Follow the Shamsul Arefeen – Sayyidina Muhammad (saws)

Awliyaullah (Saints) teach us that your life should be focusing on the reality of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), on the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), how to praise and to honor Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). He is not in need of our honor but we are in need to honor that reality, to love that reality, to cherish that reality that Allah (Azza wa Jal) has given: wa ma arsalnaka rahmatan lil ‘aalameen.

21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatan lil’alameen.” (Surat Al Anbiva)

“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” (The Prophets 21:107)

Allah (Azza wa Jal) says that, “I would not have sent it,” and starts with a negation that, “I would not have sent but it is a Rahma for all of my Creation,”. Alhamdulillah Awliyaullah come into our lives and teach us that keep your focus on Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), keep your focus on those who love Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Almost every word from Awliya’s heart and lips is in praising and glorification of Allah (Azza wa Jal) with the praising and love of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Reality of YA SEEN  يس

Rabi ul Thani (4th Lunar month) is Baab ul Qalb –

Heart of Prophet Muhammad (s)
4 x 9 = 36

The fourth lunar month that we are in now, Rabiul Thani is the month of thirty-six, 9 x 4 = 36. Thirty-six is the heart of Holy Qur’an. Now the Cave becomes understood that the Cave that we are running to yaa Rabbi asking to run to this Cave to the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). 

This month is opening the reality that come into the secrets of Surat al Yaseen (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)’s name is Yaseen alayhis salaam , Habibullah.

Salatullah salamullah,          ‘ala Taha Rasullillah
Salatullah salamullah,         ‘ala Yaseen Habibillah

Allah’s praise, Allah’s blessing upon Taha, Messenger of Allah
Allah’s praise, Allah’s blessing upon the Yaseen, Beloved of Allah

Yaseen, Habibullah means that Allah Azza wa Jal’s love for Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and Prophet’s love for Allah (Azza wa Jal) is something that cannot be understood and (there) cannot be (anything) in the middle of that. All Creation was seeking Allah Azza wa Jal’s love. Habibullah,  means Allah (Azza wa Jal) has an ancient love for Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants to please, wants Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) to be happy, and gives that love and raises Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) to that Divinely Presence.

YA SEEN  ي س = يس
Yaa ي Is the Secret of Yaqeen يقين (Certainty)
Seen  س  Is the Sir ul Asrar – Secret of all Secrets

Means that when we enter into the 36 in the 4^th lunar month, that ship is moving into the oceans of Surat al Yaseen (36^th Chapter of Holy Quran) which is the heart of Holy Qur’an. They teach us that the Yaa ي begins to open its realities and it is the secret of Ya’qeen يقين , the ocean of certainty. The Seen and Noor al Anwar wa seerat al asrar is the secret of our whole existence.

Means the soul is moving into the Cave, into the presence of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), into the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). And Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) wants to open for us the fountain of realities because the next Surahs will begin to explain all the way to the twelfth, multiplied by nine 12x 9 =108 is the Kawthar (Chapter 108^th of Holly Quran). Everything is coming from al Kawthar (The Abudance).

Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants that if you come into the heart, that is the heart of everything in Creation because everything is emanating from Holy Qur’an. Holy Qur’an is emanating from Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)’s heart, Yaseen. It is not just any Cave. Allah (Azza wa Jal) says: My uncreated Holy Speech emanating from that soul’s heart. Don’t think of it as physicality, think of it in the world of light and Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants to take ashiqeen into that heart. And that heart is huge, Mawlana describes, it is like Niagara Falls, that the amount of power coming out is unimaginable. When you go to Niagara Falls and you see the waterfall, it is this huge emanating force that is coming out. All realities, everything in existence comes from Holy Qur’an and Allah Azza wa Jal’s Holy Qur’an is coming from the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). That is why it (Ya Seen) is the heart of Holy Qur’an. Who brought Holy Qur’an onto this Earth? Where Allah (Azza wa Jal) says: if I reveal My Qur’an to the mountain, the mountain will be Khashiyya, will be dust, and I reveal to the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and he is firm (saws).

59:21 – “Law anzalna hadha al Qurana ‘ala jabalin laraaytahu, khashi’an mutasaddi’an min khashyatillahi, wa tilkal amthalu nadribuha linnasi la’allahum yatafakkaron.” (Surat Al Hashr)
“Had We sent down this Qur’an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it obliterated to dust (from its power), And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will contemplate.” (Quran, The Exile 59:21)

Means then the fourth month is a time for tafakkur (contemplate) that the greatness of Surat al Yaseen wal Qur’anal Hakeem.

