The Sacred Remembrance of the Naqshbandi Masters

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ٱلْرَّجِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The Khatm e Khwajagan has been transmitted through the Golden Chain of the Naqshbandi Masters. It is traditionally done in congregation on Thursday evening. For extra blessings, it’s also done on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Please note that the only section shortened in the Khatm e Khwajagan’s Short Version is the “Recitation of the Chapters of the Qur’an.” All other sections of the khatm, including the number of recitations, remain the same as in the Long Version.

1. Shaykh Recites:

Du’ao An Niyah (Supplication of Intention)                                            دُعَاءُ اَلنِّيَّةِ

Shaykh makes the intention for the Khatm e Khwajagan by reciting the following supplication.

نَوَيْتُ الْأَرْبَعِينَ، نَوَيْتُ الْاِعْتِكَافَ، نَوَيْتُ الْخَلْوَةَ، نَوَيْتُ الْعُزْلَةَ، نَوَيْتُ الرِّيَاضَةَ، نَوَيْتُ السُّلُوكَ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى الْعَظِيمِ، فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ. نَوَيْتُ خَتْمُ الْخَوَاجَكَانِ لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى.

Nawaytul Arba’een, nawaytul ‘Itikaf, nawaytul Khalwah, nawaytul ‘Uzlah, nawaytur Riyada, nawaytus Sulook Lillahi Ta’ala al ‘Azhim,  fi hazal masjid. Nuwaytul Khatmul Khwajagan.

I intend to perform the forty days of seclusion, I intend seclusion in the masjid, I intend spiritual seclusion, I intend isolation/solitude, I intend to discipline (the ego), and I intend to travel on the spiritual path for the sake of Allah Almighty in this masjid. I intend to perform the Khatm e Khwajagan.

2. 3× Kalimatush Shahadah (Testimony of Faith)                                  كَلِمَةُ الشَّهَادَة  ×٣

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ الله وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ.

Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasulu.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah (AJ), and I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the servant and the Messenger of Allah.

3. 70× Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah (AJ))                        أَسْتَغْفِرُاللهَ ×٧٠

 

4. Du’a ul Isteghfar (Supplication of Seeking Forgiveness)                           دُعَاءُ الِْاسْتِغْفَارِ

أَسْتَغْفِرُاللهُ الْعَظِيْمِ، اَلَّذِيْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَالْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومْ وَأَتُوْبُ إِلَيْه. إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَّمَعْصِيَةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ دِيْنَ الْإِسْلاَمْ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ الشَّرِيْعَةَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ الطَّرِيْقَةَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ الْمَعْرِفَةَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ الْحَقِيْقَةَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُخَالِفُ الْعَزِيْمَةَ. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِين، يَا اللّٰهُ.

Astaghfirullahal ‘Azeem, allazi la ilaha illa Hu alHayyul Qayyum, wa atubu ilayh. Innahu hu at Tawabur Rahim min kulli zanbin wa ma’siyyatin,
Wa min kulli maa yukhalifu dinal Islam,
Wa min kulli maa yukhalifush Shari’ah,
Wa min kulli maa yukhalifut Tariqah,
Wa min kulli maa yukhaliful Ma’rifah,
Wa min kulli maa yukhaliful Haqiqah,
Wa min kulli maa yukhaliful ’Azimah, ya Arhamar Rahimin, Ya Allah.

I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Magnificent, the One besides Whom there is no deity, “He is the Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting.” (Quran 2:255) And I repent to Him. Indeed, He is the Accepter of Repentance, the Most Merciful. (I seek forgiveness) from every sin and disobedience, and from everything that opposes the religion of Islam,
and from everything that opposes the Divine Law/Jurisprudence (Shari‘ah),
and from everything that opposes the Spiritual Path (Tariqah),
and from everything that opposes Mystical and Inner knowledge of the Divine  (Ma‘rifah), and from everything that opposes Spiritual Reality (Haqiqah), and from everything that opposes firm intention and determination (‘Azimah), O Most Merciful of those who show mercy, O Allah (AJ).

