HEART OF QUR’AN
SECRETS OF YA SEEN
Surah YaSeen Series
From the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani as Taught by Mawlana Shaykh Sayed Nurjan Mirahmadi
A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ١
Tabarakal ladhee bi yadihi mulku wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay in qadeer.(Surat al Mulk)
Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He has power over all things. (Holy Quran 67:1)
فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ٨٣
Fasubhanal ladhee biyadihi Malakotu kulli shay in wa ilayhi turja’oon. (Surah YaSeen)
So, Exalted is He in Whose Hand is the dominion over everything in Heavens and to Him you will be returned. (Holy Quran, Yasin 36:83)
Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) describes that, “Tabarakal ladhi bi yadihil mulk,” “Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion…” (Al-Mulk 67:1) “Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion…” (Al-Mulk:1) and “Subhanal ladhi bi Yadihi malakut kulli Shay” “ Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things in Heaven!” ( Surah YaSeen 36:83)
Means that for us to understand there are teachings of the reality of mulk World of Form, and there are teachings from malakut World of Subtlety.
Mulk, you can go anywhere, from the ilm of mulk. You can learn your usool, you can learn from shari’a, you can learn how to pray, how to wash, how to fast; all of these oceans are available, but from ilm al-malakut, which, for our English-speaking people, is the knowledge of light, the knowledge of the soul, when we say light, it’s not the fluorescent light, it’s the light of the soul. That Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) describes, “What do you think was harder to make- you or the heavens?” Means now azimatullah, means that when we talk about malakut, you talking about, it even encompasses the mulk, because the energy we don’t see, we now know from our science and from our little bit of schooling, that even that energy is controlling the form, controlling everything physical.
So the oceans of malaa’ika (angels) which are qudra (power), the oceans of nur (light), the oceans of reality Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) describing, there are hands that hold the malakut. Because tonight insha’Allah is about Surat Yaseen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that heart of Holy Qur’an, that for us to understand that the ilm and the knowledge that they ask us to seek is from the malakut. Don’t waste your time always just with the mulk, you can get that from YouTube. You have to have a solid understanding of shari’a, of all the fiqh – but day in, day out the same subject?? And no food, no energy, for the sustenance of the soul? And what Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) described of iman, Nur ul-Iman (light of faith) (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), is that: “You have to love me more than you love yourself,” hub (love).
The only thing we’re interested in is to build the ocean of iman (faith), which is based on nur (light), which is based on love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Means there are people who teach from the mulk, and there are those whom Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) describes: ibaadur-Rahmaan (servants of the Merciful). He gives His subhan, and describes: their hand is holding the malakut–
فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ٨٣
“Fa subhanal ladhi bi yadihi malakotu kulli Shay in”.
“Therefore Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things!” (Holy Quran 36:83)
Why?
أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ…
Atee’ullaha wa atee’ur Rasoola wa Ulil amre minkum…(Surat an-Nisa,)
“ Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you.” (Holy Quran, 4:59)
It means there are categories of ulil amr, that Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) supports them from the heavens. You can get support from dunya, so you go to somebody, a police officer, a politician, everybody needs support, don’t say shirk because you become munafiq (a hypocrite) and lying.
Danger is to be a munafiq where you say that one thing is a shirk in Allah’s way but you use it every time in dunya. As soon as you have problem, you call your mobile phone, “Oh police, please help me.” Why you don’t just sit there and say, “Ya Rabbi, send police,” because you not at that level of iman. You need a waseelah and a means in which to bring this barakah and these blessings.
So they begin to teach the way of iman, and to bring that light, they begin to describe that nur ul-iman (the light of faith) is love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that you have to build, we have to build, an effort to love Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) more than we love ourselves. Means if you love Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) you should be busy all day long in durood-e-sharif. There’s no limit in durood-e-sharif. As much as you’re praising upon Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is praising upon you [Audience: Subhanallah].
So awliya Allah come and teach us, when you take a path towards the oceans of light, you realise yourself to be very da’eef, that, “Ya Rabbi, how I’m going to lift myself out of this garbage? How am I going to lift myself with my understanding of usool, where I can’t stop smoking, can’t stop drinking, can’t stop partying, can’t stop going to the wrong places.” Means they teach us, awliya Allah come into our lives, they take a path of being weak, that you do your practices, but seek out that which is strong. Means as soon as you begin to love Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), one durood-e-sharif and Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) making ten durood-e-sharif upon us [Audience: Subhanallah].
