Don’t Let Your Inner Munafiq Overtake You!

From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ٱلْرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 

A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah (AJ) from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Wa Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen, was  salaatu was salaam Ashraful Mursaleen,  Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ  bi madadikum wa nazarekum Sayyidi ya Rasulul   Kareem (The Most Generous Messenger), Ya Habibul  ‘Azim (The Beloved of the Magnificent). Madad Ya Sayyidi Ya Sultanul Awliya (king of saints)  Mawlana Shaykh Abdullahil Faiz ad Daghestani (Q),   Sultan Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Haqqani (Q),  Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (Q), Shaykh Adnan  Kabbani (Q), Shaykh Muhammad Adil (Q), wa Abdul  Khaliq al Gujdawani (Q), Sahib Zaman Sayyidina Muhammad al Mahdi (as), RuhAllah Sayyidina  Isa (as), Sayfullah Sayyidina Ali (as) thumma Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as), Sayyidina Umar  (as), Sayyidina Uthman (as), Imam al Hassan (as), Imam al Hussain (as), Sayyidatina Fatimatul Zahra (as), wa sayiri wa sadatina wa Siddiqin. Al Fatiha. Barakah shafa’at (intercession) Ya Rasulul Kareem.

“A’uzu Billahi Minash shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.” Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum. Always a reminder for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still in existence. 

أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُم… ﴿٥٩﴾‏ …

4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat an-Nisa)

“…Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)

Rajab Signifies the Importance of Seven

Alhamdulillah, that Allah (AJ) granted us to enter into the holy month of Rajab tar al ajab that is a month of “Subhana man huwa Khaliq anNur.” 

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ الْخَالِقَ النُّورْ

Subhana man huwal Khaliq anNur

“Glory to Him who is the Creator, the Light” 

These are from the uloom (knowledge) of awliyaullah (saints) that they give us these 12 hijabs – pardeh, veils – in which Allah (AJ) is eternally dressing with the world of light, lights upon the soul of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Each month has an immense tajalli (manifestations) and dress as we take a path into these oceans of ma’rifah (gnosticism) and realities. We enter into the immense secret of seven. Seven tawaf (circumambulation), seven holy openings upon the face, seven lataif (energy points) of the heart, six with the one that opens its reality – all of these immense realities and comes the holy month of Rajab on that seven. We described that Allah (AJ) is a hidden treasure wanting to be known. 

قَال رَسُولَ اللَّه ﷺ، قَالْ اللَّه عَزَ وَجَلْ: ” كُنْت كَنْزاً مخفيا فَأَحْبَبْت أَنْ أُعْرَفَ؛ فَخَلَقْت خَلْقاً فَعَرَّفْتهمْ بِي فَعَرَفُونِي.” [حَدِيثْ اَلْقُدْسِي – بِحَارْ اَلْأنْوَارْ، اَلْعَلَامَةْ اَلْمَجْلِسِيْ، جُزْء ٨٤، صَفْحَة ١٩٩]

Qala Rasulallahi ﷺ, Qala Allah (AJ): “Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.” [Hadith al Qudsi – Behar al Anwar, Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Juz’ 84, Safha 199]

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, that Allah (AJ) said: “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.” [Holy Hadith – Bihar al Anwar, by Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Volume 84, Page 199]

Rajab Carries the 63rd Chapter of Holy Qur’an, Surah Munafiqeen

It’s the reality of light coming into existence. It’s the reality of Allah (AJ) creating creation to be known. Allah’s (AJ) not within the creation, but Allah (AJ) is the power of that creation. All that creation exists within the light of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. Nothing exists within La ilaha illAllah of creation. This is an ocean that explains itself that: don’t, don’t look here. Don’t think about here. This is Allah’s (AJ) knowledge of Allah (AJ), but Allah’s (AJ) Might and Majesty is the power that powers creation and everything coming from this kalimah (testimony), everything coming from this reality of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.

لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدٌا رَسُولْ اللَّهُ ﷺ. 

“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.” 

“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah (pbuh).” 

In this holy month of light, Allah (AJ) gives us from the realities of this seventh month in the way of nine, in the way of the sultanate (kingdom) of the realities of nine. So, then the seventh pardeh (veil) times the reality of nine – 9 times the 7 gives us 63 – the age of Prophet ﷺ. Our guidance is Holy Qur’an. As a result, we direct ourself to surah (chapter) 63. Surah 63 is Surah Munafiqeen. We began to describe that we fight outside to know who the enemy is and the greatest battle is inside.

Your Battle is With the One Who Says He’s With You, But Works Against You

We described from the first three verses, Allah (AJ) is giving to us… Hajji Junaid, I don’t like to read. Open from our app, anybody. I think Shahid had used a good translation. Open our app and go to the Qur’an section of the app far right bottom and then we pull up surah 63, inshaAllah. Let’s go to the app, Qur’an, surah 63. Let’s start verse one. We recap the English of surah 63. 