5. Ya Wahhab (O Bestower)                                                                                  يَا وَهَّابُ

اَللَّهُمَّ يَا مُسَبِّبَ الأَسْبَابِ، يَا مُفَتِّحُ الأَبْوَابِ، يَا مُقَلِّبُ الْقُلُوْبِ وَالأَبْصَارِ. يَا دَلِيْلَ الْمُتَحَيِّرِيْنَ، يَا غِيَاثَ الْمُسْتَغِيْثِيْنَ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ، يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ. “وَاُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِيْ اِلَى اللهِ، اِنَّ اللهَ بَصِيْرٌ بِالْعِبَاد”.

Allahumma ya musabbibal asbab, ya mufattihul abwab, Ya muqallibul qulubi wal absar. Ya Dalilal mutahayyirin, Ya Ghiyathal mustaghithin, Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum, Ya DhulJalali wal Ikram.  “Wa ufawwidu amri ilAllah, innAllaha basirun bil ‘ibaad.” (Surat Ghafir)

O Creator and Originator of causes and means! O Opener of all doors! O Tuner (Changer) of hearts and sights! O Guide of the bewildered and perplexed! O Supporter and Succour of those who seek Your help in a time of difficulty and distress! O Ever-Living! O Self-Subsisting One! O possessor of Majesty and Bounty! “I entrust my affair unto Allah. Truly, Allah (AJ) Sees (and is aware of the condition of) His servants.” (The Forgiver 40:44)

6. Shaykh says: Rabitatush Sharif (Nobel Spiritual Connection)                   رَابِطَةُ الشَّرِيفَةِ

Connect your heart to the heart of the shaykh, from him to the heart of the Prophet (pbuh), from the Prophet (pbuh) to the Divine Presence.

7. Tilaawatu Suwarin minal Qur’an (Recitation of the Chapters of Quran) تِلَاوَةُ سُوَرٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
   

1. 1. Suratul Fatiha (The opener)                                                         سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَةِ

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ‎﴿١﴾‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ‎﴿٢﴾‏ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ‎﴿٣﴾‏ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ‎﴿٤﴾‏ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ‎﴿٥﴾‏ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ‎﴿٦﴾‏ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ‎﴿٧﴾‏

“Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem (1). Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil ‘aalameen (2). Ar Rahmaanir Raheem (3). Maaliki Yawmid Deen (4). Iyyaaka na’budu wa lyyaaka nasta’yeen (5). Ihdinas Siraatal Mustaqeem (6). Siraatal lazeena an’amta ‘alayhim ghayril maghdoobi ‘alayhim wa lad daaalleen (7).” (Surat Al Fatiha)

“In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful (1). Praise be to Allah (AJ), the Lord of the worlds (2); The Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful (3); Sovereign/Owner of the Day of Judgment/Recompense (4). It is You we worship, and (from) You we ask for help (5). Guide us to the Straight Path (6), The path of those on whom you bestowed your grace/blessing, not (the way) of those who have evoked (Your) anger, and nor of those who went astray (7). (The Opener, 1:1-7)

1. 2. 10× Salawat Sharif (Praises on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh))  صَلَوَاتٌ شَرِيفَةٌ ×١٠

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَّعَلَى آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ.

Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin, wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa sallim.

O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and upon the holy family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

1. 3. Suratul Inshirah (The Expansion)                                               سُورَةُ الْإِنْشِرَاحِ 
      • Long Khatm: 7x           
      • Short Khatm: 3x

أَلَمْ نَشْرَ‌حْ لَكَ صَدْرَ‌كَ ﴿١﴾ وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَ‌كَ ﴿٢﴾ الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَ‌كَ ﴿٣﴾ وَرَ‌فَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَ‌كَ ﴿٤﴾ فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ‌ يُسْرً‌ا ﴿٥﴾ إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ‌ يُسْرً‌ا ﴿٦﴾ فَإِذَا فَرَ‌غْتَ فَانصَبْ ﴿٧﴾ وَإِلَىٰ رَ‌بِّكَ فَارْ‌غَب ﴿٨﴾

