Audhu Billahi min ash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
A reminder for myself ana abda kul ajeez wa da’eef wa miskin wa zhalim wa jahl, and by the Grace of Allah (AJ) we are still in existence. We took a path to be nothing.
Follow the Companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, They are Stars
Every reality that Prophet ﷺ is bringing for the people of haqqaiq (realities) is to improve themselves and for people to understand the way of realities. That Prophet ﷺ was teaching that my companions are like stars in a dark night.
“Ashabi kan Nujoom, bi ayyihim aqta daytum ahta daytum.”
“My companions are like stars. Follow any one of them and you will be guided.” Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Anyone of them that you follow, that you take as a guide, because the stars are in reference to guidance not for looking at in amusement. But Prophet ﷺ was giving a isharat (sign) that in the event that I am not present with you, that my companions are like guides. And Prophet’s ﷺ words are eternal realities. That Prophet’s ﷺ all Ahbab an Nabi ﷺ, that lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ are inheriting from that holy hadith.
Ahbab an-Nabi ﷺ Are Modern Day Reality of Companions
That Prophet ﷺ is not leaving this nation to be unattended. That in this nation Ahbab-an-Nabi ﷺ, they are the modern day reality of the companionship. They accompany by love and Prophet ﷺ said that you’ll be with whom you love.
Qala Rasulullah ﷺ “Almar o, ma’a man ahab.”
Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “One is with those whom he loves.”
It means that the accompanying, as-Sahabi (companions) were given the ranks which cannot be compared, but just for the sake of understanding, they were granted that rank by following Prophet ﷺ. Ahbab and the lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ are given a rank of guidance by their love. Because of their love, because of how they followed, because Allah (AJ) dressed them from sincerity – they become Ahbab, lovers.
And Prophet’s ﷺ words are true that you will be with whom you love. If you are loving Prophet ﷺ, those lovers are in a continuous association with Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. That’s their proof, that’s who they are. That’s their ijaza, that’s their permission. When someone talks about permission, they are in the continuous presence of Prophet ﷺ. They don’t move, they don’t do anything without the permission because they’re in that reality of love. As a result Prophet ﷺ dress them. As a similar understanding that anyone of my ahbab you follow, you’ll be guided.
9:119 – “Ya ayyuhal ladheena amanoo ittaqollaha wa kono ma’as sadiqeen.” (Surat At-Tawba)
“O you who have believed, have consciousness of Allah and be with those who are truthful/ Pious /sincere (in words and deed).” (The Repentance, 9:119)
The Star of David (as), Solomon (as) and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Now the reality of guidance is a najm, is a star. So this reality of the star is what Allah (AJ) gave to us. So that in this insan, there are two triangles. There’s a triangle pointing up that takes from the forehead to the right chest and to the left chest. So, you make a triangle moving from your forehead to the right chest and over, this is your upward. So three 60 degree angles, this is the Star of David, star of Sulayman (Solomon); it’s all the star of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
The Lower Triangle – ‘666’ is a Sign of Dajjal
So three points up. There’s also a triangle with three points down from the same point of the chest, the two points of the chest, and it moves to the genitals. So there’s a triangle pointing down, 60 degree angles, 60 degrees, 60 degrees, 60 degrees. ‘666’ because we don’t have a zero (in Arabic), the 6 with the dot ( ٦٠). And 6-6-6 up.
Why these people understand ‘666’ and they say this is the Dajjal? A sign from Dajjal? It’s because the downward triangle is their body. The upward triangle is their soul. If the body and the soul are not locked in the harmony and in the guidance that Allah had intended.
Sayyidina YaSeen ﷺ Perfects the Star and Turns Us into 36
“Wa laqad karamna bani Adam,” (We have honored this creation of Adam and Eve).
17:70 – “Wa laqad karramna bani adama…” (Surat Al-Isra)
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam…” (The Night Journey, 17:70)
If it does not reach its perfection, which would be six 6s = 36 which is Yaseen (36th chapter of holy Quran). This is the month of Surat YaSeen – this is the reality. Why? Because star is an inheritance from Prophet ﷺ. When Prophet ﷺ describes you’ll be with whom you love, he says, “I’m going to turn you into a 36. I’m going to perfect your 6 points up; ‘666’, and I’m going to perfect your six points down.” Your three sixes down, three sixes up becomes six 6s; 36. Right!