Reciter: Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. I seek Refuge with God from satan the cursed one. Allah (AJ) beginning with the Name of the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. When the hypocrites come in your presence, oh dear Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, they say we testify that you surely are Allah’s (AJ) noble messenger, and Allah (AJ) knows that you indeed are his noble messenger, and Allah (AJ) testifies that the hypocrites are indeed liars. 

﴾‏إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ ﴿١

63:1 – “Izaa jaaa’akal munaafiqoona qaaloo nashhadu innaka la rasoolul laah; wallaahu ya’lamu innaka la rasooluhoo wallaahu yashhadu innal munaafiqeena lakaaziboon.” (Surat Al Munafiqun)

When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, “We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah .” And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.” (The Hypocrites, 63:1)

Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: So, they tell the world, Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ and Allah (AJ) because Allah’s (AJ) speech is not for that time. Allah (AJ) doesn’t care for dunya (material world). Allah’s (AJ) speech is an eternal speech that has no time. This is from the realities of malakut (heavenly realm). Allah (AJ) is giving to us at every time, at every moment, your biggest danger is going to be hypocrites and munafiqeen. Not the outside, those who went astray; not the ones who angered Allah (AJ). You know they’re not with you. You know that everything they teach is rubbish and everything they propagate is to destroy you.

At least you should because you don’t make friends with them thinking, ‘Oh no, they’re going to guide me. They’re going to teach me. I’m going to take my Islamic courses from them.’ Allah (AJ) already said: they angered Allah (AJ) and they went astray. Your battle is the one who says he’s with you, but he works eagerly against you. So, the enemy within is the most dangerous enemy. This is on the month of achieving light because Allah (AJ) is saying: now you’re progressing through these pardeh, through these hijabs. 

Beware of Those Who Take Their Oaths as a Shield (Holy Qur’an, 63:2)

Your fight is going to intensify. Don’t be deluded by outside, but be wary of the one who says he’s with you. Now, the next verse, inshaAllah.

Reciter: They have taken their oaths as a shield, thereby prevented others from Allah’s (AJ) way. Indeed, they commit extremely evil deeds.

   اتَّخَذُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٢﴾‏

63:2 – “Ittakhazoo aymaanahum junnatan fasaddoo ‘an sabeelil laah; innahum saaa’a maa kaanoo ya’maloon.” (Surat Al Munafiqun)

“They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.” (The Hypocrites, 63:2)

Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ to deviate people. Don’t say they said shahadah (testimony of faith) and everything is okay. Allah (AJ) say, ‘Oh, he’s putting very powerful adjectives’ that what they do is evil. We gave an example today when we were speaking to the guys. You go to a relics museum, a beautiful one they have in Turkey. The guy says, ‘Well, come to me’ because they want to give guidance. ‘Give me $50. I’ll give you a tour of the museum, express pass.’ Say, ‘I don’t need your tour. I’ll take my time in the line.’ You follow behind and you see that this person, on every relic, is casting doubt. ‘We don’t know the authenticity of this. We don’t know where that came from. We don’t know what this…is this really that?’ His purpose was to take your $50 and cast doubt as you’re moving through holy relics. You come out that this was, ‘Oh, that guy said this is nothing.’

We Are in Days of No More Gray, Just Black and White

So, we understand when somebody stands at the threshold of something holy. There are many devils at the threshold. Not everything, everything shiny is gold. There’s fool’s gold in which to distract us. Then we take one of them and we go astray. Allah (AJ) is guiding for us: no, no, they will give their shahadah to you. They will say, ‘No, we are believing in the prophet of Islam.’ Allah (AJ) says, ‘No, they don’t. Not only they don’t, but their agenda is very evil.’

We described years ago, black and white will stop. The gray will finish. Nobody knows who is who, but towards the end of zaman (time), there is no gray. There’s black and there’s white. One group in this Abrahamic faith, which is a lie, they think a man is god. They’re outside of religion. The other one says their messiah that comes is god. They’re outside of religion. There is no religion on this Earth except Islam. Haq (truth)! There’s no more gray. It’s black, it’s white.

Disbelievers Have Had Their Hearts Sealed and Do Not Understand (Holy Qur’an, 63:3)

So, the two parties went aside. Now, on this Rajab, awliya (saints) are clarifying for us that amongst what you think to be white and guided into the light, their profession of faith is false. They exist to deviate mankind. Now look how the Muslims are being slaughtered. They paid more attention to their soccer games. They spent more on their soccer games because they don’t care about Muslim people. They’re not even in Islam. Allah (AJ) will now describe more. Verse three, inshaAllah.

