REALITY Of 9, THE PERFECTED BEING
REALITY OF NINE 9,
THE PERFECTED BEING, FUSION AND MULTIPLICATION
From the Teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani
as Taught by Shaykh Sayed Nurjan Mirahmadi
9Alhamdulillah, remind ourselves in the way of nothingness while everything around us is constantly asking us to be from the ocean of something. That everything of dunya (material world) is meant to inflate us and the way of ma’rifa, the way of Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) is maqam al Ihsaan (State of Excellence); to pray as if you see Allah ‘Azza wa Jal.
Means that reality is in the reality of non-existence and la لا, which signified by lam alif لا in the huroof. The way of reality, its sum is in the la لا , its understanding is in the la and to be with the people of that reality, that to understand their movements, to understand the reality in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has given to them, and to follow that way and to follow that example. One of its ways of understanding and opening that reality is in the knowledge of numbers, that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has perfectly numbered everything, that the number code is the angelic reality.
And we have said many times before from Maulana Shaykh’s teachings: the kalaam كلام and the words have lots of room for error. Most computer programmers understood that. If you put the nuqt (dot) wrong, put the letter incorrect, that’s completely different meaning. The numeric code in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describes everything is perfectly numbered. And many will find the reality in that understanding. Means Allah ‘Azza wa Jal knew that in the last days, many in the fields of physics and sciences; they are seeing that everything is numbered, and perfectly numbered and perfectly organized and there is no randomness.
وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا ٢٨…
72:28 – …wa ahata bima ladayhim wa ahsa kulla shay in ‘adada. (Surat al Jinn)
… and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in numbers (The Jinn 72:28)
-From the understanding of numbers and realities, that everything is expressed in the numbers 1 through 9. And they are the most powerful and the building block of all creation. Everything else in two digits is the sum of these two numbers; so 12 is 1 and 2, 20 is 2 and zero. But the building block and the foundation of creation is expressed in the codes between one and nine. From the first month through the nine-month, the ninth month of the journey towards divine realities.
To reach that reality [reality of numbers], we don’t want to go from the beginning of its understanding, but ‘awwalu hu awwal’, one being the awwal (first) and nine being the aakhir (last). Means that these are the basic building codes of numeric understanding.
That understand our beginning and our origin from the Oneness of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal. And then the two is actually two ones 1-1. So you study logic, that one plus one they say is two, no actually it is one plus one. That one, the reality of two is the reflection of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal’s Ahadiya realities “wa Ruhul Wahid (alaihis salaatus salaam)”, that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is now opening the reality of “That two is a reflection of My Divinely realities,” means La ilaha ilAllah is one, Muhammadun RasoolAllah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is “arRoh al Wahid” (one soul); and the reality of the reflection of the one, all the way through the reality of numbers into the nine.
أَوَّلُ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ نُوْرِ نَبِيِّكَ يَا جَابِرْ
Awwalu ma khalaq Allahu noore Nabyika, Ya Jabir.
Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “The first thing that Allah created was your prophet’s light. “(referring to himself (saw)).
{From 1, “wa huwal Khalq Allah” is the reality of Sayyidena Muhammad’s soul. That the first of all Allah’s creation is expressed with that one. The Oneness, because this is the realities of creation so it means don’t make reference to Allah (aj) in the circle of creation. So Allah’s Ahadiya reality, unique oneness is dressing the oneness of Sayyidena Mohammad (saw), “Rohul Wahid”. That unique reality of prophet (saws), that all creation is from the reality of Sayyidena Mohammad (saws). From the circle of Sayyidena Muhammad (saw) is One, Anna Awwal, all the way to the nine representing the khatim خاتم (last one).}
Lamma Khalaq Allahu (aj) Adama Khayyara LeAdama banihi, faja’ala yara fadhayila ba’dehim ‘ala ba’din, Qala: Faraani Nooran saTe’an fi asfalehim, Faqala: Ya Rabbi! Man Hadha?
Qala: Hadha abnuka Ahmad (saws) Huwal Awwalu, wal Akharu, wa Huwa Awwalu Shafe’in.(Abi Huraira)
Abu Hurraira (ra) narrates from Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) that he said: When Allah created Adam (PBUH) He informed him of his descendants, at this Adam (PBUH) saw superiority of some over others, then he saw me towards the end in form of an “ILLUMINATING NOOR” (i.e. first to be created from Nur but sent in last),he (Adam) said: O my Lord who is this?
The Lord replied: This is your son Ahmed who is the first and the last and (on the Day of Judgment) he will be first to do intercession. [Imam Bayhaqi in Dalail an Nabuwwah: Vol. 005, Page 483]
Created Through the Light of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ
Praise be to Allah, the Exalted, the Wise; He who created man for Himself, possesses the entire universe.