“Alam nashrah laka sadrak. (1) Wa wada’na ‘anka wizrak. (2) Allazi anqada zhahrak. (3) Wa rafa’na laka zikrak. (4) Fa inna ma’al ‘usri yusran. (5) Inna ma’al ‘usri yusra. (6) Fa izaa faraghta fainsab. (7) Wa ila rabbika farghab. (8)” (Surat Inshirah)

“Did We not open and expand your chest for you [O’ Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)]? (1) And We removed from you your burden. (2) Which had weighed upon your back. (3) And raised high for you your remembrance. (4) For indeed, with every hardship [will be] ease. (5) Indeed, with difficulty [will be] relief. (6)  So when you are free [from your occupation], then stand up [for worship]. (7) And to your Lord direct/turn [your] longing. (8)” (The Expansion, 94:1-8)

1. 4. Surat Ikhlas (The Sincerity)                                                     سُوْرَةُ الإِخْلاَصِ 
      • Long Khatm: 11x           
      • Short Khatm: 3x

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّـهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿١﴾ اللَّـهُ الصَّمَدُ ﴿٢﴾ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ﴿٣﴾ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ﴿٤﴾

“Qul HuwAllahu Ahad. (1) Allahus Samad. (2) Lam yalid wa lam yulad. (3) Wa lam yakul lahu, kufuwan Ahad. (4)” (Surat Al Ikhlas)

“Say (O’ Muhammad (pbuh) He, Allah (is) One! (1) Allah, the Eternal/the Self-Sufficient. (2) He neither begets nor is born. (3) And there is none like unto Him. (4)” (The Sincerity, 112:1-4)

8. Du’a of Sayyidina Yusuf (as)                                                   دُعَاءُ سَيِّدِنَا يُوسُفَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ
   (Supplication of Prophet Joseph (pbuh))

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ٱلْرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ ‎﴿١٠١﴾ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ، صَدَقَ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ.
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ. ﴿١٨٠﴾‏ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ ‎﴿١٨١﴾‏ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ‎﴿١٨٢﴾‏

Auzu Billahi minash Shaitanir Rajeem.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.
“Rabbi qad ataytani minal mulki, wa ‘allamtani min tawilil ahadis, fatiras samawati wal ardi, anta waliyi fid dunya wal akhirah. Tawaffani Musliman wal hiqni bis Salihin.” (Surat Yusuf 12 :101)
Amantu billahi sadaqAllahul ‘Azim. “Subhana rabbika raibl izzati ‘ama yasifun. (180) Wa salamun ‘alal Mursalin. (181) Wal hamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Aalamin. (182)” (Surat As Saffat 37:180-182)

“My Lord, You have indeed given me some dominion and authority and taught me the interpretation of visions and dreams. O Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Wali (Guardian) in this world and in the Hereafter. Let me die as Muslim, in submission to Your Will and join me with the righteous.” (Quran Joseph, 12:101)
“Glory to your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is) above whatever they attribute unto Him! (180) And peace be upon the Messengers. (181) And praise be to Allah (AJ), the Lord of the worlds. (182) (Quran, Those Who Set the Ranks 37:180-182)

9. Shaykh recites: Ihda – Ila Sharafin Nabi إِهْدَاء- اِلَى شَرَفِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ                                    ﷺ
   (Dedication to the Honour of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh))
   

إِلَىٰ شَرَفِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَ إِلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ الْكِرَامِ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ إِخْوَانِهِ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ (عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامْ) وَ خُدَمَاءِ شَرَائِعِهِمْ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْأَرْبَعَةِ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ مَشَايِخِنَا فِي الطَّرِيقَةِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَالِيَّةِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوْحِ إِمَامِ الطَّرِيقَةِ وَغَوْثِ الْخَلِيقَةِ خَوَاجَةْ بَهَاءُالدِّينِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِ مُحَمَّدِ الْأُوَيْسِيِ الْبُخَارِيِّ، وَإِلَىٰ سُلْطَانُ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ مَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ اَلْفَائِزِ اَلدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَسُلْطَانُ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ مَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ مُحَمَّدٍ نَاظِمِ الْحَقَّانِيِّ، وَمَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَادِلْ، وَمَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ مُحَمَّدٍ هِشَامِ قَبَانِيْ، وَمَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ أَدْنَانِ قَبَانِيْ، وَ خَاصَّةً مَوْلَانَا اَلشَّيْخَ عَبْدُ الْخَالِقِ الْغُجْدَوَانِيَّ.  وَإِلَىٰ صَاحِبُ الزَّمَانِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدِ الْمَهْدِي (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ)، وَرُوْحُ اللَّهِ سَيِّدِنَا عِيسَىٰ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ)، وَسَيْفُ اللَّهِ سَيِّدِنَا عَلِيٍّ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ)، وَإِلَىٰ سَائِرِ سَادَاتِنَا وَالصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ. الْفَاتِحَةُ.