If Star is Not Perfected, ‘666’ Becomes Reality of Dajjal
If you’re not perfected up which is now 99.9% of dunya (material world), they only have the ‘666’ of the lower desires. And that’s why they say the Dajjal and the anti-Messiah is bringing people towards that reality. Because the majority of people are operating from their dunya (material world) desires. So ‘666’; it’s a sixty degree. It’s a triangle with 60 degree angles – three of them. 6-6-6 down, 6-6-6 up. If in perfection, it’s 36. If it’s not in perfection, it’s just the lower desires.
Soul’s Perfection is in Islam, Iman, Ihsan
So this means that in this way of reality, the right, the bottom base of the upward reality of the soul: Islam, Iman, wal Maqam-ul-Ihsan. So the soul’s perfection is in the right – Islam. So your right chest (because you’re looking at me it’s the reverse) your right chest is Islam; left – into your heart is iman. So remember, iman is in the heart. Maqam-ul-Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence) is on your forehead or they call it the third eye.
This is an eye of intuition. It means the Ahlul Basirah (people of spiritual vision), they see, not from like an eye being up here on their forehead, but the power of their heart makes them to see from their reality, which they see from Maqam-ul-Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence). That’s why Maqam-ul-Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence) is that to know Allah (AJ) sees you. Because this is now in reference to the ayn and the vision of spirituality.
“An Ta’bud Allaha, Ka annaka tarahu, fa in lam takun tarahu fa innahu yarak.”
“It (Ihsan – Station of Excellence) is to serve Allah as though you behold [See] Him; and if you don’t behold [See] him, (know that) He surely sees you.” Prophet Muhammad (saws)
Perfect the Soul Through Islam (Submission)
So it means that the upward reality of the soul that Prophet ﷺ is bringing; that if you want to perfect your soul, the soul’s reality is based on Islam. How good, how clean, how perfected your tasleem (submission) is. Because let’s bring everything back into the English, we are not here to make people Arabs. The Islam, where people are submitting, but they don’t know what Islam is. They’re submitting themselves to the will of God. And that’s what Prophet ﷺ wants. That’s what Allah (AJ) wants. Allah (AJ) created all religions, created all His creation, created all that creation with love. What He wants is He wants: My will to come, My kingdom to come, My will must be done.
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven… And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” — The Lord’s Prayer
That, Islam is to tasleem, to submit: “I submit my will to the will of my creator. At least, I’ll take a path in which I attempt to submit my will to the will of my creator.” That becomes the base and the foundation of that soul reality. This is now to unlock the power of your soul.
Perfected Shaykhs are Stars in the Darkness of Ignorant World
These are only by the perfected Shaykhs (spiritual guides) in which Allah (AJ) made them to be stars. If you’re not a star, how can you explain a star? Prophet ﷺ is teaching that, ‘They are my stars on this darkness of jahal, of ignorance of dunya. They’re meant to be guides to bring you back to that reality.’
So the Islam that they teach you. Not the one that you pick up from other books and other places and mix 50 different teachers and most of them aggressive, most of them angry. We were talking today that if you read a book and you give a lecture and you read hadith and you give a lecture, you give a lecture, you give a lecture, people may be astonished at the hadith of Prophet ﷺ. But between you and me, it doesn’t mean that you read it a thousand times and it changed you. So Islam is an action. That I’ve to make myself to submit, I have to be broken down, I have to efface myself. I can read all I want. But, many people astonished that these scholars who go out and read knowledges to people, but their character is very bad. Because what they read and what they did, didn’t affect them. This is not the way of reality and they don’t become stars.
Awliya Guide Through Testing to Discipline You
Those who accompany guides; the process of their guidance is to grind, to grind, to grind. So that at every moment they’re grinding you down; so that it’s not your will, not your mind, not what you want to do but what Allah (AJ) wants to do. They inspire you that listen to your heart, listen to your heart. Don’t talk too much, listen more! Put difficulty against yourself! Do things that are difficult against yourself! Instead of treating yourself, treat the mosque. Treat your faith. Treat all these different responsibilities that you have! So continuous bombardment against the self and what happens? Their Islam becomes real.