Oh ye wishing to apprehend the divine secrets! Know then that Allah Almighty laid in the Prophet Muhammad {s} the base for the edifice of the prophets (on all of whom be peace), and that in him He would complete it; and to him He revealed the Glorious Book of the Quran. In it He has made plain his authority, and He has described him in all the holy books, the Torah (Old Testament), the Zabur (Psalms), the Injil (New Testament)and the Furqan (the Quran).
He has made him perfect by giving him the Liwa-al-Hamd, the Banner of Praise, and the Maqam-al-Mahmud, the Station of the Praiseworthy, thereby making him the light of both worlds, messenger to both Jinn and men, and enabling him to attain the secrets of proximity to the divine station by two bows’ lengths, and becoming the king of the world. Peace and blessings be upon his pure and meritorious family and his worthy companions who are pursuing the way of greatest righteousness.
Then Allah Almighty spoke thus:
Alif. Lam. Mim. Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Everlasting. He has sent down upon thee the Book with the truth, confirming what was before it, and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel aforetime, as guidance to the people and He sent down Salvation. As for those who disbelieve in God’s Signs, for them awaits a terrible chastisement; God is Almighty, Vengeful.
(The House of Imran, 1-4)
- And in a Hadith al-Qudsi He has said: “Were it not for you, I would not have created the universe.”
- It is related by Abdullah bin Abbas that the Holy Prophet {S} said:
“The very first thing that Allah Almighty ever created was my soul.” - In another place he is reported to have said: “First of all things, the Lord created my mind.”{ AGL}
- In yet another place he is to have said: “I am from Allah, and the believers are from me.”
How many proofs has He not brought to bear that all existent things are from Him, and that he r, is more excellent than all of creation!
The Qutb-al-Muhaqqiqin, the most eminent of those who verify, Sayyidina ‘Ali, has said:
- Before the Lord Almighty created the divine throne and the divine court, Heaven and Hell, the worlds and the skies,
- He created the light of our Prophet Muhammad {s}.
- He created his soul three hundred twenty-four years before He created the soul of Adam u.
Thereafter Allah Almighty created twelve veils, namely:
- the veils of power,
- grandeur,
- kindness,
- mercy,
- bliss,
- munificence,
- high station,
- guidance,
- prophecy,
- eminence,
- awe, and
- the veil of intercession.
Thereafter the Prophet’s [as] soul remained wrapped in the veil of power for twelve thousand years; and for eleven thousand years it remained within the veil of grandeur. For ten thousand years it remained in the veil of kindness; for nine thousand years in the veil of mercy; for eight thousand years in the veil of bliss; for seven thousand years in the veil of munificence; for six thousand years in the veil of high station; for five thousand years in the veil of guidance; for four thousand years in the veil of prophethood; for three thousand years in the veil of eminence; for two thousand years in the veil of awe; and for one thousand years his soul remained in the veil of intercession.
- After this it stayed on the divine throne for six thousand years.
- Thereafter the Lord Almighty took it and brought it to the offspring of Adam’s u loins.
- From Adam’s u loins it passed to Seth u, from Seth u to Idris u and from Idris u to Nuh u.
- Thus it was transferred all the way down to Abdullah bin Abdul-Muttalib. Finally it came to this world in the city of Mecca.
It is reported that the Lord Almighty created a tree from the light of him who is the pride of the world. This tree had four branches, and it was called the tree of certainty.
- The light of Muhammad {s} was manifested as a veil made of white pearls.
- It was placed upon this tree shaped as a peacock, and there it remained for one thousand years,
- steeped in the remembrance of Allah Almighty.
- Then the Lord created the mirror of modesty and placed it opposite the peacock.
- When the peacock looked into the mirror, he beheld a most beautiful face and form in it, and it became shamed before its glorious aspect, and prostrated itself five times.
- Therefore, five daily prayers became incumbent upon us, from that prostration.
- The Lord Almighty trained His gaze upon that light once more.
- From shyness, that light began to perspire under the gaze of the Almighty.
- From the sweat upon his brow, the Almighty then created the angels.
- From the sweat upon his face, He created the throne, the divine court, the tablets and the pen, the sun, the moon and the stars.
- From the sweat upon his breast, He created the prophets and the messengers, the holy martyrs and the men of knowledge, and those of righteousness.
- From the sweat on his feet He then created the worlds and what is contained within them, up to the lowest of all stations of Hell and what is in it.
Then the Lord Almighty spoke: “Oh Muhammad, look before you!” Nabi Muhammad ﷺ did so and he saw that all was replete with light.
- The light before him was the light of Abu Bakr.
- The light behind him was the light of ‘Umar.
- The light to his right was the light of ‘Uthman,
- the light to his left was the light of ‘Ali, may Allah be well pleased with them all.
- Then the light of Muhammad {s} began to praise the Lord for seventy thousand years.
- After this, the souls of the prophets were created.
When Allah had created the souls of the prophets, they all spoke
La ilaha illAllah, Muhammad-ur-Rasulullah.
Then Allah created a lamp.