36:1-4 – “Ya-seen.(1) wal Qur’anal Hakeem.(2) Innaka laminal mursaleen.(3) ‘ala siratim mustaqeem.(4)” (Surat Yaseen)

“Ya-seen.(1) By the Qur’an, full of Wisdom. (2) Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, (3) On a straight path. (4)” (Holy Quran)

Allah (Azza wa Jal) testifies to this heart, to this reality, wal Qur’an. This Yaseen is the source of My Qur’an, wal Hakeem and all hikma (wisdom) and all realities are coming from this fountain. Awliyaullah want to take us, that come into that Yaseen, by what? By loving Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) more than you love yourself. These are the oceans of faith. If you don’t love Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) more than your love yourself, you don’t think about that. So what Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said to his Companions is that: love me more than you love yourself.

Qala Rasullulah (saws)”La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”

“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (saws)

Means lose yourself, lose all your bad characteristics, lose all that you are trying to identify yourself, be nothing, be nothing, be nothing and come into that heart and it begins to dress you. Wal Qur’an, Allah (Azza wa Jal) testifies that: by My Qur’an I am going to dress you, bless you and give you every hikma. Ilm ladoni wa hikmat bis saliheen. 

Yaa ي  

All Alphabet – Alif ا to Yaa ي  is combined into Yaa يا

Everything is coming from Yaseen, alayhis salaat o was salaam. That Yaa itself depending upon which way we are moving in that marifah, the Yaa itself contains all `Ulom ul Awwaleen wal Akhireen (knowledges of the beginning and the end), because the regular Arabic alphabet is bayna Alif ا wa Yaa ي.  The regular alphabet is in the order of Alif and the last letter being Yaa, so from Alif ا to Yaa ي  is combined into Yaa يا.

Means Allah (Azza wa Jal) is dressing that Yaqeen يعين (certainty) and how to achieve that Yaqeen will dress you from that reality of that Yaa يا. That everything from the Alif, all the twenty-eight letters to the Yaa will be put into your heart and every Kalam (word) is from those ingredients. Everything is from letters. If Allah (Azza wa Jal) throws those letters and the realities of those letters into the heart.

Yaa يا Contains All Knowledges of the the beginning and the end

Means everything that is comprising the world of letters, its knowledge is from that Yaa يا, from Alif ا to Yaa ي, all its `Uloom is in those letters and those letters are Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). It is in the Yaa Seen. It is describing now Sayyidina Yaseen alayhis salaam is contained bayna (between) Alif ا wa Yaa ي ; every written word is from these letters. It is from these twenty-eight letters, the twenty-ninth being Laam-Alif لا . Every written knowledge is from that and all of that is from Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), what Allah (Azza wa Jal) inspires upon the soul and the holy tongue of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Seen س = Sir سر – Secret of Certainty

‘Ilm al Yaqeen, ‘ayn al Yaqeen and Haqq al Yaqeen
علم اليقين، عين اليقين، حق اليقين 

All that knowledge and then they dress us from the Seenس , from the Sirr سر, our whole life is to seek out the Sirr, the Secret. The Secret is from ‘Ilm al Yaqeen علم اليقين, ‘ayn al Yaqeen عين اليقين and Haqq al Yaqeen حق اليقين because this Yaa ي of Yaqeen يقين is going to dress us from all those realities. When Allah (Azza wa Jal) throws into the heart all the huroof from Alif ا to Yaa ي  means the heart is filled with the ingredients necessary to bring out all of its realities.

Then they begin to teach that come towards the Secret. If Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) begins to open the Sirr سر into the heart and begin to give you from ‘Ilm al Yaqeen علم اليقينthese are the knowledges that they teach in these associations. The knowledge of wudu (ablution) is not going to do anything. Knowledge of wudu going to clean you so that you can make your namaz (prayer) but you cannot go into Allah Azza wa Jal’s Divinely Presence and ask for realities.

‘Ilm al Yaqeen علم اليقين –

Knowledge of Certainty and Haqayiq  (Realities)

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ
102:5 – “Kal la law t’alamoona ‘ilm al yaqeen.“ (Surat At Takathur)

“No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty.”  (Holy Quran)

So ‘Ilm al Ya‘qeen has to do with Haqayiq (realities). These are the knowledge’s of Haqayiq because the Seen س is like a ‘W’ open one of those oceans that you have to be fed from the knowledge of realities. Because this is the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) who now wants to give the treasures. The treasure from the soul of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is kanzu‘llah.

كُنْت كَنْزاً مخفيا فَأَحْبَبْت أَنْ أُعْرَفَ؛ فَخَلَقْت خَلْقاً فَعَرَّفْتهمْ بِي فَعَرَفُونِي
“Kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, fa ahbabtu an a’rafa, fa khalaqtu khalqan, fa ‘arraftahum bi fa ‘arafonee.”

“I was a hidden Treasure then I desired to be known, so I created a creation to which I made Myself known; then they knew Me.”