Reciter: That is because they accepted faith with their tongues, then disbelieved with their hearts. Therefore, their hearts were sealed. So, now they do not understand anything. 

‏ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ ﴿٣﴾‏ 

63:3 – “Zaalika bi annahum aamanoo summa kafaroo fatubi’a ‘alaa quloobihim fahum laa yafqahoon.” (Surat Al Munafiqun)

“That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.” (The Hypocrites, 63:3)

Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: They’re not a people that you debate and you bring them back. What they’ve done is so wrong by Allah’s (AJ) standards that their heart became locked from believing. What did they do wrong? Who are these people? Because people start to email, ‘Is this our sins because I told a lie? Because I cheated on my exam?’ No, this is not petty things. Those are…those people teach petty things. They go to the masjid and they touch your toes when they make salah (daily prayer) and they say, ‘Allah (AJ) won’t accept our salah if we don’t keep touching toes. Allah (AJ) says if you say ‘Allah’ not enough, ‘A’ not enough, ‘H,’ your salah won’t count, and all your life’s salahs won’t count’ as if everything is petty, petty, petty.

Allah (AJ) Declares War on Those Who Come Against His Rasul ﷺ and Awliya

But on the real issue, they never speak about. So, it means everything they teach is a lie. The real sin Allah (AJ) is going to explain what is the real sin of what they do, why Allah (AJ) locked. Throughout Qur’an, you can come against Allah (AJ) and Allah (AJ) never says, ‘I’m going to destroy you.’ ‘They don’t believe, leave them. They’re not good towards Me, leave them.’

But if you come against Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Allah (AJ) says, ‘I’m going to destroy you.’ It means the coming against Allah (AJ) is not the issue. What Allah (AJ) describe, ‘I’m going to punish them. They’re going to end up in hell if they came against My Rasulallah ﷺ’. Then Hadith comes to even verify stronger that, ‘Not only I’m going to beat the ones and punish the ones who come against Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, but all those who love him ﷺ’ – what we call awliya (saints). They didn’t get wilayat (sainthood) without the love for Prophet ﷺ and the zikr (Divine remembrance), their salawat (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), their immense love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The Hadith came to clarify that: if you attack a wali (saint), Allah (AJ) declares war on you. All ‘ulama (scholars) came – there’s nothing you can do that Allah (AJ) will declare war on you except attack the awliya. Why? Because they love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The way to get Allah’s (AJ) anger, come against His Rasulallah ﷺ. 

عَنْ أَبِيِ هُرَيْرَةِ رَضِّيَّ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ :” إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَىٰ قَالَ: ” مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقْد آذَنْتهُ بِالْحَرْبِ” [حَدِيثْ اَلْقُدْسِي، صَحِيحْ الْبُخَارِيُّ – رقم:٦٥٠٢]

‘An Abi Hurairah (ra) Qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ: InAllaha Ta’ala qala: “Man ‘ada li waliyan faqda adhantahu bil harbi,…” (Hadith Qudsi, Sahih al Bukhari, Raqam: 6502)

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) that: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that: Allah the Almighty said: “I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a Wali (saint) of Mine…” [Holy Hadith – Authentic by al Bukhari 6502]

Watch for Those With Pleasing Speech But Deceive You (Holy Qur’an, 63:4)

So, you see, they speak a lot about Allah (AJ) and they come against Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. How do you come against Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ? By discrediting and diminishing the importance of Prophet ﷺ. ‘We don’t know about that Hadith. This Hadith is weak. That Hadith is weak. We don’t even know the source of this Hadith.’

So, these Hadith you’re talking about, the words of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ because they want to be Ahlul Qur’an (people of Qur’an). They don’t want to talk anymore about Hadith. They want to make their expressions and their teachings like it’s Hadith. They want you to quote them on what they understood of Qur’an. It means extremely evil, extremely dangerous. Let’s go to fourth verse. 

Reciter: And when you see them, their appearance would please you. And when they speak, you would listen carefully to their speech like wooden blocks propped up against the wall. They assume every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah (AJ) slay them. Where are they reverting?

وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ ۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ ۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ ۚ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ ﴿٤﴾‏

63:4 – “Wa izaa ra aytahum tu’jibuka ajsaamuhum wa iny yaqooloo tasma’ liqawlihim ka’annahum khushubum musannadah; yahsaboona kulla saihatin ‘alaihim; humul ‘aduwwu fahzarhum; qaatalahumul laahu annaa yu’fakoon”. (Surat Al Munafiqun)

“And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up – they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?” (The Hypocrites, 63:4) 

Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: Now everyone wants to go to these countries and they’re mesmerized by these guys who walk in white robes and speak fluent Arabic. They know the Qur’an, but they don’t profess it. In their malls, they have Christmas trees. In their malls, they had celebrations for Santa Claus. They spent $400 billion on a soccer ball. They sent what – two, three Pepsis into the areas of these people who have been completely genocide.