- He placed the soul of Muhammad {s} upon this lamp in the very same shape he was to appear in this world, and he was as if in prayer.
- The souls of all the prophets performed tawaf (circumambulation) around the soul of Muhammad {s} for two hundred thousand years.
- Then the Lord ordered them to look at Muhammad {s}.
- The souls then gazed upon him.
- Whoever gazed upon his head became a king in this world.
- He whose gaze fell upon his forehead became one of the just. He who espied his chest became a man of learning.
- In brief, whichever part of his blessed body the soul cast its gaze upon, it was endowed with just such an art or craft as corresponded to that member.
Thereafter Allah Almighty commanded the people to perform their ritual prayer in the shape of the name “Ahmed”.
- That is to say: the prayer position of qiyam (standing upright) resembles the Arabic letter ‘alif’.
- The ruk’u (bending from the waist) resembles the letter ‘ha’,
- the sajda (prostration) resembles the letter ‘mim’, and
- the final position of jalsa (kneeling) resembles the letter ‘dal’.
- (In Arabic the name Ahmad contains these consonants: alif, ha, mim, dal).
Then the Lord Almighty created the Prophet’s {s}esembling in their forms the shape of the name “Muhammad”.
- The head is round, like the letter ‘mim’.
- The two hands resemble the letter ‘ha’,
- the belly again resembles a ‘mim’, and
- the feet resemble a ‘dal’.
And now, oh ye desirous of learning divine secrets! I will now put forth to you the circumstances of the birth of the Holy Prophet , his mission and the revelation of the Quran and its holy words, by the leave of the Almighty Lord, Allah.
Nine 9 is the Sultan of Numbers
The nine being the sultan (king) of numbers, nine being the highest of numbers because after nine becomes double digit, becomes one and zero, one and one, one and two, two and zero, two and one. The highest number, the highest power, is the reality of that nine. And if we study nine in mathematics, they call it a miraculous number. Anything that you multiply nine by, it returns itself to nine. It’s important, that reality because the nine symbolizes the sultan, the perfection of Insaan al Kamil, the Perfected Being. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants us to know, it is the nine of creation. It’s a miraculous reality that I have given to creation, and that nine is truly a zero: it submits itself to becoming nothing.
Miraculous Nature of Number 9
So many different scientific equations and mathematicians will begin to talk about the miraculous nature of nine. But for us, nine multiplied by two goes back to nine: eighteen, one and eight. Nine multiplied by four becomes thirty six, ‘cause three and six back to nine. Its miraculous nature Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing that: this perfected reality, whatever it multiplies itself by will render itself back to that reality.
Nine 9 and The Ocean of Annihilation
Annihilation in the Ocean of Prophet (saws)
{-“Nine is the Sultan (King) in numbers. Anything fused and multiplied by nine reduces itself back to nine; showing you its power of annihilation. With whatever character you approach, with whatever think we think, when we approached the reality of prophet (saws), he annihilates every bit of your uniqueness, make you to be nothing and bring us into the uniqueness of Sayyidena Muhammad (saw). That is the reality of annihilation because we come into the world like a drop and we give ourselves form and importance relative to who we are. So we see ourselves very big, as soon as we into the plane up in the sky what happens? Hey where am I? And that is what prophet (saws) wants from us, that look you are nothing. You are giving yourself relevant to who you think you are in importance; in this universe you are epsilon, nothing, nonexistent, and not even visible .
That is the ocean of annihilation. So with all characters they come, so Allah (aj) wants them to complete that favor by “La ilaha IlAllah”. To reach the realities in the secrets La ilaha ilAllah, Allah (aj) granted the secret of Muhammadun RasolUllah. That come towards that reality it will efface all of your identity, and bring you as a drop back into the ocean. So we said before as Mawlana Shaykh’s teaching, as many drops as you add together, they always come one. Form can be many but one drop plus one drop plus one drop is always one drop. One light plus One light plus One light is what? One light
1 Drop+1 Drop = 1 Drop
1 light +1 light +1 light = 1 Light.
It means in the world of light, it goes back in its natural reality of oneness. So Prophet (saws) annihilates the form and that is the concept of the Hajj (pilgrimage to Ka’ba). That prophet (saws) wanted us to understand. With all your identity, and all your wealth, and all your uniqueness, and all your talent, and your thoughts of who you are; you come for Hajj; take all your clothes off, take all your identity off, take all your wealth off. Wear two robes and circumambulate in an ocean of millions of people. Again from the outside you look, it’s just the white ocean moving; just like the drop that got you into this world, like a drop of sperm, no identity, just white and shiny.