What they describe is that the only treasure of Allah (Azza wa Jal) is from Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). “I am going to throw that Yaa into your heart that yaqeen يقين ” and every ‘uloom (knowledges) and very letter that has been written, that knowledge will be in your heart. That is why awliyaullah have ‘Uloom ul Awwaleen wal Akhireen (the knowledges of the beginning and the end).  They are more powerful than Google. It used to be Yahoo but Yahoo went out of business, maybe Allah didn’t like that you can’t say something a Yahoo because there is only One, Yaa Huu يا هو.

So for ‘Ilm al Ya‘qeen knowledge of Certainty, you have to be sitting in that association, if you are not sitting in that association of ‘Ilm al Ya‘qeen then you are wasting your time.

‘Ayn al Yaqeen  عين اليقين – Vision of Certainty

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ
102:7 – “Thum ma la tara wun naha ‘ayn al yaqeen.” (Surat At Takathur )

“Then you will surely see it with the eye/vision of certainty.” (Holy Quran, 102:7)

These associations of ‘Ilm al Ya‘qeen begin to teach that you have to be trained on ‘ayn al-Yaqeen عين اليعقين Vision of Certainty.  That the eyes of your head will get you nowhere, it is the eye of the soul and the eye of the heart that has to be trained. Means these knowledges are good for the soul and you do not have to understand them because you are looking at me like, “What is he talking about?” (laughter) it’s okay.

‘Ayn ع of al ’Aleem العليم (The All Knowing)

‘Ayn al Yaqeen عين اليقين they begin to teach that ‘ayn is the ‘Eye of Certainty’. ‘ayn al Yaqeen عين اليقين is also the ‘ayn ع of al ’Aleem العليم. Siffat al ’Aleem العليم (The All Knowing). That Allah (Azza wa Jal) is going to give you the two ‘ayn’s: one I am going to train you to close your physical eyes because these are a distraction for you, you are looking at all the wrong things. Those things are going to bring darkness into your heart.

Train your Eyes in Khelwat (Seclusion) to Open Heavenly Vision

Live a life in which you close your eyes and put yourself in darkness. Many times they train themselves where they are shut off in a room. You go into a room where there is no light, and no one is in contact with that person. They sit in darkness and they light one candle for reading Dalaail al Khairat or Qur’an and they play salawaats and durod shareef and say, “Yaa Rabbi this is my grave until you open the lights of my grave I am not leaving this room.”

Every night from ‘asr to Maghrib they would seclude themselves until they train themselves and train themselves until the order of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) comes to put that servant into seclusion because they are training for it. They are training for death, not death like suicide bombers who harm people, those are jahal (ignorant) donkeys. But they train for death on themselves, they put hardship on themselves. They make a room in a closet and say, “Yaa Rabb this is my qabr, this is my grave, either my grave will be illuminated in life, I don’t want it in death,”

They sit and practise and practise and if Allah (Azza wa Jal) finds a sincerity in what they do, begins to emanate and open the Basirah, open the eye of their heart and soul. If the eye of their heart opens that room becomes illuminated from their heart. Through the eyes of the soul they see what Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants them to see from the love of their shaykh, love of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and love of Divinely Presence.
Khulafae Rashideen – The Owners of`Ayn ع Allah’s Ancient Knowledge العليم

Through that Allah (Azza wa Jal) says: since you opened that ‘ayn عين (Vision), I am going to dress you from My Ancient Qadeem ‘ayn ع, I am going to dress you from Siffat al ’Aleem العليم. Means that I am going to give you from My Ancient Knowledges which were who? Sayyidina ‘Ali علي, Sayyidina ‘Umar عمر, Sayyidina ‘Uthman عثمان, and Sayyidina Abu Bakr (whoes real namle was ‘Abdullah عبدالله) ridwanullahi ta’ala ajma’een. They were the sahib and the owners of the ‘ayn ع. They were the owners of Allah Azza wa Jal’s ancient realities.

Haqq al Yaqeen حق اليقين – Truth of Certainty

69:51 – “Wa inna Hu, la haqqul yaqeen.” (Surat Al Haqqah )

“Indeed, He is the truth of certainty.” (Holy Quran, The Reality)

“That I am going to dress you,” that Siffat (divinely attribute) will bless you, that Siffat (al ‘Aleem) will give you all illuminations and light within your heart. That you merely make your tafakkur in your contemplation and what you seek out of knowledge and realities, it begins to flow into the heart and emanate upon the tongue. That becomes Haqq al Yaqeen حق اليقين.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْيَقِينِ
56:95 – “Inna hadha la huwa haq qul yaqeen.” (Surat Al Waqi’ah )

“Indeed, this is the truth of certainty.” (Holy Quran, The Inevitable)

They are not a people who read a book and talk to an audience. Naqshbandiyya rules are very strict, there is no reading a book and talking to people. The ‘Uloom, the knowledge that you speak has to be something that you experience. Means that knowledge came in, went through your heart, and through your tafakkur and through contemplation you saw the reality of that knowledge, you tasted and experienced that knowledge, it becomes a Haqq حق (truth) for us. Anything other than that, if you talk about something that you have not experienced, you are a liar in their presence because it is a lie, you didn’t experience it.

