Invitation of Shaykh Abdullah ad Daghestani (Q)

These are teachings for people to take care about what is coming. They used to say, “What are you speaking about Sayyidina al Mahdi (as)?” I remember over fifty years ago, Grandshaykh (Q) spoke about Mahdi (as). And `ulama sat there stunned, thinking, “Why are you speaking about Mahdi (as)?” He said many times that one day he was in seclusion, and his Shaykh, Grandshaykh Sharafuddin ad Daghestani (Q) – mashallah his presence is coming quickly! May Allah bless Grandshaykh (Q) and make us with him in dunya and akhirah. Yaa Sayyidee! We took your words from a long time ago and it is our guarantee of safety!

Grandshaykh (Q) said that Shaykh Sharafuddin (Q) passed by him in seclusion and said to him, “Be ready, as tonight I am coming to take you.” Then after midnight, he came to him in seclusion and said, “Come with me!” and everything was ready in Istanbul. They went to a mosque known in Turkish as ’Yeraltı Camii’, “the Mosque underground”, which was built in the time of the Sahaabah (ra), and has arches all around. Grandshaykh asked Shaykh Sharafuddin, may Allah bless them both, “Where are we going?” Shaykh Sharafuddin (Q) said, “Tonight we have been ordered to meet with Mahdi (as) and I am taking you with me.”

Parents of Mahdi’s (as) have the Same Names as Parents of Prophet’s ﷺ

We don’t care what people say; we only care to be concise with what our shuyookh taught us, and to keep Shari`ah. And tariqah is Shari’ah! In Shari’ah the Mahdi (as) is coming, and he will give bay’ah between the Hajar al Aswad and Rukn al Yamani. He is married and has three children. His father’s name is as the Prophet’s ﷺ father’s name (Abdullah), and his mother’s name is like the Prophet’s ﷺ mother’s name (Amina)! There are many ahadith on Sayyidina Mahdi (as) and we can quote them one time, but awliyaullah have unique experience with signs of Mahdi (as).

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِبِنْ مَسَعُودْ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلْىٰ الله عَلَيِهِ وَسَلَمْ قَالَ ‏”‏ لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ يَوْمٌ ‏لَطَوَّلَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ ‏حَتَّىٰ يَبْعَثَ فِيهِ رَجُلاً مِنِّ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ إِسْمُهُ إِسْمِي وَإِسْمُ أَبِيهِ  إِسْمَ أَبِيِ‏. يَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ قِسْطَاً وَعَدْلاً كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا ‏”‏ ‏.‏ سُنَنْ أَبُو دَاوُدَ

‘An ‘Abdullahi ibn Mas’ud (ra), ‘anin Nabiyi ﷺ qala: “law lam yabqa minad dunya illa yawmun latawwala Allahu zalikal yawma hatta yab’atha fihi rajulan minni ahle bayti yuwatiyu ismuhu ismi wa ismu abihi isma abiyi. Yamlaul arda qista an wa ‘adlan kama muliat zulman wa jawran.” (Sunan abu Dawud)

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (ra), that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “If only one day of this world remained. Allah would lengthen that day till He raised up in it a man from my family whose name is the same as my name, and whose father’s name is the same as my father’s name (Abdullah). Who will fill the earth with equity, fairness, and justice as it was filled with oppression and tyranny.” ([Sunan Abi Dawud 4282]

Prophets and Awliya Welcomed Mahdi (as)

Shaykh Sharafuddin (Q) said, “We are going to Yeraltı Camii.” They went to that masjid and Grandshaykh Abdullah (Q) said, “I saw circles and circles of awliyaullah are ready and present in a spiritual form, they were all filling the place.” That masjid has three Sahaabah: Sufyan ibn `Uyayanah (ra), and ‘Amr ibn Al ‘Aas (ra) and one other whose name I forgot [Wahb bin Hushayr (ra)]. Two are buried together and one is buried separately. The Sahaabah (ra) reached there and Grandshaykh (Q) said, awliyaullah filled the area.