Miracles of 9 and Angles of a Circle:
It means everything about the nine teaches us to efface. And they begin to teach the reality of that nine; it annihilates everything. And what comes after the 9, is a nuqt, it is a dot. A dot from a distance is a dot but when you take that nuqt, and take that dot with the microscope and begin to look, what do you see? The dot opens, you begin to see a circumference and still another dot, because the pen that you put it on, it leaves that dot. As you analyze under a microscope or electron microscope and go into it, that dot as you approach it becomes a circumference with another dot in the middle. You zoom more; it becomes a bigger circumference with another circumference of the dot that you saw before with another dot still in the middle. This universe is infinitely capable of expanding and that is the reality of the nine.
They begin to teach that in geometry when we study the circle, anyway you cut the circle it is a nine. That’s how that nine will efface you and bring you back to your reality, the reality of what you exist in this circle of creation. It means if you take that circle and break it with four lines, the ninety degrees it’s a nine. The circle itself is three hundred and sixty 360 degrees, three plus 6, plus zero is a 9.
Circle = 360 degrees= 3+6+0 = 9
Half Circle – 180 degrees = 1+8+0 = 9
270 = 2+7+0=9
90 = 9+0=9
Ninety degrees is a nine. It means in any way you cut this circle, 45 degree angle, 60 degree angle, it will render itself back to a nine.
Reality of Dot and Submission
So then the reality of the 9 when it annihilates, it takes you to be a Nuqt, that’s why they call it submission. It takes you to annihilation and takes you back to the point of zero [in Arabic zero is written in the form of a dot]. Because we don’t have a circle, we have a nuqt (dot). That nuqt, is what is the ocean of annihilation.
So you have One, 1, 2345678, all small and then a nine.
1, 2, 3,4,5,6,7,8, 9
19
What do you see? 19 this is now the secret of nineteen. Then the dot and begins to open the reality of the dot and the reality of annihilation. That we are all just points on the circumference trying to make our way into the center of realities
Ramadan – 9th Lunar Month
We spoke before from Mawlana Shaykh’s teachings, that the holy month of nine, and the holy month of Ramadan is under the secret of the nine, under the secret of that reality. And that nine is the Sultan (king) of numbers. It is the power of annihilation that they want to take us on a twelve month journey, because 12 signifies completion. Our life is eternal. We move through the door of the first lunar month, that first hijab (veil), and it is dayeem, it is an eternal journey and eternal purification process.
The power of Ramadan is that when you fast the month of Ramadan, Allah (aj) annihilates all bad characteristics from the power of Holy Quran. It means all of the individual-ness that makes us to be far from the world of light, will be annihilated with Ramadan. That’s why the ninth month, Allah (aj) ordered the fasting. That with the power of the Holy Quran, I’m going to annihilate everything that is keeping you from this reality and is keeping you to want to be an independent drop. So it annihilates and effaces and brings us back into the ocean of oneness.
Reality of 10 (١٠)
The month that opens the 10, has to do with being nothing, to reach the presence of the one. Once they efface you and make you to submit, you are like a dot, nothing. What’s going to come now is the two-digit numbers One and zero ١٠ , which is a dot . If they take you to the point of being a dot, to be nothing qashiya, then they begin to take you into the tenth month, which is into the movement into the presence of the divinely oceans into the heavenly kingdom. They take the dot to move into the president of the One. To be dressed by the presence of the One, to be blessed by the presence of the one.
[To learn more about the Secretes of Number 10, please refer to
Shawwal – The Power of Number 10, Binary Code. ]
Reality of 11 and Mirroring
Then the 11th month opens the reality where Allah (aj), if it takes the dot like a binary code, if you are nothing and enter in a state of nothingness and effacing oneself into the presence of that light, on the 11th months Allah (aj) dresses with the realities of 11. That if you are nothing in My presence, Allah (aj) merely begins to send through prophet (saw), a light onto the soul onto the being, that from your nothingness, now appear! From the Fana of nothing to the Baqa. It means now you have an existence in our presence, with their permission. Means that they gave you permission to rise.
If at that time they rise, that rise that one reflects from the reality of one and that is the reality of 11 and mirroring. All the way to the twelve month which is the Hajj (pilgrimage to Ka’bah).
[To learn more about the Secretes of Number 11, please refer to
Secrets of Number 11 – Divine Mirror and Lam Alif 29 – Fana.]
Reality of 12 – Soul’s Pilgrimage
This is a Hijrah into divinely presence. This is the Hijrah and the reality of the pilgrimage of the soul, the soul’s pilgrimage. The body’s pilgrimage is going and doing all the things necessary by Shariàh. But the soul’s pilgrimage is that the Ramadan effaced it, brought it into the presence of the mirror, dressed it from the realities of the mirror, and brought it into the presence of the Hijrah and the 12th months. And the 12th represents the secret of completion. We pray that Allah (aj) gives us life to see the 11th month and then to see the 12th months. And to be dressed by that twelve month.
