Reality of YaSeen Habibullah, Ta Ha RasulAllah
REALITY OF
YA SEEN HABIBALLAH
Salatullah salamullah ‘ala Taha Rasullillah
Salatullah salamullah ‘ala Yasin Habibillah
Allah’s praise, Allah’s blessing upon Taha, Messenger of Allah
Allah’s praise, Allah’s blessing upon the Yasin, Beloved of Allah
From The Teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani as Taught by Shaykh Sayed Nurjan Mirahmadi
A’udhu Billahi Min’ash Shaitanir Rajeem, Bismillahi’r Rahmani’r Raheem
Maulana Shaykh’s teaching that we went over before: that Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s name, that what Allah ‘Azza wa Jal named that Divinely reality is important for us, we are not making these up from our heart but Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is teaching us that to understand that reality and what Allah ‘Azza wa Jal put of oceans of reality in the huroof, and in naming that reality.
It means every secret has a name, and every name has a secret. When they want to begin to open that secret, one tremendous secret is in why Allah ‘Azza wa Jal used those huroof to describe the reality of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). And before we describe that Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is the secret of hamd حمد (praise); that the holy praise and what first existed in creation was the word of God, which means the praise of the Divine, that, this is the secret of hamd حمد. We said before that all creation is in the ocean of the meem م and the hamd حمد is the power of that ocean. The essence of that center Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave from his alif for this power to continue to emanate, because this is a Divinely power- la sharik means there cannot be two divines. There is one Divinely power and Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gives his holy alif, ‘izzatullahi wa rasool wal mu’mineen.
…وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa lillahil ‘izzatu wa lir Rasole hi wa lil Mumineena,
wa lakinnal munafiqeena la y’alamoon. (63:8)
And to Allah belongs [all] Might, and to His messenger, and to the believers,
but the hypocrites do not know. (Surat Al Munafiquoon 63:8)
What make people to be mu’mineen is that they be dressed by the secret of this faith, they be dressed by the secret of submission, the secret of faith and maqam al Ihsaan. So begin to teach us all of these realities. From within this reality, they begin to teach from the holy names, that: the heart of this reality, it has a name in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is dressing that name, Sayyiduna Ya Seen. Because the heart has to be understood, from the heart, everything is emanating out. This is the heart that gave us Holy Qur’an. So anybody who loves Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), you celebrate the life and the reality of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), it is a celebration of Holy Qur’an. If not for Prophet [as] being born, there is no Holy Qur’an for you. There’s no Islam, there’s no iman, there’s no maqam al-ihsaan.
They begin to teach us that the name in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave the heart of that reality is Sayyiduna Ya Seen, Sayyiduna Ya Seen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam); and all ‘ulama wa mashaa’ikh come and teach us that the heart of Holy Qur’an is Suratul Ya Seen يس (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). That, in itself, is an amazing ocean of realities; that it is the source of Holy Qur’an’s emanation. It’s emanating from the secret of that ya ي and seen س . By reading Holy Ya Seen يس , you are mentioning the reality, the highest realities of the Muhammadan reality (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
That is why it is Allah’s rahmah (mercy) and Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s rahmah, that Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) made all the nation to recite Suratul YaSeen. Throughout the day, we recite Suratal YaSeen at the Fajr time, as a part of the Naqshbandi wazifah, tremendous realities. And you recite over every single Muslim who’s passing away. Why? Because even if they didn’t accept to make durood-e-sharif and they didn’t accept and acknowledged the high reality of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s intercession and He is rahmatan lil ‘aalameen. Even when you recite Suratul Ya Seen, you will be dressed by that recital, by that reality. You will be dressed by that secret of Sayyiduna Ya Seen (alaihis salaam). To dress your heart, bless your heart, from all its divine realities, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal making us all to recite Suratul Ya Seen.
