Call You with Your Imam
Call You with Your Imam
يَوْمَ نَدْعُو كُلَّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ ۖ
Holy Quran Surah Isra:
Yawma nadAoo kulla onasin bi-Imamihim ……..
One day We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imams: ……..

These are all on a path of yaqeen, certainty, to be certain of our Lord and become certain of the Way. It is important that as we collect these experiences, then we don’t deny them, we don’t become heedless. It is not like the material world where you get something and you let it go, and you go on to the next. The divinely world is accountable, that we showed you, don’t come back and deny, thumma ammanu, thumma kafaru, thumma ammanu, thumma kafaru, one day you believe and the next day you don’t believe. These are difficult in our approach to the divinely presence. Every experience is meant to give us certainty and not to go one step forward and ten steps backwards; to have experiences and then step backwards, have experiences and step backwards, but we are always praying that these experiences grant us strength, grant us a zeal with all the himmah that if You grant me this experience my Lord, grant me this energy, let me just feel that energy so that I can move forward.
A reminder from Mawlana Shaykh for us to understand that when Allah (SWT) describes in the Holy Qur’an that: We will call you with your imam, means there is a deep meaning in Allah (SWT)’s timeless reality. We say Allah has no time so every moment Allah is calling us with our imams. Now if we are in that state and with Allah (SWT) calling, and our imam is Shaytan, or our imam are our bad desires, or our imam is our nafs, then we are taking a dress of that calling, that Allah (SWT) is calling and we are in that state, and under the oppression of the self, and bad desires, and it has its difficulty. So for us the higher understanding is that in the associations of zikrullah they are not relying upon your ability to do zikr, that three people sit together and remember their Lord. That is from one level of understanding, but from the higher level Allah (SWT) is describing that: when We call you with your imam, it means those whose hearts are strongly connected to their imam and neither space nor time separates them from that imam.
It means they have muhabat /Love of their shaykh, they learn the hudoor and the presence of the shaykh, and are, and have been dressed with fana of the shaykh. It means that at every moment Allah is calling them, Allah has no time. We are calling you with that imam, if that imam is in the Divine Presence, means Sayyidina Muhammad (s) has the highest of stations, from Ahlul Bayt an-Nabi (s), from the Ashaab an-Nabi (s), and awliyallah. These awliyallah are always in the Divine Presence and when we connect to their train and love them, and keep their presence in our lives, and connect our heart to their reality, and like a rocket it is constantly shooting up the soul into that Divine Presence.
So then to do zikr with a real one means that Allah (SWT) is calling him with that imam into His Divine Presence, into the presence of Prophet (s), into the presence of awliyallah.
As a result anyone sitting with them is being shot up into that presence. It means the real circles of zikr with people whose hearts are open, and who have understood how to connect with their imam, and never to leave their imam, to be vigilant over the presence of their imam, then Allah (SWT) describes that their souls are alive; they merely release their soul into the room and everybody connects on their energy. Their soul is constantly in a calling to Allah (SWT), and Allah (SWT) is describing: We call you with your imam, means it is Allah’s Nazar, and it is the nazar of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Allah merely places His Will, His Irada like a boiling love into the heart of Prophet (s) and the amr, the order of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) begins to look.
Holy Quran Heart Surah YaSeen 36:82
إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
Innama amruhu itha aradashay-an an yaqoola lahu kun fayakoon
Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, “be”, and it is!
When Prophet (s) looks at that soul it melts in the love and ecstasy of Prophet (s). It means from the world of light it is the nazar of Prophet (s) that merely gazes and the souls are moving and lost, and drunk in the light of Prophet (s). It is not five people sitting and trying to remember their Lord and they see what type of dress or what type of blessing, and if three of them are crooks, and one is this or that, maybe Allah looks or maybe Allah doesn’t look, or Allah is happy, or Allah is not happy, but to teach that the real zikr, and the ones who are real, that their hearts are connected, and through that connection Allah (SWT)’s Gaze is on them, and Prophet (s)’s gaze is upon them, and with their light and that gaze it dresses their soul. As a result whoever is in the company of their soul will be dressed with that light.