Twelve month this year, they say it may be very exciting. All that they are talking about in other places, it is falling on the Àrafat and Eidul Adha. And the realities of Eidul Adha, has to do with the realities of Sayyidena Mahdi (as). The 12th months is under the 12th Imam. That every month is guarded by the Ahlel Bayt e Prophet (saws) and other realities for Ashabin Nabi (saw). The twelve month and the 12th Imam has to do with Sayyidena Mahdi (as). That is why rohaniyat (spirit) of Sayyidena Mahdi (as) is always on Àrafat, on Jabal al Rahma (Mountain of Mercy). He represents a tremendous blessing coming onto the nation and for the difficulties and sacrifices that are coming towards humanity, then Sayyidena Mahdi (as) has an important presence in that reality for munajjat, for duàs, and for sanctifying the nation. We pray that Allah (aj) let us to reach to those realities, to be dressed by those realities, and be blessed by those realities.}
Annihilation in ‘Ibadur Rahman
Means that the secret of multiplication is the fana (annihilation). It’s the fusion: you are fusing a nine with a two to get a result. Means you are bringing something, two elements together to get a result, a third element. What Allah ‘Azza wa Jal is teaching that, “With this nine, if you can fuse your reality with a nine, if you can connect your heart with the souls that I have given these realities to, these are Ibaadur Rahman
عباد الرحمن.
Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describes them in Suratul Rahman in Holy Qur’an, “’Alam al-Qur’an, khalaq al-insaan,” these are not regular souls.
الرَّحْمَـٰنُ ﴿١﴾ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ ﴿٢﴾ خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ ٣
55:1-3 – Ar Rahmaan. ‘Allamal Qur’an. Khalaqal Insaan. (Surat Ar Rahman)
The Most Merciful. It is He Who has taught the Qur’an. He has created Man. (The Beneficent 55: 1-3)
Reality of Noor (Light)
Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describes throughout the Qur’an, “Whom We have given a noor (light), they have a noor (light), and who We have not given a noor, they have no noor (light).”
يَهْدِي اللَّـهُ لِنُورِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ …٣٥
yahdellahu linoorihi man yashao. …(Surat An Noor)
Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light… (The Light, 24:35)
It’s not a noor (light) that you can achieve through amal (action). You can pray all day long. If Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has not given that reality, there’s no way to achieve that reality. You can do any amal you want through the door of amal but you cannot achieve that light which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal giving. That is a gift and a ni’mah (blessing) from Allah ‘Azza wa Jal and that’s why then the whole secret of companionship.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ ١١٩
9:119 – Ya ayyuhal ladheena amanoo ittaqollaha wa kono ma’as sadiqeen.
(Surat at Tawba)
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true. (The Repentance 9:119)
Companions of Prophet (s) Are Stars
Accompany Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) because he has been given that light. Accompany the Ahlul Bayt anNabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) because they are inheritors of that light. Accompany Ashaab un Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), they are the perfections of that light. And that light Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) described in holy hadith, “Follow my companions. They are like a najm,”a star.
أَصْحَابِيْ كَالنُّجُـــومْ بِأَيْهِمْ اَقْتَدَيْتِمْ اَهْتَدَيْتِمْ
Ashabi kan Nujoom, bi ayyihim aqta daytum ahta daytum.
“My companions are like stars. Follow any one of them and you will be guided.” Prophet Muhammad (saws)
A star on a dark night. There can be many lights but why Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) wanted us to know najm (star)? Because later when we study astrology and study the stars in the heaven; a star is different than a planet. It’s a source of light, that there is a reaction within its being, it has virtually no mass. It’s a fire, a [is it fusion or fission?] fusion, the energy that comes together.
We use fission and explode. Divine brings together clean energy and produces eternal realities. These are not exploding, but these are constantly producing energy. ‘Noor ala noor’ نور علي نور, Suratul Noor, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describes them; light upon light means you can’t understand where its light is coming, from ‘Izzatullah. Means that light is a Divinely Light.
24:35 – Allahu noorus samawati wal ardi. mathalu noorehi kamishkatin feeha misbahun, almisbahu fee zujajatin, azzujajatu kaannaha kawkabun durriyyun … yakadu zaytuha yudeeo wa law lam tamsashu naarun. noorun ‘ala noorin, yahdellahu linoorihi man yashao. …(Surat An Noor)
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: … though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light…
And then math and the reality of numeric code begins to teach us that this is the reality of the Nines. They are the gifted souls, purified souls in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has granted them ‘alam al Qur’an because the source of their noor is Qur’an.
ق ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ ١
50:1 – Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed.
Qaf. By the honored Qur’an. (Surat Qaf 50:1)
Qaaf is ‘Izzatullah, the noon that you’re reading and being dressed from the noon of Qur’an is from that qaaf. ‘Cause they say, “What light? What you are talking about? You talking about fluorescent light, sunlight.” No, ‘alam al-Qur’an’ Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing, “I gave them from My qaaf,” qaaf wal Qur’an al Majeed, it testifies. The Qur’an testifies to that qaaf.
Reality of Holy Quran is Noor (Light)
Can Sunbathing make you a Sun?