True Iman (Faith) Comes From Your Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
Then the Shaykh begins to teach bring faith into your heart – the soul‘s reality. And then they ask, “What’s the faith? What’s real faith?” The love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is your iman. That, love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself, is then now the work of the heart.
“La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Build Your Own Realities Through Silence and Submission
So then their real submission is working. Not that they read to somebody’s something, somebody else’s realities and then you begin to believe it’s yours. No! You’ve to make in life your own realities. So you can build somebody else’s dream or you make your own dream. It means that is somebody else’s realities, you’ve to build your own through your own submission, through your own effacing.
If that process is truly crushing and you’re secluding yourself, secluding yourself and the first way of tariqah (spiritual path) was samt, was silence. You’re not allowed to speak for seven years in your training. If Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) had a rock in his mouth, and this is the great Siddiq-al-Mutlaq, then the seven thousand years of rock won’t be enough for us. There’s no permission to talk. You stay silent, stay silent so that you’re grinding, grinding and crushing so that nothing false comes from your mouth.
Real Shaykhs Hide Themselves Until They Have Permission to Speak
So how many years they were hidden? You never saw them. They were always with their Shaykh. You never even saw them in a picture; they weren’t standing next to the Shaykh in every picture opportunity. They were hidden. They say, “Where were you in the conference (in LA)?” They were hidden. “Where were you when they were talking?” They were hidden. They were mainly in seclusion and isolating themselves.
When ijaza and permission came to speak, then you saw their face everywhere. Because it’s a dark night and Prophet ﷺ says, “You’re one of my stars. Go out.” If they’re not a star, you don’t see them. You don’t see. If it’s not a star, you don’t see. It just stays mixed into the darkness of the background. So they perfected their Islam to be nothing.
Give What You Have for the Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, He is watching
Then as a result their Shaykhs taught them, love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself! Do everything for that love and for the attention of Prophet ﷺ! So then they say, I’m going to get on a plane. For who? For love of Prophet ﷺ. I’m going to give what I don’t even have, for the love of Prophet ﷺ. I’m going to go for the Mawlid (celebration of the birthday of Prophet ﷺ) for the love of Prophet ﷺ. I’m going to go even I don’t have anything. I’m going to go buy myself a beautiful suit for the love of Prophet ﷺ. You don’t think Prophet ﷺ is watching? This is very sweet.
Not the one who has everything and brings like one baklava. A person may have hundreds of thousands and brings one baklava. Everybody, according to what they have, Prophet ﷺ is watching. There are people who have virtually not that much, but they do everything and it’s sincere. It’s not the amount that matters. It’s relative to who you are, what you have, what you are doing for Prophet ﷺ. If you have all the time in the world and you give all your time to Prophet ﷺ, it’s amazing! He is watching, he is loving, he is astonished by this love. In this crazy dunya, you’re doing all this stuff. Now this is the nazar (gaze) of Prophet ﷺ.
If you have everything and you give to everyone everything, when it comes to your deen, you throw a few pennies and say be happy with these pennies. Prophet ﷺ says, “Okay! We’ll show you what to be happy with.” Everything is relative. So when you want the attention, they give all their love. That’s why it meant to love Prophet ﷺ more than you love yourself.
“La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Take Every Difficulty for the Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
All your hard choices are based on that love. When they say move into an area, you move! When they say go to that place, you go to that place! When they say do that zikr (remembrance), you do that zikr (remembrance)! Everything you’re doing is for the love. Just gaze at me, look at me, with your eye of happiness, and I’ll be happy. Even if the whole world throws me into fire, but you’re happy. Your rida with me, I’m happy. And they say in the fields of Karbala, all people saw was the fire of the enemy and what Imam Hussain (as) saw, was the open arms of Prophet ﷺ. “Just run to me. Ignore all these sufferings and sadness just run to me!” This is the Sayyidu Shuhada – the masters of those who see, they teach us.
And that we’re weak. We don’t want, you know, the horrific difficulty. But through every hardship, let me see the sweetness of Your ﷺ Holy face, and I’ll walk on glass and thorns to reach to You. Prophet ﷺ says, “If you do that, then you’re sincere. Of course you’re my Ahbab. You love me and I love you.” And Sahabi (ra) were jealous of that title. They said, “I thought we were the lovers! He said, “No, you are my Sahabi. You are with me. Of course you’re going to love me.” Because how much the fragrance and beauty of Prophet ﷺ they seen. But these people have never seen me. They’ll give everything for one glimpse of me.