Secret of the Seen س
Then they begin to teach that these huroof, the seen is for the sir سر, secret. And the secret has these three lines س, like oceans, that from this, you enter into this ocean up into that secret, out into that ocean because this is the secret of reality. This is the secret of creation, it is made from ilm ul ya’qeen (Knowledge of Certainty) -(one line) ‘ayn al ya’qeen (Vision of Certainty) (the second line), haqq ul ya’qeen (Truth of Certainty). It means you have to come into that secret and the first line is ilm ul-yaqeen means you have to have the knowledge, knowledge of realities; if you want to reach the reality. Not just you studying wudhu; they know ten different subjects on wudhu, okay you got over your wudhu, you learned how to wash your rear end and wash your hands, congratulations!
How about the knowledge of realities? You have to have ilm ul ya’qeen (Knowledge of Certainty), that you went beyond, into the knowledge of Islam, into the knowledge of iman (faith) – which is to love Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) more than you love yourself; and into maqam al Ihsaan and the realities, the reality of realities noorul anwaar wa sirrat al asraar نور الانوار و سر الاسرار. It means the reality of lights and the secret of all the mysteries of that light.
First is the ilm ul-yaqeen. With ilm ul-yaqeen (Knowledge of Certainty) and the knowledge of realities, ‘ayn al ya’qeen (Vision of Certainty); they’re going to teach you to open up because ‘ayn ع is also from ‘aleem عليم, but ayn is also for the heart- that you are using your eyes but these realities are not from the eyes of your body, but the eyes of the soul.
They begin to teach: make tafakkur and contemplate. Contemplate Allah’s creation, contemplate Allah’s Holy Qur’an; recite and begin to meditate on what you recited. You’re using those Divinely knowledge and building your ‘ayn (vision), building your spiritual vision of your soul. That knowledge with the vision of the soul and the power of the soul becomes haq yaqeen (Truth of Certainty). Haqul yaqeen is a brick by brick. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal begins to reveal to your soul what they call khashf: different visions and different understandings through the soul, brick by brick, so that you know it like you know the back of your hand, like you know your being. Brick by brick, haqul yaqeen begins to open.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ﴿٣
IllaL ladheena aamano wa `amilos saalihaati, wa tawaasaw bil haqi wa tawaasaw bis sabr.
Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and adviced (exhorted) each other to truth and adviced (exhorted) each other to patience. (Surat al-`Asr, 103:3)
“Wa ta waasau bil haqqi wa ta waasau bis-sabr,” means our way is based on the way of haqq and it is based on sabr (patience). All of this requires sabr and patience, that you build these knowledges, contemplate these knowledges, they begin to open the haqq of that knowledge. That is the secret of the seen.
And why Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants us to know that seen and the heart of Holy Qur’an, the ya is the yaqeen, that you have to come to the certainty, the ya brings the yaqeen. So do everything to enter into the oceans of yaqeen, into the understanding of the seen. So then that yaqeen for the knowledge, for the vision and for the haqq of certainty.
Seen of as Sami’ السميع
That seen also stands for As-Sami’ السميع; that Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s reality is yaqeen as-sami’ (certainty of hearing), that he is the commander of those who hear. Because they want us to understand what makes the heart of Divinely presence to be the heart of Divinely presence? That, why not any other prophet carrying that reality? Because Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants us to know that this is the certainty of hearing; “I created this reality and the soul of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), the heart and the reality of Ya Seen, I created it to hear, and it hears My Divinely presence, complete.”
وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ﴿٢٨٥
2:285…wa qalu samina waatana ghufranaka Rabbana wailayka almaseer
And they say, “We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.” (Surat al Baqara 2:285)
So our way is what? “Sami’na wa ata’na سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ”- we heard and we obeyed; not “I saw,” because people who are making statues and rubbing things, they’re trying to see and obey. The highest levels of reality Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, “No, no, you don’t need to see anything. You need to hear and obey.” Hear and obey, so then the ways of tarbiyah and the ways of ihtiba’ (to follow), not follow with our eyes but follow with our ears. Follow with our ears, that you heard what they taught, and you are following, you heard what they taught and you are following.
And they begin to test you with what you hear, not your spiritual hearing but what you’re hearing them physically. You hear them physically, you listen and you follow, hear, listen, follow. Follow so that we can inherit from Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that when you are following physically their orders, their commands, their way of life. That you are accompanying them, wajib al-taqlid, it’s ahle-sunnah wal jamaah and all the lovers of ahl al-bayt, it’s mandatory to follow.