Hypocrites Deviate the World Using Their Words and Appearance

But everybody loves their appearance. Everybody listens to their qira’at (recitation) and their speech and their talk because of the respect for Prophet ﷺ being an Arab. So, we all get fooled that, ‘Oh, so then all Arabs are good.’ Allah (AJ) is saying, ‘No, their speech pleases you. Their images are fascinating to you, but truly what they stand for is extremely evil.’ With their wealth, they’re not building masjids. They’re building stadiums. They brought all of these players and all of these kazaab and all the people whom Allah (AJ) has cursed, brought into their countries, gave them billion dollars and said, ‘Now come and destroy this entire nation because from our headquarters, we are the custodian of this religion. From this headquarters, we will deviate the entire world.’

It’s immense what they’re doing. So, Allah (AJ) not very friendly with them. ‘Beware of them. They are your enemy.’ Fifth ayah (verse), inshaAllah. What, what Allah (AJ) is going to describe because these same people, on our videos, say we are the munafiqeen (hypocrites). ‘What are these crazy Sufis, grave worshipers…’. We’re traditional Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah (People of Prophetic Tradition and of the Majority). What grave worshiping? What are you talking about? Completely deviating everyone and say they’re the munafiqeen. But Allah (AJ) clarifies very clearly that you can literally go to them with this verse and they will give you themself, their own title described by Allah (AJ).

Hypocrites Refuse to Turn to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ (Holy Qur’an, 63:5)

So, it’s not he said, they said, ‘Oh Shaykh, maybe you’re just saying it.’ No, they were going just by what Allah (AJ) is giving for us. So, what is the fifth ayah is the verdict.

Reciter: And when it is said to them, ‘Come, Allah’s (AJ) noble messenger may seek forgiveness for you,’ they turn heads away, and you will see them turning away in pride. 

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿٥﴾‏

63:5 – “Wa izaa qeela lahum ta’aalaw yastaghfir lakum rasoolul laahi lawwaw ru’oo sahum wa ra aytahum yasuddoona wa hum mustakbiroon” (Surat Al Munafiqun)

“And when it is said to them, “Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you,” they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.” (The Hypocrites, 63:5)

Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi: Say, ‘Come, Prophet ﷺ will pray for you.’ Not only they turn away, but if you go and ask for Prophet ﷺ to pray, they say, ‘Put your back, put your back in Madina to the presence of Prophet ﷺ. Don’t face, don’t put your hands.’ Every time we make our salawats and make our durood (praising on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and ask Prophet ﷺ for his intercession, they say, “This is shirk (polytheism).’ They live by this verse. They show themselves by this verse 100%. It became very clear. It’s not this group, that group. The one whom got their heart locked, what did they do to get their heart locked? They don’t accept Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. They don’t have a love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and they don’t truly believe in Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ because Allah (AJ) give the criteria.

Don’t Underestimate the Power of Listening to Munafiqs

‘Say to them that Prophet ﷺ will pray for them to forgive them’ and they turn their back literally, like, ‘Oh, what is this kind of stuff you’re talking about?’ Then they even throw out words that this is a shirk (polytheism) and this is self-evident. Now this is the outside munafiq (hypocrite). We said they’re cursed. Allah (AJ) want to destroy them and gives the exact example of why. Then there are people who say, ‘Oh, don’t be so extreme. What is big problem about watching them?’

Okay, you’re watching something cursed. You’re watching something cursed by Allah (AJ) and this is now a party from shaitan. Every time they talk, there’s a likelihood that an arrow is going into your heart and you just don’t know it. You listen to enough of these different people, you know, they even wear their tablecloth. You listen, you listen, you think it’s nothing, it’s nothing. But Allah (AJ) saying, ‘They are cursed people’.

Shaitan’s Way is to Cast Doubt in Your Faith

Something cursed by Allah (AJ) has no barakah in it, has no blessings in it. Most likely, when you harpoon a shark or you harpoon something, it hit you with an arrow, but it’s attached to a string that’s from shaitan. This is what gives you shak (doubt) because you hear something. You’re tuning in for something and they start to degrade the messenger of Allah (AJ) and the ways of the turuqs (spiritual paths) which are the way from Prophet ﷺ. Every heart, every arrow that hits you, it’s a link to a shaitan that keeps pushing and casting doubt, casting doubt.

They say, ‘Oh, this was like an interesting subject they talk.’ It was not interesting at all. If you’re deciding to sit with shaitan and think this is okay, your aqidah (belief) is wrong. We don’t pray behind them. We don’t listen to them. Even now, these battles are going to be opening. We have nothing to do with them because they’re not with us. They’re with somebody else. They’re existing to take us out of Islam. This is the external one that became very clear now because gray disappeared. We found out, ‘Oh, these, these things, oh these are all in the black. This nothing to do with faith.’