And Allah ‘Azza wa Jal describing the reality of Holy Qur’an is a noor (light), that we are trying to achieve it, we are trying to be blessed by it, like a sunbathing. You can sunbathe all you want but it is not going to make you the sun, it’s going to make you very dark like a burned chicken. You sit all day long, you say, “I’m going to sit in the sun, I’m going to sit in the sun till I become the sun,” No, no, you are going to be a burned chicken. The sun is the sun, whom Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave that reality, they can suntan people. But you sit in the sun all you want, you’re not going to be a sun. They are teaching a reality that these souls are gifted souls. This is the reality of nine. These are the reality of the sultan of realities, the sultan of souls, that anything that dressed by that reality, anything dressed by that soul will render itself back to a nine.
Means these are the realities of al-fana’ and the annihilation, that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal gave these souls such a dress, that what he wants from us is to follow them, be with them, accompany them. They have the ability to change you into them. Because math also shows us you multiply yourself with your friend, who is a four, you are a two, you’re not going to be back to nine. You become something completely different. Husband and wife, they multiply themselves, they become something different. Anyone else you physically and spiritually connect yourself with, you be something different.
Ibadur Rahman عباد الرحمن Are The Real Suns
But the souls of the nine souls of this code, these are from ibaadur Rahman. Ibaadur Rahman عباد الرحمن, they make you into ibaadur Rahman. Your souls will be affected by them; where others, they can teach you ulum (knowledge). You can go for Jummah, you can go for studying hadith, you go for studying Qur’an, you go for studying many different things. They can dress your brain but they cannot dress your heart. They give you a knowledge in your head, your head is clever, picks it up and you try to bring it into your heart. But ibaadur Rahman عباد الرحمن , they not only entertain your head but they will dress your heart. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has give them, these are the Olul al baab أُوْلِي الألباب the People of the Door. What door? Is the heart.
قَلْبَ الْمُؤْمِنْ بَيْتُ الرَّبْ
qalb al mu’min baytur rabb.
“The heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.”
The owner of that heart, ‘qalb al mumin baytullah,’ Allah’s only mu’min (believer) is Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). And when Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) holds the keys, he gives to his ashaab (companions) and he gives to his Ahlul Bayt. And those that are the Ahlul Muhabbat and the people of love, the people of realities. When Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) raises their darajat, grants them the key, that, “I am the City of Knowledge,” means, “I am the reality of Bismillahir rahmanir raheem.” ‘Cause every knowledge is from Bismillahir rahmanir raheem.
“انا مدينة العلم و علي بابها”
“ana madinatul-ilmin wa `Aliyyun baabuha.”
Prophet ﷺ said: “I am city of knowledge and `Ali is the door.”
“Wa ‘Ali baabahu,” Ali is the baab of hu (alaihis salaatus salaam) means Sayyidina ‘Ali (alaihis salaam) is the caretaker for that ba of Bismillahir rahmanir raheem. The reality of that city, the city of all knowledges, is in that ba. And from the family of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) represents the reality of Sayyidina Ali (alaihis salaam).
And then the Ashaban Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), they come to perfect like the stars, perfect the character, the akhlaaq (manners) and we’re going to take you on a tour within that city. But what we are entering into these realities is they are teaching us, these great figures inheriting from Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), they are the nines of creation, that Allah gave their soul a miraculous reality. As much as you connect with them, as much as you want to be like them, as much as you take as an example from them, they will dress you and fuse you from that reality of nine.
Means that they are taking from the nine of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), whatever they are, of the twenty seven, thirty six, fifty four, forty five; in the end they are the reflection of the nine.
In the numeric code Allah is showing you the reality of fana (annihilation). That as much as you connect your heart with Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), you will be from the Muhammadan dress. As much as you connect your heart with Ashaabun Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), with Ahlul Bayt an-Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and the inheritors, who are awliya Allah, is as much as you connect your heart with them, any one of them, Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) described, “They are like stars on a night, that the light that they have, they’re going to dress you and it will render you back to me (alaihis salaatus salaam).” Means it’s going to dress us from the ultimate nine, Insaan al-Kamil, who has the perfection of all realities, the awwal, that he carries the One 1 of Allah ‘Azza wa Jal given La ilaha illa-Llah Muhammadun RasolAllah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and the aakhir is that “I am the perfection and the khaatem, I am the Seal of creation.” And Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) carries that reality of nineteen 19. The first of the souls to be created and the perfection of the form to come onto dunya.
9th Chapter of Quran, Surat at Tawba – Sacrifice
Means for us to understand that nine, means then every year is a ma’rifa towards that reality. That while regular creation is trying to perfect themselves they move through the gates from one through twelve, first month to the twelfth month. The people of the reality of nine, they move through the base nine number.