‘An Ansi bin Malik Qala, Qala Rasulullahi (saws):“Mata alqa ahbabiyu?
Faqala Ashabuhu: bi abina anta wa amnan, aw lasna ahbabuk?
Faqala: Antum Ashabiyun, ahbabiyun: qawmun lam yarweni, wa aamano bi, wa ana ilayhim bil ashwaqi aksara.”
Based on Anas Ibn Malik, the messenger of Allah said: “When would I meet my beloveds?
The companions said: O’ by our fathers and mothers, aren’t we your beloveds?
The Prophet (pbuh) said: you are my companions. My beloveds are those who had never seen me, and believed in me, and I have a deep longings for them”. [Narrated in Musnad Alferdaus (4/148).]
Seek the Holy Nazar (Gaze) of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ
And they spent their nights crying that am I worse than Abu Lahab? That Abu Lahab saw you and bothered you and I haven’t done anything bad. Let me see you! Don’t make me to feel that I’m worse than Abu Lahab. They cry. They have a dialogue with Prophet ﷺ, “Please! Abu Lahab saw you. I can’t be that bad that I can’t see you. Grant me a vision of you! Grant me to gaze at you! Even I’m not worthy of seeing your face!”
But, they asked that everyday let me just see your feet. And visualize the sandal, the beautiful sandal and the foot of Prophet ﷺ. And just say let me just to keep my lips on your feet, my head on your feet and I’ll be safe. I’ll be safe with your love. And your love to dress me and bless me and take away all my difficulties. Until the day that Prophet ﷺ says, “Gaze at me!” Not asking to gaze at Prophet ﷺ because I don’t find myself worthy of that. But say, “Ya Rabbi, let me to see His beloved feet!” Everybody can imagine a foot. You imagine a beautiful sandal, a beautiful fragrant foot and that “Ya Rabbi, just my lips to His Feet, my head to His Feet!” This is an ihtiram and a respect. Let me to be fragranced from this station! Then Allah (AJ), inshaAllah, opens the stations of iman (faith). Their Islam becomes real, their struggle against themselves become real. They’re hidden, hidden, hidden.
All Beauty of This World is to Honour Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Their iman begins to grow. They begin to love Prophet ﷺ and see that love in everything, everything beatific. Like the naat that we’ve been reading, the flowers are not here beautiful for me and you.
Terey liyea hee, Dunya bani hay
Neelay falak ki, Chadar tani hay
Tu agar na hota Dunya thi khali
Saare nabi tere dar ke sawali
The universe is created for you, the blue sheet of the sky is spread out for you. If you were not in existence, the world would have been empty, All prophets are at your door seeking help.
Although sometimes our ego thinks “You’re so vain. You probably think this song is about you, don’t you?” [Laughing]. Vanity! You think that everything is beautiful because I’m walking in it. No! Allah (AJ) says, “No! My beloved Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, he was walking in it! I made all these beautiful flowers for his honour. I made the sun to shine warm for his honour. I made every fragrance to come for his honour.” Then they say this is the stations of iman and love.
Hay Noor tera shams o qamar may
Tere labo ki, Laali sahar may
Poolo ne Teri Khushbu chura li
Saare Nabi tere dar ke sawali
Your light is in the Sun and the Moon, The dawn has the redness of your holy lips, All flowers have stolen your fragrance, All prophets are at your door seeking help.
When Islam & Iman is Real, then Maqamul Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence) Opens
With the Islam (submission) and iman (faith) is real then the light of ihsan, Maqam-ul-Ihsan (station of Moral Excellence) is opening into that servant. When that light, when these efforts are being made and being made and they spend their time in seclusion. They are secluding themselves in their rooms, and sitting on their chairs and on their couches, on their sijadah (prayer carpet), in their sujoods (prostrations) and putting a candle in their room in darkness. They say this is my grave I’m not leaving, I’m not leaving, I’m not leaving and Allah (AJ) begin to open their heart and they see their lord. They see the lordship of what Allah (AJ) want them to see. Because Maqam-ul-Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence) is the maqam of Ahlul Basirah (people of spiritual vision). Their heart begins to open their reality begins to open. So this is a brief reality of the upward triangle.