Ila sharifin Nabiﷺ , wa ila aalihi wa sahbihil kiram, wa ila arwahi ikhwanihi minal Anbiyayi wal Mursalin (as), wa khudamaayi sharaayi ‘ehim, wa ila arwahil ayimatil arba’ah, wa ila arwahi mashaayikhena fit tariqatin Naqshbandiyatil ‘aaliyah, khassatan ila ruhi Imamit tariqati wa ghawsil khaliqati Khwaja Bahauddinin Naqshband Muhammadel Uwaysil Bukhari, wa ila Sultanol Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah al Faayiz adDaghestani, wa Sultanol Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammadin Nazim el Haqqani, wa Mawlana Shaykh Muhammadin Adil, wa Mawlana Shaykh Muhammadin Hisham Qabbani, wa Mawlana Shaykh Adnan Qabbani, wa Khassatan Mawlana Shaykh Abdul Khaliq al Ghojdawani. Wa illa Sahiboz Zaman Sayyidina Muhammadel Mahdi (as), wa Ruhollah Sayyidina ‘Isa (as), wa Sayfollah Sayyidina ‘Ali (as), wa ila sayiri sadatina wa Siddiqin. Al Fatiha.

This is dedicated to the honor of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and his holy family, and his noble companions, and to the souls of his brothers from the Prophets and Messengers (pbut), and to the servants of the Divine Law, and to the souls of the four Imams. and to the souls of our Shaykhs of the distinguished Naqshbandi Way, especially to the leader of the Way and arch-intercessor of the created world; Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammadul Uwaisil Bukhari, and to the King of Saints our master Shaykh Abdullah al Fa’iz Daghestani, and the King of Saints our master Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al Haqqani, and our master Shaykh Muhammad Adil, and our master Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, our master Shaykh Adnan Kabbani, and Especially our master leader of the Khatm Khwajagan, Shaykh Abdul Khaaliq al Ghujdawani. And to the Authority of the Time, our master Muhammadul Mahdi (as), and the Spirit of God, our master ‘Isa (as), and the sword of Allah (AJ) our master Imam ‘Ali (as), and to all our masters, and the Truthful. [Recite Surat Al Fatiha]

10. 100× La ilaha illAllah

فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ:
١٠٠ × لاَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ

Fa’lam annahu:
100× La ilaha illAllah

Know that: There is no deity but Allah (AJ).

11. 3× Each Kalimatush Sharifa (The Noble Phrase)                                      اَلْكَلِمَةُ الشَّرِيفَةُ ×٣

٣× لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ، مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ، عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةُ اللّٰهِ

٣× لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ، مُحَمَّدٌ حَبِيبُ اللّٰهِ، عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةُ اللّٰهِ

٣× لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ، مُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيُّ اللّٰهِ، عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةُ اللّٰهِ

٣× لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ، مُحَمَّدٌ خَلِيلُ اللّٰهِ، عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةُ اللّٰهِ

3× La ilaha ill Allah, Muhammadun Rasulullah, alayhi Salatullah

There is no deity but Allah; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of Allah; may Allah’s blessings be upon him.
There is no deity but Allah; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Beloved of Allah; may Allah’s blessings be upon him.
There is no deity but Allah; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Prophet of Allah; may Allah’s blessings be upon him.
There is no deity but Allah; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Intimate Friend of Allah; may Allah’s blessings be upon him.
There is no deity but Allah; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Chosen One of Allah; may Allah’s blessings be upon him.
There is no deity but Allah; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Intercessor of Allah; may Allah’s blessings be upon him.