When awliyaullah are present, it means there is a meeting. Then Prophets appear spiritually; coming there is a vision. Then the Prophet ﷺ appears in a spiritual presence, not a physical presence. They can be in any presence they want, even a heavenly presence. You can even say, “I saw a dream of the Prophet ﷺ.” Can anyone say “no” or deny that? No, the Prophet ﷺ said, “Who saw me in the dream saw me in reality.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: “مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَتَمَثَّلُ فِي صُورَتِي” (صَحِيحُ الْبُخَارِي، كتاب ٣، حديث ١١٠)

‘An Abi Hurayrah (ra), qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ: “Wa man raani fee al-manaam faqad raani, fa inna ash-shaytaana laa yatamassalu fee suwrati.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said, “Whoever has seen me in a dream, then surely, he has seen me, for Satan cannot appear in my image. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 3, Hadith 110)

Then Grandshaykh (Q) said behind Jabal Qaf is the biggest group of mu’min jinn, as Allah (AJ) said:

ق ۚ وَالْقُرْ‌آنِ الْمَجِيدِ ﴿١﴾

50:1 – “Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed.” (Surat Qaf)

“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an.” (The Letter Qaf, 50:1)

Qaf. By the Glorious Qur’an (you are Allah’s Messenger). (Surah Qaf, 50:1) [Not the next ayah either] That “qaf” symbolized Jabal Qaf that is behind the hadd ad-dunya, the limits of this world, creations that we cannot see because these physical eyes can only see physical issues, but behind that is full.

Prophet ﷺ Called the Azaan and Give His Name

There, the Sultan of Jinn, Sayyidina al Hazzaaz (Q), as soon as the mother of al Mahdi (as) delivered him – you know on the seventh day you have to make iqaamah [call to prayer] So he brought him from a hidden horizon behind Qaf Mountain to the house of Mahdi (as) in Mecca, and brought him to Yeraltı Camii in Istanbul, where the Prophet ﷺ made adhaan in his right ear and in his left ear he ﷺ made iqaamah and called him “Muhammad al Mahdi (as).”

Grandshaykh (Q) said, “I attended that with my Shaykh and at that time I knew he was born. Then he left and we could not see anymore.” The only two that were physically present were Grandshaykh ‘Abdullah ad Daghestani (Q) and Great Grandshaykh Sharafuddin (Q), and the rest were spiritual appearances. As soon as everyone gave bay’ah to Mahdi (as) and the Prophet ﷺ put his hand on top of theirs, that scene was gone! That is a spiritual vision.

Grandshaykh (Q) continued, “Although Sayyidina Imam Mahdi (as) was born in that time, still the time when he reaches will be forty years (old), even if he reaches seventy or eighty. Whatever his age is, they have a constant age; they don’t change and he will appear with that age, even if it goes to two-hundred years.” When Allah wants something to happen, He wills it through kun faya koon. From that time, Grandshaykh saw Mahdi (as).

The Sacred Vision of Awliyahullah

When Grandshaykh left dunya in 1973, we were in a very sad situation. After some months, which I mentioned before but we will share it here. I always did my dhikr in the attic, sitting there by myself, covering with a sheet and doing dhikrullah. I still feel as if it had happened just now, like a big vision just appeared and Grandshaykh (Q) and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (Q) just came. Then all awliyaullah from the Naqshbandi Golden Chain appeared, and then all Naqshbandis appeared in their spiritual forms. All of them put their hands over each other’s hands and Grandshaykh ordered me to also put my hands under all of them. I am seeing them, then awliyaullah appeared and then Sayyidina Shah Naqshband (Q) and Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujdawani (Q). Then Sayyidina al Mahdi (as) put his hands over all of their hands, and then the Prophet ﷺ put his hand over all! Then Grandshaykh said, “Now you take real bay’ah!” confirming the previous bay’ah to him, although he didn’t give bay’ah except to two: Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Mawlana Shaykh Hussayn (Q).

Then I put my hand and Mahdi’s (as) hand was on top and then the Prophet’s hand was on top. Sayyidina Mahdi (as) recited Ayat al bay’ah and then three times, “Allahu, Allahu, Allahu Haqq!” and then that scene disappeared.