When we follow, it opens the reality of the ear. That’s why when you make salaah you go, “Allahu akbar” (touching your ears with your hands.) Why Allah wants that is, that “My ears are for You,” it is the commanding of my soul, that my soul’s power if moving through my ears when I’m hearing with yaqeen (certainty). It means the energy of my soul is coming. My eyes are the window of the soul but these ears are the doors of the soul; that my soul is in command and it’s saying, “Allahu akbar” (God is Great) means moving into Your Divinely presence.
Sayyidina YaSeen Habibullah يـٰسٓ حَـبِيْـبِ الله
There are so many realities based on the YaSeen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and he is HabibAllah.
It carries the hub حب (Love),
the hayaat حيات (life) and bahr بحر (ocean)
– bahr ul-qudra بحرالقدرة (ocean of Power).
All of Holy Qur’an is in Fatiha, all of Fatiha in Bismillahir rahmanir raheem, and all of Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem in the ba ب. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal showing us in many different understandings: this is the qalb قلب (heart). Qalb قلب (heart), why? Because qaaf ق , lam ل = qul قل , to the what, qul (say) is a speech. Allah’s speech is to the ba ب. The whole of creation unfolds from Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. So the qalb is Sayyiduna Ya Seen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), which is Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). And he has yaqeen as sami’ ,that he has the perfection of hearing and because of that reality, every soul of every prophet is just below that, the perfection of hearing.
When the one who hears the Divine, speaks for the Divine. The one who hears Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) speaks for Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). That’s why not everybody speaks, but the ones who are hearing with perfection, they will be granted a permission by Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, “You hear Us, so you speak for Us.” And the Master of them, the Sayyid of them is Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). So every time we are seeing that seen throughout the Holy Qur’an, it has to do with the secret of these realities. Then to reach to that secret, that is our mission, that, “Ya Rabbi, let me to reach sirrat al-asraar – nur ul-anwar wa sirrat al-asraar. Let me to reach to these secrets.”
Then direct yourself to Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), direct yourself to the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). They show you like a Niagara Falls flowing; that is the source of Holy Qur’an, it is the light. We’re talking about the soul, not physical body, the world of souls, the world of light. It’s not a shirk because you are worshiping Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, directing yourself to where the Qur’an was emanating, where Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Divinely speech is emanating, and there is nowhere to find Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. There’s no way you can enter into a room and take the space of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal and breathe the air of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, la sharik! The La ilaha illa-Lah is very clear for us, “Don’t look here, you’re not going to share My speech, you’re not going to share My air, you’re not going to share My space. You look for the reality in Muhammadun Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)”, so this ocean of Muhammad is the ocean of hamd. The center and the reality of all paradise realities of hamd, of what Sayyiduna Isa (alaihis salaam) was calling this reality is Ahmad (alaihis salaam). That is why alif ا and hamd حمد becomes Ahmad احمد. Alhamdulillah الحمد لله. Hamd حمد of Allah is for Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). This is alhamdulillah الحمد لله. That we go into a different association.
Sayyidina TaHa Rasollulah طٰـهَ رَسُـوْلِ الله
The second name that they want us to understand is Sayyiduna TaHa طٰـهَ (alaihis salaatus salaam). Sayyiduna TaHa has a title of RasolAllah. It means then the center of the reality of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is Sayyiduna YaSeen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), it is where the heart of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, heart of Holy Qur’an is emanating. It means that, when you love Allah ‘Azza wa Jal and Allah ‘Azza wa Jal accepts your love, He begins to take you to His Divinely heart. People are not understanding, that all our lives, “qul inkuntum tuhubboon-allah fattabiooni yuhbibbkumullah,” that everything was for the love of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal.
3:31 – Qul in kuntum tuhibbonAllaha fattabi’onee, yuhbibkum Ullahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunobakum
wallahu Ghaforur Raheem.
Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Surat Al ‘Imran 3:31)
When Allah says that, “You are loving Me, you are loving Me, you are loving Me; I’m accepting your love. Now I want to take you where My heart is.” Because we were bringing Allah into our heart, but now Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants to take us to where His Divinely heart is. My heart, “I’m not on heavens and I’m not on earth, but I’m on the heart of this believer.” That I’m going to take you into My Divinely heart, where My love is,” because your heart is with the love of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s heart is with the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). From that love is where Qur’an is coming.
ما وسعني ارضي و ل سمايئ ولاكن وسعني قلب عبدي الموءمن
“Neither My Earth nor My Heavens can contain Me, but the heart of my Believing Servant.
When they’re not respecting Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), they’re not respecting Holy Qur’an, they’re not respecting their own reality and their own birth. From what ocean did you come from? Allah ‘Azza wa Jal then teaching, “If I don’t love you, you don’t go. When I don’t love you, you don’t go to Mawlid an-Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). When I don’t love you, you don’t mention My name. When I don’t love you, I don’t even let you to mention the name of the one whom I love.” This is all a ni’mat (blessing) and the love of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal.
In Surat an-Nur 24:36, Allah says “We allowed Our name to be mentioned. ” So if you are not mentioning, you’re not clever, but you are cursed; that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is not allowing you to mention His name, He seals your lips, “From that mouth I don’t want to hear My name. And from that mouth I don’t want to hear My most beloved, the one whom I love and like a fragrance.” Why would you want that fragrance to come out of something of a horrible, dirty nature?
So it’s not our cleverness, it’s Allah’s grant that “I’m allowing you to praise upon this Divinely reality, and because of your praising, I will change everything about you.” Yuhibbukumullah (Allah will love you), is that you enter into that reality, “Because I love Sayyiduna YaSeen (alaihis salaatus salaam), I will begin to change your being, so that you match the beauty of that light; that you match the fragrance of that light.” We said before, you can’t give somebody beautiful roses and throw them into a muddy water. If Allah ‘Azza wa Jal granting you these beautiful roses, then Allah ‘Azza wa Jal granting to change the water that it’s put in. Means your entire being to change, that, “Ya Rabbi, grant me from these realities and these lights, and grant me a worthiness of that light to enter within me.”
And that is the fight in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal will support. That is when Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says that, “That is the, the opening within your reality. If I allow you to make that praise; I’m going to begin to fight with inside of you, that I’m going to push all the bad character away, I’m going to push all the shayateen away, so that light and that love emanate within you and you become mahfuz, guarded.” Why awliya Allah are guarded? Because of the love they have for Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), they are dressed from the reality of Ya Seen (alaihis salaatus salaam), they are dressed from the realities of Holy Qur’an. They don’t have to have it memorised, because Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, “Ittaqullah wa alimakumullah…,” has such a love for them, that as they need, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal will teach; because they are ahle-hubb, because this is from Habibullah.
They are from ahle-hayaat اهل حيات, and they carry in their lives the ba of all of Holy Qur’an, the bahr of bahr al-qudra بحر القدرة. So they are the hubb. Hubb ur-Rasool حب الرسول is to bring the light of faith. Hubb ar-rasool حب الرسول are from the people of hayaat حيات, that behind them are the people of hayaat and they are the holders of the ba. And within their hands is bahr al-qudra بحر القدرة. With that support, with that light, with that love, they are moving. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal begin to describe that, “My hand is upon their hand, and the hand of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is upon their hand” means that their hands are supported, their lives are supported, their beings are supported.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّـهَ يَدُ اللَّـهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ
48: 10 – “Innal ladheena yubayi’oonaka innama yubayi’on Allaha yadullahi fawqa aydeehim, … “
Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] – they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah.
The hand of Allah is over their hands. (Surat Al Fath (Victory) 48:10)
Risaalat رسالت (Messengership)
Then they begin to teach us that the risaalat رسالت (messengership) of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). That the soul of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was a rasol (messanger) way before Adam was between water and clay; that we are talking about the world of light and not the world of form. When we are talking about the messengership of the world of light, it’s before the creation of the form, “Alam al Qur’an, khalaq al-insaan.” Alam al-Qur’an means that when Allah ‘Azza wa Jal created this light of Muhammadun Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that you are the RasoolAllah (alahis salaatus salaam), ancient!
عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ ﴿٢﴾ خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ ﴿٣
‘Allama ‘l-qur’an. Khalaqa ‘l-insaan.
It is He Who has taught the Qur’an. He has created Man. (Surat Ar Rahman 55: 2-3)
And that’s what Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was telling his family and companions, that they asked, “What was the first of creation?” “The light of your messenger, the rasool, the light of your rasool, because I was giving isharat in the world of light.” It means when there’s a rasool and when Allah ‘Azza wa Jal created the Khalifa, created this reality, there’s no going to Allah ‘Azza wa Jal.
أول ما خلق الله نور نبيك يا جابر
Awwalu ma khalaqallahu nuri Nabyika, Ya Jabir.
The first thing that Allah created was your prophet`s light (referring to himself (saw)).
There is no malaika ملائكة who have seen Allah ‘Azza wa Jal- that’s why they all called meem م , they’re all from the meem of Sayyiduna Muhammad محمد (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). They answer to Sayyiduna Ahmad احمد (alaihis salaam). They’re from Nur Muhammad نورمحمد (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), they can not go above Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) to Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. The mala’ika can’t go into that hat That’s why the highest of the malaa’ika, Sayyiduna Jibrail (Gabriel) (alaihis salaam), said, “For your isra wal mi’raj, ya Rasoolullah, I can’t go, it’s not my reality. This is a reality that you are that reality, we are not that reality. If I go I’d be non-existent, then what would, I won’t be able to serve you anymore.”
Reality of Sayedena Ahmad احمد
Nobody goes to Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. You are the owner of qaab al qawsayni aw adna. Bayna Ahad احد wa Ahmad احمد is meem م of Muhammad محمد (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Between Ahad, that, nothing is like unto Him and Sayyiduna Ahmad, is only meem. This is Ahad احد ; that veil and the hijab and the barrier is Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and that’s why he is granted the grant of intercession. He is the Word of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, he is the Praise of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, and because we described in the talkings of energy and sound, that the emanation and the sound that Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) emanates destroys everything false. And as a result will raise it back into the lights in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants.
That is the reality, so there is no malaa’ika who enter into that presence. They come to the risaalat of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). That’s why Sayyiduna Isa (alaihis salaam), when he was seeing that reality, he described it as Nabi Ahmad (alaihis salaam). Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is for dunya, and when they physical body came, it has the meem, it’s known as Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
But in the world of arwa (souls) and light, His darajat (levels) and the reality of His light, it carries The Alif of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, its Divinely dress. And what Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave, what Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave of realities can only be from that alif. only Allah wa Jal no partner, because Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, “There is no partner. My alif is supporting you.”
Reality of the Sun
Look to the sun, you can’t say shirk. How the sun does what it does? That’s why it was mistaken as a god. You get your nourishment from the sun, you get your sight from the sun, photosynthesis, you get your warmth and your energy from the sun; and yet it’s not Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. It’s just a creation of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. He gives it an alif, He gives it ‘izzah (honor) and it does what it has to do. What you think about Nurul Muhammad نورالمحمد (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) where they describe the green dome of Madinah in Salawat of Green Dome: the whole of dunya is buried in its light. Means every star that you imagine is nothing compared to the star of Nabi Ahmad (alaihis salaam). From the light and the power of Sayyiduna Ahmad (alaihis salaam) every power is emanating.
Reality of TaHa Rasollulah طٰـهَ رَسُـوْلِ الله
So then to understand the authority of that reality, they say Sayyiduna TaHa is the Rasool-Allah. They explain why Ya Seen, now to understand at-Ta Ha is, that he has the Toi ط which is at-Tahir الطاهر. He’s Tahir Hadi طاهرالهادي; he is the purified guide of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. That the purity of that light that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal allowed to be Rasool-Allah, Rasool-Allah (messanger of Allah). Allah ‘Azza wa Jal attached His Divinely name to that reality (You can’t call yourself Zishan-Allah; they kill you). Rasool-Allah, that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, “That is so pure, so Divinely light, so blessed light, My name is attached to that light. Ta Ha, he is Tahir al-Hadi طاهرالهادي, he is the purified guide of Divinely presence; that al-Tahir and that he is the Hadi of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, that he is being granted hidaayat هدايت.
