ramadan until the new moon, up till the Day of Judgment.’

According to a different narration, the angel is to have said, “Every day of Ramadan,
at the time of Iftar (the breaking of the fast), the Lord Almighty frees from Hellfire six hundred thousand of His servants who have fasted.

When Jum’a (Friday) has come, He frees six hundred thousand prisoners every hour for twenty-four hours from Hellfire until the Night of Power has come.

On that blessed night, that is to say, during the twenty-four hours making up that night and day, at the beginning of every hour the Lord frees from Hell as many of His servants as He has freed since the beginning of the holy month, including the Jum’a days.

The last day of Ramadan, at the time of Iftar (the breaking of the fast), the Lord sets free as many of His servants as He has freed during the whole month, including the Jum’a days and the Night of Power.”

The Holy Prophet {S} continues:

“The angel told me that the other box contained this precious gift:

'On the Day of Judgment, seventy thousand persons of your nation will be granted entry into Paradise without questioning or reckoning. Their release certificates are contained in this box. In addition to these seventy thousand, each one of them will be granted the release of another seventy thousand from among his friends and relations and other disobedient Muslims.

They, too, will be released without reckoning and granted accession to the heavenly gardens.

This box contains the letters of release for all of them. Tuba, glad tidings to you and your nation, oh Rasulullah {S} !’”

By the term “Tuba” he meant to say, “Oh Rasulullah {S}, among all the countless and unbounded pleasures of the People of Paradise, the delights of the Tuba tree are reserved for you and your nation.”

This expression is metaphorical; the part signifies the whole, and speaking about the Tuba tree, signifies the totality of delights in the entire heavenly realm. In the sense mentioned above, Tuba signifies a tree in Paradise. However, the word ‘tuba’ is also (grammatically) the feminine form of the word ‘atyab’, (which means better, more excellent). This can be interpreted as follows:

“I give tidings of gladness to you and your nation; those who pass their days in the world in a good way and spend their time in a commendable fashion, who perform good works all their lives, and when they reach the end of their days will return their trusts in the light of faith, uttering the words of unity; whose questioning in the grave by the angels Munkar and Nakir will be made easy and whose graves will resemble a Garden of Paradise in which they will be at ease; who on the Day of Gathering will be gathered under the Banner of Praise and who will receive many gratifications under the shadow of the Great Throne; who will be given their book of accounts into their right hand and whose reckoning will be light; who will cross the bridge of the Sirat along with those who are the first to cross it, and who will by the Grace of Allah be of those who enter Paradise freely, without questioning or Judgment; who will be granted the sweetest of all bliss in being privileged to gaze upon the Divine Beauty of the Lord and thus will have attained their ultimate desire – these are the tidings I give to you and your nation, oh Sayedena Muhammad {S}.