Listening to Deceit Slowly Poisons You

So, the greatest danger as Rajab is opening because now the dajjal (man of deceit) is present. Their messiah is present. We’re all waiting for Sayyidina Mahdi (as) to start the game. But until then, don’t be deviated by these people. They’re not from you. They don’t have your belief. They absolutely don’t accept Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Whatever you heard from their tongue, Allah (AJ) says it’s lies and it’s evil.

We can’t stress that enough. When you listen to something evil, it’s a slow poison that enters. You don’t know what is poisoning your heart. You don’t know why your love is diminishing, your faith is diminishing because poison can sometimes enter very slowly into a person. That’s why it’s immense danger.

Don’t Expect Divine Mercy and Love If You Don’t Give Any

Then we said, for every Hadith, Prophet ﷺ doesn’t care for dunya (material world), so there must be an immense reality and haqqaiq (realities). The haqqaiq of the munafiq within myself because now we defined it. The inside munafiq is the same as the outside munafiq. You have a Yazid and a Wahabi inside you. Why you don’t like Ahlul Bayt (Holy Family of Prophet ﷺ)? You’re Yazid. You’re crazy? Why you don’t cry on the day that they slaughtered their entire family of the Prophet ﷺ? You’re Yazid. You gave power to your Yazid. Why? You’re crazy? Then you come to me and say, ‘My family was slaughtered last night. Shaykh, pray for me.’ So, why would I pray for you? I don’t know them.

Everybody expects their family to be prayed for. Everybody expects some sort of compassion. Even you don’t know the person; it’s a stranger, you say, ‘Of course, I’m going…this is awful. How did this happen?’ Say, ‘They were slaughtered last night. Everybody, they came in the house, slaughtered everybody.’ Everybody would cry because they would immediately think of their own family, that how could that happen? But how could you have such a Yazid that for Prophet ﷺ whom you have immense love, supposedly, you don’t feel ashamed and sad and how people did like this.

Keep the Company of Sadiqeen Spiritually to Always Be With Them (Holy Qur’an, 9:119)

So, everyone has an inner Yazid, an inner Wahabi guy because he’s a munafiq (hypocrite). The system of inner munafiq is from the Hadith of Prophet ﷺ that anytime there’s two, the third is shaitan. Because everybody thinks from physical, ‘Oh, this is about men and women being in the same room.’ The spiritual, the feminine, is the soul, very gentle, very latif (subtle). The physical is the nafs (ego), very masculine, very evil.

So, then the third is going to be shaitan. If your life, you allow this relationship, you go everywhere with your nafs and shaitan, the two of them are partners. You don’t take the understanding of muraqabah (spiritual connection). You don’t take the understanding of accompanying “Kono ma’as sadiqeen”. “Ittaqollah wa kono ma’as sadiqeen”.

﴾يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ ﴿١١٩

9:119 – “Ya ayyuhal ladheena amanoo ittaqollaha wa kono ma’as sadiqeen.” (Surat At-Tawba)

“O you who have believed, have consciousness of Allah and be with those who are truthful/Pious/sincere (in words and deed).”  (The Repentance, 9:119) 

Is that for only physical? Or Allah (AJ) speaks for all of eternity? ‘Have a God consciousness and keep the company of the sadiqeen (truthful) whom their character is through their actions and deeds are truthful. Physically be with them, spiritually be with them because spiritually you can always be with them. 

Shaitan Partners With Your Inner Munafiq to Break Your Connection

You think of them. You learn how to do your madad (support). You learn how to make your connection. They are with you so that to break up this munafiq (hypocrite) relationship. When you do something, you call somebody into the room so that you’re not alone with shaitan. So, in our whole life and every action of our life, it has to be understood that I need to “Kono ma’as sadiqeen.” I have to always keep the presence of this shaykh, my guide, and the truthful servants of Allah (AJ). You determine who they are.

In your meditation and contemplation, you train and train and train. That every moment you’re training, you’re disrupting the munafiq relationship because the one who does not train, does not accept to train; as soon as they sit, their ego is whispering anti-prophet information. As soon as the ego starts, shaitan jumps in as his friend because shaitan’s always available.

Beware of Listening to Your Inner Munafiq So It Doesn’t Overtake You

So, two of them fighting you, whispering to your ear, ‘Oh, that Hadith, I don’t think it’s accepted. Oh no, I don’t think, oh they – they talk too much about the love of Prophet ﷺ.’ Now you see your munafiq (hypocrite) is talking. You’re sitting and listening. You’re giving credibility to your munafiq until one day you become the tongue of your munafiq. You listen so much, you listen so much until it overtakes you.