Means you stop thinking you gonna lift yourself out of the problem and say, “Ya Rabbi anabdi ahjis, wa da’eef, wa miskeen wa zalim wa jahal. I have no way out of this difficulty except through the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).” And then you begin to read Dalaalal Khairat and all durood sharif, that, “Oh my God, this love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).”
The ashiqeen, when they love Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) more than they love themselves, you read Dalaalal Khairat and it’s all your du’as, but you’re asking Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) to grant to Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) [Audience: Subhanallah]: “Grant Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) nur (light), ya Rabbi, grant Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) darajat (ranks), grant Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) take away difficulties from Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), take difficulties away from the family of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), grant him all that You promised him in Your paradises, grant him from every leaf of every tree, blessings and salawat.”
And you begin to see, these were the awliya Allah teaching, that when you busy yourself with yourself, you are by yourself. But when you busy yourself worrying about Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), praying upon Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that, ‘Ya Rabbi, grant Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that infinite darajat, and I’m sinking. Ya Rabbi, grant Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) Your Infinite Light and I have no light, and I’m going down. Grant Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and all his family their paradises, my family is burning.” What do you think Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), will say, “Ya Rabbi, what is this ‘abd?” He’s in a chawl, he’s in a hole, his family is in difficulty, his sustenance is in difficulty, his whole faith is in difficulty. We are in Your paradises, ya Rabbi. Let me to intercede. What he wanted for me, I want for him ya Rabbi.” Ask for your brother, what you want for yourself.
They come and they teach us, awliya Allah, “Stop praying for yourself, stop thinking about yourself, stop relying upon yourself, and love Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).” And you read all these duroods, and you read all these salawats, and all blessings upon Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and you don’t think Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) immediately putting his hand and say, “Ya Rabbi enough, from what You’ve given to me, if they came to you in difficulty,” Allah says in Qur’an, “If they came to you, ya Sayyidi, ya Rasolullah, and they asked, Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) already granted,” it’s not even a matter of even asking.
Wa ma arsalna minRrasolin illa liyuta’a bi idhni Allahi wa law annahum idh dhalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfaro Allaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasolu lawajado Allaha tawwaban raheema.
(Surat Al Nisa 4:64)
“We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah.
If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked
Allah’s forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would
have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful.” (An-Nisa 4:64)
But you live a life, to take away difficulties, loving Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Everything you wanted for yourself, for your children, for your family and for your community, you should want it for Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
And then Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) with a real du’a, is when Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), he prays for us, not my prayer; my prayer is going nowhere. It don’t leave here. But ashiqeen, because of the love they had for Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), it’s a love relationship. As much as they’re asking, as much as Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), “Ameen, ameen, what you ask for me, ya Rabbi, grant for him. What he ask for me, grant for him, ya Rabbi, what he ask for me grant for him,” and this is a selfless love that Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) loves. That Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is praying for his ummah, and his ummah is praying for him (alaihis salaatus salaam). And Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) loves love. Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) doesn’t like selfishness. Means this is the sign of love.
The people of the ashiqeen, they’re so busy with the love of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), not trying to make a poster on how to spread their business, but making a poster on how to spread the love of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), even if they don’t have their own money. Read the lives of Sahabi, they didn’t have food to eat; they didn’t think, “No, no, no, I can’t share. I have to take care of my mortgage, I even have to pay my mortgage off faster than normal.” Ashiqeen, mukhliseen, they live a life of not thinking of themselves, that, “I don’t need to think of myself, let me spread the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) will begin to think about me.” Ya Rabbi, spreading his love for me, start sending his sustenance from ways he didn’t even imagine. And Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) sends his servants and they begin to support you like you can’t imagine. [Audience: Subhanallah].
Because your whole life is trying to spread the love of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), which is the love of Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) which is the real Islam, the real iman, real maqam al-ihsan; not crazy people interpreting their Islam and harming everyone. But ashiqeen have a tremendous love. They live a life, “How can I do more? How can I sit at the table of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and I haven’t done anything?” So every moment they’re thinking, “Ya Rabbi, give me a himmah, give me an ability to do something so that I have the nazr (spiritual gaze) of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) on me.”
So we took off on Saturday and came. No profit in it, other than the real Prophet, Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) [Audience: Subhanallah]. Means what we do for life is to be of service. Think of ways in which to glorify Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) by spreading the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) begins to think of ways on how to take care of you; that, “This child is in difficulty, take his child out of difficulty ya Rabbi. He’s deep in his love for me, his sustenance is not reaching him, his hand in short.”