The ‘Ilm al Yaqeen, ‘ayn al Yaqeen, Haqq al Yaqeen علم اليقين، عين اليقين، حق اليعقين begin to open and that becomes the source of reality, that becomes the dress of Yaa Seen (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Means from the heart begins to open the realities for the ashiqeen Ahbaab an Nabi they are the lovers of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and they are the doorkeepers of the realties because they want that reality, they want to be dressed by these realties.

Ahlul Qalb اهل القلب – People of the Heart – ق ل ب

When you call these people, these are the people of the qalb قلب, why qalb? ق ل ب
Qaaf ق : Because Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) opened every knowledge onto them, every reality of Holy Qur’an is dressed upon them, they carry the Qaaf ق wal Qur’an al Majeed because these are the people of the qalb.

50:1 – “Qaaf, wal Quranil Majeed.”
“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an. ” (Surat Qaf 50:1)

Laam ل : Allah (Azza wa Jal) dressing for them the Laam ل that they have Lisan as Siddiqلسان الصديق , they inherited from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) the Lisaan as-Haqq.

Qul قل – It means that Qul قل is emanating upon them and Allah (Azza wa Jal) is dressing them from the Baaب .

Baaب : Means all the knowledges of Holy Quran are in thirty Juz, the thirty Juz are in (Surat) Fatiha and all of Fatiha in Bismillah ar Rahmaan ar Raheem and all of Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem like a laser in the Baa ب .

3:7 – “Fil ‘ilmi yaqolona aamanna bihi kullun min ‘indi Rabbina, wa ma yadhdhakkaru illa olol al-bab”

“But those firm in knowledge say, “We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord.” And no one will be reminded except those People of the Door/understanding.”

Qur’an القرآن => Fatiha الفاتحة => Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم => Ba ب

That is why Ahlul Qalb اهل القلب contain that reality, Allah’s Qaaf ق  is upon them. These are also the people of Qudrah قدرة and Qadr قدر . Allah dressed them on Laylatul Qadr ليلة القدر. They are the people who inherited the lisaan ul Haq لسان الحق and the tongue of truth  as a result that Baa ب is active within their soul and within their being.

As a result, it is enough for them to recite Fatiha and all the dress of Holy Qur’an will come through that Surat al Fatiha (first chapter of Quran), because they carry the secret of Surat al Fatiha.

We pray that Allah (Azza wa Jal) dresses us in this holy month from Surat al Yaseen and its realities and under the Siffatal ‘Ali, the Most High, the 36^th name of Allah (Azza wa Jal) from Dalaail al Khairat and the 36^th name of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is al Muhiyy (The Reviver). That Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) open our hearts to the highest reality and highest levels and bring us into the ashiqeen into the heart of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

This reality is based on LOVE

This reality is not based on salah (daily prayer), this reality is not based on zakat (charity), not on sawn ar Ramadan (fasting). This is from the hadith that Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “You will be with whom you love.” The Sahabah got up and were ecstatic.

“Narrated Anas ibn Malik:  A man asked the Prophet about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying, “When will the Hour be?” The Prophet said, “What have you prepared for it?” The man said, “Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle.” The Prophet said, “Almar o, ma’a man ahab. You will be with those whom you love.”

We had never been so glad as we were on hearing that saying of the Prophet (i.e., “You will be with those whom you love.”) Therefore, I love the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar, and I hope that I will be with them because of my love for them though my deeds are not similar to theirs.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

You do all your ‘amal (actions) because Allah ordered the ‘amal  and you want to show respect to Allah Azza wa Jal.  But this reality is not from excessive prayers and excessive fasting and excessive worshipness, this is from love that Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) words are true, you will be with whom you love.

Love of Muhammad (s) Pulls your Light and Changes Your Entire Being

Loveis a very powerful bond that traverses all time and space. If you have someone youreally love and they die, you will never be the same. Your entire being will change, the glue of your entire existence will pull your whole reality apart. Love is beyond time, beyond understanding. Love is so deep within the heart and so powerful within the heart that as soon as you love, you love and you love, immediately that signal goes out and Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)’s signal comes in like a very powerful magnet and begins to pull you and all your being and all your lights are moving towards Prophet sallam alayhi wa sallam and each one is being dressed and blessed by that reality.

We pray that Allah (Azza wa Jal) dresses us and blesses us from these realities and increases us in the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Subhaana rabbika rabbil`izzati ‘amma yasifoon wa salamun ‘alal mursaleen wal hamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen.