You provide the action of this shaitan and this nafs (ego). You begin to say things that are not nice, cast doubt upon the Hadith, cast doubt upon the purpose of the love, cast doubt, doubt on the birth of Prophet ﷺ, the same ones who want birthday parties for their children. Then you see in every action, they have hypocrisy. Now, if you understood that, that I should never at any moment be alone with my nafs. That’s why Prophet ﷺ described, ‘Ya Rabbi, don’t leave me for a blink of an eye to my ego.’ 

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَلَا أَقَلَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

“Allahumma laa takilnee ila nafsee tarfat `aynin wa laa aqala min dhalika.”

“O Allah! Don’t leave me to my ego for the blink of an eye or less.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Pray as if You’re in the Presence of Awliya and Prophet ﷺ

Why? Because if the…if you’re alone with your nafs, you know that shaitan is there. Two of them are now against you – whispering, whispering, whispering. Then they email that, ‘Shaykh, when I pray, I’m continually under attack.’ So, this is like a medical school. What did this just describe to you? How could you be under attack in your salah (daily prayer)? Because you must be just thinking it’s you and that you’re just going to Allah’s (AJ) Presence and that’s it. There’s no imam (religious leader). There’s never the presence of Prophet ﷺ with you; never, you’re in the companion of “Kono ma’as sadiqeen” (Holy Qur’an, 9:119) 

That’s not the system. The system was to think that I’m always with my imam. I’m always in the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, praying in jama‘ah (congregation) and that Prophet ﷺ is praying. As a result, I’m with awliyaullah (saints). I’m asking to be in their presence. As Allah (AJ) is ordering from Qur’an, “Wa kono ma’as sadiqeen”, ya Rabbi, keep me in their presence because I’m giving salaams (greetings) to them in attahiyat (sitting on knees during prayer) – “Assalamu alayka ayyuhan Nabi wa ‘Ibadullahis Saliheen”. 

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ. السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ،… 

“Attahiyatu Lillahi wa salawatu wat tayyibatu. Assalamu ‘alayka ayyuhan Nabiyu ﷺ,
wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. Assalamu ‘alayna wa ‘alaa ‘Ibadulllahis saliheen…” 

“All the best compliments and the prayers/praising and the pure/good things are for Allah. Peace and Blessings be upon you, O’ Prophet (Muhammad (pbuh)), and His Mercy and His Blessings too! Peace be on us and upon the righteous servants of Allah…” 

Remove Shaitan’s Presence By Building Your Connection Through Madad

So, when you make your salah (daily prayer), you ask for your madad (support): ‘Dress me and keep me in your presence.’ If you make a madad, shaitan is not coming to be in their presence because shaitan doesn’t come into the presence of these lights and these energies. Because he says, ‘I see what you don’t see. I’m not going to go and get burned by them.’ If shaitan doesn’t come, the nafs (ego) is not going to talk by itself. It doesn’t have the courage. The nafs will stay quiet, hide itself because he say, ‘Oh, this shaykh, when he comes, he’s going to burn us very badly’.

So, then the shaitan leaves and the nafs is domiciled because of the madad. So, then our life is that you are in a continuous battle against your hypocrisy. They say, ‘What is the hypocrisy, Shaykh?’ It’s your nafs and ego and shaitan getting together. Your nafs and shaitan partnering and ripping apart your belief system. Both don’t like Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The only way to fight it is with your wakil (representative), right? That’s why his shaykh is called the wakil.

When You’re Distracted in Your Prayer, You’re Being Attacked

As soon as my wakil (representative) is present, the shaitan ran. Because the haq (truth) and falsehood, they don’t come in the same vicinity because Allah (AJ) didn’t give the falsehood any power to fight them.

﴾وَ قُلْ جَآءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَطِلُ، إِنَّ الْبَطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا ﴿٨١

17:81 – “Wa qul jaa alhaqqu wa zahaqal baatil, innal batila kana zahoqa.” (Surat Al-Isra) 

“And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed falsehood, [by its nature], is ever perishing/bound to perish.” (The Night Journey, 17:81) 

When that light comes, shaitan ran. When shaitan ran, the ego has been abandoned. He’s like a pussycat, he’s hiding. Shaitan comes. He’s like a tiger, ripping your faith apart. If we truly understood that system, then there’s no email saying that, ‘I’m distracted in my prayer’. Why are you distracted in your prayer? Because you must be thinking you’ve passed the prophets, you’ve passed the saints and I’m in the Divinely Presence. But what Allah (AJ) is showing you when you’re attacked? You’re not in any Divinely Presence. Your nafs (ego) and shaitan are pooping all over you. That’s why you’re feeling you’re being scratched and attacked.