They send something as an extension to reach what Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) wants you to reach of your sustenance but with everything in perfect order. Because if you reach to these distractions before you understood, to live a life in the love and in the way of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), you will become a fir’aun (a Pharoahe); a fir’aun who just becomes so occupied with dunya and money and wealth, and the pursuit of wealth, that when they say it’s time to do something for Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), “I don’t have time right now.” Oh but you don’t know, you may be dying tomorrow.
When the people of the malakut, they call you, they are calling you from Atee’ullaha wa atee’ur Rasoola wa Ulil amre minkum. That’s not a call that you shouldn’t take, because the boss is on the other side of that call. It’s different; your understanding and your relationship from the people of mulk is different. People of mulk, they don’t even probably believe what they’re teaching, and they teach it, it doesn’t matter; you take advice from it you benefit from it, great. They go outside and smoke. You’re talking from the people of malakut, that they surrender their entire being ibaadur-Rahmaan, alam al-qur’an, khalaq al-insaan, that Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) dressed them, blessed them, filled them with light, and now they represent Allah (‘Azza wa Jal). They are from ateeullah, they are from atee ar-rasool and wa ulil amrin minkum, and they are the ulil amr. These are different reality.
That light, that blessing, they come into our lives, to dress us and bless us, inspire us, that: take the path of iman, make a way into the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) because what’s coming on dunya, nobody can carry it, nobody can hold it, nobody can defend their homes from it, other than Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). If the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) behind you, it’s Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil alee’il ‘adheem وَلَا حَوْلَه وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِ الْعَظِيْمِ; how that hawla and quwwa going to reach, if not by the order of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)? Means Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) support behind you, Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s protection behind you, Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s du’a all over you, you are a supported person. That is what we need for what’s coming.
What’s coming is not going to help anybody wasting their time in dunya, in the world of form. So from understandings of Yaseen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), why heart of Qur’an? Because this is the qalb, this is the oceans of power of Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) , for us to begin to understand that Holy Qur’an is not created, Allah (‘Azza wa Jal’s) Divinely speech. That Divinely speech is moving in malakut, forget about form [Audience: Subhanallah]. ‘Cause the zahiris, they’re very obsessed with form. Milad is to come and describe the form of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam): the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s hair was like this, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s complexion was like this, Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s height was like this. What has benefit for you?
The benefit of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is Nur ul-Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). The reality of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), qalb ul-Muhammadiya, that, “Ya Rabbi, how I can reach the light of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam),” instead of debating the length of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s hair and the width of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)’s shoulder. Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) asking, “Why you obsessed with that? Come to my light, to malakut, in which I am a prophet before Adam was between clay and water [Audience: Subhanallah], that my risaalat and I am Rasolullah for all created universes.” [Audience: Subhanallah]
There is no way to reach Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) . Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) is speaking through the heart of the soul and the ruh of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). That is the qalb: qaf, laam, to the ba. Qul, qalb, we say qalb, means flesh. What qalb means for Allah (‘Azza wa Jal)? [Audience: Subhanallah] Qalb? Allah has no form, this is word of form. Now let’s take that letter and that word to malakut. In malakut, the qalb: qaf, wal Qur’an al-Majeed, lam, lisaan al-haqq. Who can take the qul of Allah (‘Azza wa Jal)? [Audience: Subhanallah] Nobody, no creation, no malaa’ika (angels). Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) says, “If I put My qul (speech) onto the mountain, qashi’a (dust) but Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam firm,” in malakut. Means Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is the ba.
All Qur’an in Fatiha, all, like a laser. All of Qur’an can be condensed, its reality into this seven holy verses of Fatiha. Seven holy verses of Fatiha like a laser will be condensed into Bismillahir rahmanir raheem. So when you say Bismillahir rahmanir raheem, it is the opening that brings out Fatiha, from Fatiha brings all uloomul Qur’an out like a laser. The Bismillahir rahmanir raheem, its power is in ba. All the laser of Qur’an is in that ba. That’s why qalb in malakut is qul to the ba. Allah’s Divinely speech and qudra is flowing onto that ba, which awliya Allah call bahr al-qudra [Audience: Subhanallah], the ocean of power. That is the malakut of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), means that ocean of light, where the nur is emanating and the holy force of Qur’an, means that everything is created by that power, through Qur’an.
Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) says everything contained in it; means this qudra that coming from the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) which we call qalb, is the source of all power for creation, is the source and origin of all creation. [Audience: Subhanallah] And that’s why Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) says, “That reality for you is called Ya Seen (alaihis salaatus salaam).” [Audience: Subhanallah] ‘Cause what we have of this kitaab is an understanding towards Holy Qur’an and Allah (‘Azza wa Jal), Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) clarified: the heart of that Qur’an, Qur’an al-Majeed is Suratul Yaseen (alaihis salaatus salaam).
Means that the importance of understanding Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) reality is the source of all power, so where is Laylatul Qadr? All power is coming from where? The heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Everything, means ashiqeen (lovers), they direct themselves to the reality of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that, “Ya Sayyidi, ya Rasolullah, from your holy heart, your qalb that Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) called Ya Seen (alahis salaam), Holy Qur’an is emanating from that and every creation is from that reality.” [Audience: Subhanallah] So Laylatul Qadr is where? The qadr is coming from the qalb of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
When you’re going to Madinah, Madinatul-Munawwarah, you’re talking about the reality of all the created universes, the light of that reality is right there. What you think is holier? This is where Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) says, “I’m not on heaven and I’m not on earth but I’m on the heart of My believer.” [Audience: Subhanallah]. Allah’s only believer is right there in Madinatul-Munawwarah . Through the light of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is qalb, is…[Audience: Narai takbir, Allahu Akbar, Narai risaalat, Ya Rasolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam, narai haydri]. That is the ocean of power.
Kaabah sharif, these are the qalb al-mu’min, baytullah, qalb al-mu’min (“the heart of the believer is the house of Allah). All the mu’min, their symbol is the kaabah, and that’s why you see hotels all around because the mu’min are now all distracted. Allah says, “I show you your signs upon yourself and upon the horizon.” You go to Makkah, you say, “Ya Rabbi, why so crowded?” It’s because you’re the mu’min [Audience: Subhanallah]. It’s a symbol of the mu’min, that their hearts are all become distracted with hotels and businesses and malls, but there’s no hotels and malls in Allah’s presence in Madinatul-Munawwarah. Because the only believer for Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) is lying in a fana, in Divinely presence [Audience: Subhanallah]. And Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) says, “I’m there. You want me, I’m there.”
That is the source of Laylatul Qadr, so means that ashiqeen, when they love Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and they constantly moving to the love of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), because that which you remember is remembering you, that which you love, loves you. If you don’t love, it doesn’t love you, but his mercy is beyond that. But he draws you, as much as you’re loving, as much as that love is coming back, and drawing closer, closer. Ashiqeen are always in Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) [Audience: Subhanallah]. Layl (night) signifies that they annihilated themselves, that they made themselves to be nothing. The night symbolises that no manifestation, that don’t manifest yourself and think of yourself; you become ‘abd al-Faqir, “Ya Rabbi, I’m nothing, I’m nothing, I’m nothing.” They enter to the state of layl and being nothing and they always dressed by the qadr because they are dressed by the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) [Audience: Subhanallah].
When we’re talking about love, people think this is like valentine’s love where you give flowers to each other. This is not that love, that’s the T.V. love. This waw and wadud, is the Divine source of power. Because of the love, Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) dressing that reality. By means of that love, we will be brought into these oceans of qadr. If you are brought into the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), isn’t that where he teaches Holy Qur’an? [Audience: Subhanallah] Because he’s the ibaad ar-Rahman.
When Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) talking about alam al-Qur’an, alam to who? To the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), that, “My Qur’an, My power, My qudra is flowing eternally in the light of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam),” as much as you’re drawing close to Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) you are drawing close to Allah (‘Azza wa Jal). You are drawing close to Holy Qur’an, you be dressed by nur al-iman, nur al-Islam, nur al-iman wal maqam al–ihsan[Audience: Subhanallah], which is what, to see Allah in your salaah. Means you’re so close in the heart of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), what must be emanating from the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)? There must be a Divinely presence and reality of La ilaha illallah.
The La ilaha illallah that we recite is imitated La ilaha illallah, ‘cause we’re on the outside of all of this. You have to enter into the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), you have to lose yourself, your form, “Ya Rabbi, like a drop of water, I made myself to be important. Throw me back into the ocean of Muhammadun Rasolullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).” That, that reality goes back into its origins.