12. Shaykh recites: Short version of Ihda

Ihda – Ila Sharafin Nabi إِهْدَاء- اِلَى شَرَفِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ                                                         ﷺ                                                                                  
(Dedication to the Honour of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) 

إِلَىٰ شَرَفِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَإِلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ الْكِرَامِ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ إِخْوَانِهِ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَخُدَمَاءِ شَرَائِعِهِمْ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْأَرْبَعَةِ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ مَشَايِخِنَا فِي الطَّرِيقَةِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَالِيَّةِ،…
وَإِلَىٰ سَائِرِ سَادَاتِنَا وَالصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ. الْفَاتِحَةُ.

Ila sharifin Nabiﷺ , wa ila aalihi wa sahbihil kiram, wa ila arwahi ikhwanihi minal Anbiyayi wal Mursalin (as), wa khudamaayi sharaayi ‘ehim, wa ila arwahil ayimatil arba’ah, wa ila arwahi mashaayikhena fit tariqatin Naqshbandiyatil ‘aaliyah, … Wa ila sayiri sadatina wa Siddiqin. Al Fatiha.

This is dedicated to the honor of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and his holy family, and his noble companions, and to the souls of his brothers from the Prophets and Messengers (pbut), and to the servants of the Divine Law, and to the souls of the four Imams. and to the souls of our Shaykhs of the distinguished Naqshbandi Way, …And to all our masters, and the Truthful. [Recite Surat Al Fatiha]

13. 100× Zikrul Jalalah (Remembrance of the Majestic Name (Allah)                    ذِكْرُ الْجَلَاَلِه

…أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ ﴿٢٨﴾

“… ala bi dhikrillahi tatma’innul Qulob.” (Surat Ar-Ra’d)

“… For without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.” (The Thunder, 13:28)

14. HasbunAllahu (Allah is Sufficient for us)                                                              حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ

 حَسْبُنَا اللَّـهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ ﴿١٧٤﴾ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِير. وَلَا حَوْلَه وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيُ الْعَظِيْمِ.

“HasbunAllahu wa ni’mal Wakil.” (3:173) Ni’mal Mawlaa wa ni’man Naseer. Wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil ‘Aliyul ‘Azhim.

“Allah is sufficient for us, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.” (The Family of ‘Imran 3:173) The very best Master and the best Defender and Protector. And there is no Support, nor power except by Allah, The Most High, The Magnificent.”

15. 33× Hu, Hu, Hu (The Unknown Essence of the Divine)                               هُوْ، هُوْ، هُوْ ×٣٣

23. Al Asma ul Husna (The Beautiful Names of Allah (AJ))                               ٱلْأَسْمَاءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

٣. ٢ ×يَا دَائِمُ، يَا دَائِمُ، يَا دَائِمُ، يَا اللّٰهُ
٤. ٢ ×يَا حَلِيْمُ، يَا حَلِيْمُ، يَا حَلِيْمُ، يَا اللّٰهُ
٥. ٢ ×يَا حَفِيْظُ، يَا حَفِيْظُ، يَا حَفِيْظُ، يَا اللّٰهُ

   20. Ya Sultan — O King (The Sovereign, The Ultimate Authority), O Allah
   21. Ya Amaan — O Source of Safety, O Allah

24. HasbunAllahu (Allah is Sufficient for us)                                                       حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ

25. Salo ‘Alay (Send Praising upon the Prophet (pbuh) (Quran 33:56)                     صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ 

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا ‎﴿٥٦﴾‏ 

“InnAllaha wa malayikatahu yusalluna ‘alan Nabiyi yaa ayyuhal lazina aamanu sallu ‘alayhi wa sallimu taslima.” (Surat Al-Ahzab) 

“Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet [Muhammad (pbuh)]: O you who believe! Ask Allah (AJ) to send blessings upon him, and you too salute him with all reverence and respect.” (The Combined Forces, 33:56) 

26. 10× Salawat Sharif (Praises on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh))               صَلَوَاتٌ شَرِيفَةٌ ×١٠

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَّعَلَى آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلِّمْ.

Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin, wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin wa sallim.

O Allah! Send Peace and blessings upon our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and upon the holy family of our master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

27. Shaykh recites: Sayyidus Salawat                                                         سَيِّدُ اَلصَّلَوَاتُ
    (Master of Praising upon Prophet Muhammad (pbuh))

صَلِّ يَا رَبِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ الأَنْبِيآءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَآلِ كُلٍّ أَجْمَعِيْنَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.
عَلَى أَشْرَفِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ ﷺ
عَلَى أَفْضَلِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ ﷺ
عَلَى أَكْمَلِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّلَوَاتُ ﷺ
صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ تَعَالَى وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ، وَجَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ، وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالَىٰ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ. وَرَضِيَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وتَعَالَىٰ عَنْ سَادَاتِنَا أَصْحَابِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ، وَعَنِ التَّابِعِيْنَ بِهِمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ، وَعَنِ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْمُجْتَهِدِيْنَ الْمَاضِيْنَ، وَعَنِ الْعُلَمَاءِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ، وَعَنْ عَنِ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ، وَعَنْ مَشَائِخِنَا فِي الطَّرِيقَةِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَلِيَّةِ. قَدَّسَ اللهُ تَعَالَىٰ أَرْوَاحَهُمُ الزَّكِيَّةَ، وَنَوَّرَ اللهُ تَعَالَىٰ أَضْرِحَتَهُمُ الْمُبَارَكَةَ. وَأَعَادَ اللهُ تَعَالَىٰ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِهِمْ وَفُيُوْضَاتِهِمْ دَائِمًا. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ. الْفَاتِحَةُ.

Salli ya Rabbi wa sallim ‘ala jami’yil anbiyayi wal mursaleen, wa aali kullin ajma’een, wal hamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alameen.

‘Ala Ashrafil ‘Aalamina Sayyidina Muhammadin salawat ﷺ
‘Ala Afdalil ‘Aalamina Sayyidina Muhammadin salawat ﷺ
‘Ala Akmalil ‘Aalamina Sayyidina Muhammadin salawat ﷺ

Salawatullahi ta’ala wa Malayikatihi wa Anbiyayihi wa Rusulihi, Wa jami’yi Khalqihi ‘ala Muhammmadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammad, ‘alayhi wa ‘alayhimus salam, wa rahmahtullahi ta’ala wa barakatuhu. Wa radiAllahu tabaraka wa ta’ala ‘an sadatina Ashabi Rasulillahi ajma’een, Wa ‘anit Tabi’yina bihim bi ihsan, Wa ‘anil a’Emmatil mujtahidinal madhin, Wa ‘anil ‘Ulamayil Muttaqin, Wa ‘anil Awliyayis Salihin, Wa am Mashyikhina fit tariqatin Naqshbandiyatil ‘Aliya. QaddasAllahu ta’ala arwaha-homuz zakiya, wa nawwarAllahu ta’ala adrihatahumul mubaraka. Wa a’adAllahu ta’ala ‘alayna min barakatihim wa fuyudhatihim dayiman. Wal hamdulillahi Rabbil ‘alamin. Al Fatiha.

O my Lord, send blessings and peace be upon all the Prophets and Messengers, and upon the families of every one of them. All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.

Blessings be upon the Noblest of all creation, our Master Muhammad (pbuh).
Blessings be upon the Most Superior of all Creation, our Master Muhammad (pbuh).
Blessings upon the Most Perfect of all Creation, our Master Muhammad (pbuh).

Blessings of Allah the Exalted, His angels, His Prophets, His Messengers, and all of His creation be upon Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the family of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh); May the mercy and blessings of Allah the Exalted, be upon him and upon them. And may Allah, the Blessed and Most High, be pleased with everyone of our masters the holy Companions of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh); and with those who followed them with excellence, and with the great Imams and leading authorities of Islamic Jurisprudence who have passed on; and with the scholars of deep divine consciousness, and the Righteous Saints, and with our spiritual masters in the Distinguished Naqshbandi Path. May Allah the Exalted sanctify their pure souls and illuminate their blessed resting places. And may Allah the Exalted continually bestow upon us from their blessings and downpouring emanations. And all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. (Recite first Chapter of Qur’an – al Fatiha (The Opener).