Enter Into Prayer With Madad to Experience It Through Awliya

So, your system didn’t work. But if you entered in and your life was about your madad (support), you make your connection, nothing coming into your presence. There’s no distraction in your salah (daily prayer). If you do it really good and really strong, you begin to become nothing. You experience the salah of these awliya because they’re fulkil mashhoon (loaded ships).

﴾وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّ‌يَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ ﴿٤١

36:41 – “Wa ayatul lahum anna hamalna dhurriyyatahum fil fulkil mashhooni.” (Surat YaSeen)

“And a sign for them is that we have carried their atoms/forefathers in the loaded ship.” (YaSeen, 36:41)

They take the lights and move. They show you, from their horizon, where they’re praying, where they’re making sujood (prostration) because it’s a light. If you say, ‘I’m nothing. I give no importance to my form, ya Rabbi. I’m nothing. That I’m just in their light and under their madad (support). They’re like my ship, wa kono ma’as sadiqeen. Your obedient servant, from Your Holy Qur’an, that I’m in their company, ya Rabbi’. As soon as the salah begins, we’re behind them. I’m nothing and these tajallis and these lights upon us. Then these energies and these blessings begin to dress the servant and push away every type of negativity.

Ask to Be Dressed By Divine Tajallis, to Be Nothing

Then they say, ‘I go into the zikr. As soon as I start to make zikr, I feel everything is attacking me.’ Same sickness. Because you’re allowing the munafiq (hypocrite) around you. You allow the nafs (ego) to sit next to you and shaitan sit right next to you in your zikr. The whole time you’re making zikr, they’re scratching your ears, talking to you, whispering to you, giving you every crazy thought. Same sickness.

You were supposed to make your madad, make your connection, make your madad. That, ‘Ya Rabbi, I don’t want my zikr. I’m stuck with myself and my filthy self. I’m asking to be dressed by their tajallis (manifestations), dressed by their lights’. “Wa kono ma’as sadiqeen” (Holy Qur’an, 9:119) ‘Keep me in their company, and I am nothing’. “Nasyam mansiyya,” huh? What did Hazrat Maryam (as) say? ‘Oh, I wish I was nonexistent’ – “Nasyam mansiyya”. ‘I wish I was something non-existent.’

﴾قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَـٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا ﴿٢٣…

19:23 – “…qalat ya laytanee mittu qabla hadha wa kuntu nasyam mansiyya.” (Surat Maryam)

“…She cried (in her anguish): Oh, I wish I had died before this! and I was a thing forgotten and out of sight!” (Mary, 19:23) 

Take From the Immense Yaqeen of Sayyidatina Maryam (as)

She was one of the masters of self-effacement, very spiritually powerful. When she had pain, they said, ‘Take from the date’. They say she moved the date palm down. Have you ever seen a date tree? We can’t move it. She moved it down to take the khorma, the date from it because of the immense yaqeen (certainty) and strength of her spiritual ability or spiritual reality. She gives to us in surah 19, ‘Oh, that I wish I was something non-existent.’ This is the path of wilayat (sainthood).

If we live by that creed that I’m nothing, I’m nothing, I’m nothing. I want their dress to be around me. “Nasyam mansiyya” (Holy Qur’an, 19:23) That I’m nothing, ya Rabbi, and their tajalli (manifestation) to dress me. That I’m in their salah (daily prayer) moving into the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, praying where Prophet ﷺ prays to Allah (AJ). Real salah – not imitated, fake salah by delusional thoughts of what Allah (AJ) is. None of us know where that reality is and what that reality is. The only servant of Allah (AJ) is Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. That’s why your salah is in Ahmad – alif, ha, meem, daal. Everything is in that reality. That’s where we started. Allah (AJ) is a hidden treasure wanting to be known.

قَال رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ، قَالْ اللَّه عَزَ وَجَلْ: “‏ كُنْت كَنْزاً مخفيا فَأَحْبَبْت أَنْ أُعْرَفَ؛ فَخَلَقْت خَلْقاً فَعَرَّفْتهمْ بِي فَعَرَفُونِي.” [حَدِيثْ اَلْقُدْسِي – بِحَارْ اَلْأنْوَارْ، اَلْعَلَامَةْ اَلْمَجْلِسِيْ، جُزْء ٨٤، صَفْحَة ١٩٩] 

Qala Rasulallahi ﷺ, Qala Allah (AJ): “Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.”  
[Hadith al Qudsi – Behar al Anwar, Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Juz’ 84, Safha 199] 

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, that Allah (AJ) said: “I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.”  
[Holy Hadith – Bihar al Anwar, by Al ‘Alama al Majlisi, Volume 84, Page 199] 

Your Inner Munafiq, If Not Defeated, Will Turn Away From Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

Our life is this battle against the munafiq (hypocrite). When we understood these verses, then don’t allow him in you. If you do, you become cursed by Allah (AJ). Continually doubting, doubting, doubting, doubting, then doubting the shaykh because he’s the closest one to you, easy to beat. You beat him, doubt him, doubt him, doubt him, doubt him. Okay, you’re now running into those verses where Allah (AJ) says, ‘Truly evil is what you’re listening to. You’re allowing this shaitan to defecate on your entire soul. The evilness of what you’re doing, you’re about to gain My lock onto your heart’. Until you get to the verse when you know your heart is locked is when Allah (AJ) say, ‘Go ask him for forgiveness.’ Say, ‘I would never ask him for forgiveness. I don’t accept him like that.’