We use our five senses to come to guidance. They begin to teach: use your five senses, not only your physical five senses, but each sense has a sense through your soul. First, the most important sense is the sense of hearing: you hear me but you don’t really hear me. So we send out all sorts of emails and Mawlana Shaykh always teaching: people have ears, but they don’t really hear. They take what they want, they leave the rest and they innovate and make up their own things. So they teach: you have a hearing from your physical, and then if you listen and listen and listen for sami’, and to reach the maqam of the perfection of sami’ سميع, they begin to open your spiritual hearing.
If you open your spiritual hearing you have a sense of seeing. If you close your eyes to the material world and begin to contemplate and meditate and taffakur, mean taffakur saa’ati– whoever can taffakur for one hour, as if seventy years of worship as Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) described. Beause you are using now the sense of seeing, but opening up now the sense of your soul in which you can see what people can’t see, you hear what people can’t hear; that is the hadith al-qudsi (holy hadith) that, “If My servant comes with voluntary worship,” love, things that you had to do by love, not by force, “I become the hearing in which he hears, I become the seeing in which he sees,” these are all the senses. “I become the tongue in which he speaks,” is the taste. “I become the breath in which he breathes, I become the hands in which he touches and the feet in which he moves,” means these are the sense of touch. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, “I will take over all your senses and dress you with hidaayat and guidance, where I am now your now your hearing, I am now your seeing, I am now your hands,” yad-Allah, that your hands are supported by the hands of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and upon those hands is Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s hands.
“My slave does not draw near Me with anything I love more than what I have made obligatory for him. My slave continues to draw near me with super obligatory actions until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears,
his sight by which he sees, his hands with which he strikes, and his feet with which he walks.
He will become Rabanniya and say be and it will be ” (Sahih alBukhari)
That’s why in Suratul Ya Seen, “FaSubhanalladhi bi yadihi al malakoot.” Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gives his subhan to those hands that carry the mulk of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, beause they have ‘izzah, have ‘izzatullahi wa rasooli wal mu’mineen. Awliya Allah- they’re describing so we understand- awliya Allah are the commanders of this reality, that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, what Allah ‘Azza wa Jal dressed Sayyiduna Ahmad (alaihis salaatus salaam) with, Sayyiduna Ahmad (alaihis salaam) dresses them and Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gives His glory to the hands that have that mulk. That’s why within their hands, within their being Allah ‘Azza wa Jal dressed them from that hidaayat.
So then it became Ta Ha: that he is the most purified guide of all realities. This is the reality from all the prophets. All the prophets are the center, and all the creation is the circumference. Each prophet’s responsibility is to bring everybody to the centre. There’s no prophet that wanted to bring people to the outer universe, or to themselves. They say, “You are on the circumference, come to the center of these realities. The center of that reality is the reality of the soul of all the prophets.”
And they begin to describe the Muhammadan reality. All of the prophets were given from the Muhammadan light, that gave them the ability to deliver the message or confirm a prior message that had come. Sayyiduna Ta Ha (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is Tahir al-Hadi and they call that reality RasoolAllah. So when we’re saying Rasool-Allah, they want us to understand in the ma’rifa towards Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that this is the ocean of praise, that Sayyiduna Ahmad (alaihis salaam) is the center of this powerful reality of that ocean of praise. And then deeper into that is Sayyiduna Ya Seen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Now you’re at the fountainhead, mean like you’re looking at Niagara Falls where everything is shooting out of that reality. From that reality is coming Sayyiduna Ta Ha (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is the risaalat and the Rasool-Allah, that all creation, all prophets, all angels, all souls are in need of that guidance.