And then Mawlana Shaykh teaches to contemplate what the nazar of Prophet (s) is, and it is unimaginable, it does not come like for us, we are cheap, when we give we barely give five dollars to each other, we are cheap, why do I have to give to you, maybe I can take from you or you can give me, Prophet (s) is not like that. The nazar of Prophet (s), the light of Prophet (s), the gaze of the Prophet (s) comes with all of its divinely dress filling the soul from top to bottom. Prophet (s) is a reflection of the Divine Reality.
Holy Quran 3:31
Transliteration
Qul in kuntum tuhibboona Allaha fattabioonee yuhbibkumu Allahu wayaghfirlakum thunoobakum wallahu ghafoorun raheem
Yusuf Ali
Say: “If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
When we are talking about Allah being Generous, the Prophet (s) is the reflection of that generosity. The light comes and fills from beginning to end, there is no need to even ask for anything, whatever the soul was in need off, Prophet (s)’s gaze and light dressed everything; it filled every incomplete space, filled and perfected and perfumed and graced everything. It is an unimaginable light that dresses the soul. It means then that the salawaat at the beginning is the whole washing and cleansing. We are asking from the salawaat that
Prophet (s) to be present with us, and for the Prophet (s) to be making salawaat back on us. Everyone mentions Prophet (s) one time, and we will be blessed ten times from the Prophet (s)’s salawaat in the Divine Presence. It means it comes fully loaded and charged. They call that in Surat al-Yaseen the fulqil mashoon, the loaded ship.
وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
The loaded ship is the light of the Prophet (s)’s soul, that when the light moves out it doesn’t emanate empty, it doesn’t emanate cheap, it emanates with every action that Allah (SWT) wants to be known through the light of Sayyidina Muhammad, means it fills everything, you are dressed from everything. That salawaat and the praising of Prophet (s) is the perfection that is washing, the dress of light. Then with that light and that perfection, with that nazar and dress, then making zikrullah means now you are in the light and the nazar of Prophet (s), within that light of Prophet (s) remembering Allah (SWT). It means it’s pure and perfected; it is actually Prophet’s remembrance of Allah (SWT), the Ahlul Bayt’s remembrance of Allah (SWT), the Ashaab an-Nabi’s remembrance of Allah (SWT), and the awliyaullah’s remembrance of Allah (SWT). In their light they are remembering Allah (SWT).
We pray that this year of hijrah opens deeper and deeper understandings of what a ni`mat and what a blessing Allah (SWT) has given to us in the reality of Prophet (s). And his love, and his mercy, and his compassion is so giving, and we don’t have to do anything to receive that, we don’t have to give anything to receive that, and all we have to do is to step towards the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). And in the love of Sayyidina Muhammad begins the remembrance and the praising of the Prophet (s), and that begins the opening of that light.
We pray that the meditations, and as soon as we sit in the meditation and in the zikr we sit and meditate and ask: ya Rabbi let me be in the presence of Your Holy Kab`ah, let me always be under the nazar of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), to wash and cleanse my soul that we are oppressors to our selves, and we are moving and running towards Your Rasulullah (s). Let his nazar wash us, his nazar dress us, and to always be in the presence of awliyaullah, under the flag of Sultan al-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani like a rocket who takes all souls into the presence, and this entire region is under Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani. We are asking to always see Mawlana Shaykh Hisham that Sayyidi you dress us, you perfect us, you present us to the holy presence of Sultan al-Awliya and that Sultan al-Awliya will have rida, be happy and satisfied with us, and merely shoot the soul into the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), keeping our eyes closed and just breathing and picturing ourselves at the Holy Kab`ah and all light, from all directions around us inshaAllah…