Means that the secret of Ya Seen and the understanding of Ya Seen, ya, and being heart of Holy Qur’an, ya for yaqeen (certainty), seen, as-sami (hearing). Means the way toward that reality is they’re teaching, what made Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) be created for that reality but the manifestation of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in dunya is that he represents the perfection of hearing. Ya Seen, ya, when we see ya, in malakut is for yaqeen, certainty: that when we have certainty, certainty from the Divinely dress, to the seen, seen as-sami السميع ; sami’na wa ata’na, “we heard and we obeyed” (Al Baqarah 2:285).
وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ٢٨٥
“…wa qalu samina waatana ghufranaka Rabbana wailayka almaseer.”
And they say, “We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.” (Surat al Baqara 2:285 )
Companions of Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), “We hear and we obey.” The one who hears for Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) speaks for Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) [Audience: Subhanallah]. Ya Seen, yaqeen as-sami means he hears for Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) , he speaks for Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) .
In darajat al-awliya (ranks of saints), their perfection of yaqeen allows them sami, to speak. The one who hears is the one who speaks. If he’s not hearing them, malakut, he has no permission to speak [Audience: Subhanallah]. Means they inherit from Ya Seen (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). The seen, has the seen because it contains ilm ul-yaqeen, ‘ayn al-yaqeen, haqq ul-yaqeen, for malakut, not dunya. Means ilm ul-yaqeen is the ilm that teaching of malakut.
is not the, how many times to wash your hands and fingers, exactly how much water to use and how the water becomes dirty over a certain amount. Ilm ul-yaqeen is from malakut, that ilm ul-yaqeen is a power that dress your soul, that when you sleep at night, your soul goes to Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) , says, “Ya Rabbi, I learned from a reality, dress me from that ocean.” And no doubt Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, Kareem, says, “Ya ‘abdi, there, go, take from that ocean and swim,” but can you do that with wudhu? Can you go to Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) , say, “Ya Rabbi, I learn five times now how to do wudhu, let me to swim in the ocean of wudhu?” This is your body, your donkey body go back to earth. What you’re going to need from malakut for that? You know that ilm and place very small reality from it; but ilm ul-yaqeen is on your soul, you’re dressed from awliya on your soul. As soon as your body gets out of the way it goes to Arsh ar-Rahman, say, “Ya rabbi, make it to be complete.” “Ya ibadi, swim in that ocean until you’re full.”
‘Ayn al-yaqeen is that if you be dressed by ilm, dressed by ilm, dressed by ilm, they begin to train you: open your ‘ayn. The eyes of your head, they’re not going to get you anywhere, you’re going to be distracted in shopping centres. Sit with them, train with them, how to close your eyes, to be nothing, to be nothing, to be nothing, dress by ilm ul-yaqeen, and begin to open ‘ayn ul-yaqeen, where you begin to see what people don’t see [Audience: Subhanallah]. It’s holy hadith, that,
“When My servant comes to me with voluntary worship, I be the hear, ear, the ears with which he hears and the eyes in which he sees,” and the rest of the hadith (Hadith Qudsi 25).
Ilm ul-yaqeen, ‘ayn il-yaqeen, the two combined become what? If you begin to see from these realities- every grandmother sees Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in a dream, it’s not something difficult. But why you need a dream? Because your ego’s getting in the way. But if you sit and train, and lower your desires and learn how to make tafakkur, you begin to see through your heart; that ilm ul-yaqeen, practising ‘ayn ul-yaqeen
became haqq ul-yaqeen for you, ‘cause it’s not a lie anymore and it’s not an imitation. You know it like your hand, because you learned it, you trained, Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) showed it.
And what Sayyiduna Ibrahim (alaihis salaam) said, “Ya Rabbi, let me see how you revive the dead.” So why you don’t believe? Means Allah will prove the reality, begin to show you the reality. Brick by brick that reality becomes a haqq for you, and that is the seen, the sir, the secret, that Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) wants, that, “Come to your reality, come to the malakut, come to these realities,” because it’s from Suratul Yaseen.
We pray that Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) grant us more and more hub ur Rasool [Audience: Ameen], that the way and the love of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is all that we need, that Allah (‘Azza wa Jal) will grant Divinely love upon that love.
Subhana rabbika rabbal izzati amma yasifoon, wa salaamun alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil aalameen.
Birahmati Muhammadan Mustafa wa bisirri surat al-fatiha.