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿٥﴾‏

63:5 – “Wa izaa qeela lahum ta’aalaw yastaghfir lakum rasoolul laahi lawwaw ru’oo sahum wa ra aytahum yasuddoona wa hum mustakbiroon” (Surat Al Munafiqun)

“And when it is said to them, “Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you,” they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.” (The Hypocrites, 63:5)

Munafiqs Become Powerful Finding Every Fault

You just made the criteria clear, right? Because it was the same to Prophet ﷺ. They would approach. They knew they had a dislike. Then Allah (AJ), ‘Go and ask the Prophet ﷺ for forgiveness’. Say, ‘Why?’ Turn their backs. So, the inner one is exactly the same, will do exactly the same, will become angered, will become disjointed, will be finding every type of difficulty, every type of wrong – the teaching’s wrong, the presence wrong, he’s wrong, this wrong, this wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. The munafiq became very powerful.

Now it meets the criteria on your path of ma’rifah (gnosticism). Allah (AJ) locks the heart. The munafiq (hypocrite) is overtaken the person. They move and they start to distance themself. The same danger we describe: if you have a munafiq in your company, it’s a danger. Your outside munafiq, very dangerous in the association. They sit according to every person. We don’t have strangers here for that same reason because we would have them, they would come and sit next to the person, [whispering noise] ‘There’s a group over there. They’re like that. They serve food at 8 o’clock, not 11 o’clock’.

You Won’t Survive What’s Coming If You Listen to Your Inner Munafiq

So, from amongst your people, you would have discord and shak and doubt. This was the greatest enemy for Prophet ﷺ. They’re in the middle of battle, 3,000 against 200. All you needed was one to say, ‘Do you really think we’re going to succeed today? Looks like we’re going to have big problems.’ So, you can begin to shake the inner core from inside. If we allow that in our lives and we allow that in our homes and we allow that on our tables, well then, we can understand that the system will self-implode and everything falls apart.

We pray that Allah (AJ) give us the strength to fight our inner munafiq, kill the inner munafiq, destroy the inner munafiq like a sword continuously against his neck. Keep, keep slicing him. Don’t let that munafiq to speak into you, to whisper into you, to give any khater (thought) to you because this is your greatest battle. That’s why Prophet ﷺ described this is Jihadil Akbar (greater struggle). If you cannot fight this munafiq, you will not survive these battles that are coming because that munafiq would tell you, ‘Run, you’re on the wrong side. Go to the people who want to build the Mukabah’, yeah. ‘Come habibi’. It’s a call from dajjal.

عَنْ جَابِرُ قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَوْمٌ غَزَاةٌ. فقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ” قَدِمْتُمْ خَيْرَ مَقْدَمٍ مِنْ الْجِهَادِ الْأَصْغَرْ إِلَى الْجِهَادِ الْأكْبَرْ.”  
قِيْلَ وَمَا اَلْجِهَادِ الْأكْبَرْ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: ” مُجَاهَدَةُ الْعَبْدِ هَوَاهُ .”  
[البيهقى في كتاب الزُّهدِ الْكَبِير ٣٧٣] 

“An Jabiru (as) qala, ‘qadema ‘ala Rasulullahi ﷺ qawmun ghazatun. Faqalan Nabiyu ﷺ : “Qademtum khaira maqdamin min jihadil Asghar ilal Jihadil Akbar.”  
Qeela “wa ma al Jihadil Akbar?” Qala ﷺ : “Mujahidatul ‘abdi hawahu.”  [‏ Bayhaqi fi Kitab Az Zuhdil Kabir  373] Jabir (as) narrated: ‘Some warriors came to the Holy Prophet. The Prophet (Muhammad) (pbuh) said to them, “Welcome back from the minor Jihad/Struggle to the greater Struggle.”  
It was asked, ‘What is the greater struggle Oh Prophet of Allah (Pbuh)?”  
The Prophet (pbuh) replied: “it is the servant’s fight/struggle against his own Ego/worldly desires.”   
[Bayhaqi in book of ‘The Great Asceticism  373] 

Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