Understanding the word Rab رب (Lord)
Holy Quran 3:79
wa lakin koonoo rabbaniyeena bima kuntum tu allimoona al kitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoon
Yusuf Ali .. “Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly.”
So it comes to RasoolAllah and they begin to teach that: this is from highest reality of the rabbaniyoon. Means the lordly station and loftly stations of the soul, beause rabb is not Allah ‘Azza wa Jal; Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is the Creator, Rabb al-Bayt, Rabb al-Shar. We call rabb is an authority back home. They came back and changed the word and said rabb is Allah. No no, Allah is Allah! But the rabb is the authority. They say, “Who is the rabb of this shar, of this town, who is the mayor?” Then they come to you home, they say, “Who’s the rabb al-bayt? Who is the lord of the house?” Who’s the house of lords? It means that their souls are elevated, souls that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says in Holy Qur’an, “Be rabbaniyoon,” that your life is to acquire knowledge and, and teach knowledge. ‘Cause knowledge is the pursuit of power, Divinely power, not power on this earth where you manipulate and harm people. But knowledge dresses the soul and the reality of the soul.
The highest of these is Rabb al-‘Aalameen رب العالمين, Rahmatan lil-‘Aalameen رحمة للعالمين, the highest of this reality is the dress of RasoolAllah رسول الله. The seen س in the rasool رسول means he’s carrying the secret of that reality. The waw و of RasoolAllah is that he carries the secret of wadood ودود, that all this creation is created out of love: love for Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Allah (aj) said “I’m a hidden treasure wanting to be known. I’m going to give Myself to be known through the reality of Muhammadun RasoolAllah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).” So he’s rabb as-sirratil wadood: he’s the lord of the secret of love, Rasool- Ra ر , sool– that carries the rabb رب, secret of waw is the secret of love. And then upon the lam ل of rasool, is lisaan al-haqq لسان الحق. That’s why Messenger. Messenger must be delivering a message from somebody, message for Divinely presence is only for Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, beause he has yaqeen as Sami’, perfection of hearing (alaihis salaatus salaam).
“Because of the heart and the perfection of hearing, he is the Rasool (alaihis salaatus salaam). That he hears Me complete, I created him (alaihis salaam) for the purpose of hearing Me, and nobody hears Me like Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) hears Me,” and finished. And they begin to give us the understanding of RasoolAllah: he’s rabb as-sirratul wadood, and because of that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave lisaan al-haqq, that his tongue is the tongue of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal cannot be heard in the universe, in the heavens or on earth, except through Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). No angel has heard that reality, of the dialogue between Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. They don’t know with what energy, with what light, with what sounds that comes.
Even Holy Qur’an, Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) asked Sayyiduna Jibra’il (alaihis salaam), “Where’re you getting Qur’an revelation from?” Said [Jibra’il (alaihis salaam)], “Ya RasoolAllah, I go to a had, a limit in which there is a green veil. And from behind the veil, a hand comes, gives me what I am to recite and bring to you, I bring instantly that.”
[Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)] said, “This time I give you permission to look at that veil.” Sayyiduna Jibra’il went for the wahi. When it came to reveal, he went, saw the hand, a beautiful white hand of light, he opened the veil, and it was Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) [Audience: Subhanallah]. Said, from Muhammad, to Muhammad.
It means that RasoolAllah, the tongue of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Sayyiduna Ta Ha (alaihis salaatus salaam). Means that is then, the beauty of the Muhammad reality.
We pray that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal more and more opportunity to go deeper and deeper, that Mawlana Shaykh’s blessing and Mawlana Shaykh’s knowledges dress us and bless us. Give us the patience to understand, give us the ability to taffakur and contemplate, to be dressed by these lights, blessed by these lights and know that it’s not our cleverness. If you’re not able to celebrate Mawlid an-Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), I’m so sorry for you. If you’re not able to praise upon Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), we pray for you, that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal grant that ni’mat (blessing). It’s a ni’mat and a blessing from Allah ‘Azza wa Jal to be allowed to praise upon these realities, and to be allowed to enter within these realities.
Subhana rabbika rabbil ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen.