    Read the Ihda – a supplication of dedication to pious soul.

اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ ثَوَابَ مَا قَرَأْنَاهُ وَنُوْرَ مَا تَلَوْنَاهُ هَدِيَّةً وَ وَّاصِلَةً مِّنَّا إِلَىٰ رُوْحِ نَبِيِّنَا سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ إِخْوَانِهِ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ (عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامْ) وَخُدَمَاءِ شَرَائِعِهِمْ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْأَرْبَعَةِ، وَإِلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ مَشَايِخِنَا فِي الطَّرِيقَةِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِيَّةِ الْعَالِيَّةِ، خَاصَّةً إِلَىٰ رُوْحِ إِمَامِ الطَّرِيقَةِ وَغَوْثِ الْخَلِيقَةِ خَوَاجَةْ بَهَاءُالدِّينِ النَّقْشَبَنْدِ مُحَمَّدِ الْأُوَيْسِيِ الْبُخَارِيِّ، وَإِلَىٰ سُلْطَانُ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ مَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ اَلْفَائِزِ اَلدَّاغِسْتَانِيِّ، وَسُلْطَانُ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ مَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ مُحَمَّدِ نَاظِمِ اَلْحَقَّانِيِّ، وَمَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ مُحَمَّدِ عَادِلْ، وَمَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ مُحَمَّدِ هِشَامِ قَبَانِيْ، وَمَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخِ أَدْنَانِ قَبَانِيْ. وَإِلَىٰ صَاحِبُ الزَّمَانِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدِ الْمَهْدِي (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامْ)، وَرُوْحُ اللَّهِ سَيِّدِنَا عِيسَىٰ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامْ)، وَسَيْفُ اللَّهِ سَيِّدِنَا عَلِيٍّ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامْ)، وَإِلَىٰ سَائِرِ سَادَاتِنَا وَالصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ. اَلْفَاتِحَةُ.

 Allahumma balligh sawaba ma qaranahu wa noora ma talawnahu, hadiyatan wa waasilatan minnaa ila ruhi Nabiyina Sayyidina Muhammadin ﷺ , wa ila arwahi ikhwanihi minal Anbiyayi wal Mursalin (as), wa khudamaayi sharaayi ‘ehim, wa ila arwahil ayimatil arba’ah, wa ila arwahi mashaayikhena fit tariqatin Naqshbandiyatil ‘aaliyah, khasatan ila ruhi Imamit Tariqati wa Ghawsil Khaliqati Khwaja Bahauddinin Naqshband Muhammadel Uwaysil Bukhari, wa ila Sultanol Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah al Faayiz adDaghestani, wa Sultanol Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al Haqqani, wa Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Adil, wa Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Qabbani, wa Mawlana Shaykh Adnan Qabbani. Wa illa Sahiboz Zaman Sayyidina Muhammadel Mahdi (as), wa Ruhollah Sayyidina ‘Isa (as), wa Sayfollah Sayyidina ‘Ali (as), wa ila sayiri sadatina wa Siddiqin. Al Fatiha.

O Allah! Bestow the reward of what we have read, and the light of what we have recited, as a gift and a means through which it reaches from us to the soul of our Prophet, our Master Muhammad (pbuh), and to the souls of his brothers from the Prophets and Messengers (pbut), and to the servants of the Divine Law, and to the souls of the four Imams. And to the souls of our Shaykhs of the distinguished Naqshbandi Way, especially to the leader of the Way and the Supporter of the Created World; Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad Uwaisil Bukhari, and to the King of Saints our master Shaykh Abdullah al Fa’iz adDaghestani, and the King of Saints our master Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al Haqqani, and our master Shaykh Muhammad Adil, and our master Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, and our master Shaykh Adnan Kabbani. And to the Master of the Time, our master Muhammadul Mahdi (as), and the Spirit of God, our master ‘Isa (as), and the Sword of Allah (AJ) our master Imam ‘Ali (as), and to all our masters, and the Truthful.