The first surah that they direct themselves, reading all of Holy Qur’an, but the door for their reality is Suratul Tawbah, the ninth surah: (has) no Bismillah. No Bismillahir rahamanir raheem, that is a sign of that reality. No Bismillahir rahmanir raheem because the caretaker of that door wants you to take your bad character away. Now you see every shaytaan cutting other people’s heads. What they want, the owners of this reality, is you cut your own head, cut your own shaytaan, cut all your own bad character. Don’t worry about anyone else’s character.
And then the schools of tarbiyah (manners) were the perfection of that reality. If we don’t know that reality, we don’t know the school in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has enrolled us in. That, these awliya Allah, they are the owners of that surah. Means as soon as Muharram (first lunar month) comes, the first of these realities under the hand of Sayyiduna Ali (alaihis salaam) and teaches, that you’re entering into Muharram, no haram. You’re entering into the realities of Surat at Tawbah and you’re going to make a tawbah and istighfar and you’re going to sacrifice yourself.
That’s why there is no Bismillahir rahmanir raheem, is only Bismillah Allahu Akbar. You can’t say Bismillahir rahmanir raheem and make a zabiyah ‘cause with Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem you’re saying that, “Ya Rabbi I’m not going to sacrifice myself this year, maybe next year. Let’s postpone this awhile and take it easy with me.” But they’re teaching us, these are the owners of the Kawthar, they’re coming and teaching us ‘fasalli li rabbika wanhar’– pray unto your Lord and know that everything about yourself must be put onto the table and must be sacrificed.
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ٢
108:1-Fasalli li rabbika wanhar
So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. (3) (The Abundance 108:1)
Then that reality of Surat ut Tawbah begins, ‘cause even Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq is in Surat ut Tawbah. The fourth ayah describes that they went to the cave, the two of them. And they were not alone but Allah ‘Azza wa Jal was with them. That is the reality of the opening of the Naqshbandiya reality within Surat ut Tawbah: that they describe for us that we have to understand that they are going to come into our lives and teach us how to sacrifice, how to reach to being a nine, how to be annihilated in their fana’, in their love, their muhabbat, means keeping their love.
Illa tansuroohu faqad nasarahullahu idh akhrajahul ladheena kafaro thaniya ithnayni idh huma fil ghari idh yaqolu lisahibihi la tahzan inna Allaha ma’ana, fa anzalAllahu sakeenatahu, ‘alayhi wa ayyadahu, bi junodin lam tarawha wa ja’ala kalimatal ladheena kafaro assufla, wa kalimatUllahi hiya al’ulya, wAllahu ‘Azeezun Hakeem. (Surat at Tawba 9:40)
“If you do not aid the Prophet – Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, “Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.” And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah – that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.” (The Repentance 9:40)
That love attracts us to them, the hudur is taught on how to keep their presence, remember them. How can you love that which you don’t keep in your presence? Means think about them, celebrate them. Everything about our lives is in their remembrance. Put their names upon your tongue often so that hudur and that presence and then you begin to train to connect your heart to be with them, that, “Ya Rabbi, I’m saying in my salaah ‘as-salaamu alaika ayyuhan nabi wa salaamun alaikum ala ibaadillahis saaliheen’. Ya Rabbi, let me to always be with the ibaadillahis saaliheen, of which I know one of them is my shaykh, sultan al-awliya. One of them is my shakyh, Maulana Shaykh Hisham; one of them are from 124,000 awliya Allah,” that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has us naming it in our salaah.
In your salaah give them salaams, don’t think you’re abtar and you’re out there by yourself. You’re not going to achieve anything by yourself, that keep always the understanding that Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) name in your presence. And that who are in the presence of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), “Ya Rabbi, let me to be annihilated by them, to be filled with the love of them, to be dressed by their hudur and constantly keeping them in my presence, in my thoughts and in my prayers until I can enter the oceans of the Fana’. And as I begin to see and I focus on their lights and asking, ya Rabbi, let me to be dressed by those lights,” ‘cause they’re going to take my light and multiply it by their reality, which is the secret of grafting.
Means in this world of light that’s moving, if you move into their light, their ocean of colors, their ocean of realities that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has dressed them of Holy Qur’an, their light begins to move within our lights. Begin to dress within our lights, begin to change and to bless everything about our reality ‘cause they’re going to bring out the secret of that fusion.
That, that nine soul, that reality of that nine, when that light of that soul is moving, it merely moves into your soul, dresses it from its reality and begins the process of fusion and you are becoming a nine. As much as you can keep that dress, keep that dress, keep that connection, keep that reality, as much as your lights are changing, your reality is changing.
What stops us from that light are sins: bad character and bad actions. They immediately put a cut. They put a cut and make that connection to be lost. And they teach us, that: make a tawbah, make a repentance, Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, Ghafor ur Raheem and keep moving, keep moving, keep moving into that connection. Everything is about losing the self.
Sacrifice is Not an Easy Process
The zabiyah (sacrifice) is not an easy process. It’s not a school that you sit here and eat the food for free and say, “I reached ma’rifa.” No, no, they are going to zabiyah you. Not like on TV, ‘cause they watch on these shows and they think that it’s like that. This is a spiritual zabiyah where you have you fight yourself. You have to fight to get into paradise. Allah’s paradises are not cheap. These realities and these stations are not cheap but you fight and you compete against yourself to reach these realities, that, “Ya Rabbi, I want to reach that reality. I want to sit with them, be dressed by them, be blessed with them,” then Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, “Then emulate and copy them.”
They are the ones that put their entire life and being on the table, that they sacrifice themselves to be of service and they live a life of sacrifice. They constantly battling themselves, that, why we have to sacrifice, why we have to sacrifice, why we have to sacrifice? And they begin to remind because they are from ‘Fa salli li rabbika wanhar, inna shaani aka huwal abtar’.
108:1-3 – Inna ‘atayna kal kawthar (1) Fasalli li rabbika wanhar (2) Inna shani aka huwal abtar. (3) (Surat al Kawthar)
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar. (1) So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. (2) Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off. (3) (The Abundance 108:1)
That “We have given to you ‘Inna a’taynaa kal Kawthar’. We gave you the Kawthar. And all your life, you are going to pray unto your Lord and sacrifice. And every time you sacrifice, we’re going to cut every shaytaan that is coming after you.” And our whole life is based on that struggle. Means if you don’t know with what number you are sitting with, we don’t know what is taking place within ourselves. They are going to multiply us and fuse us into that reality and bring us into these oceans; so that we can inherit from those lights, inherit from those realities.
How to tame your inner Wild Animal – Ego
But their stations are unimaginably high and they make for us a pathway that is much easier than the way that they walked. And they remind us that it is the path of haqq and it’s paved with sabr: ‘Wa tawa saw bil haqqi wa tawa saw bis sabr’,
103 – 1-3: Wa ‘l-`asr. Innal insaana lafee khusr. IllaL ladheena aamano wa `amilos saalihaati, wa tawaasaw bil haqi wa tawaasaw bis sabr. (Surat al ‘Asr)
By al ‘Asr (the time)! Verily, Mankind is in loss. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. (The Declining Day, 103:1-3)
That every time you feel a difficulty, every time we feel an argument, every time we feel a waswas (Confusion), every time we feel that attack, they are reminding it’s another blow to the nafs (ego). You have to destroy that nafs. That nafs is a wild dog. Their association doesn’t allow dogs because it is najis. And we find more comfort in being with other dogs than to be with them. Ibaadur Rahman, they don’t like dogs and they think them to be dirty and najis. The wild character is a dog and that dog is not allowed.
So means the whole way of purification is to slay the dog, not the physical dog, the spiritual, the wild wolf within us. That when the children are small, they are like a baby wolf and everyone thinks they are cute. But immediately you can spot out their wild character, that if you love that character to be wild, as it becomes big, …. becomes a big wolf and that big wolf can eat many things. And the wolves, they like to be with other wolves. So they like going to other places and talking bad and gossiping and every bad characteristic, and they have a difficult time in here ‘cause they don’t like wolves here, they don’t like dogs here.
So everything about their training is they’re going to send a light that hits that wolf, hits that dog. And everything about the testing: stay quiet. Stay silent, do your zikr, make salawat. Let that animal to be brought down, the wildness to be brought down.
The Struggle continues…
That is the importance of this month, that every year is a moving towards Allah ‘Azza wa Jal in an eternal circle, that as soon as Muharram comes, we’re asking from the Olul Albaab أُوْلِي الألباب , the caretakers of that door, that, “Yet again another year Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has given to us. Ya Olul Albaab أُوْلِي الألباب” that, “let us to move into your way.”
Then they remind us, “Then don’t forget that you are going to be drinking from the Kawthar and you are going to be sacrificed, praying unto your Lord and sacrificing.” And your whole life is about sacrificing, and at any time you stop and say that, “My sacrifice is going to end,” your way has already been lost. Until you’ve taken your last breath, there is no retiring. There is no one that they put from Olul Albaab أُوْلِي الألباب , they let them to go to Hawaii, they say, “Now you can retire.”
Our retirement is the grave, that when Allah ‘Azza wa Jal say, “I’m going to open for you, your rijalAllah. I’m going to open in this dunya My realities,” or they waited and they died in that way, and Allah opened for them in the grave.
Means we pray that Allah ‘Azza wa Jal give us the strength and himmat (zeal) to keep going. Give us the ability to understand what Allah ‘Azza wa Jal has enrolled us in. And the reality in which Allah ‘Azza wa Jal wants to bless our soul is nothing that we can achieve by ourself other than to struggle. By struggling and being consistent, by struggling, being consistent, they are dressing, they are dressing, they are dressing from these lights that will raise us.
Subhana rabbika rabbil ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen.
Birahmati Muhammadi Mustafa bi sirri-Suratul Fatiha.
